Romney Won’t Revoke Young Illegal Immigrant Visas

Kasie Hunt, Google News, October 2, 2012

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he would honor temporary work permits for young illegal immigrants who were allowed to stay in the U.S. because of a decision by President Barack Obama.

Romney told The Denver Post, in an interview appearing in Tuesday’s edition, that people who are able to earn the two-year visas to stay and work wouldn’t see them revoked under a Romney administration.

“The people who have received the special visa that the president has put in place, which is a two-year visa, should expect that the visa would continue to be valid. I’m not going to take something that they’ve purchased,” Romney told the Post, promising to put a comprehensive immigration reform plan into place before those visas expire.

In June, Obama issued a new policy that allows some young illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children to avoid deportation. Romney criticized Obama for circumventing Congress to make the change a few months before the presidential election.

During the Republican presidential primary, Romney said he would veto legislation to provide a path to citizenship for some of the young people who benefited from Obama’s new policy.

The Denver Post interview comes as Romney and Obama are fighting a heated battle for Colorado, whose significant Hispanic population could determine which candidate receives the state’s nine electoral votes.

First off, thanks to AmRen for posting today’s stories during my lunch hour.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he would honor
temporary work permits for young illegal immigrants who were allowed to
stay in the U.S. because of a decision by President Barack Obama.

Romney has, by definition, made these “temporary” permits permanent.

    • ncpride

I’d say today is a busy day for AmRen, as Mr. Taylor is scheduled to speak tonight at Towson. Perhaps that’s why the news was posted so early.

Good luck to all, and I hope it goes very well!

      • Puggg

Okay, I’ll slap my own paw for forgetting.

        (Bad dog)

        I’ll be there in spirit.

        • ncpride

No sarcasm was intended in my post. I was just speculating on the news being posted so early, because I was pleasantly surprised as well. Plus, excited to know how it goes tonight for AmRen.

      • You might look at me with a really strange look in your eyes when I say this, and I doubt AR will not much appreciate this thread going OT, but I wasn’t too worried about the repeal of DADT.  What did give me pause for concern is that with its repeal, open homosexuals in the military would file a lawsuit and blame homphobia for every promotion they don’t get.

It is my understanding that DADT was a much bigger deal for lesbian women than it was for gay men, save the Navy which has some gay men.

“J P wrote -What else can this ticket do to piss off their base?”

If I could draw a cartoon I would draw an elephant with dozens of his own feet in his mouth. Yes dozens; even though elephants only have four. It seems that the Repos (Republican POS) grow extra feet just so they can stick it in their mouth.

P.S. An animation would be better.

  • Eagle_Eyed

Kris Kobach was an early supporter or Romney, and at the time who could blame him.  Rick Santorum couldn’t wait to brag about his immigrant past, Gingrich infamously defended the hypothetical 30 year American resident, otherwise law-abiding illegal, Rick Perry has done nothing but support superhighways with Mexico, and Ron Paul put on his tin-foil hat to state that a border fence would be used to keep Americans in the country and thus he was against it.  Perhaps Michele Bachmann would have been a better choice than Romney, but few thought she would be the nominee.

The problem with Mitt isn’t that he is wishy-washy and pragmatic.  We can use those characteristics to our benefit.  Once he’s in office, if conservatives in Congress want to they can dictate his presidency.  Mitt will roll over and play dead.  Unfortunately the left has found this out and will use it to their advantage while Ann Romney, er Coulter (I get ’em confused nowadays given each’s affection for Mitt) will dog on true conservatives like Todd Akin while defending every word Mitt the Milquetoast utters.

And Colorado has a substantial amount of white moderates–in fact more so than hispanics.  Romney should point to the economy, which is further hurt by illegal immigration, as related problems which hurt the American worker and taxpayer.

Instead of defending tax rates, which is the only thing Mitt seems to get fired up about, Romney should change the message of his campaign.  Use the poor economy as a reason to end immigration and reduce welfare.

    • Stentorian_Commentator

I agree, but I would add, oppose all affirmative action in a bid to break through to whites.  Alas, for a supposedly smart guy, he seems pretty clueless.  The difference between Mittens with his 47% comments and Michele Bachmann and misstating where John Wayne was born in Iowa?  Millions of dollars of funding.  Mittens had it and Michele didn’t.  As one wag once put it, life is like a crap sandwich; the more bread you have, the less crap you eat.

  • NM156

Gullible Hispanic voters think the president has the power to grant an amnesty, only a few years after Bush’s attempt at “comprehensive immigration reform” hit the rocks -twice- after the public went berserk in 2006/2007. I’ve also been noticing that the media and Hispanic advocacy groups have been changing their tune about what’s most important to Hispanic voters: with the election so close and so tight, they ate admitting that the fate of their co-ethnics is as important or more important than any other issue, including the economy. They will be sorry they let this slip after the election, no matter who wins.

  • How about the fact that the president cannot unilaterally change the law with out the
consent of Congress. Why isn’t Romney revoking this travesty because it
violates existing federal law! Face it; the GOP supports amnesty just as much as Obama does! Both parties have betrayed us and it’s time for a White nationalist party to emerge!

    • Eagle_Eyed

       Would it do any good?

I still believe the GOP must change from within.  Despite what one thinks of Ron Paul’s libertarian cult, they’ve done well to force the GOP to talk about the Federal Reserve, drug laws, and spending/bailouts.

But I’m open to being swayed either way.  The current GOP could die tomorrow and it wouldn’t bother me, given how anti-white its leadership is.

      • Stentorian_Commentator

I agree.  To paraphrase Christ in the Book of John, salvation is from the GOP, but ultimately it will be necessary to transcend the GOP by making it into a party for whites.

        • JohnEngelman

The Republican Party will always be the party of rich whites. They really do benefit from Republican policies. Anything else Republican politicians talk about is to win the votes of those who are not rich.

      • RisingReich

I find myself rooting for the GOP’s death.  Oh, how sweet that would be.
Some real ‘hope’ might come out of it…

However now I’m frightened that if it ‘dies’ this brainwashed country might become a one-party system for the Globalist Nightmare many of us see on the horizon.

        • Eagle_Eyed

Right, that is also my fear.  There are a few good Repubs, and enough mediocre ones to at least get in the way of the Marxist anti-whites for awhile.

        • jeffaral

The country is already one party system.   Vote for the lesser evil, vote obongo!

        • The Worlds Scapegoat

It is already a one party system. Communism.

    • C_C_Conrad

Which of course will not happen until or unless white people get sick enough of the current system.  So vote for Obama.

  • Eagle_Eyed

The real shame is that we really don’t have anyone to speak for us.  Despite their general conservatism, at the end of the day the Limbaughs, the Coulters, the Hannitys, etc. won’t go after Mitt when he drifts too far to the left.  They’ll support the lesser of two evils to the detriment of conservatism, which I’ve come to believe cannot exist without a white racial majority practicing it.

    • JohnEngelman

The goal of “the Limbaughs, the Coulters, the Hannitys, etc. ” is to make the rich richer. A high rate of immigration helps to achieve that by reducing wages.

  • MissBonnie123

Romney is a puppet of the globalists as Barack Obama is. He does what they tell him to do or he loses their funding and any positive media attention. As a result, he must be for open borders and illegal immigration in order to destroy our economy and Western civilization.

He will not get my vote. I am leaving the office of President on my ballot unmarked.

  • frank pucillo

So this is how it works. Both sides are really far leftist and commited to white genocide.

      • dmxinc

The definition you posted juxtaposed to what the politicians in both political parties openly support – they are in favor of white genocide. It can be the only result.

You may claim it is not their intention, but it will be the result nonetheless.

        • Defiant White

No they’re not.  Let’s get a grip people.  Politicians are not for “white genocide.”

All American politicians are going to play the multiculturalism game as long as that’s the way to get elected.  If Romney could get elected on a pro-white platform, he’d be pro-white.  And if Obama could get elected on a pro-white platform, he would ALSO be pro-white.  None of these politicians are willing to run based on any deep set beliefs. These guys are politicians PRECISELY because they’re willing to adopt any position to get elected . . . just like a prostitute is willing to do anything to get paid.

Our task as WNs is to sweep this  whole corrupt system off the table.  Wipe it clean and start again.

          • dmxinc

Good point, but don’t you think at least in the case of Obama, he’s a little anti-White?

          • JustaWhiteMom

            Dear Defiant.

You are hopelessly naive, but I mean no offense.  I was there in the not-to-distant past.

You say multiculturalism is “the way to get elected.”  I have no idea what makes you even think that is true, when polls show the voters are opposed to amnesty.

But even to the extent that is true, you have to realize that multiculturalism is official governmedia ideology.  It has already been decided upon.  Governmedia elites are not merely passive representatives who formulate their agenda based on public opinion.  To the contrary, they create public opinion to conform to their multicultural agenda.

Consider the recent grooming scandal in Britain.

From the article recently posted on Amren:

Revealing the fears over the racial element to the abuse, a 2010 report from the Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board said the crimes had ‘cultural characteristics … which are locally sensitive in terms of diversity’, but warned of ‘sensitivities of ethnicity with potential to endanger the harmony of community relationships’.

Did you get that?  The government conspired to conceal information from the public about the sexual abuse of children, even letting it continue, to prevent the British public getting any ideas about opposing multiculturalism.

This is a particularly extreme example, but the same thing was at play when Pat Buchanan was fired.  Remember, white demographic decline was “inappropriate for a national dialogue.”  The flow of information is to be controlled to achieve the desired outcome: more immigration, more multiculturalism, further erosion of white influence.

            Who is doing this?

Joel Stein, wrote in the Los Angeles Times in 2008:’I don’t care if Americans think we’re running the news media, Hollywood, Wall Street or the government. I just care that we get to keep running them.’

Now lest you think there is no harm in being dominated by Jews is not a problem, here is what Ben Wattenberg had to say about white Americans:

“The non-Europeanization of America is heartening news of an almost transcendent quality.”

Whites are not simply suffering from a lack of self-confidence or disorganizations.  Whites are the target of an organized race war designed to silence, suppress, and demonize us anytime we raise a fuss about our dispossession and looming destruction.

White politicians go along with it, I suppose, out of fear and greed.  But they can no longer deny that they understand the implications of what they are doing.  It is too obvious to see that “diversity” just means replacing whitey.  Detroit, London, Oslo, Malmo, all over the world.  You cannot tell me these greedy cowards don’t understand the end game here.

        • JohnEngelman

White genocide means herding millions of white folks into gas chambers or machine gunning them into open graves. No one advocates that.

      • C_C_Conrad

The following is the definition of Genocide as defined by United Nations General Assembly. Violation is an International Crime, punishable by the International Criminal Court.
…any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such:
        (a) Killing members of the group;
        (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
        (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
        (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
        (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
        – Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Article II

Read point (C) again & again until it sinks in.

        • JohnEngelman

Our economy is evolving in ways that make it increasingly difficult for people with low or even average IQs to earn decent incomes. Nevertheless, the process is impersonal, unintentional, and not specifically aimed at white people.
Human evolution has always favored those with more intelligence. That is why we are more intelligent than our ancestors were 100,000 years ago and earlier. It is also why most of us will not have descendants 100,000 years from now, and later.

Johnny ran away to la la land again…

          • C_C_Conrad

The important question for us at this time in history is – are we intelligent enough to survive.  This economy is set up to further the survival of non-whites over us.  If there are to be ANY whites 100k from now we must take care of the here & now.  We are facing what I call the Neanderthal Option, simply put we are facing life & death situations.  Yes, we must improve, that’s very important, but first we must survive.

          • JohnEngelman

The economy is set up to further the survival of those of all races with high IQs. It is no longer enough to be white, but being white is not a liability.

          • C_C_Conrad

White Americans are facing incremental genocide by design, from both sides —  subtle, stealthy and very dangerous — which is why so many people have trouble recognizing what is happening.

“Genocide involves the attempt to achieve the disappearance of a group by whatever means. It does not have to be violent, it could be a combination of policies that would lead to a certain group dying out.”

      — Malcolm Fraser (Prime Minister of Australia 1975-1983)

The current immigration policy favors flooding the U.S. with destitute, diseased, backwards non-Whites from the most depraved corners of the earth to race-replace and usurp Whites from their living space.

Is it genocide, there is no other word for it.

White Americans are forced to pay satanic taxes so non-White, welfare-eating parasites can produce large broods of future welfare parasites and criminals; White Americans must limit the size of their own families to support a growing, non-White, welfare class.

Anyone who support the coddling, acceptance and amnesty of millions of illegal aliens is pro-White genocide.

Those who acquire the rights of citizenship, without adding to the strength or wealth of the community; are not the people we are in want of.

      — James Madison

Last week, President 0bama authorized admission of 70,000 refugees to the U.S. in fiscal year 2013 that begins Oct. 1st.

      Africa . . . . . . . . . . . . .12,000
      East Asia. . . . . . . . . . . .17,000
      Europe and Central Asia. . . . . 2,000

      Near East/South Asia . . . . . .31,000
      Unallocated Reserve. . . . . . . 3,000

There is nothing more racist than genocide because it is the destruction of an entire race.

–Christian Miller, None Dare Call it Genocide.

  • bluffcreek1967

Whites should be careful to NOT view Mitt Romney as the ‘Great White Hope’ because he’s not! He’s a big government Republican who views the federal government as the ‘provider’ and helper’ of its citizens. This is the political framework from which he views things. And we must remember that he is NOT race-conscious as this article and many others have proven.

If Romney is elected, we will likely see some economic improvements. He will make some good decisons now and then, but he will NOT return America to its founding principles of limited government, etc. He will only slow down our demise, but not reverse it.

Even if some staunch conservatives were to influence and guide him somewhat, the changes would be minimal at best. That’s because Romney is not a reformer; he’s not a ‘radical’ so to speak; he doesn’t recognize the danger that America (and Whites in particular) finds itself in as a result of massive third-world immigration. Romney reflects the status-quo. He wants everyone to ‘like’ him. He wants to be seen as ‘nice.’ But at this crucial stage in U.S. history, we need a warrior; we need someone who has some fire in his belly – but sadly, we are only left with Mittens.

I will vote for Romney because he is better than the current empty suit (empty chair?) in the White House. But don’t expect much from him. Remember George Bush II? That really worked out well, didn’t it?

    • ricpic

Romney has been so wealthy for so long that the lives of middle class and lower class whites, lives fraught with economic and racial peril, lives lived under constant threat, are unreal to him. It’s not so much a lack of imagination as a lack of contact. Surrounded by multi-layers of protection and living in enclaves distant from them, brown them and black them, the real state of white America is out of sight to him. It’s not that he’s a bad man. And more power to him for having achieved the protection of wealth for his loved ones. But there’s no urgency because HE’S not in crisis, we are. And we are almost a different species to him. A second term for our murderously vicious enemy Obama will of course be worse. But don’t expect anything from Romney in defense of whites.

  • Stentorian_Commentator

This would be OK if I thought Mitt was thinking like a leftist in a procedural manner, willing to make a head fake to the left to confuse people.  However, I don’t think that works so well for our side and I doubt it, anyway.  It makes me glad that I have the luxury in my state of voting for Virgil Goode.  But it’s also just a reminder that the GOP has served us up another crap sandwich.  I would not be surprised if this sort of thing sinks Mittens, as it will anger and turn away more whites than it wins hispanics.  He’s becoming a McCain.

  • AngloCelt

Is this the Twilight Zone? Does Romney not understand that he will not capture this constituency regardless of what sad overtures he makes? Does he not understand that enabling the rise of the next generation of Latino voters plunges another dagger into the Republican Party by further watering down its share of the electorate?

    Wake. Up.

  • E_Pluribus_Pluribus

This is what he has to do.

Voting number is determining everything, specially during election year.

This is the reason that US changed so dramatically in the past 50 years.

Two parties would like to compete each other and see who can do better in the each election year by importing more immigrants for attraction of new immigrants into each party.

Dem party has been giving a lot of pressure to Rep party.

This year is the year for republican party to compromise and turn to new immigrants.

Snowwhitey: “I will not waste my vote on a mainstream candidate…”

Snowwhitey must like the idea of Barack Obama appointing federal judges for another four years. For anyone who thinks there is no difference between the two candidates,  consider the Arizona immigration law that the Court fully upheld: the Legal Arizona Works Act (LAWA).

LAWA “calls for revocation of a company’s business license if it has twice been found to knowingly or intentionally employ illegal workers.  The law (also) requires companies to use a federal online program known as E-Verify…” (Washington Post)

    * * *

All five Republican appointees to the Supreme Court voted to uphold LAWA.  All three Democrat-appointed judges vote to strike down LAWA.  (One Democrat Supreme Court judge recused herself.)

And yet, notwithstanding such radical difference in the voting patterns of Republican and Democrat appointees to the federal courts, many on this board (trolls perhaps) want you to believe that wasting your vote on an obscure third party candidate is the smart thing to do.

The only good thing about this is that there is no path to citizenship for these young illegals. All they will get is a 2 yr renewal of their work permits. They have no status. In most states, they will pay out of state tuition and are not eligible for any financial assistance.

  • America was a nice experiment, I just don’t think we Whites were in the driver’s seat for very long. There are people on this planet who would kill you for your shoes– Obama and his handlers have stolen TRILLIONS for the bankers through quantitative easing– imagine what those people who benefitted will do to get more. They’re the ones in control. Our lives, our nation mean nothing to them, just as a leech cares nothing for the vein its attached to. A leech, however, actually drops off after it’s gorged itself. Blacks and Hispanics are new buttons for our dear corporations to reset whites mind and attitudes because whites have too much attitudes and too much opinions.

That wouldn’t necessarily make him politically strong.  Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and Bush II each were noticeably weaker in their second term.  Nixon was the most obvious case, but the latter three presidents were lucky to stay in office, too.  If re-elected, Obama may come to regret it.  The omnipotent second-term president is generally a myth.
