Obama Video Compares Voting to Losing Virginity

CNN, October 25, 2012

Conservatives seemed to collectively gasp Thursday night when a web video from President Barack Obama’s campaign slyly compared a person’s first time voting to losing one’s virginity.

The star of the video, Lena Dunham, created and stars in the HBO show “Girls.” In the video, she appears in a close-up shot explaining the first time she voted.

“Your first time shouldn’t be with just anybody,” the actress and writer says. “You want to do it with a great guy.”

The unspoken comparison continues, as Dunham describes what kind of “guy” she’s talking about.

“It should be with a guy that really understands women,” she says. “A guy who cares whether you get health insurance, specifically whether you get birth control. The consequences are huge. You want to do it with a guy who brought the troops out of Iraq. You don’t want to do it with a guy who says, ‘Hey I’m at the library studying,’ when really he’s out not signing the Lilly Ledbetter act.”

At the end, the metaphor becomes even clearer: “My first time voting was amazing. There’s a line in the sand. Before I was a girl, now I was a woman.”

“I went to the polling station, I pulled back the curtain. I voted for Barack Obama,” the video concludes.

Dunham, whose show on HBO centers around her character’s life as a young woman in New York City, doesn’t shy away from risqué topics. {snip}

If this were part of a campaign to elect a Republican, the media would be falling over themselves to describe it as wierd/creepy/out-of-touch/etc. and very much in the same vein as Clint Eastwood’s chair episode.

But since it’s for Him, it’s an example of how hip, trendy, in-touch and “with it” Democrats are and surely one of the best political ads ever.

    Any questions?

    • Oil Can Harry

Not only is the ad creepy but dishonest: this shrill harpy slams Mitt Romney for not signing the 2009 Lily Ledbetter Act.

How could he have? He’s a retired governor, not a member of congress.

      • 5n4k33y35

And Lily Ledbetter was an ungrateful diversity token in the first place. She should not have won her lawsuit. She certainly did not deserve any legislation. The wage gap is a myth.

I call it the “Lily Ledbetter Hire-a-Skirt-Hire-a-Lawsuit Act”.

        • The Lily Ledbetter Act did nothing but lift the statues of limitations for civil rights lawsuits relating to gender pay discrimination lawsuits filed in Federal courts, because the namesake couldn’t win her because she filed it after the SOL ran out.

While we’re riding that train, we can lift all statutes of limitations, both civil and criminal.  That way, even if Eric Holder is 90 years old at the time, a future President and Attorney General with courage could prosecute him for his role in Gunrunner and get him thrown in the Federal prison.

He sounds like Lincoln in his debate with Douglas when he abhorred slavery’s extension into the territories because where you have slavery, you have mulattoes.

“But even suppose that only the lower strata of Whites mingle with the upper strata of Negroes, the result would be more slowly, but not the less surely, fatal. The interpenetration in our democratic society is too thorough. Here and there the Four Hundred may isolate themselves, but only for a time and imperfectly. Who knows when the scion of a millionaire may turn into a motorman, or the son of a peasant hew his way to the Capitol? Let the mongrel poison assail the humbler walks of life, and it will spread like a bubonic plague through the higher. The standing of the South would be lost irretrievably. Though her blood might still flow pure in myriad veins, yet who could prove it? The world would turn away from her, and point back the finger of suspicion, and whisper ‘Unclean!’

“Just here we must insist that the South, in this tremendous battle for the race, is fighting not for herself only, but for her sister North as well. It is a great mistake to imagine that one can be smutched and the other remain immaculate. Up from the Gulf regions the foul contagion would let fly its germs beyond the lakes and mountains. The floods of life mingle their waters over all our land. Generations might pass before the darkening tinge could be seen distinctly above the Ohio, but it would be only a question of time. The South alone would suffer total eclipse, but the dread penumbra would deepen insensibly over all the continent.”

  • With Obama, we all got f’d.

    •  In the A

      • And of course they had to use a White girl– sheesh. He’s so sexy! All blacks are sexy,–at least that’s what I keep hearing every day and night.

  • Up to my neck in CA

More promotion of miscegenation? After all who would want to be with a boring old White guy, when you can have a hip and down brother to experiance? My 16 year old daughters eyes are WIDE open to this type of media manipulation.

    • Mercerian Jed

For your 16 year old White daughter- may she spread the word among her pure White friends:

“It is idle to talk of education and civilization and the like as corrective or compensative agencies. All are weak and beggarly as over against the almightiness of heredity, the omniprepotence of the transmitted germ-plasma. Let this be amerced of its ancient rights, let it be shorn in some measure of its exceeding weight of ancestral glory, let it be soiled in its millennial purity and integrity, and nothing shall ever restore it; neither wealth, nor culture, nor science, nor art, nor morality, nor religion—not even Christianity itself. Here and there these may redeem some happy spontaneous variation, some lucky freak of nature; but nothing more—they can never redeem the race. If this be not true, then history and biology are alike false; then Darwin and Spencer, Hæckel and Weismann, Mendel and Pearson, have lived and laboured in vain.”

      • Sherman_McCoy

My 5-sear-old calls them “baboons.”  Who am I to disabuse her of such ideas?

  • HowdyDooooooo

“When I voted for Obama, it felt like I was screwing the whole country!”

    • Mercerian Jed

“Equally futile is the reply, so often made by our opponents, that miscegenation has already progressed far in the Southland, as witness millions of Mulattoes. Certainly; but do not such objectors know in their hearts that their reply is no answer, but is utterly irrelevant? We admit and deplore the fact that unchastity has poured a broad stream of white blood into black veins; but we deny, and perhaps no one will affirm, that it has poured even the slenderest appreciable rill of Negro blood into the veins of the Whites. We have no excuse whatever to make for these masculine incontinences; we abhor them as disgraceful and almost bestial. But, however degrading and even unnatural, they in nowise, not even in the slightest conceivable degree, defile the Southern Caucasian blood. That blood to-day is absolutely pure; and it is the inflexible resolution of the South to preserve that purity, no matter how dear the cost. We repeat, then, it is not a question of individual morality, nor even of self-respect. He who commerces with a negress debases himself and dishonours his body, the temple of the Spirit; but he does not impair, in anywise, the dignity or integrity of his race; he may sin against himself and others, and even against his God, but not against the germ-plasma of his kind.”

    Question for Freudians:

Why is Obama so obsessed with the sex lives of young white women?

    • Mercerian Jed

“Far more than this, however, even if only very superior Negroes formed unions with non-superior Whites, the case would not be altered; for it is a grievous error to suppose that the child is born of its proximate parents only; it is born of all its ancestry; it is the child of its race. The eternal past lays hand upon it and upon all its descendants. However weak the White, behind him stands Europe; however strong the Black, behind him lies Africa.”

-William Benjamin Smith, THE COLOR LINE: A BRIEF IN BEHALF OF THE UNBORN, 1905

    • I wouldn’t say so. More likely, dumb young liberal females are obsessed with Obummer. He- whatever the rumors- is actually an asexual type (Danny DeVito is sex icon compared to Obama).

      • MerlinV

Bardon, do Eastern European women suffer from this media-induced African primate fetish as they do here? I want to find a GOOD White wife. I’m guessing I’ll have to go to Poland or Russia to find one.

        • Sherman_McCoy

Let me answer.  My Russian-Ukrainian wife from Moldova has given me the happiest 14 years (so far) of my life.  She is beautiful, talented, intelligent, passionate, blond, and uses the “n” word at the drop of a hat.  It sounds so cute with that “Moose and Squirrel” accent.

Just let me warn you, you can get burned.  If you would be considered a “5”, don’t go after a “10”.  Be reasonable and get to know someone for the long haul.  That said, it’s sort of hard to find a young Russian woman who isn’t a 10.  : )

      • Mark

Bardon, are you saying that his two children are not his?

        • Sherman_McCoy

Maybe, maybe not.  Michael Jackson’s children are genetically his . . .via turkey baster.

  • Mercerian Jed

This is a blatant advertising for mescegnation.   That’s what has happened to us- mescegnation and presidential election politics all raced mixed into one big cesspool of bestiality for White girls.

    Diversity: Mainstreaming Bestiality

  • MerlinV

Yes I saw that disgusting video. Maybe this explains why every time I see the Kenyan at a rally on TV there are scores of White females in their prime reproductive years standing behind Cocoa Puff applauding wildly. Sickening. These traitors are morally ill.

    • 5n4k33y35

Don’t let her get to you. She may look girlish but she’s a 26 year old, tattooed, hipster slut.

  • Equating first-time sex with voting may be cute for adult TV but not for presidential politics. This is a shallow liberal attempt to lure young women to vote for who’s cool and to focus on the little issues with little regard for the really big issues. Who’s going to provide them healthcare and contraception when all the money runs out due to reckless fiscal/economic policy? How many more trillion$ do you think China will loan us? I’m voting for the successful business man and not the communityorganizer. That’s the big issue that should be in the fore front. Liberals love to dumb-down the impressionable voters always using religion, race, and gender issues to divide the people..

    First parody has hit YT:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSxDE1QCHA4

It’ll only be a matter of time until we get a “Hitler finds out…” (“Downfall” parody) from this.

    • IstvanIN

My goodness, that video is not a parody, that IS the typical Demoncrat voter!

  • Mercerian Jed

“We congratulate our friends in the North that they can play with fire without fear of burns; that they can wine and dine amiable and interesting Negroes as rare birds of passage, with no thought of ulterior consequences—at least, to themselves. Their wealth, their power, their culture, their grandeur, but more than all else, their excessive preponderance in numbers, preclude the thought that in many generations their blood could be perceptibly tinged with tides from Africa. With us of the South, alas! the whole situation is quite another. They may safely smile at such an incident as an empty scabbard; but to us it is a drawn dagger.”

Lena Dunham is typical of far too many of the White women I see here in the SF Bay Area: attired in a wrinkly, sloppy cut-off T-shirt; short cropped boyish hair (akin to the Rachel Maddow look); unseemly tattoos in the most obvious places; a somewhat dyke look about her; and a geeky, liberal attitude that tries to project how much smarter she is than folks who vote for Romney – after all, for goodness sake, he didn’t even sign the Lily Ledbetter Act!? These type of women do their best to de-feminize themselves into some androgynous look – and then wonder why so many men have no interest in them! Quite frankly, my first thought when I saw this video was to wonder whether she’s even had relations with a “great guy” or any guy for that matter because she comes off as a lesbian!

But these are the type of young women that conservatives and race realists are up against. Just listening to her for a brief moment tells you that she’s been thoroughly indoctrinated with politically-correct ideology!

I know this is a judgment call, but the destructive and idiotic nature of liberalism is shown in how so many of our young people dress. Instead of having some self-pride and dressing appropriate, many of them dress like slovenly hippies, having an almost homeless chic appearance about them! They deface their bodies with unsightly and nonsensical tattoos, piercing themselves like Bantu tribesmen, and all the while convinced of how hip they are!?

  • Ben

Are you really going to go down this road?  I am certainly no fan of Nobama. That being said, there is no evidence that Obama is homosexual or has had any gay expericnes. Rumor and gossip do not equal truth.

    • 5n4k33y35

That’s what he gets for approving the ad. Now it is not wrong to denigrate his masculinity, since he has made that the focus of his campaign. Before the ad, I would have agreed with you. I even said the same thing a few days ago.

    • SLCain

“I am certainly no fan of Nobama. That being said, there is no evidence
that Obama is homosexual or has had any gay expericnes.”

Well, there is no evidence that’s still alive anyway:

    • ATBOTL

There is an unfortunate strain of moronservatism that ignores reality and wallows in fantasy.  “Obama is gay” falls into this.

      • Puggg

That’s why Kevin Du Jan loses me sometimes.

I don’t care what kind of orifice Barack Obama has ever stuck it in.  I don’t care which house in which city Obama will go to sleep in other than the White House on the night of January 21, 2013.  I almost don’t care about any weird circumstances relating to his college records which he’ll never release, because it’s probably too late to prosecute him anyway even if there was any illegal behavior.

I do care very much about the brass tacks of the matter, that we live in a fundamentally sick supposedly white first world country, a country where someone like and named “Barack Obama” won power with the permission of enough people that look like you and me.  And that we have been diseased with multiracialism for many decades before Obama.

Race comes first, everything else is ultimately negotiable.

The part of the Kevin Du Jan mentality we need to adopt is the repudiation of what he called “eeyores.”

  • Old Right

Wasn’t a woman by the name of Dunham the original Obama Mama? Maybe we have a distant relative here?

  • The ad is telling us that a young white girl should lose her virginity to an older black male.

We knew that was the agenda all along.

  • IKantunderstand

Perfect, and I mean PERFECT example of so called “progressive”. We are all apparently sex parts. Some of us act accordingly to our natural born sex parts. Some of us dress them up in the clothing of other people’s sex parts. Some of us claim, that regardless of our natural born sex parts, we prefer people with natural born sex parts the same as us. Some of us seek to physically change our sex parts. Some of us like to interact our sex parts in a way which might be hazardous to our health. Some of us want our sex parts protected from unintended inhabitants, (as far as I know, this means babies, not crab lice). Seriously, does Sandra Fluke want crab lice medication for free? Some of us have our sex parts covered by brown skin (fore and aft) and we demand (deserve!!!) special treatment of our brown sex parts. And finally, no one with White sex parts gets a fair break. Unless the aforementioned White sex parts prefers members of the same sex parts. Maybe. Seriously, how can any moral, normal,  right thinking person disagree with the “progressive” viewpoint of the world. Amren people, please get your sex parts in order. (The ” progressives”  have in fact conflated “sex parts” with, I don’t know, everything?)

  • SLCain

There was a minor stir concerning Lena Dunham last spring – a very typical racial blackmail campaign conducted against her because her show on HBO didn’t feature any black people.  This is probably part of her act of contrition – to prove her anti-racism credentials.

  • Another POS from ” those who care ” about the ” War On Women ” ! Where’s the ” outrage ” from women ? I guess that ” Progressive Democrats ” can insult, degrade, & dehumanize women… That’s OK !

First, it was helpless and hapless, liberated  ” Julia “, then ” Vote like your ‘ Lady Parts ‘ depend on it “…

    And now this !

As for the actress…Boycott her show on HBO and write the show’s sponsors !

She needs to be taught the consequences !

  • bluffcreek1967

Oh geez, that explains alot right there!

  • bluffcreek1967

Yep. If you really want to see something sickening, watch the day when Kelly Ripa’s new permanent host was announced. He’s a large Black fellow, but I can’t remember his name. I think he was former football player. Anyways, when he arrived at the studio, Kelly’s large Black host picked her up, swung her around, and they began to kiss in a most inappropriate manner. It was quite over the top to say the least! The brain-dead crowd was going wild with excitement. Not only that, but she’s a married woman and I can imagine her husband wasn’t very pleased with some other guy kissing all over her.

Personally, I think Kelly Ripa is typical of so many White women in the U.S.: Narcissistic, unable to cope with the natural aging process, unable to stop talking for even a moment (literally never ending ramblings), excessively vain, and hopelessly politically-correct.

    • On TV (and radio), you can’t have dead air. Hence they have to have people who talk incessantly. Ripa is perfect because she can’t shut up.

The pairing of a white blond and a black male is all part of the ‘agenda’; make white women comfortable with black men.

As for the audience. They’re just excited to be on TV. The program is irrelevant. They would applaud live executions if they thought the host would walk into the audience and talk to them.

I’d sure like to know what Regis thinks of the guy who replaced him.

Has anyone noticed the lack of class in this administration? I know that’s an old-fashioned word, but perhaps this country needs to return to a “kinder and gentler” time that a past President suggested.
Both the VP and the President use language not befitting their offices, the President approves a political ad that encourages promiscuity and members of their administration follow their lead with language that would make a sailor’s hair stand on end – think Rahm Emanuel and Rod Blagojevitz.
The worst thing about all this is, they don’t seem to see anything wrong with being coarse. Many years ago, those who used this kind of language or spoke of things not normally discussed in public were deemed low-class. Is this what our leaders have sunken to?
