Bangladeshi Muslims Burn 10 Buddhist Temples over Facebook Photo

Christian Science Monitor, September 30, 2012

Thousands of Bangladeshi Muslims angry over an alleged derogatory photo of the Islamic holy book Quran on Facebook set fires in at least 10 Buddhist temples and 40 homes near the southern border with Myanmar, authorities said Sunday.

The violence began late Saturday and continued until early Sunday, said Nojibul Islam, a police chief in the coastal district of Cox’s Bazar.

He said the situation was under control Sunday afternoon after extra security officials were deployed and the government banned public gatherings in the troubled area.

He said at least 20 people were injured in the attacks that followed the posting of a Facebook photo of a burned copy of the Quran. The rioters blamed the photo on a local Buddhist boy, though it was not immediately clear if the boy actually posted the photo.

Buddhists make up less than 1 percent of Muslim-majority Bangladesh’s 150 million people.

Muslims are offended by literally everything.
For a short list of things offensive to Islam

Muslims looting, pillaging, and destroying?! In other news, water is wet.

Tis but how the Moon demon death cult’s members  chose to wile away their time.

  • Muslims, like blacks, are in a perpetual state of “outrage”.

When you try to help them, they’re ‘outraged’ that you’re interfering with their affairs and you don’t know nothing about their problems and solutions (or you’re imposing white standards on them). If you don’t help them, they’re ‘outraged’ that white folk don’t care about them.

When it comes to blacks, you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

  • The poor, persecuted Muslims are not only picked on by wicked Western cartoonists, but by Burmese Buddhists. Luckily they showed restraint and only destroyed for temples and 15 homes when a rude image of the Koran was shown on Facebook. Imagine how a less peaceful religion would have responded.

Meanwhile these same Bangladesh Muslims are pouring into Italy and closing in the Vatican.  I wonder what they’ll do with the Sistine Chapel?

“In Sri Lanka last September, a Sinhalese mob led by some 100 Buddhist monks demolished a Muslim shrine in the ancient city of Anuradhapura. As the crowd waved Buddhist colors, gold and red, a monk set a green Muslim flag on fire. The monks claimed that the shrine was on land that had been given to the Sinhalese 2,000 years ago — an allusion to their proprietary right over the entire island nation, as inscribed in ancient religious texts.”

That kind of behavior is far more common among Muslims than those of other faiths.

I have read the Koran three times in three English translations. Unlike the New Testament, the Koran recommends violence to spread the faith.
On every few pages readers are warned that if they do not believe what they are reading they will go to Hell. Similar passages in the New Testament are few, and lend themselves to different interpretations.

There will soon be a world Islamic mob violence movement to end the Olympics because Islamic nations like Saudi Arabia don’t win any medals. One reason Islamic nations don’t win many/ any medals is because they don’ allow Islamic women to compete or do much of anything in Islamic societies besides staying home and cranking out lots of ugly, violent Islamic terrorist children.

    What are you gonna do?

We’ve long since established that the Koran is flammable, so burning Korans shouldn’t get anyone excited anymore.

    The current questions, though:

    1.  Does the Koran do a good job soaking the grease out of freshly-cooked bacon?
    2.  Does the Koran make good toilet paper, or is it too rough and scratchy?
    3.  Is the Koran flushable?

Think what they’ll do to our monuments, museums, etc. as soon as they have the numbers.
