Federal Job Bias Claims Rise in 2011

Fox News, January 24, 2012

Federal job discrimination complaints rose to an all-time high last year, led by an increase in bias charges based on religion and national origin.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission received nearly 100,000 charges of discrimination during the 2011 fiscal year, the most in its 46-year history. That’s a slight increase over the previous year, which had 25 fewer complaints.

Charges of religious discrimination jumped by 9.5 percent, the largest increase of any category.

Claims of bias based on ancestry or country of origin rose 5 percent.

Experts say the increase reflects the growing diversity of the nation’s work force.

Charges of racial bias fell by 1 percent, while sexual discrimination claims fell 2 percent and sexual harassment claims dropped 3 percent.

Nearly 100,000 complaints? Most in EEOC history? Looks like a lot of people didn’t get the memo about how we’ve been living in a perfect paradise of post-racial harmony and love since November of 2008. Looks like Obama has to sprinkle some more of his magical unicorn tears to solve these last few problems before we can reach true justice in this country.

People laughed at the guy who predicted the Rapture twice last year, but I’m much more troubled by the people who anticipated that January 20, 2009 would be the date that all good Americans would be raptured into a Post-Racial America. Instead we find ourselves in a post-America America.

Problems will only increase as jobs disappear (overseas or gone entirely) and nonwhites organize further about their racial identity to compete for the scraps. One example of this competition is the above article.

“Experts say the increase reflects the growing diversity of the nation’s work force.”

The wonders of an ever-increasing diverse society mean an ever-fracturing culture and increasing disunity among its citizens.  The white/black or Christian/Jewish divide was often bad enough for society at times 60 years ago; but nowadays you must include hispanics, asians, muslims, arabs, sihks, buddhists, indians, homos, midgets, he/shes, alcoholics, etc. as protected groups.  Trust disappears, and more and more time/energy is spent fighting petty quarrels.  Diversity is strength only to Orwellian liberals.

I know someone who had a business and had a black woman once.  He fired her for not doing her job and even documented she wasn’t doing her job.  The black woman, of course, screamed racism and an EEOC (black guy) came in and investigated.  Once he realized the black woman was justifably fired, the EEOC guy said to my friend, “You know, I’m sick of black people who do this.  They want sympathy for not following the rules.”

      That’s a one in a million quote.

“The commission does not specify which religious or ethnic groups filed the most charges.”

You know when the groups are not mentioned, it is for a political reason, that is to say, it doesn’t fit the liberal “in” ideology. In this case, what would you bet that they were from male Caucasian Christians who are becoming more conscious of bias against them?

Unless you have several thousand dollars to pursue a law suit, no matter how much evidence you have to support it, you are going to go nowhere fast.
