Poll: Obama Loses Ground with White Voters, Women, Liberals

Maggie Haberman, Politico, August 29, 2011

The AP has moved some cross-tabs on President Obama from its latest poll, and they signal some low points with his 2008 coalition as the GOP moves closer to picking a general election candidate.

{snip}

The key figures are:

* Just 36 percent of white voters approve of the job he’s doing, while 59 percent say he should lose in November 2012. That’s down from 56 percent after his first three months in office, and he is upside-down with this group in every region except the Northeast.

* Three in ten white independents say he should get a second term, and 41 percent of them say he “understands the problems of people like them.”

Hmmm – let me see — unemployment’s up, the economy’s down, housing prices are down, food, gas & utility prices are UP — was this what BO promised us in ’08? I don’t seem to remember that. And I’m not voting for him – again — I really don’t want to be on the same level as idiots.

Defeating President Obama comes done to one thing; a viable Conservative, Republican candidate.

While President Obamas support is slowly eroding, people have to have an alternative to vote for.

I hate to say it boils down to charisma but it boils down to charisma. American voters are fickle that way.

I’m sorry but the “independents” are the worst people in this country. Get off the fence and stand for something. Social issues, foreign policy, you’re either liberal or conservative on these. You don’t have to be a Democrat or Republican, but even a libertarian is personally conservative or liberal on individual issues.

These “independents” are the ones that gave us Obama. They claim to be blinded by the Bush hysteria. I couldn’t wait to see Bush go but that didn’t mean I thought a Red “community organizer” was the way to go, and no amount of standing the fool up in front of Greek columns and “Yes We Can” was going to convince me otherwise. Because even though I don’t consider myself a Republican or a Democrat, I definitely know where I stand. I’m certainly not “independent,” nor is anyone that frequents this site, I don’t care what they say. If you’re here, you’ve definitely taken a position that cannot in any be construed as “independent.”

If you thought Obama would be a good idea as President, when even with the horrible job of vetting it was obvious what we were going to get, if after all this you STILL think Obama deserves a second term, there’s a label for you alright. You’re a liberal.

Well maybe there’s more than one label for you…

Even liberals wise up eventually if you crap on them long enough. A few masochists will continue to support their destruction

I would love to see another dem challenge for the nomination but that wont happen. Unfortunately the GOP candidates suck except for Ron Paul and he cant seem to gain any traction. I fear another 4 years of O-mageddon.

Obama is better at public speaking than Bush was, but the substance and actions are no better. Republicans really dropped the ball with Bush, pushing forward a candidate who was so unqualified and disastrous over the years, that Obama was the only alternative.

Think of how much American wealth has been squandered on the overseas adventures of so many of our presidents of the last 30 years! All for NOTHING.

Gah! Do the Yankees STILL not get it!?!?! This demographic, the yuppie white East Coast mainline Protestant, has to be the most ruinous in history.

That’s a huge percentage. Why would any White person, other than Hollywood/NYC traitors, approve of barack hussein obama is beyond my comprehension.

RON PAUL all the way because as if being backed by the Russian media isn’t enough credibility for Right-wingers, he also has many Left-wing supporters and thus more credibility than Bachmann to capitalize on this massive White liberal disenchantment which probably has a lot to do with awareness that the flash mobs are a Black phenomenon, that the media and the worthless Muslim boy-president ignored that fact and that being a PC Liberal wont save Whites from being expropriated.

    That’s still 36% too many.

I am a Mormon. I would love to see Mitt Romney as president, because I feel that he is the most capable candidate. But, if Evangelical and Roman Catholic anti-Mormon paranoia would result in four more years of the obamanation, I don’t want to see him run.

36% of whites still approve of Obama? Huh??? It should be 0%. I would love to know who these whites are so I can take them out to the woodshed!

Well, I’m highly skeptical of that number: 36%. It sounds puffed up to me.

If it isn’t, that’s a lot of white folks still suckling at the teet of the MSM.

#3’s comment is interesting. Sometimes these people call themselves “moderates”. It’s been said most people that call themselves moderates or independents are really neither. They will tend to vote to the right or to the left regardless of their professed rejection of party labels, which is mere superficial semantics, not the reality of how they vote. A much smaller fraction, probably a percentage similar to the number of people that have schizophrenia, will actually be those bizarre, alien creatures, the independents, themselves, if they even exist at all in reality.

“Why would any White person, other than Hollywood/NYC traitors, approve of barack hussein obama”

It could be because they believe in big government intervention and ‘compassion and intelligence’. The cynic might argue that these things don’t work in a multiracial society.

Eventually, we will reach a tipping point beyond which it really won’t matter much what white voters think. When the parasites outnumber the hosts, they will vote in socialist politicians who will ruin what’s left of American. Our only hope, and frankly the only hope for the West, is eugenics. If science can provide people with the option of choosing physical and intellectual traits, people the world over will tend to choose lighter skin, higher I.Q. and more European temperament. It won’t happen over night, but it doesn’t have to. Blacks will start by choosing lighter skin, a more European nose, high I.Q., etc., and five generations later, you’ve got the Aryan superman. It can’t happen soon enough.

In 2008 (or was it ’10?) whites voters comprised 74% of the electorate. That’s trending downward a bit thanks to our insane immigration policies, but based on ’08 numbers a candidate who wins 64% of the white vote wins 47% of the overall popular vote. Of the remaining 26% he’d only need to get about 1 voter in 8. He can get most of that just by getting a little under half of the Asian vote.

Obama’s defeat isn’t sealed, but it’s not looking very good.

Romney is a sell out. You must want Obamacare. Romney does. He is NO conservative, period. So you are a Mormon and would like to see a Mormon such as Romney win? Sounds like those blacks who voted for Obama because he was black.

Does not surprise me at all. For one, my stupid sister in law. Down the road from us lives a family, they are intellectual, he is a professor at a college.

Ethics are unimportant, as long as the color is right.
