Executive Order to Push Agencies on Diversity

President Obama on Thursday issued an executive order requiring government agencies to develop plans for improving federal workforce diversity.

The administration has had diversity on its radar for a while and last year said it would take steps to build a more varied workforce. In fiscal 2009, according the federal government, white men held more than 61 percent of senior pay-level positions among workers. The long-awaited executive order marks the highest-profile response to what has been a perennial concern.

The details of the initiative have yet to be worked out. Instead of creating a new administrative body, as did Obama’s 2009 executive order on veterans’ employment, the diversity initiative will lean on a council of deputy agency chiefs, along with the Office of Personnel Management, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

That group will be responsible for creating a government-wide plan within 90 days. According to the order, after the government-wide plan is released, each agency must present its own specific plan for diversity within 120 days. {snip}

    What took him so long? Seems like this would be a priority from day one.

    What’s up with this coming out now? He is giving the Tea Party and concerned independent White voters all the reasons to not vote for him. But he expects reelection. What’s up with that? Look for something big that will put him back in office, be controversial, and then disappear as a story when all the reporters who mention it disappear. 2013 will be the worst year of your life, and the beginning of worse and worse… you know it’s true…. how are you preparing?

    This is great news. Because African-Americans are greatly overrepresented in the Federal Government workforce (in comparison to their percentage in the overall population), this means that the Fed Gov. will need to hire only Whites for a long time in order to make the Fed Gov. workforce reflect the racial make-up of the Nation.

    Unless, of course, what they really mean is the exact opposite — i.e., to further ethnically clense Whites from the Fed. Gov. workforce.

It is also true that virtually all of these White men started their careers 30+ years ago when Whites were still 80+ percent of the population, and women were only beginning to move into the work force in greater numbers. It is obvious, given a general push for diversity that over time, we would be able to balance out the racial and gender balance of a workforce at all levels, and that this would occur naturally. But this is only possible if we have immigration which EXACTLY matches our current population distribution. What we are doing when we both force the diversity issue too soon, AND import ever greater numbers of non-Whites, is to remove our most experienced and successful leaders and managers and replace them with less qualified individuals. And we are doing this because we have as a goal the IMPOSSIBLE task of attaining the desired race/gender diversification result. What this will do is to remove more and more Whites from the work force at greater speeds, or at best, push them aside in order to move diversity members up-the-chain. That the desired result is forever unattainable in a world where Whites have a diminishing population is known to those in power. Their goal is not to have a diverse workforce, but to have a non-White work force.

    This is outrageous.

    In all 22 independent federal agencies and in 16 of 17 federal executive departments, blacks are massively over represented.

    The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, for example, has employed 614% more blacks than their proportion in the civilian workforce, and the U.S. Department of Education employed 473% more blacks. And of course the post office hires a wildly disproportionate number of blacks.

    The federal government is a repeat offender when it comes to discriminating against white males.

    Given that government agencies are belt-tightening and also that there’s probably not enough white people retiring from gov’t service, I guess the only thing to do is to fire white people directly and replace them with blacks. Isn’t that what some black sheriff did a year or so ago, with snipers on the roof to escort the whites out? The end game is on. The barbarians are not only at the gate, they’re in our yards, living rooms and minds!

    In order to fight racism and increase racial diversity we need to count people by race, even though race is just a social construct! -The mind of a dictator at work.

    I think this black cloud has a silver lining. These government bureaucrats will sell out their fellow Whites without batting an eyelash. I wonder how many of the neutered will suddenly notice their own interests are tied in with the interests of their race?

    Ignore the fed. It will crumble on it’s own, with all that brown incompetence. Who would want to be there, anyway…it is close to a prison sentence to work under incompetent, grudge-bearing browns.

    Better to sweep floors (seriously) at Target, and do an honest day’s work!

    Blacks are already over-represented in both Federal and State employment. They are 13%, but account for well over twice that in these agencies. I thought that’s what quotas were supposed to ensure.

    However, we all know that there would be no Black middle class without government employment. And Obama needs more Black government jobs to placate his otherwise unemployable constituency. Who cares if the U.S. postal service in Chicago is over 70% Black?

    Affirmative Action needs to really level the playing field, which means that the government will eventually hire every Black person in America if it has to.

    Note that the complaint is that there isn’t enough Diversity in higher paying SENIOR positions. White males have already been purged from lower and middle management positions. Now they will be purged from executive, senior management positions. White women will probably get most of them because they are overall the best qualified of the Protected Groups. That’s why white women fill most government hire positions already.

    But they are herding white men into a corner. I guess that is so they can pick us off as terrorists when we finally give in to our outrage and desperation. I hope at least SOME white women will stick with us and that WE will stick together. The future looks pretty awful.

    Ya, a little diversity in the Chicago area post offices might be a good thing. As it is now, it’s predominantly Black. In the 80s I was on one of the EEO committees that was set up in the larger post offices in Chicago and surounding area, and I presume all over the country. In determining an appropriate racial makeup to achieve a optimal diversity, it was said that the racial makeup of the office should mirror the racial makeup of the area serviced by that office. That didn’t seem unreasonable to most of us there. Of course now, the racial makeup of most larger offices is majority Black, no matter what the racial breakdown of the areas they dis-service. All diversity really means is replace Whitey.

    I have been patriotic my entire life. I’ve arrived at a point where I don’t have any regard for this country any more. I am officially a second-class citizen. And the people I vote for that actually win refuse to take a stand for the rights of white people. And that’s because THEY are well off and are afraid to rock the boat and be called names.

    Welcome to Zimbabwe and South Africa. The push to ethnically cleanse is on. And NO white politician will point out the over-representation of blacks in government at ALL levels. Why? Because the anti-white MSM will cry racism! They fear that word so much they will let their nation, race and family be destroyed.

    All a white politician need do is point out the FACTS over and over again and ignore the name calling by the MSM. It would take some back bone but hey, it is either that or death.

    And by the way, one of the reasons government, though not the only reason, is so expensive is that the more blacks you hire the more blacks you need to do a given job. They are so slow and stupid and incompetent that it takes two of them to do poorly what one white person did.

    Please keep in mind that a large percentage of government jobs go to the foreign born. So many of those jobs are not even used to pay off “American” blacks.

    Black-run organisations tend to be much more corrupted and inefficient.

    I think it will slowly dawn on people that this is it. America is beyond hope, and I think most of you, by virtue of understanding the general condition of the nation, stops contributing.

    American establishment has since long turned it’s backs on you, don’t be a sucker and play by the rules.

    America will slowly degenerate into the third world status that it is destined to. Children under the age of 3 are already majority non-white, so the destiny of this nation is already sealed.

    Don’t become a new South Africa. The only two options is either partition (which involves conflict) or going to another country.

    Unlike the vast majority, you do not have the excuse that ‘you didn’t know what was coming’. You knew and you know.

    Money is not an issue either, remember, don’t play by the rules. Take a massive loan and go abroad and don’t come back. Let the blacks clean up the mess(which they won’t).

    Whites play too much by the rules.

    That’s kind of ridiculous because large companies and corporations strive for excellence too. . I mean. . use affirmative action. Reminds me of the recent story posted on here about not-enough-officers-of-color in the Marine corps. Could this be true because everyone else is ‘recruiting’ persons of color too?

    Even where affirmative action has been outlawed, at least in theory, in states like California, all private companies still use it because the laws passed against affirmative action only address government hiring.

    You wrote a fine comment, but money IS an issue, first last and always. Money and power but it takes the first to achieve the second.

    Yes, people do know what’s coming when they look at their children’s schools, look around them in the supermarkets and hear every language except English, notice all of the the new neighbors are nonwhites, turn on the TV and see whites portrayed as fools or paired with noble blacks, watch racist blacks such as Obama and Holder cater to “their” people, demand whites hand their jobs to blacks while placing new tax burdens on whites. Yes, we’ve been given fair warning.

    Blacks did not create this mess. They are doing what blacks do naturally when they find themselves in an advanced civilization in which they cannot cope let alone compete. They become resentful and violent, egged on by those who support them. They are far too unintelligent to organize themselves. I blame them for causing a lot of their own misery but I blame the politicians and government more for allowing them to take jobs for which they are not qualified and ignoring or making excuses for their aberrant behaviors such as rioting, attacking and raping whites and intimidating white voters.

    Take a massive loan and go abroad and don’t come back.

    I remember a case a few years back about an Iranian immigrant who was tipped off that he about to be indicted on charges of running a large scam, probably massive insurance fraud. He managed to lease five luxury cars claiming they were for his phony businesses, sold the cars within a few days and absconded back to Persian paradise with the money. I don’t think this is an isolated incident.

While in the Federal Civil Service I came across nothing but men hating women in the senior positions. I literally had one woman say “You men had your day, not it is our turn” when I complained about how men were treated when it came to hiring and promotions.

    As one author on another site said, everyone in this country who is not a white male has a chip on their shoulder about white males. Especially in government jobs. I now look forward to the complete economic collapse of this nation, even though I will suffer along with everyone else, just to see these people put out of their jobs and into a world where their color or sex does not give them an unfair, unearned advantage. You know, true equality, the thing that they say they want.

    If the government only hired blacks, then we will look like Africa in short order,. just like the “chocolate” mayor of New Orleans didn’t have a clue as to what to do and then blamed everyone else. What’s not obvious on just the one point of the school buses? People need to be evacuated, school buses need to be moved to higher ground. Doesn’t take rocket science. Everything will go to h*** in a handbasket at rocket speed if many more are given government jobs.

    If carried out effectively, it will essentially put us in a South Africa style bureaucracy that should be enough to push the already teetering government to collapse.

    Its interesting how this guy, when losing popularity did not even try to appease the center, but shifted further left, as if he has some promises from the elite about being re-elected or receiving some sort of other benefit.

    I once read in “Government Executive” magazine about a white male employee of the Dept. of Health and Human Services who applied for a supervisor position. When he didn’t get selected, he asked why and was told the agency had affirmative action “goals” it had to meet. The upshot was that the agency, including management, was ALREADY about 95% minority and women! He filed a discrimination lawsuit against the government, but due to the lengthy legal process, I lost track of the case.

    I work for a federal agency, and this has been standard operating procedure for several years. A white man with experince, knowledge, or even military service, is almost always passed over for promotion in favor of a minority, or a woman, almost every time.

    As a white woman, I simply cannot understand why more white women like myself are not concerned about what is being done to our men. I have a father, two brothers, a husband and three grown sons–white men, every one of them. I hear the pain and/or outrage when they are passed over for a promotion, or an affirmative action hire, or some other egregious example of out governments disdain and arrogance against white men. Don’t count on white women to be able to take up the slack and support ourselves and our children when no white men have jobs anymore. The black/brown heavy company managers and human resources departments will not hire or promote us either. The idea seems to be to drive us out of the country. People who have no jobs, cannot get social services and no no means of leaving will finally stand up and riot.

    This country is heading in the direction of South Africa. Where the whites are increasing becoming the underclass. What is the reason that whites have become so apathy toward their own future? This country was founded and built by white brain power but it is slipping into a morass with no strong leadership. It has allowed itself to be beaten down by shouts of racism and robbed by racial shakedowns. The last strong fight against whites becoming a minority was pre-Brown v. Board of Education. Unfortunately, the fight was not well planned out and the white “liberal” traitors won, setting a course which this country and the rest of the Western Civilization presently finds itself. The present politicians have learned to keep quiet about racial issues which means running away from trying to keep this country white majority. Courageous leadership needs to be installed soon to save this country or it is doomed.

    Anonymous #2, be aware that diversity always means fewer whites. So it doesn’t matter if blacks are already overrepresented in an agency, diversity means that whatever white people are still there must be shunted aside and replaced with more blacks and Hispanics. A 100% black agency is maximally diverse.

    This is going to be a grade A clusterschtup. I work at a company that contracts with a government agency, and some of the “diverse” workforce there can barely speak complete sentences. There is just no way most of them could ever manage departments effectively. It will be a wholesale disaster in regards to management in the bureaucracy if people like that are moved up just because of their melanin content.

    I believe a big part of the problem for white people is a fear factor instilled from earliest childhood in people born in the last 35 or so years. Sensational media coverage of child abductions/murders changed child-rearing in this country. The freedom that boys, especially, had was replaced by scheduled playdates & scheduling every possible activity to avoid stranger kidnapping which wasn’t very probable to begin with. Further, the culture of total avoidance of risk as exemplified by car seats, bike helmets & organic diets, etc. helped to create a physically fearful, anxious cohort that seeks to fill its need for risk with alcohol. Courage is truly a cardinal virtue which parents must once again try to develop in the white middle class. Intelligence is not enough.

    I agree totally..What is it with some of these “White women”? Did they not have White fathers and mothers and grandparents, etc. Do they not have WHITE sons, nephews, cousins, etc? I have seen and heard far too many that really don’t give a rat’s behind when it comes to their own White race and it’s survival. Most are empty airheads and go by their phoney emotions.

    That is why I believe it is mainly those types of White women who are at fault for our demise. If White women were more WN, believe me, the White men would follow. The “hand that rocks the cradle” and all that stuff. There is absolutely nothing WORSE than a White man or woman who are race traitors in my book. Hope they get what is coming to them in the end.

    One of the unspoken reasons for black politicos like Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., denouncing movements that promote limited government (e.g., the Tea Party) is that they know all too well that the federal government now functions as a black full employment agency. To reduce the size of the federal work force thus effectively is to reduce the size of the black working population. The case for spending cuts becomes all the more compelling.

    Whites until now at least had a limited shot at career advancement in a federal agency. Now they might as well take an early retirement and become restaurant waiters or car wash attendants. It’s an honest living, whereas doing the bidding of domineering, corrupt and incompetent blacks is anything but that.

    We are NOT all created equal and lowering honest standards to make a race of people feel important is not the way to success.

    A competent black should have the same advantage as any other person BUT telling someone who can barely read or write that he is special and then making him a fireman for instance is pure insanity on our part.

    I know you are right. I’ve had similar experiences, in different places, even women who wouldn’t use my professional services simply because I am a man. I’ve seen women at the local community college frankly declare that men are second in line. What I have noticed is the incompetence quotients rising dramatically, the more women are in charge of things. I have made a few trips to the county sheriff’s office, and every time I see fat women in uniforms laughing it up, not even feeling it necessary to stop as I stand, alone at the desk waiting for assistance. The joke has to finish first. The entire system will collapse, and in fact is collapsing right now. It is just a slow motion event that allows most the perspective of insects that don’t see the larger picture.
