Police Warn of Teen Girls Committing Strong Arm Robberies

Police have issued a community alert on the Southwest Side warning residents of strong arm robberies committed by two 16-year-old girls.

{snip} A 15-year-old girl was approached and the teens grabbed a gold necklace from her.

In the second robbery, which happened in the 5500 block of South Mozart, a 15-year-old girl was robbed of a gold chain and a gold heart ring, police said.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic girls, both 16 years old.
