Police: North Texas Thief Caught In Waco
MyFoxDFW.com, August 7, 2006
A suspect wanted for two Grand Prairie crimes was caught on tape attacking a Waco liquor store owner, according to police.
The disturbing videotape shows a man who police identify as Tony Wayne Swinnie attacking 62-year-old Martha Jane Ezar with a full liquor bottle.
Ezar’s two grandchildren watched as the suspect jumped over the counter and took money from the register. Ezar is in fair condition at a Waco hospital.
Swinnie is now behind bars in McLennan County.
Swinnie is also wanted for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in Grand Prairie.
And Grand Prairie police want to question him about a third attack- — this one at a local McDonald’s.
