After the Fall

The Right’s fatal lack of seriousness.

The midterms will almost certainly be a historic defeat for the Trump Administration, but they don’t even have to be for there to be a huge consequences. A Democratic House will cripple the Administration with endless investigations. More importantly, the American Right, every faction of it, from the GOP, to MAGA, the Dissident Right, to most of the vanguard, is characterized by a fundamental lack of seriousness. Everyone is expecting the future to look like the past, and there’s an attitude of “we will get them next time.” Well, we won’t. Time has run out. Imagine you’re already in South Africa, and start acting accordingly.
