Mexican President ‘Indignant’ at U.S. Deportations

Julia Symmes Cobb, Reuters, February 27, 2014

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said he is “indignant” at the United States’ deportation of Mexican migrants and described U.S. lawmakers as demonstrating a “lack of conscience” in failing to pass immigration reform.

In a television interview aired late on Wednesday Pena Nieto said he and U.S. President Barack Obama discussed the issue during their meeting at a North American leaders’ summit held last week in Mexico.

{snip}

“Yes it makes me indignant, and it makes Mexicans indignant,” Pena Nieto said in the interview, when asked whether deportations angered him.

“There’s a lack of conscience, something which shouldn’t only alert and worry Mexicans, it should also worry the American government and they should take up the issue,” said Pena Nieto.

Pena Nieto added that he sees a willingness on the part of the Obama administration to change immigration laws, and that reform which provides a path to citizenship should “have the backing and aid of the various political forces” in the United States.

Mexican government officials last week criticized the U.S. Border Patrol for the use of deadly force in a confrontation in which a Mexican migrant was killed.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent shot the man near San Diego after being pelted with rocks while trying to apprehend a group of suspected illegal border crossers.

    What deportations?

  • dd121

Who is he to say? Mexico has some of the strictest immigration laws on the books. And they enforce theirs.

    • Spartacus

They know they already have enough mestizos, and don’t want more…

  • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

So I take it repatriations via the cannon method is out of the question?

  • Pro_Whitey

There was a day when we would respond to such insults with gunboats and troops, and we still should do so, and scrape this Mexican turd off of our shoes. In lieu of that, allow me on behalf of all right-thinking Americans invite the president to have sexual relations with himself. I will raise to him the middle fingers of dissent.

  • Who Me?

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto needs to try taking care of the chaos inside his own third-world country, and keep his nose out of ours. Although he does have one point; the U.S. does have to do something about our immigration laws and their enforcement. We need to put some teeth into the laws, enforce them strictly, deport every illegal border crosser we can find and catch, and back up our border patrol 100% when they do their job.

    • Grantland

“We need to put some teeth into the laws, enforce them strictly, deport every illegal border crosser we can find and catch, and back up our..”

“We” don’t have a say in the matter.

  • Truthseeker

Hmmm….if I didn’t know better I’d say that this Mexican president was either complicit in the Reconquista movement or else he thinks the U.S. is supposed to be a dumpster for Mexico’s undesirables. Just imagine how a real U.S. President would respond to such audacity!

He’s as clueless there as he is about everything!

You should be indignant that the country you’re president of is the s**t-hole that it is…

Mexico is an up and coming country of North America. According to one futurist in one hundred years, the capital of North America may be Mexico City.

      • Spartacus

Yeah, I’m sure it will be… After the US disappears of the face of the earth.

That’s absurd. Mexico City is at 7,400 feet elevation, so automobile pollution there is terrible (car and truck engines don’t run as efficiently at that altitude). The urban area already has a population of 21 million, and due to Lake Texcoco being an endorheic basin, the water quality is miserable – very saline. Because it is landlocked, there is also no convenient port for shipping merchandise.

      • Whitetrashgang

In a hundred years Oprah may become Mexico city, see how that works?

Question: If Mexicans are such great workers, why isn’t Mexico a boom economy?

Question: If Mexicans are such great workers, why isn’t Mexico fighting to keep them from leaving?

Question: If a booming economy depends on workers, why does Mexico allow them to leave?

    • Bossman

Mexico is a free country and its citizens are free to leave. They come to the USA because it is advantageous to do so. The exchange rate between the Mexican Peso and the U.S. Dollar is 6 to 1. A frugal Mexican working at a menial job can still save a lot.

      • Charles W.

It’s always advantageous for non-whites to live in white countries. That’s why back in sane times we actually had immigration laws.

If there were leaders in this country, they’d deport the illegals at the point of a gun. I no longer give a damn able playing nice. Forcibly deport them, their 75 IQ squat-monster girlfriends and their cholo ba**ards with them.

        • mobilebay

Real beauties aren’t they? Their country doesn’t want them. We don’t want them…maybe Canada will take them.

          • Bossman

From what I’ve read and heard, when Mexicans and other Latin Americans go to Canada, they become invisible. I’ve no idea what that really means. Do they get mistaken for Arabs, Pakistanis, Hindus, Gypsies, etc.?

          • mobilebay

Wouldn’t it be great if we could patent that? We’d have 11 million (ha) invisible illegals. No more benefits, jobs lost, neighborhoods destroyed, schools filled with their kids, subsidies for rent, food, etc. Let’s ask Canada how they do it.

          • bilderbuster

We could still hear their awful gibberish & smell their stench.

          • Cid Campeador

We can’t imagine how many Middle Eastern or Subcontinental Asian terrorists are being trained in Latin America (Venezuela) in combat techniques, learning Spanish and then going to Mexico and then over the border.

Usually. If you do not accept government compiled statistics there is no point in trying to have a reasoned debate with you.

    • dukem1

The answer to all three of your questions is the same…because they’re Mexicans!
My solution to all this is that the US should have a law that states that any foreign national found to be in our country without the proper documentation, etc. should be treated the same way an American would be treated in that persons country of origin…
Illegal Mexicans in the US should be treated the same way a US citizen in Mexico illegally would be treated…Russians in our country illegally should be treated however Russia treats Americans found to be there illegally…and so on and so on…
I’d think the Feds would go for this, if for no other reason than the fabulous amount of red tape it would create!

    • Nancy Thomas

If illegals are so good for the economy, why is California 23 BILLION dollars in debt?

That comment by Nieto is a punctuated continuum in the ongoing, quotidian war declarations by foreigners. We aren’t that far from the Texan oil fields being nationalized by Mexico.

Just a few more years of sedition, my friends.

Mexico has a world-class tourist economy, plenty of natural resources like gold, silver, oil, etc., it has a huge labor force, good ports for commerce and gets tons of aid from the US.

They should be perfectly capable of running their country in a responsible manner so that their population is not fleeing to the north. The problem with Mexico is that it is run by Mexicans.

In reality, this illegal immigrant exodus is exactly like the Cuban Mariel Boat Lift on steroids. Mexico is exporting its illiterates, peasants and criminals on a wholesale level and are indignant that we are returning a few.

  • me

The uneducated Mestizos that Nieto (Nothing) doesn’t want are being foisted on the USA….and these dumb breeders believe the crap that the Commies and the globalists spoon feed them.

    • dd121

We bought some of those lands and own the rest by right of conquest. There is nothing to apologize for.

    • kjh64

Right, the old “stolen land” farce. Mexico sold the land to the US except for Texas which as an independent country at the time, rebelled and broke away. Now that Whites came in and made a success of what was then a nearly emply wasteland, suddenly the Mexicans want “their land” back. Yes, it’s magical land. If the Mexicans just live on it, success will come because it’s “magical”.It has nothing to do with Whites.

      • mobilebay

The Mexicans don’t stay in school long enough to learn about the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, In which the US paid Mexico $15 million in exchange for the land they now believe is theirs.

      • http://www.amren.com/ Michael Christopher Scott

Correct: under the terms of the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hildago, we paid Mexico $15 million.

        • http://countenance.wordpress.com/ Question Diversity

Then five years later with the Gadsden Purchase, we straight up purchased land fair and square. So how do the Aztlan on the brain reconquista nuts reconcile this? We stole almost all of what is now the Southwest by winning the Mex-Am War and the subsequent Treaty of G-H, so we have to give it back to Mexico, but we get to keep the Gadsden Purchase?

  • WR_the_realist

This is all for show, because the Mexican president knows the U.S. media will lap it up.

There’s no way an illegal immigrant into Mexico would ever be given citizenship in that country.

  • borogirl54

Encouraging its poor and indigenous populations to cross the border illegally has been encouraged by Mexico so that it would not have make reforms in the poorest areas of the country. The GNP of the country goes up when illegal immigrants send remittances home to their families in Mexico so it is a win-win situation for Mexico.

  • So CAL Snowman

He’s indignant that Mexicans are not allowed to invade this country at will, and so are the Mexican people. Nice, I guess they have no problem with tens of millions of Whites flooding Mexico and demanding to live off the sweat of Mexican tax payers right? I think the Mexicans are more angry at the FACT that White people do not want to live anywhere near Mexicans. Mexicans are just like the blacks in that regard, they just cannot stand it that White people want nothing to do with them. Their poor little egos just can’t bear the thought that others think they are lesser people.

  • Sangraal

He’s basically admitting that his country is rubbish, his people don’t want to live there, and he doesn’t want them back. Go Meheeco.

  • JohnEngelman

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and other Mexicans in leadership positions ought to be trying to create a society and an economy in Mexico that is attractive enough to keep people from immigrating illegally to the United States.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

But they can’t. Mexico is the way it is because it is run by Mexicans.

      • bilderbuster

It would be run better if it was run by Whites but it would still suck because it’s populated by Mexicans.

  • Charles W.

Of course he’s “indignant,” Mexico (like much of Latin America and Asia) is a remittance economy based on its people working in white countries, often as ‘citizens’ of those white countries, and sending the money home to support their 27 relatives.

  • A Freespeechzone

Seems all the criticism comes from Mexico to the US. Does anyone have an address for a Mexican newspaper? the President’s address or email? Or any way for us to bury them with letters telling them how we really feel about the invasion? They have more nerve than sense.

    • Zaporizhian Sich

I detest Mexico with a fury as cold as the vacuum of space. If there ever was a nation where we would have every right to invade Mongol style, Mexico’s it. As in “crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentations of their women.” I personally think we should lay waste to it and leave it that way.

      • Nancy Thomas

Bravo, I agree. Their stupid arrogance infuriates me. We kicked their asses all the way to Mexico City, then the President told the army to stand down. We could have taken their entire country! Then we PAID them for the land in the SW, and they CASHED the check, yet I have to listen to mexican halfwits drone on and on about how I “stole their land.” It would be hard to find a dumber people on the whole face of this earth. They are profoundly stupid people and I wish they would all just go HOME. I can’t imagine ever behaving the way they do, not under any circumstance. They have neither true pride nor dignity. They are vicious beggars looking for a handout, as are ALL marxists.

Mexico has been at war with the USA for more than a century.
They should be very grateful we haven’t dropped the H-Bomb on Mexico City by now as punishment.

  • IstvanIN

The US should have invaded Mexico years ago instead of going after Spanish colonies like PR and the Philippines. We could have pushed the Mexicans south and taken much of their territory as ours. Land that would be contiguous with the lower 48. Land that we could have done a great deal with. Land that would have provided us with both additional mineral resources and additional farm land. We should have stayed out of WWI, which would have avoided WW2, we should have stayed out of Asia and left that to the Japanese and Europeans, should have stayed out of WW2 once that started, we didn’t need to goad the Japanese on. We should have stayed in our own hemisphere, protected on both sides by vast oceans, where could have easily provided for our own people. Can you imagine if the entire Northern Hemisphere were all or mostly White, with our traditional liberal Anglo-American culture, and defended that culture and people, how great our society would be? What we could have accomplished by not inviting the third world, invading the third world, and killing Europeans? Overwhelmingly self-sufficient in natural resources, agriculture and manufacturing? An example to the world how an advanced civilized society could be? Lost opportunities.

    • Puggg

If that would have happened, what is now the Mexico-Guatemala/Belize border would be the border between a white country and the Hispanics south of there, so that would be the border they’re all jumping over. And then they’d be complaining about how we stole Mexico.

      • IstvanIN

They could complain but if we protected our border vigorously and terminally, who cares?

    • Bossman

You need to do more reading of history books. The USA could’ve had all of Mexico. But they did not want the hassle of assimilating a very large Spanish-speaking population of Indians and Mestizos.
