California Safeway Store Doors Unlocked During Christmas . . . People Leave Cash

A man walked into a Safeway store on Christmas Day in Roseville, California and even though the store was closed and unsupervised, people were shopping inside the store. He called the police. The police found no looting, but small piles of cash left at the registers for purchased items.
Surveillance video showed the Safeway employees locked the main doors at both of the Safeway stores. But customers were able to push the doors open and get in, said Susan Houghton, Safeway spokeswoman. {snip}
