Youth for Western Civilization
Our mission
Youth for Western Civilization will educate, organize and train activists on campuses across the nation to create a subculture that will promote the survival of Western Civilization and pride in Western heritage. This movement is focused on the support of Western history, identity, high culture, and pride and opposition to radical multiculturalism, political correctness, racial preferences, mass immigration, and socialism.
What Is Youth for Western Civilization?
Youth for Western Civilization is the West’s right wing youth movement. This is an organization for students who believe Western Civilization is moving in the wrong direction and want to do something about it. This is for people who are proud to be members of the West and want to work in defense of their people, culture, and traditions.
This will include hosting speakers and debates, hosting and attending conferences, holding protests and educational events, producing publications, creating social events, and all other activities that will further the organization’s mission.
What We Want to Accomplish
We want a campus movement that will accomplish three things:
1. Inspire Western youth to organize on the basis of identity, with pride in their heritage and their history, and counter radical multiculturalism on campus.
2. Counter and ultimately defeat leftism on campus by pushing the activist agenda, changing college policies in a conservative or right wing direction, and restoring a curriculum that focuses on Western history, not political correctness.
3. Create a social movement on campus where a right wing subculture—similar to the left wing subculture that currently exists—will provide a healthy alternative to a poisonous and bigoted left wing campus climate.
Our long term strategy
Initially, we would to set up as many active campus chapters as possible that will host events such as speakers, debates, and protests.
In the medium term, we want these groups to take over student governments, defend against left wing organizations and create new right wing groups. We also want to change the social atmosphere of the school, with YWC becoming the focus of social life at the school as well as political activism.
In the long term, we want the majority of students to leave college more right wing than when they arrived. Eventually, we would like to start changing curriculums on campus to restore an emphasis on real education and classical learning, rather than trendy multiculturalism.

One thing I wish YWC would do is to recruit among young people not in college. (Yes, they do exist). If anything, that’s a more fertile field, because young people who for one reason or another couldn’t go to college and are already in the working world probably are up against racial minorities (and the more obnoxious kind, mind you) than college-aged whites. Therefore, they might understand the problem a little more implicitly.
I wonder how long it will be before the SPLC designates them a hate group?
Wonderful idea. At last someone has initiated a non-violent and reason-based movement to take back the campuses from politically correct radicalism. One obstacle will be the administrations of these institutions: as Jared Taylor has found out on many college campuses, conservative commentators, especially those with a racial agenda, are distinctly unwelcome. They are even banned by university authorities. To have a group that conservative, race realists can join and not feel intimidated by fellow students and faculty would be empowering. If this idea takes hold on a few campuses, it can then spread without the stigma of being a “white power” or provocative skin head organization. We shall see.

These young men and women seem to really have their acts together, particularly when it comes to what they call, “trendy multiculturalism.” Moreover, when they also target mass immigration and socialism, they do indicate a deeper understanding of the West’s critical problems and mortal threats, then do most “adults.” That would be particularly true, when compared to most of the perpetually adolescent geriatric hippies and Reds that are the current core of any modern American university faculty. On this score, they are on the vanguard of reactionary revolutionary politics in the USA; they are pretty much the anti: flower children, and tragically “hip” angst-Bolsheviks in toto.
I often have a bitter nostalgia for my own college days; for me, these were both rewarding and (all too regularly) painful times. The closest that I could come to an organization such as the Youth for Western Civilization, was the College Republicans. They were a decent bunch, but they also always seemed to miss the critical points about such things as, the budding “multiracial” issues of the day and so-called immigration (be it “legal” or illegal.)
Well, what is done is done and I wish these young people all the best!
And I feel certain the tolerant left will embrace the diversity of thought being presented and enthusiastically support their free speech rights. Or not.
The SPLC, ACLU and most likely Holder, will dismiss and try to discredit them as a hate group. If that fails to curtail their freedom of speech, then the government lap dogs of the MSM will take over. If that still doesn’t work, then Acorn thugs will move to silence them asap.

Good for the people who have started this organization! An organization like Youth For Western Civilization is long overdue in this country and the other “countries of the North.” I look forward to hearing much more from these idealistic young people (who says you have to be leftist to be “idealistic”?)
But I have a few cautions for them. Be prepared to be labeled “racist” and “xenophobic” by the hate-spewers of the Southern Poverty Leadership Conference. Be prepared to have your banner, displayed on the YWC website, labeled as similar to the Nazi swastika or the fascist symbol.
Be prepared, if you hold campus rallies, to have leftist goons show up and try to disrupt and destroy them — and be prepared to have college administrators do nothing to enforce your right to free cpeech. Be prepared to have the liberal press denounce you in the same terms as the SPLC (if they condescend to write anything on you at all).
Be prepared and vigilant for all these things. But may you also possess, we hope, a steely-eyed determination to be successful in your endeavors.
Most of the people who are going to call these “YWC” students every vile name in the book are going to be overwhelmingly white clueless drones who haven’t yet paid their own way.

These kids are really great and should be applauded, especially since they’re operating within a lion’s den almost every day of their lives.

Does anyone else have a strong opinion one way or another on the YWC symbol?
In any case, my very best wishes to these brave young people. Such a group at my old alma mater might have made my college days QUITE a bit different from what they were. Different and BETTER.
The SPCL, ACLU, ADL and other anti-white hate groups are probably already getting together and penning their “statements” to the colleges to make sure the YWC crashes and burns.

Recruit on-campus, meet off campus. Can’t stop friends from going to Starbucks, now can they? And if the university tries, they might just drive YWC underground…OOPS! They just created a clandestine National Front-type organization!
I hope these kids know they’re playing with fire. They’re facing expulsion, blacklisting, criminal charges, and physical attacks for the sake of ideology. Throwing away your future for the sake of carrying signs and shouting slogans is not a wise move.
Confessions of an Honest Black American
My distant cousins in African live in abject poverty, are surrounded by political corruption and exist in a perennial state of health crisis due to AIDS and other endemic diseases.
Yet here am I — as black as they — enjoying the comfort of my modest American home, the owner of two automobiles, and access to the most advanced health care system ever known.
Why the difference?
It can be summed in simple observation: My African kin are the living legacy of our African heritage. I, on the other hand, am the beneficiary of Western European culture.
Granted, that observation smacks of racial betrayal. But it is also a matter of reality. White people, once free from the medieval madness of feudalism, applied themselves to industry and, having learned to bridal social injustice, blessed their cultures – and the rest of the world – with standards of living that would have been the envy of the greatest emperors of antiquity.
It was a matter of fate that my ancestors were snatched from their African village by slave traders. Am I glad they suffered the pain and indignities of slavery? Of course not. But I am fortunate. And I am grateful that they got on that boat!
There are some who call me a fool for ignoring the lingering injustice that our African American community endures. For every dollar earned by white families, they say, we earn 62 cents. Indeed, statistics are cold calculators that cannot be ignored. $31,969 was the medium income for black families in 2008. White families earned more — much more — $50,673!
Families living in Africa, however earned a mere $315.
I ask my black American friends: Where would you rather be? In America earning 62 percent compared to white Americans? Or in Africa, earning 1 percent compared to black Americans?
Do you not understand that our African cousins would need to work 100 years to earn what we earn in one year?
And do I dare mention the Reverend Jeremiah Wright? Shall I mention that, after a career of denouncing our white countrymen, Rev. Wright retired in a white community in a $1.6 million home? Did you know that the annual wages of 5,000 Africans would hardly cover the cost?
No, I am not betraying my race; I am stating my case. The descendants of American slaves are the blessed beneficiaries of Western culture. White people gave us flight, electricity and computers. It was their culture that reached the moon, discovered and unraveled the mysteries of DNA, and probed the depths of human anatomy. They attached contraptions on their buggies and, a generation later, drove the world along Interstate highways. They replaced famine with food so abundant that obesity has become our great health concern. They connected us with terminals for traveling through air at 500 miles per hour and terminals for traveling through cyberspace at the speed of light. We gave them the Motown sound. They gave us the technology to allow that sound to be recorded and heard around the world.
Lecture me on the evils of the white devils if you will. And, for the most part, I will agree. But I will do so here, in America, not Africa. And I will remind you that in America white people elect black leaders. In Africa black people depose white leaders. And for that, their cultures suffer.
How foolish we are in own blind racist rage to destroy the western culture that enriches every aspect of our lives. How foolish to amuses ourselves with grand delusions when, in reality, we are merely regressing to the pathetic lives of our ancient culture.
Western culture is rapidly eroding. When it is gone, where will we go? Back to Africa? Back to bathing our babies in cow urine? Back to subsistence living in grass huts? Back to the witch doctors and grotesque lip plates? Back to the bloated bellies of emaciated children? Back to tribal wars and brutal chieftains? Back to ignorance and high mortality? Do we really want to go back to that Africa?
Yes, I am grateful my ancestors got on that boat. And you should be grateful, too — while it lasts.

I say “God bless them” I applaude their courage and wish them all the success in the world! Like I always say….”Teach your children well”. It seems that these young folks were “taught” well. I call on everyone to mail them and give them our support and encouragement.

According to the majority of “Liberals” who, ostensibly, are sooooo concerned with preserving all cultures and civilizations, any meaningful attempt to defend the American culture and/or Western civilization amounts to a crime against humanity.

I certainly hope this ‘movement’ signals a new wave of thinking and denial of the nonsense promulgated by liberals and their third-world friends. As a White American, I am ‘fed up’ with the ridiculous claims only Blacks can be victims of race or hate crimes. That only Blacks and other minorities deserve credit for creating or inventing the many benefits, technological, medical, scientific and other… that make today’s civilization possible.
Liberals are in a state of denial. Witness those utterly ludicrous claims of futuristic weapons invented by primitive Chinese… as seen on History Channel. The equally absurd nonsense that Africans invented so much… the only ‘inventions’ to be found in those claims being the claims themselves. I know Blacks will have hissy fits over this, but even some American Indians — the Aztecs, Mayans, Incas in Central America — were figuratively speaking miles advanced from Africans around 1492.
Those ‘primitive’ Indians having been able to build substantial structures and buildings of stone. Had a form of written language. Had a working knowledge of mathematics, a strong understanding of astronomy and time-keeping based on astronomical knowledge. Even rudimentary medical knowledge and skills. Primitive as those Indian cultures compared to Europe of 1492, they were nevertheless, thousands of years more advanced than Black Africans.
Good for them, although, Morris Sleaze and the SPLC will have them on a hate list with all the rest of us white folks. Anybody ever check to see where Sleaze and the SPLC get their funding?
I don’t hold out much hope for the success of this group, although I wish them the very best. What I think will happen and what they must guard for, is the Universities “Rules”. Sure, they will be able to have a life on campus and might even do so without much harassment, but one thing will be certain ,the Universities will set the framework, the “terms of the debate.” They always do, and this takes the real message out of most “controversial” groups and in the end sidelines them to a position of irrelevance.

Attitudes like this are what’s wrong with America. Yes, the political orthodoxy will pray for these kids to fail, but I don’t see what they could possibly face “expulsion” much less “criminal charges” for. Any attempt to silence this group will just make them stronger and show the blatant hypocrisy that exists on college campuses. If they had a group like this at my college - Ole Miss - back when I was in school a few years ago, they would have had hundreds of members.
I admire these kids courage also and I wish them all the best and there is nothing wrong with what they are doing (again just swap the races to see the hypocrisy).

I accept that some of my ideas will be ‘wrong’, and I appreciate being corrected and growing in my understanding in whatever the issue is at hand.

Your observations about Africa and America are poignant and true. It’s shameful that in this day and age it’s considered taboo to celebrate Western civilization.
Perhaps like many Black men I’ve talked to, you’ve disapprovingly noticed the “ghettofication” of mainstream American culture. The glorification of drugs, promiscuity, materialism, and “thug life” is affecting people of all racial and economic backgrounds.
At the same time, reasoned intellectual debate and prudent policymaking have been replaced in the political arena by identity politics and interest-group pandering. Our liberal-run education system glorifies victimhood, entitlement, and hedonism while villifying Western values.
As Whites in Europe and the USA have gradually decreased birth rates to sustainable levels, national minorities and people living in the third world are still breeding exponentially even in the face of poverty, famine, and disease.
Normally I wouldn’t approve of yet another “identity group”. Imagine how many more Black and Mestizo scientists and doctors there would be if they were diverted towards Math and Science clubs rather than the Black Student Association or the Hispanic Heritage Club. Even better, imagine how many fewer “civil rights” scam-artists there would be! But if something isn’t done to defeat this smear campaign against Western cultures and reverse the overt contempt for our globe-straddling ancestors, our entire species might find itself dancing and fighting into a shallow grave in short order.

Expulsion for “hate speech” is becoming more and more common, and the rules defining “hate speech” are becoming more and more flexible. With every campus having a “diversity” department with nothing to do but ferret out and extinguish groups like these, expect some serious strongarm tactics if this group gets off the ground.

Two points: 1. The best way for white youth to throw away their future is to do nothing, to remain unorganized and racially unconscious. 2. I don’t believe the students are doing it for the sake of ideology alone. They are countering the hypocricy, duplicity, unequal treatment, and plain criminality, they perceive being committed against them, because of their race. Historically,Universities were places that freely allowed different ideologies to be expressed without punishment. The kind of censorship going on in todays Unversities is abominable.
I’m more than a little disappointed since the name of their organization is “Western” instead of white. Again, I’m sure they have the best of intentions but our/their enemies will hate them still even though they couch their efforts and proclamations in race neutral language.
William Buckley style conservatism lacks appeal and was always a bit too intellectually stuffy and it seems this movement is based partly on his ideas. Moreover it has utterly failed to advance the cause of white people.
Unless this organization takes on a white nationalist message and character it’s hard to to get excited or see how they will succeed where other pro-Western, but race neutral organizations have failed.
