Report from Australia

Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, September 21, 2012

I was invited to give a talk in Sydney by an Australian  group called Klub Nation that opposes Third-World immigration to their country. On September 15, I spoke for about 40 minutes on the importance of racial consciousness and the need to control immigration. The talk was warmly received, and a very well informed audience kept me on my feet for another 40 minutes of questions.

Jared Taylor speaking in Sydney.

After I spoke, Professor Drew Fraser gave a talk on the importance of WASP consciousness, and afterwards he and I debated whether it made sense to appeal specifically to American WASPs. Prof. Fraser argued that ethnic consciousness is more powerful than racial consciousness and would be a better way to mobilize people. I argued that at least in the United States, appealing to WASPs would be divisive, and that when white Americans have a group consciousness that goes beyond food and holidays to include a political dimension, it is racial rather than ethnic.

This was my first visit to Australia, so I arrived a few days early to poke around. There is much to see in and around Sydney.

I stayed in Parramatta, which is a suburb to the west of Sydney that has become the home of many of the “new Australians” who are changing the face of the country. There is a train that runs through Parramatta into Sydney, and I was surprised to be one of just a handful of whites on board. The rest were Orientals, Middle-Easterners, dark-skinned Indians, and a sprinkling of Africans. It is a different racial mix from that of the United States, and it was not always easy to guess the origins of my fellow passengers. Many spoke languages I did not recognize.

Australia does not keep a racial count of its population, so there are no official figures on the percentage of non-whites, but estimates put them at 15 to 20 percent. Most live in big cities such as Melbourne and Sydney, while the back country is still overwhelmingly white. I cannot guess the non-white population of Sydney, but they are certainly everywhere you look.

Many of the people a tourist would deal with, such as train-ticket sellers, shop keepers, and counter clerks are “new Australians” from Asia and the Middle East. They tend to have the same affectless, minimalist view of customer service that their counterparts have in the United States. Museums and historical sites, however, were staffed by white Australians who were uniformly polite and agreeable.

Australia was first settled in 1788, so there are no buildings older than that, but early convict barracks, government buildings, and even a few early 19th-century private houses are carefully maintained and open to visitors. Parramatta was one of the first settlements, because the land in Sydney was salty and infertile. Early buildings there are well maintained, and offer excellent guided tours.

John Macarthur’s house in Parramatta, begun in 1793.

Although Parramatta must be one of the most heavily non-white cites in Australia, the historical preservation effort seems to be entirely white. I did not see a single “new Australian” among the staff, guides, or visitors. It is like visiting the Smithsonian museums in Washington, DC: diversity outside, white visitors inside.

In Sydney, I stopped by the Parliament House, where the state government of New South Wales meets. The upper house was in session, and from the gallery I watched members of the opposition questioning ministers. There is not much worry about security: From the gallery I could have walked right onto the floor of the chamber. I had gone through a security check to get into the building, but when I left the gallery I went out to the street through an unguarded gate. It is pleasant to be in a country that trusts its people.

Parliament House has an exhibition room. At the time of my visit, there was a display called “In Living Memory” about the activities of the now defunct Aborigines Welfare Board of New South Wales. The exhibit was a breast-beating portrayal of the early 20th century program of taking aboriginal children—many of them part white—out of the bush, and putting them in boarding schools. The plan was to give them Anglo-Australian training so they could get jobs in the modern economy, but the program is now reviled as cultural genocide. The captions of the photographs contained such phrases as “children smile grimly as . . . .”

It is my impression that official Australian remorse about aborigines may be even more heavy-handed than American remorse for slavery or dispossession of the Indians. Public buildings often have Aborigine-motif decorations. A restaurant in the Sydney Opera Hall, for example, has a sculpture of didgeridoos, an aboriginal musical instrument (see one played here). Walkways in Parramatta are decorated with aboriginal-style drawings.

Sculpture of didgeridoos in a Sydney restaurant.

The Australian Museum in Sydney has a wing devoted to Aboriginal artifacts, but they are unimpressive. There are boomerangs and “message sticks” (sticks with grooves and notches carved on them to convey messages), and kangaroo-skin cloaks, but not much else. As I walked through the museum, I caught sight of some very striking masks and for a moment thought that Aborigines must have a real creative streak after all. The masks turned out to be from New Guinea.

More impressive to me than the Aboriginal exhibit was a display of all the Australian sea creatures that can kill you: not just sharks, but box jellyfish, lion fish, blue-ringed octopi, cone shells, and stone fish.

Did I see any aboriginals while I was in Sydney? I don’t know. Australia seems to follow the one-drop rule, and many people who look white claim to be aboriginal because of the benefits and social cachet. Aboriginal traits are generally recessive, so even a first-generation cross between a pure-blood aborigine and a white could be hard for an outsider to place.

Famous Aboriginal tennis player, Evonne Goolagong.

On the Friday evening before my talk, Prof. Fraser and his wife Kathe took me to see the second night of a new play called Australia Day. The title comes from Australia’s annual celebration of the arrival of the first convict fleet in 1788 and is a national holiday. The play, written by the well known political satirist Jonathan Biggins, is set in a small Australian town, where the town council is planning this year’s celebration.

Prof. Fraser warned me to expect an evening of unrelieved multi-culti, but we were pleasantly surprised. The “bigot” who yearns for the days before Third-World immigration is likeable and has clever lines. His foil is a Green Party town councilor who mouths platitudes, and is exposed in the end as a scheming, dishonest politician, like all the rest. There are some forthright arguments against immigration, though the playwright did the safe thing and put them into the mouth of an Australian-born Oriental. In all, it was a clever, entertaining performance, and I was sorry when it ended. I did not notice a single non-white face in an audience that must have numbered more than 600.

Perhaps the most impressive and moving place I visited was the ANZAC memorial in Hyde Park in Sydney. It was dedicated in 1934 to the people of New South Wales who served in The Great War. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps, which was the name of the force that served in Europe, and even individual soldiers are referred to as Anzacs. In later years, the memorial has been rededicated to all Australians who served their country.

The ANZAC Memorial, Sydney.

There is a spacious, dignified rotunda inside, with 120,000 gold stars embedded on the underside of the dome—one star each for the men and women of New South Wales who rallied to the flag during The Great War. At the center of the memorial is a very striking statue of women carrying a dead soldier who has come home, like the Spartan, on his shield.

Like the Spartan.

There are small displays inside the memorial commemorating the major wars Australia has fought. The first engagement of Australian troops outside their country was during the Boer War in South Africa. Since then, whenever Great Britain was at war, Australia loyally fought for the mother country. The very day after Britain declared war on the Kaiser, Australian Prime Minister Joseph Cook declared that “when the Empire is at war, so is Australia.” The United States waited three years before going to war.

Likewise, during the Second World War, the United States did not join the fight until it was attacked, but Australia immediately declared war. As Prime Minister Robert Menzies explained, “Britain is at war; therefore Australia is at war.”

Australians had no quarrel with Boers or Germans, and their country had no vital interests at stake (the Japanese bombed Darwin during the Second World War, but Australia was already a combatant). Australians rallied to Britain because they were overwhelmingly of British stock and considered themselves the same people. If Britons were dying Australians would die beside them.

I visited the ANZAC memorial on a sunny day, and Hyde Park was full of visitors. There were hundreds of “new Australians” outside the memorial, but not one inside. The call of the mother country no doubt means nothing to them.

I read a history of Australia before I went to Sydney, a book called Australia by a British author named Frank Welsh. I was curious to see how he would treat the “White Australia Policy” that restricted immigration to whites, and was not fully dismantled until the 1970s. He described it as “bigoted” and “damaging,” but never explained why it was wrong. No doubt, in these enlightened times, no one needs to be told why it is wrong for a nation built by whites to stay white.

But Mr. Welsh’s praise for the consequences of massive non-white immigration is a miracle of stupidity: “From being a colonial backwater searching for an identity, Australia has become a multi-cultural society.”

If men and women who were proud subjects of the British crown really had been “searching for an identity” how could they possibly have found one by importing millions of foreigners who have nothing in common with the founding stock? This is the foolishness that now passes for wisdom.

A minority of Anglo-Australians fully understand the terrible mistake their country made when it abolished the “White Australia Policy.” They are working hard to preserve the nation of their ancestors and they deserve our full support.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to have met thousands of Australians in my years in the tourism business. In my opinion, they embody many of the admirable characteristics that Americans like to see in themselves better than Americans do – toughness, a can-do attitude, self-reliance and a generally pleasant nature among other things. Much like the Canadians & Americans, they are descended from people who established civilization where there was none before and built a mighty nation out of nothing – and not just across the ocean, but on the other side of the world from their cultural homeland. I mention this just as a reminder to anyone who wants to accuse them of being weak or ignorant in the fight against the third world sunami – if anyone in the Anglosphere will stand up first, it will be the Australians.

      We remind:

The wisdom is just enforced multicult dogma and serves the same role, but in an opposite message, as the Five Minutes of Hate in Orwell’s 1984.

Our 2012 regime tells you what you are suppose accept as wisdom, no matter how illogical or self abnegating it is.

Then, if you question it or object to its toxicity, they’ve just found their next Winston Smith to torture in a FEMA-DOJ Auschwitz camp, and you’ll comes out raving about how you are now evolved and wonderfully emancipated from your former hateful, bigoted, and racist attitudes about Diversity’s transformational role in enriching our lives with its vibrancy.

Winston came out of his reverie at the FEMA-DOJ diverse, green, sustainable, transformed, enriched and vibrant.

A most informative account. One observation in reference to:

“Perhaps the most impressive and moving place I visited was the ANZAC memorial in Hyde Park in Sydney. It was dedicated in 1934 to the people of New South Wales who served in The Great War.”

    ====

The ANZACS are best known for their bravery in the doomed 1915 Gallipoli campaign, an attempt to knock German ally Turkey out of the war early.  This provides me with the opportunity to express the opinion that The Great War, World War I, was the seminal event of modern history.  The Second World War was but a continuation.   It deserves an in-depth look.

By a wide margin, British documentary THE FIRST WORLD WAR, based on the book by Professor Hew Strachan, is the best available.  Watch it.  Cover and description on Amazon.com:

What’s the relevance for Amreners? Consider this excerpt from Episode I: To Arms:

      He nailed it with this:

He described it as “bigoted” and “damaging,” but never explained why it was wrong. No doubt, in these enlightened times, no one needs to be told why it is wrong for a nation built by whites to stay white.

      We follow up:

Whenever we encounter the enforced attitudes that always denigrate White achievement with the dogmatic platitudes of Race, Class, and Gender studies, we should ask, “What do you mean by that?”

      Make them explain themselves.

When you tour a national cemetery that was once had a Whites Only section, and the tour guide says, “Sadly, the sections were segregated,” you should ask, “Why did you say that? What did you mean by ‘sadly’? Were the Whites sad they didn’t have blacks buried next to them, or were the blacks sad? Who exactly was sad? ”

The MSM mentality of just telling us what our attitudes are supposed to be, i.e. Whiteness Always Bad and Blackness Always Sacred, is not unassailable…

But we know what would happen. The tour guide would just roll his eyes and say, “Everybody knows it was sad,” and then look around for supporting expressions from the group, which would be universal.  If you kept talking then, you’d become the scapegoat for the other Whites who would gang up on the “racist” and prove their goodness by “altruistically punishing” your badness.

Much love to my Australian brothers and sisters. Canada also had restrictive immigration policies until around the 1970’s. It saddens me to see the state of our great cities like Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto. I’m sure that Australians feel the same way about Sydney and Melbourne, amongst others.

  • Danimalius

An illuminating article, and it’s motivating to hear of Jared Taylor’s recent international travels not only to France but now to Australia.

One small criticism though, the early-twentieth-century war in South Africa is referred to here as the “Boor War”, when it should be the “Boer War.” A boor is a rude or insensitive person according to Merriam-Webster, and I’m sure that’s not what you intended to mean.

    We say:

Sadly, that’s not where were are headed. Instead of future museum pictures of depressed, demoralized, diseased Whites who suffered through the genocide of the SPLC’s Teaching Tolerance, the pictures will be of smiling, beautiful Whites who have one or two Diversity mixed in to keep them accountable to anti racism rules.

The captions will read “Heroes of a Changing Nation: Acknowledged and UnDid their UnFair White Privilege and helped build a safer, better, more colorful America for all”.

The J-Words at SPLC say they HATE BOUNDRIES, then why don’t they add segregated J-word private academies to their Hate Watch list?

The J-Words at SPLC say they HATE BOUNDRIES, then why don’t they add
segregated J-word private academies to their Hate Watch list?

Because the grandchildren of well to do J-words that write big checks to SPLC go to said J-word private academies.  The most criticism the SPLC has ever heaped on the J-word community is the Irv Rubin and JDL types, but only mildly and almost perfunctory.

At the moment, all we can do is keep posting White Truth online and hope that suffering White students will “accidentally” find us and read that one thing, that “virulent prejudice,” that sets them free and tells them that they aren’t alone and aren’t crazy for hating Tolerance, Inclusion, and Diverstity.

Our days of hope are limited, because those who control online access WILL NOT forever tolerate the inclusion of our genuinely diverse opionions on the “public utility” Internet.

If you have work to do on behalf of White Humanity, you better do it NOW.

The day Jared Taylor was in Australia, the Australian government said they would deport foreign Muslim rioters.  Maybe it was just a coincidence, but I hope not.

    • anonymous_amren

Yes, I’m disappointed Jared Taylor didn’t mention that. There were big Muslim riots in the same city on the same day, and Jared Taylor didn’t even mention them. Australia certainly noticed them though.

While appealing to ethnicity may work in Australia and Europe I do not believe that would be even remotely useful in America. Yes it would be divisive but even more than that is the fact that most white Americans are now a mixture of European ethnicities. Which one would they identify with?

The largest ethnicity in America is still German at 49.8 million followed by Irish, 35.8 million; Mexican, 31.8 million; English, 27.4 million; and Italian, 17.6 million, according to U.S. Census data. Due to our immigration policy, designed to replace white Americans, non-white Hispanics will become the largest ethnicity within a decade or so.

In any case, the best and most powerful appeal to whites in America would be a racial appeal.

Australia is a beautiful country. I was struck by how clean and orderly the major cities were when I was there.

    • Eagle_Eyed

With regard to country of origin, many people who have English ancestry don’t list it, probably because there is still a general sense that people of English stock don’t have any  unique ethnicity–the ethnics are only people with a different family origin like Italian or Polish.  So someone with an English mother but Italian father would more than likely claim his ancestry as “Italian” and not “English.”

Furthermore, the vast vast majority of white Americans are of more than one ancestry.  While I have an English surname, I can trace back German, Scandinavian, French, Irish, and even Cherokee in my blood lines as well.  If asked what my “ethnicity” was, I’d probably roll my eyes.  For this reason, AmRen would be foolish to focus on ethnicity instead of race.

Culturally, however, the US is still predominately a WASP culture.  Our language, imperial measurement system, common law, majority-protestantism, and innovative capitalist mentality (to some degree) have much more in common with British, Australian, and Canadian culture than with Continental European culture.  As cultural as well as racial conservatives, we shouldn’t lose sight that while we wish well for our European cousins, we as Americans often have different values and desires for our people than do Continentals.

      • http://countenance.wordpress.com/ Question Diversity

German > Czech > English > Italian in that order is most of me, with a little bit of Irish, Polish, Russian and Jewish.  White nationalism in the United States cannot take on an ethnic tinge, while in what used to be European ethnostates, it can and should.
That said, something that “looks like America” will look mostly like England and Germany.

        • Athling

On my mother’s side there is English and German. My father’s side is Scottish and French.

I favor a racial unity among white people no matter what their ethnicity. I am just as concerned for Australians as I am for the French and the West in general. Caucasians are my people, in a manner of speaking.

    • TeutonicKnight67

I celebrate my whiteness by wallowing in ethnicity. Being of both Irish and German stock, I feel equally at home at an Irish Feis as I do at an Oktoberfest. Both venues are sure to be devoid of diversity. I even enjoy going to other ethnic celebrations for the same reason. Here in America, the more specifically “ethnic” the white celebration is, the less likely it is to be infected with Bantu and LaRaza.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/MXTYFQZUWU2C7Q6WAHYPNNHCNU David Brims

When I first saw Jared Taylor on YouTube ( he was on was the Phil Donohue show ) he  looked like the epitome of a WASP. He wouldn’t look out of place in those 19th century paintings of the Founding Fathers. Sadly he’s a vanishing breed.

We’re very lucky to be living in these times, we’re  actually witnessing history in the making. The collapse of Europe over run by Africans and muslims. This must have been what it was like when Ancient Romans looked on in bewilderment and despair at the decline and fall of their Empire over run by barbarians.

Australian Prime Minister Stanley Bruce was a supporter of the White Australia Policy, and made it an issue in his campaign for the 1925 Australian Federal election.

“ It is necessary that we should determine what are the ideals towards which every Australian would desire to strive. I think those ideals might well be stated as being to secure our national safety, and to ensure the maintenance of our White Australia Policy to continue as an integral portion of the British Empire. We intend to keep this country White and not allow its peoples to be faced with the problems that at present are practically insoluble in many parts of the world.”

If it was correct in 1925 why is it not correct in 2012 ?

  • Tim_in_Indiana

An interesting report. Just one quibble: A few teimes Mr Taylor used the tern “WASP” to refer to whites, a term I don’t recall him using before. Is this the way whites should refer to themselves? It seems like this is a term most often used to trivialize the white race. I believe the term was coined by a college professor, (most likely a liberal one).

  • http://countenance.wordpress.com/ Question Diversity

I don’t think WASP ethnocentrism would be a good proxy for race even in Australia, because most Australian whites are either English or Irish in ethnicity, almost evenly split between the two.  In a very distant third place are Germans, but only a few percent, and from what I understand, mainly centered around Adelaide.  The reason for that small percentage is that Britain accepted a lot of German refugees from the Thirty Years War, and re-settled them to Australia when they themselves settled it.  Incidentally, some of those Germans were also re-settled to the British colonies on the North American continent.

  • ncpride

Like all White countries, ‘we the people’ were never consulted nor asked about massive immigration, and even now when it is clear that the majority object, our government ignore our wishes and demands. Your question should be……What is wrong with the White, traitorous ruling elite that is our governments, and why they are doing this to us, and to whose benefit?

  • Michellesmith

I hate when they say “Multicultural” what they mean in multiracial. Europe has always been multicultural. We didn’t need tens of thousands of non-Whites. Same with Australia and America.  We are not one race of identical people and cultures.

  • curri

White Americans (or European-Americans) *are* an ethnicity.  The reason they are not seen as such is that those who have controlled the culture since the late 1960s have actively attacked the idea and there has been very little push-back by White Americans.  Many of the latter instead chose to emphasize tenuous links to ancestral homelands of which they knew virtually nothing.  Think of the hilarious Sopranos episode in which Tony and the gang go  “home” to Naples.   But Tony and the crew were way ahead of most European-Americans who wouldn’t even  be able to locate their long-forgotten relations in Europe without the help of a private detective.

BTW, notice that no one any longer denies the existence of a Palestinian ethnicity.

  • JohnEngelman

Jared Taylor dislikes the increasingly multi cultural and multi racial nature of the Australian population. He expects his readers to share his dislike.

Nevertheless, many people, and this would seem to include most Australians, like the sight and sound of other languages. They enjoy ethnic restaurants and festivals. They like having friends and co-workers of other backgrounds and from other countries.

Immigration can increase unemployment, even if all of the immigrants are blond haired, blue eyed Nordics. Nevertheless, the unemployment rate in Australia was 5.2 percent in 2010. That declined to 5.1 percent the next year.

    https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/as.html

The immigration of third world peoples can raise a country’s crime rate. Nevertheless, Australia has one of the lowest murder rates in the world.

Jared Taylor’s apprehensions may be prophetic. Enoch Powell’s were. Right now Australia seems to be doing a lot of things well.

Really? I’ve read and watched a lot of youtube videos about Aussies fed up with it.

Where is your data on how much Aussies like all this immigration?

I can appreciate people and food of all kinds, but yeah, that’s different from overwhelming society with unending cultural change.

      • JohnEngelman

Do you have a poll on Australian attitudes toward immigration? If you do post it. If most Australians opposed immigration there would be a political backlash against it, and laws would be passed to restrict it.

According to a Gallup Poll released June 7019, 2012 in the United States only 35 percent  of Americans want immigration decreased. That is far too few to stop the influx. 21 percent want immigration increased, and 42 percent are content with the present amount.

      The standard “ethnic restaurants” argument…..

For the 1,000th time – The US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ and Europe could easily enjoy any cuisine without having to import 1,000,000 of the cook’s cousins.

        Or even the cook.

    • 5n4k33y3s

I think Jared Taylor comes off a bit stingy about Australia in this article. It doesn’t erally bother me when I realize how the opinion leaders of other races are no less stingy and considerably more xenophobic and hostile.

The treatment of the Vietnamese minority students by the blacks in the Philadelphia school was atrocious. Ultimately, the new principal (also a black), dispersed the Vietnamese so they couldn’t gather on their own floor. This has the effect of diminishing the strength of their solidarity.

And yet the blacks in America and South Africa are considered to be above reproach, and they’re even strutting around Europe, while henpecked, European men, brow-beaten by decades of feminism are living on the margins of their own society. This is especially true in the UK.

The greater concern is Europe, not Australia. Whites have spread ourselves thin around the world, and we’ve decimated our own population in our ancestral homelands with industrialized war, the likes of which had never been seen before. And now most whites wear the albatross of Feminism, and colonial guilt mentality.

So even though I find Jared Taylor a bit stingy in this instance, God bless him for standing up for white people for so long, even when white solidarity was at the nadir of unpopularity.

  • IstvanIN

A white person can learn to cook foreign food.  You do not need the foreigners to displace you to get Thai food.  You can get the total Thai experience by visiting Thailand.  They would love the business and you would not ruin your own country.

PS: I am only using Thai as an example.

“I am an early baby boomer, and virtually all of my cohorts who grew up when I did bemoan with nostalgia and sadness what was and what will never be again.” I disagree, by reestablishing white rule and some forms of segregation, white communities can thrive again. That is possible, because most whites want their countries back. I don’t believe this is such a radical idea. It is simply nature reestablishing equilibrium.

Mr. Taylor went to Austrailia and talks about endings, the past, decay. It seems that is something I find myself doing every day. I’m really tired of it. Just yesterday, the space shuttle Endeavor flew over my home in Los Angeles. The pilot of the 747 it was riding on made sure to bank and turn over nearby cities in what was called a “victory lap” on its way to being moth-balled in a Southern California museum.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/21/us-space-shuttle-idUSBRE88F0C520120921

This is what mexican mayor of Los Angeles, Tony Vilar had to say about it:

“Let me be the first to say, welcome to Los Angeles, Endeavour,” Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said during a ceremony on the tarmac.

My friends at work all ran outside when they heard the shuttle overhead. People waited outside for an hour to see it. I stayed inside, and actually went downstairs to do some work. I was disgusted.

We get a black president, and within a few short years, the space program comes to an end. They parade the shuttle around one last time for what? Why get excited over watching something beautiful die?

We should be on Mars by now, we should be dreaming about the stars.

At work, once the shuttle had passed by, and my coworkers had gone back to their tasks, I spoke to a mexican lady who works with me. She was saying how excited she was to se the shuttle, and I replied that I hoped something better would follow it- something more impressive. She replied , and I am going to do this verbatim– she replied:

“We’re broke. I think it’s important to study the e-space, though. I hope they keep doing that.”

To a mexican or a black, exploring/conquering space means nothing. You might as well read poetry to your cat. They will just stare at you with a blank gaze. I’m sure I do the same thing to them when they talk about their sports teams, and their mexican holidays. I have no interest.

I suppose it comes down to this: White men are like a fleet of ships. What a gorgeous and terrifying fleet we are. But we are surrounded and encumbered  by what amounts to haitians floating in tires, and we have to shut off our engines and drift along with them, so that we all stay together. One big stagnant morass.  The White Man’s burden- our anchor. I am tired of endings.

Well, I’m glad you’re not in Sydney anymore. You have been thoroughly compromised by exposure to multicultural brainwashing.

Aborigines are VERY violent. And that includes half and quarter Aborigines. They commit about 100-200 times as much crime as white Australians (honest estimate based on crime statistics), and that is mostly violent crime. If you see any Aborigines, the best advice is to stay far away from them. They are not as smart or civilised as black people, and a lot less cheerful and a lot less friendly.

  • anonymous_amren

Closer mostly in terms of junk DNA though, not in terms of actual traits. Aborigines evolved many similar traits to black people, because they adapted to similar environments.

But one good trait Aborigines share with white people is the ability to feel bad about themselves. Black people believe they are God’s gift to the world, even when all the evidence suggests otherwise. But Aborigines can see what failures they are, and will get depressed, drink themselves to death, or kill themselves. Not a sensible or useful reaction, but it’s more understandable to white people.

Prof. Fraser was the first time I heard anyone mention that Africans had an IQ two standard deviations below the mean. I’d always thought that they had average IQs of 100, just like everyone else.

When I heard he’d said that, I laughed at Prof. Fraser and called him an idiot, and thought he clearly didn’t know the first thing about statistics or he’d realise how absurdly large a difference of 2 standard deviations would be! What a ridiculous suggestion, that would mean half the population were clinically retarded, I thought.

Of course, he was right, and half the population of Africa ARE retarded. And that’s exactly how they behave. But I didn’t realise that until much later when I accidentally checked out the scientific literature on the subject.

Some things in this article need clearing up…

Firstly, Australia has two separate groups of indigenous people: Aborigines, and Torres Strait Islanders (from north of Queensland). Torres Strait Islanders are your typical third-worlders. In other words, they are creative geniuses compared to Aborigines, and far more civilised.

Aborigines are extremely dangerous. Far more so than black people. When African immigrants are settled in remote Australian towns like Alice Springs, it is a pleasant change for the white people who live there, and good to have some more civilised people around to outweigh the Aborigines! I’d estimate Aborigines are an order of magnitude worse than black people, on average. That’s not an exageration.

People who are half Aboriginal or quarter Aboriginal are still very dangerous. Some people say a lot more dangerous, since they have some white abilities and motivation but the same level of violence and criminality.

No white Australian wants to be around actual Aborigines, but they are comfortable with the token Aboriginal art, boomerangs, or digeridoos, and they feel guilty and want to reconcile with Aborigines, as long as it doesn’t involve actually having to be around them. Restaurants especially wouldn’t want any actual Aborigines inside.

Most racists accept the right of Aborigines to be in Australia though, even if they want to deport all black people and muslims. Nobody has a solution to the problems of Aborigines though.

The main crime supposedly committed against Aborigines that white people are forced to feel guilty about is “The Stolen Generation”. The myth is that Australia used to steal Aboriginal children and babies away from their parents and raise them as white people while preventing them from seeing their parents. It’s a complete lie, and historians like Windschuttle have documented it thoroughly.

In reality, full blooded Aborigines have always been left completely alone, and it was government policy to preserve their race. So no matter how abused and neglected an Aboriginal child was (child abuse is a normal part of their culture), they were always left with their parents or community. The vast majority of half-white Aborigines were too. But some children who were more white than Aboriginal, and whose parents were dead or missing, and were being abused terribly by the rest of the community, were taken away and put in boarding schools and foster homes and raised by caring white people.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

There are many similarities between what has happened in Australia to what has happened in the
U.S., and throughout all White countries regarding immigration.  Like the U.S., upon becoming an independent nation, Australia barred non-White immigration:

The first Act passed by the new federal parliament was the Immigration Restriction Act which, through imposing a dictation test in any European language (usually English), effectively barred non-White immigration to Australia. Until the cultural revolution of the 1960s, Australia remained an unashamedly White Christian nation with a strong Anglo-Celtic ethnic base.

And, as in the U.S., during the 60s and 70s the White founding population and its culture came under withering criticism and attack from a hostile leftist elite in inside the academic institutions:

intellectual movements originating in elite American universities spread throughout the West…The new critical theory of the Frankfurt School ‘played a crucial role in exposing the racist underpinnings of many of Australia’s key institutions and values.’ The Frankfurt School …advocated non-White immigration and multiculturalism, as well as recruiting Whites who had complaints against the traditional culture, particularly feminists and sexual minorities, into a new coalition of the left.

The founding population was not given a choice in the matter:

In her book Ideology and Immigration the Australian sociologist Katharine Betts states that the dismantling of the White Australia policy was the result of an elite conspiracy: ‘Public resistance,’ she notes, ‘was circumvented by the use of administrative procedures and secrecy rather than open debate.’

The result has been an on-going race-replacement of the founding White population by Third World immigrants from Asia and Africa:

Between 2006 and 2011 the number of Australian permanent residents born in India increased by 100 per cent, those born in China increased by 54 per cent, while those born in the Philippines by 42 per cent. These startling figures do not even include those born in Australia to Indian or Chinese parents. The Census also revealed that other non-White immigrant groups are also expanding rapidly, including various African groups.

    http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/08/the-war-on-white-australia-a-case-study-in-the-culture-of-critique-part-1-of-5/

    Final result?

    South Africa:
all South Africans are targets of crime, and many are under siege inside their own homes from the many tens of thousands of armed (black) gangs roaming the streets…the vast majority of these attacks are carried out on…Afrikaner and English-speaking white minority-families. And often even the poorest Afrikaners are attacked. These specific attacks are excessively violent: gruesome violence ‘based on racial hatred of a previously disfavored minority.’ These attacks are also frequently accompanied by (gang) rape and cruel, long drawn-out mutilation practices, especially when Afrikaner/Boer families are being targeted.

    http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/2010/05/fears-of-boer-genocide-well-founded.html
This will be the fate of ALL White Western countries — England, the U.S., Australia, et. al,  in the future when Whites become hated minority in the countries they founded.
    Bon

I think the idea that Aboriginal traits are recessive and often unrecognisable in “half-castes” is false. It’s hard to be sure though, because the prohibition against pointing out that famous Aborigines are 90% white is so strong. Andrew Bolt went to court and was punished for saying (honestly) that most Aboriginal academics were mostly white.

Evonne Goolagong (pictured above) had majority white ancestry on both sides of her family, as far as I can tell. Although it’s very hard to find out that sort of thing.

I remember a few years ago for the 30th Anniversary of the manned moon landing, PBS aired 3 days straight of 30 year old TV from that period, so you could see the newscasts as well as the commercials and so forth. I watched a bit of it. Dan Rather was reporting from the launch site and there were a group of leftists with signs picketing the launch. There were about 10 or so of them, and they were so out of place. Bunch of hippies calling for the space expolration money to be spent on social welfare programs. They were interviewed, and they were drugged out fools. Here they were, on the cusp of our greatest achievement, and they’re picketing it.
Well, 40 years later, and those bastards won. They were freaks back then, less than 1 % of the population. Hope they’re happy now, those 10 losers, in their rest homes being taken care of by 4 foot-tall filipanas. Tasty pick, freaks.

You know what I would do, were I King of Earth? I would chain whoopie goldstein, or whatever her/its name is, to my throne, and anytime I needed to make an important decision, I would ask him/her/it what to do. Whatever whoopie would want to do, I’d do the exact opposite and I’D ALWAYS BE CORRECT.

[Prof. Fraser] and I debated whether it made sense to appeal specifically to American WASPs.

As a pastor of mine back in the early 1990s used to say, “What is pop psychology today will be taught in the seminaries in 10 years and preached from the pulpits in 20 years.” Hate to say it, but even most conservative churches in the US blindly assume racial diversity is a virtue in and of itself.

I’ve visited Protestant churches in the US that have been primarily black, white, or Asian and the black churches are ones that had a style, a culture, that grated on me. I would not stay at them even if everyone was white.

It breaks your heart, but it does not madden you enough to really do anything about it. Doing nothing is what killed the white race.. (oh and being scared of being called a racist).. immigration had little to do with it.

According to Myth Busters, an ancient Chinese man tried to launch himself into space by attaching thousands of fireworks to his chair. Not a great plan, but he was on the right track.

  • anonymous_amren

I think it was invented by Aborigines, although most other societies invented them first but then progressed onto more advanced weapons and forgot about boomerangs. Tutankhamon had a collection of boomerangs, for example.

Boomerangs are the one Aboriginal invention to make it into the mainstream though, and I’ll give Aborigines the credit for that.

  • anonymous_amren

The problems Aborigines have are not all due to deconstruction. For example, from looking at skeletons and fossils, it is clear that Aborigines had very high levels of violence and domestic violence long before white people arrived. A lot of their culture appears to have always been disfunctional. Not everything that looks like decay is a recent thing. It was never the paradise for Aborigines we like to imagine.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be anything that could be done to save Aborigines or their culture, since their culture just can’t compete with Western culture. No Aboriginal child would choose Aboriginal culture when they can gibsmedat from white culture. Even if all the white people left Australia, Aborigines would just fight amongst themselves and destroy everything white people left behind, and mostly die out.

I note the photo of Evonne Goolagong – perhaps Australia’s most reknowned aborigine ever – and a poster child for your aborigine gibsmedat. Even she wound up marrying a Caucasian Australian man named Cawley (don’t know if they still are). If it wasn’t for tennis, she’d be just another aborigine in Australia’s outback.

  • anonymous_amren

Australia’s recent Prime Minister (the equivalent of President) John Howard was actually a racist, and tried to stop all immigration from Africa, and tried to turn back all the illegal immigrants. He served for many terms. He’s probably one reason why Australia isn’t so far gone as other white countries.

No, because mulattos are half-black and half-white. Goolagong has a different complexion, half-white and half-australoid. Australoids are a different race than Negroids.

Cliff – I also grew up in the 1950s/60s Australia, your misrepresentation that “Diet consisted of meat and potatoes” is mere parroting repetition of the standard ‘food libel’ against traditional Australia that is ever so popular with the beautiful people’s multicultural mafia so prevalent across MSM here.

That our food was more plain back then in comparison to food preparation/presentation and fetishization today is the same that can be said the world over in comparison to past times. Look into old Australian cook books – you’ll find they are far from “a popular oxymoron joke” but I make no apology for your mother’s lack of imagination or flare – just don’t swallow such stereotypes whole and pretend everyone’s table experience at home in the great southern land of the 1950s/60s was as limited as the view through the modern foodies manufactured retrospectoscope you mimic (and see IstvanIn above on same foodie theme)…ditto your simplistic view of Australian manufacturing and consumer goods costs back then…post WWII 50s and 60s – at least we did have a healthy manufacturing industry before sacrificing it for globalization from the 1970s and ditto for your shallow critique of prices arts and entertainment.

  • Osred

The overwhelming criticism of traditional Australia in multicultural discourse is that “old Australians” mostly ate traditional Australian food. The pre-multiracial period is therefore routinely derided as the “chops and three veg” days, and this expression is usually accompanied by a declaration of relief that those times have passed. You couldn’t get a cappuccino, the multiculturalists claim, “before the Italians came” – conveniently forgetting that there is no difficulty in getting a decent cappuccino in Japan, where there is no Italian community. Equally, before “the Italians” came, according to the propaganda, the only pasta that Australians knew of was tinned spaghetti – once again forgetting that macaroni cheese, for instance, has been cooked in England (and therefore subsequently in Australia) since at least the reign of Richard II.
One could go on at length, disproving these absurd claims, but it would be more effort than it is worth. Suffice it to say that if traditional Australian cuisine was in any way deficient, there was still no need to flood the country with non-British migrants to solve the problem. A widely distributed cookbook would have done the trick.
Yet in reality there were many such cookbooks, and they make for revealing reading. One such is the Australian Women’s Weekly Cookbook, published in 1970, when readers of the Australian Women’s Weekly magazine were almost entirely of British Isles descent and had a traditionally Anglo-Australian taste in food. We can therefore learn from its pages what types of food typical Australian housewives were really cooking at that time. Let us take one chapter at random, “Fish”. This section contains recipes for Sole Véronique, Sole and Asparagus with Wine Sauce, Trout in Butter Sauce with Almonds, Bream Meuniére, Bream Bonne Femme, Fish Fillets Florentine, Butter-Fried Bream, Sautéed Mullet with Capers, Grilled Mullet, Baked Minted Mullet, Sole Bercy, Baked Snapper, Fish Mornay, Escabache, Gefilte Fish, Salmon Mousse, Salmon Croquettes, Grilled Tuna, Haddock Kedgeree, Sweet and Sour Fish, Indian Curried Fish, Fish Cocktail, Poisson Cru, Fish Roe, Herring in Sherry Pickle, and Ragout of Octopus. Not exactly a boring or unvaried list, and that’s even before the chapter moves on to shellfish! Moreover there is no shortage of cookbooks with similarly wide variety published all over Australia going back to at least the beginning of the twentieth century and probably earlier.
Clearly, then, the claim that Australian cuisine before multiracialism was a matter of “chops and three veg” is a lie. (A stupid one at that, since meat and a variety of vegetables is both nutritious and cooked, in one form or another, almost everywhere in the world.) Yet it is precisely this lie that many multiculturalists whip out with a flourish when anyone expresses a fondness for the “old Australian” culture.

The Whites were the first to come up with university, democracy, really? What about ancient India, where the first university was built? How about the number systems, with out which Whites could not have put a man on moon or invent a computer? Astrology? Medical practices? To me it looks like, the Whites started to explore far away lands and took whatever teachings, principles, ideas that they could get and perfected it. And in the last 400 years or so, Whites started to build on that shared knowledge and contribute more in the fields of science, engineering, medicine and maths while others were being comfortably colonized. As a non-White, I agree on one thing without doubt, if Whites helped to build a nation, then that nation should be for Whites only and no other immigrant should be allowed to enjoy its success. I’m against immigration totally. Diversity is a delusion invented by leftist liberals. I think everybody should stick to their own ethnicity instead of this progressive utopian inter-racial crap. We humans, tend to mock each other over language, food, culture, art, color and other things we don’t understand, on a daily basis, so why not just stick to what we understand, that is enjoy our own kind.

I only have a problem with the Whites, when they try to white-wash the history, like there wasn’t any other modern human civilizations prior to White renaissance. Like no other non-white race had any major contributions in science, math, engineering or medicine. We were all pretty much separated and isolated in our natural habitats earlier, so don’t tell me that we didn’t try the separate approach. Blame it on human inquisitiveness and our other selfish urges.
