Rapper Kodak Black Arrested in Florida on Drug Charges

Rapper Kodak Black was arrested after authorities allegedly uncovered a trove of oxycodone pills in his car during a traffic stop in Florida.

The 25-year-old “Super Gremlin” rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was pulled over in Fort Lauderdale {snip}

When Black rolled down the window of his SUV, authorities said they immediately smelled marijuana, triggering a search of the vehicle. It allegedly turned up 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash.

In 2019, the Atlantic Records recording artist was handed three years in federal prison for falsifying documents he used to buy weapons {snip} He served half of the sentence before it was commuted by former President Donald Trump {snip} He was also arrested last April for assaulting a teenage girl {snip}

Black was originally charged with rape, but instead accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to first-degree assault.
