Thousands of Shia Muslims Publicly Celebrate Ashura in Dearborn

Thousands of Shia Muslims took to the streets of Dearborn, reportedly in Rashida Tlaib’s district, and marched.
Tlaib represents Michigan’s 13th district. It covers portions of Detroit’s east and west sides and Dearborn Heights.
Just over half the voters are African Americans, with the rest a mix of some whites, Arabs and Latinos.
Because of the racial breakdowns, that district is so reliably Democratic that Republicans don’t even bother running for its empty seat in Congress.

The incident in question happened back in September, but the video just became available.
Shia Muslims participated in the 7th Annual Ashura March waving Arabic flags.
According to the web, Ashura March is For Shia Muslims and is a solemn day of mourning the martyrdom of Hussein in 680 AD at Karbala in modern-day Iraq. {snip}

It doesn’t even look like America. It’s actually quite shocking and alarming.
Again, this just goes to show how vitally important it is to bring in immigrants who are excited to assimilate to our Ameican culture. If we keep importing immigrants who refuse to assimilate, our country will be unrecognizable.
