Thousands of far-right activists took the streets of Bratislava, Saturday, to protest against the ‘Islamification of Europe’ and migrants from Middle East and Africa.

Protesters chanted “Slovakia to Slovaks” and held banners and posters with slogans such as “Slovakia is not Africa” among others. Counter-protesters had to bear objects like beer cans and flares thrown at them. However, the heavy police presence prevented more severe clashes. At least one police officer was injured.
