Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on L.A. visit

Kate Linthicum and Tiffany Hsu, Los Angeles Times, August 25, 2014

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto kicked off a two-day tour of California with a speech to Mexican immigrants in Los Angeles on Monday in which he pledged to make life better for his countrymen living on both sides of the border.

Pledging reduced wait times at border crossings and faster services at Mexican consulates across the United States, Nieto said he had an obligation to serve all Mexicans, regardless of where they lived.

“This is the other Mexico,” he said of the United States, which is home to an estimated 11 million Mexican immigrants.

Peña Nieto, who is making his first official trip to the U.S. since he was sworn in nearly two years ago, spoke in Spanish to a crowd of several hundred at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. He entered a ballroom alight with the colors of the Mexican flag to thunderous applause and shouts of “Bienvenidos!”

In introducing Peña Nieto on Monday, [Gov. Jerry] Brown spoke about the interwoven histories of Mexico and California and nodded to the immigrants in the room, saying it didn’t matter whether they had permission to be in the United States.

“You’re all welcome in California,” he said.

Peña Nieto also expounded on the close ties between Mexico and California, which has the country’s largest population of Mexican immigrants. He thanked state officials for embracing foreigners, citing measures that extend state benefits to immigrants, and presented scholarships to several immigrant students enrolled at California universities.

Before he spoke, Peña Nieto heard from several local Mexican American leaders about the concerns of immigrants. Pina Hernandez, who heads a federation of immigrants who come from the Mexican state of Jalisco, said violence back home by warring drug cartels is still a top issue for many.

When all the White people leave, Cali will go from a 3rd world country to a 9th world country, because there won’t be anyone left to pay the bills.

Then Gov. Moonbeam will have his ‘Dreamer’ State – to go along with the ‘dream state’ he’s already in.

That idiot is not even AWARE that OUR jarhead has been in Mexico’s jail for 5 months!

    • connorhus

Oh I am sure the state will manage to get a good share of the Federal funds for a few years before they try and join Mexico properly.

    • Jack Whistler

The problem is when all of the idiot whites who voted for the policies created this situation leave….they will vote for those same policies in the new states they call home. This is already happening in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado. Not only do we need to stop allowing ourselves to be buried in brown, we need to start mandating that the whites who enable it are forced to remain in the hells they create rather than be allowed to spread the infection of their failed ideas to the rest of us.

      • ejXinMI

It seems fair to assay the intentions and attitude of would-be immigrants– at both the state and federal levels. Why would Iowa admit someone who advocates they adopt the California culture? Why should the United States admit someone who thinks Sharia law should be applied here? (Why did we allow the installation of a President who campaigned to “fundamentally change America”?… sheesh.)

      • Pro_Whitey

Good point. New Hampshire has become Massachusetts-lite because the Mass. refugees from leftism infected NH with their leftism. Noo Yawkers fleeing NYC socialism did the same to VT. I might end up such a refugee myself, but I hope I will have the humility to remember why I left.

    • P3P3P3P3

40 years ago California was 80% White, now it is 40%, WTF wake up, the country you used to know and enjoy providing an improving standard of living and a civilized society is being turned into a Squatamal

  • ZB01

“LA” is increasingly short for Latin(o) America.

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

      Latrino America

  • Extropico

Mr. Brown, did you not think to demand reciprocity of an unlimited number of Americans, including all our African Americans, having access to free education, housing, health care and job quotas in Mexico? Inclusiveness is a 2-way street.

    • Laika

Remember the Prime Directive: Destruction of White America.

Therefore it is a one-way street. Until WE put a stop to it.

    • ejXinMI

Encouraging the Africans in America to immigrate to Mexico is a fantastic idea… wish I had thought of that! But I do have another idea that ranks right up there, IMHO:
Let’s send the worst of our prison inmates to the various s$%# holes of the Middle East… let ’em duke it out… somebody’s numbers are bound to be diminished.

  • Ghost of Galton

Hmm, interesting–I say we should get as many native-born White Americans as possible to move to Baja California and refuse to leave–it can be “the other California.” Hey, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

    • TruthBeTold

Mexicans aren’t bound by PC restraints. They would do what needed to be done to defend their sovereignty and would be applauded for it.

      • Periapsis

Moreover, they are also doing everything they can to destroy ours, and set the stage for massacring white Americans. If Hitler taught us anything, beware he who makes no bones about his intentions. La Raza and MEChA have openly stated their aim to displace and exterminate whites wholesale in the United States. Pena Nieto is a mortal enemy of all whites, period.

        • Laika

Yeah, LaRaza and MECha – virulent anti-Whites, funded, promoted and encouraged by White American Tax Dollars and wealthy foundations like Ford.

Nothing but a bunch of tools used by the aliens in power to destroy White Americans. How soon before land confiscation from Whites start up, as they have in Zim and SA?

    • Laika

The Mexican military and drug cartels using the latest automatic weaponry and armed by Eric Holder, would drive whites out with deadly force.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama sent American military to help rid Mexico of Whites.

  • Truthseeker

It looks as though California has been successfully conquered by Mexico. Of course, it was given away willingly by insane elites, so it doesn’t really lend itself to a heroic narrative for the Mexican people, but I’m sure they’ll take what they can get. Of course, they might not be so happy once all the White folks move away and take their prosperity with them.

    • Jack Whistler

Fleas will always follow the dog…

    • Laika

California hasn’t been conquered, it’s been destroyed.

Who will fund the middle class lifestyle to which illegal aliens have become accustomed when we Whites are gone? California is deeply in debt and is about to run out of potable water, then what?

Mexicans are another group that wants a White world without Whites in it, a world they little understand and cannot create for themselves. Little do they know that they are nothing more than tools being used to destroy White America. Once that’s done, their funding will be cut off and they’ll be on their own.

      That day is coming, soon.

      • Periapsis

That is why I advocate putting to the torch, blowing up or otherwise rendering useless anything we cannot take with us if we are forced out. Let them conquer ashes.

  • From “California Dreamin'” to “California Girls,” that state was the magnet for my generation. I’m glad I never made it out there because it would be too painful to see what it’s become since 1965, That dream is dead, but a new one is rising from the ashes, a white homeland somewhere–anywhere.

    • OS-Q

Even a nineties movies, like the Big Lebowski, featuring California as it used to be, can be saddening knowing how it turned out in the end.

  • B.E.L.

“You are all welcome in California” and “This is the other Mexico.”

Never in the history of the world has a stronger super-power first world country handed itself over to its weaker third world neighbor.

It makes me sick to my stomach.

    • Augustus3709

If America was a “real” country, war would have been declared years ago for this foreign hostility and invasion. Party like it’s 1848 and retake Mexico City, annex, redraw borders, and relocate the aliens.

      • Laika

The British knew what to do: They’d march to the capital, execute all the leaders and burn the city to the ground.

Now, they too are emasculated just like us, and under the thumb of the same NWO masters that are hell-bent on destroying any and all and ONLY White countries.

    • SentryattheGate

One/third of U.S. welfare users are in California!!! And it has more Hispanics than any other state! It got 80% of it’s Hispanics since 1980, an invasion of illegals! Such a beautiful state to be ruined!!!

      • B.E.L.

It is exactly why when I retire, I am moving the hell out of here. I wish I would have left years ago, but was tough with such a good job here. The one thing I did do right, was teach my kids that this was not going to be a state for either of them to raise a family in. Fortunately both agree, one has already left the state and the other is in the air force and plans to never come back here.

        • B.E.L.

as a side note, that is what my user name here stands for….B.E.L.= Behind Enemy Lines.

        • M&S

I hope you’ve planned well for the second half of your life.

You’ll never get a retirement from any California state institution (and only a commercial one if it has viable, ‘extraterritorial’, assets to sue).

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

A California state assemblyman Tim Donnelly plans to stage a protest outside the governor’s mansion next week to demand that Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, ensure the release of a U.S. Marine held captive in Mexico.

How many politicians are standing up for Marine Stg. Andrew Tahooressi who has been locked up in Mexico since March…or Officer Wilson who justifiably shot a large, raging thug that was “bum rushing him?”

The Mexican presidente should be locked up and held hostage until the the Marine Sgt. is let go.

Come to think of it Gov. Brown should be locked up with him for sedition – and the key thrown away.

This is criminal, traitorous, immoral, and unconstitutional. Our ‘government’ has been infiltrated by a bunch of globalist traitors. The ‘government’ outlaws do NOTHING but harm the people of the United States. Mexico is doing a fine job of exporting all of their undesirables on us, then insulting the citizens of the USA with criminal acts towards our citizens. These peons are illiterate, disease-ridden, communist, anti-White, racist invaders. When are we going to fight back?

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Yes. Just look at what is crossing the border:

        • Laika

They’re coming to drive drunk on our roads, drain the welfare system, fill up the penal system, destroy the education system, sell drugs and rape your daughters.

Laws mean nothing to them and they have more rights than your own children do, enforced by the American government.

What’s dire is that these changes to America are growing and permanent.

      • Pro_Whitey

One of the many things that galls me about this is that California was not the residence of historic Mexicans. It was claimed by the Spanish empire. Their claim was by no means respected by the French, English, or Americans, and if the Americans had not challenged it, the English would have (say, if the Battle of New Orleans had turned out differently). When the Mexicans broke away from the Spanish, they laid the same claim, but there was no entitlement to it. Their claim was just as subject to challenge. Besides, they could not get their Mexicans to settle Texas and California, but relied on European whites to do so. When the whites gravitated toward the white U.S. government, the Mexicans lost. There was no theft. The Raza and Mecha types should be hanging from nooses.

  • MBlanc46

And under the Guidance (Chuckle) of Mayor De Blasio NYC is becoming Kinshasa again.

They ought to throw ” El Señor Presidente” en la carcel with the assurance that he’ll be released when our Marine is. He is President of a country that has given his tacit approval of an act of war on the US, Therefore he should be in custody.

    • me

      But he’s a pawn for the Zio/globalists…

    • M&S

He has diplomatic immunity and that must be respected. It would cost us ENORMOUSLY to lose the benefit of that privilege, around the globe, if we broke our bond of trust in it’s protections, here at home.

What you do is make an absolute and immediate set of substantive laws (fail to enforce, go to jail, _understand_!!?) which make it a federal crime to be caught crossing the U.S. border and charge Mexico 1 million per day for every failure to contain their illegal immigrants. If they refuse to pay that fine, then kill their MFN status and start making the corporations who profit by sending jobs to and importing goods/foood/oil etc. from Mexico suffer huge tax penalties.

Then, **In addition to** THEIR setting up a fence and manning it with all due diligence to prevent, further illegal immigration, including the Operation Wetback return of all existing illegals on the wrong side of the border; you demand out Marine’s return.

See, it doesn’t matter why or for what reason her son was imprisoned to Jill Tahooressi. She just wants her son back. Pronto.

And the easiest way to do that is behind closed doors, through the wallet.

      Not through the law.

If that means he gets convicted and then pardoned for this pissant crime*, so be it. We’re bigger than that, so should Sgt. Tahooressi be.

Mexico is playing the bait the big boy game of shame and humilition as effeminate ‘can’t touch this’ psychology.

It’s time to say to them: “We don’t intend to hurt you over one man. We intend to _ruin you_ (no more 22.7 billion dollar remittances) for our own reasons.

Then and only then will Mexico realize that she has kicked the wrong dog.

And the way you get to this kind of conditional “We ARE bigger than you, and you WILL listen to us.” agreement is by putting racists into Congress and the White House with a lasting intent to undue the damage done, regardless.

      • Cid Campeador

I’m aware of the Diplomatic Immunity. I just needed to blow off some steam.
As for being the big dog, I fear that we’ve become the Chihuahua, lots of snarling but just an ankle nipper.
Between the one sided race War, Isis and the Mexican and Central American unbridled immigration , this Admin, has brought us to the brink of total dissolution in only 6 short years with some preliminary work by previous admins.

        • M&S

I understand but please think in inverse correlates and _dream big_.

No one has directly proven that Sgt. Tahmooressi had major plans to undertake illicit affairs in Mexico or even that he knew having guns in his vehicle was illegal there. There is even some question whether he knew he -was- in Mexico.

Yet there he sits. And nothing being done by anyone has changed this.

So stop fighting it for what it is: a strong arm play to display machismo.

And start prying loose other rocks _which we need to do anyway_ to begin the process of ‘screw Mexican justice, this is pure economics’ getting him home.

All the cards are in our hands here. No more remittances (as much as 57% of recipient income) = no more taxation or stabilization growth. No more MFN status = instant and massive changes in tariff status for all goods coming into this nation. Instantly penalties for U.S. industries wanting to do the work in Mexico for U.S. market share = massive loss of industrial base as these corporations displace to other locales.

Fight the SMART WAR and the nature of Mexico’s attitude on Andrew Tahmooressi becomes the petard by which they hoist themselves well and truly: “Oh but what else can we possibly give you, you’re ruining us!”

“Andrew Tamooressi walks free with a public apology for illegal detention without access to counsel.”

          “But…but…he -did- have the guns!!”

“And you, who dare to criticize our cruelty to Mexican sex criminal cop killers, will never again illegally detain an American for X-months ‘going on 14 years for arms possesssion’ again, you flaming hypocrite!”

The whole point is that you give them back somethings that you never intended to take away forever (cheap trade status) but you make them publicly admit to wrong doing with regards to motive for harassment -as a consequence- to a known outcome: “You are going to lose remittances for 10 years anyway. Want to make it 20?” by which pride costs them dearly.

This is the only way in which we will be able to maintain differentially protective legal systems which do not encourage Mexican predation of U.S. tourists for every little Mexican who gets himself a needle for doing things that no _human being_ should be allowed to get away with.

And best of all is if they balk and try that silent-stubborn pride thing.

“We tried to bargain for Mr. Tahmooressi’s freedom but they would not allow his release. As a consequence, legislation now being enacted will make it a PERMANENTLY ILLEGAL to send money to Mexico by private telegram. Only bank to bank transfers at 30% handling fees.”

Now Mexico has to explain to their own population why they love their justice system so much that they would rather ruin thei rural economics of the desperately poor (sending them straight to the DTOs) than let one idiot Gringo go back home to momma.

We are not likely to get away clean on this. Mr. Tahmooressi has acted stupidly from the start, with his escape attempts and his throat slashing and his general tantrums.

That a soldier should act this way is regrettable.

But that doesn’t mean that we can’t make it clear who wears the pants at the last say.

  • Puggg

The way these people are involved are behaving, you would think that California is a province of Mexico.

  • benvad

That idiot Gov. Jerry Brown he must’ve watched and believed the spin on Murray Brother’s film Caddy shack? Just wants to get back at the WASPs by any means necessary, that’s very sad and very very small. Reminds me of Kerry and Kennedy up against the Episcopalian Elite and showing it to them.

    . . . . . . . . . . .and take his diseases with him ..

  • Still California is the technology and economic powerhouse of the USA. Some major companies in my field are packing up and moving out there because That’s where the money is. Apparently no problem is envisioned in finances there. In fact everyone is talking about the amazing job Governor Brown did in balancing California’s budget.

Also with all the Latins there CA alone will be able to decide the next Presidential election. Of course they’ll make sure it goes Democratic & of course they’ll make sure that CA gets a good chuck of Federal funds collected from the rest of the overly wealthy: e.g. the working whites in the rest of the country.

  • MoMo

Does anyone here possibly believe that our Marine would still be languishing in a Mexican prison if Ronald Reagan were President? While it is undoubtedly true that many of these “repatriated” Mexicans are harder workers than are their more darker brothers;3 but that is like saying that an alcoholic is a better worker than a drug addict!

To show just how upside down all of this has gotten, no one even has a clue as to just how many illegals are actually here? Ever notice how Hispanics tend to look like Middle Easterners? And, you think that we will be able to keep the terrorists out? It’s insane!
