Why I’m Calling out Civil Rights Hustlers Sharpton and Dyson

Juan Williams, Fox News, August 8, 2013

Race has been the topic over the last couple weeks, but if we’re going to do this right, if we’re going to have an honest discussion among people who care about the problems inside the black community, we have to be dealing with honest brokers. Unfortunately, a lot of people in the so-called civil rights community are frauds, outright hucksters.

Two of the worst: civil rights activist and MSNBC host Al Sharpton and Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson. Their goal: demonize white people, especially conservatives like Bill O’Reilly, so they don’t have to deal with the real problems that continue to plague the black community. Making an older, conservative white guy like O’Reilly a boogie man is easy for these hustlers.

But do they ever confront the real problems and threats in the minority community? No.

High murder rates? How about that? What about high dropout rates? What about the breakdown of the family?

I bet you think I’m exaggerating. Well, here’s this from Michael Eric Dyson:

“Why is it that when we say we want to have a conversation on race, you want a conversation on blackness? You don’t want to have a conversation on race. You don’t want to have a conversation on white privilege, unconscious bias. You don’t want to talk about the collective world we made as black, brown, red, yellow and white people. You want to lecture black people.

So, Mr. O’Reilly, I’d love to have that conversation about protecting yourself behind white picket fences and Fox News and having digital courage. Come in the streets where you went to Sylvia, and you were surprised that black people don’t throw bananas at each other or swing from trees.”

{snip}

In the whole episode (when he visited Sylvia’s restaurant), which O’Reilly and I talked about on the radio, was going on about defeating racial stereotypes in this society. But that’s not what Michael Eric Dyson wants to do here. He wants to hold up somehow that Bill O’Reilly is a racist and target of the conversation and therefore we should be about, somehow, going after Bill O’Reilly.

Well, who does that help? Let’s think about that for a second. If this is a real conversation about helping people, if you truly love people, and want to help those in need, how does it help to go after conservatives, O’Reilly, white people, rich people? Let’s go to the people who need help and give them help.

But that’s not what Michael Eric Dyson is doing. {snip}

{snip}

So what can we do, what should we do to start helping people who are in need in the African-American community today? I wrote about this in my book, Enough and recently in an opinion piece for FoxNews.com.

Here’s the message I would like to see expressed in America today. I think it would be especially powerful if it could come from the black man with the highest level of credibility in black America since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.–President Obama.

1. Stay in school and graduate from the highest level of school–but absolutely, no excuses, graduate from high school.

2. Take a job and hold it, no matter what job, no matter if your friends put you down for ‘flipping burgers.’ Use the job to get experience, make contacts with business people, and build a resume.

3. Marry after you have finished your education and while you have a job.

And the final step is important for you and for the future of your family and your community:

4. Don’t have children until you are at least 21-years-old and married.

Imagine if President Obama repeated that message over and over, ignoring the phonies who want to focus only on “systemic” racism as the reason for high rates of poverty, involvement with crime, and incarceration among black men.

Imagine if the president delivered that message despite attempts to intimidate him by civil rights leaders.

Imagine if he decided to deliver that message and by-passed the so-called ‘racial experts’ and academics who prefer to look at America’s troubled racial history–slavery and legal segregation.

The answer is the president could make a difference in millions of lives and build a legacy on par with Dr. King.

School is acting white, jobs are for chumps, marriage is for dorks, and kids mean welfare checks.

There, I kept it real for you.

    • Marriage also means the social expectation of the married partners pledging each other a complete monopoly of their romantic affections for life, including but not limited to sex.

Which means: When you gotz to get yo’ freak on, only one person can be the beneficiary of that freakiness.

      • IstvanIN

Marriage means love, affection, fidelity, loyalty, respect, traits the African is not known for, soulless creature that they are.

      • gemjunior

I’m sorry for being pessimistic but I don’t see that happening – real monogamy in earnest. Even when they were 75% married they were still having sex with neighbors, family members, etc.

    • You forgot about refraining from buying a bunch of stuff you don’t need. It was a sad day for me today. Some of the neighbors I liked to chat with about gardening finally had people from the bank over, changing the locks. They were young – got married too young – liked goodies like new cars, fought about money, got divorced and walked away from their townhouse.

When I was at my ten-year high school reunion, nearly everyone who was married by 25 was already divorced at 28.

I’m happy I married a woman who prefers to live beneath her income.

It’s really painful listening to a Black I have some respect for telling as much Truth as he can. His suggestions are great, but it’s like trying to suggest children act like adults.

Juan Williams has no credibility on this issue. Why? Because he’s a conservative. He’ll be written off by black and White liberals as an “Uncle Tom”, “House Niqqer”, or “race traitor”. Let me know when a black liberal makes the same points as Williams.

    • Puggg

I don’t find Juan Williams to be a “conservative” at all, even by the dumbed down black standards.

      • IstvanIN

I agree, for the most part anything of his I have read is anti-white, left-wing drivel. Like a broken clock, as they say.

    • Raydonn

WHAT???????? Juan Williams is about as ‘conservative’ as Nancy Piglosi……..well, maybe not quite as much as her………

    • Boris_baiter

Juan is certainly not a conservative. He does make intelligent arguments, and actually listen to opposing points of view, which makes him very unlike most liberals, so the confusion is understandable……

“…the real problems that continue to plague the black community.”

    ———————————————————————————————————————

The real problem is that blacks are a plague . That’s the truth, and anyone smarter than an old shoe can see it. Every black country/city/town/neighborhood in the world is a hell-hole of murder, rape, disease and illiteracy , and there are no exceptions, no one can name a single one.

    • Tim_in_Indiana

Great graphic! If anything deserves to go viral, that does.

    • gemjunior

You really said it. The picture is amazing – it’s worth a thousand words, truly. They are a plague indeed. A plague on all mankind. I wish it would go viral.

      • Spartacus

Save it on your computer, then start posting it on forums, and it will .

  • Oil Can Harry

Why is Williams accusing Sharpton of bashing O’Reilly? When “Loofah” Bill went to Sylvia’s restaurant in Harlem his dinner date was his pal Al.

  • Sick of it

Worse- He’s the President of the United States.

  • Raydonn

An addendum to ‘suggestion’ #4…………..Do not EVER procreate…..If I was in charge, I’d offer a $50,000 tax free/cash incentive for voluntary sterilization.

    • Spartacus

The arabs would use scimitars for that purpose, and it was much cheaper .

  • Raydonn

Why is that, invoking Michael King is likely very fitting…..he was a media fabrication known to engage in serial plagiarism, serial adultery and was known to hang out with avowed communists. (Highlander Folk School)………in other words, their ‘greatest hero’ was a shuck-and-jive con artist………….Hmmmm, why again are Michael King’s extensive records hidden ~2017? Granted, they’ll never be opened, we all know that.

  • I find it laughable that Juan Williams thinks the state of BRA can be
improved if only Obama would get on his presidential bully pulpit and
repeat over and over to the Bantu masses to stay in school, stop
shooting each other, get and job and get married; then Bantus will
    suddenly start doing these things.

If that worked, then the blacks of Philadelphia would be the most docile on Earth. Because its mayor, Michael Nutbar, constantly gets on his pit bully pulpit and preaches to the city’s Bantu masses to do all those things.

  • gemjunior

Yeah like he was a saint… what the hell is wrong with people? I used to love the U2 song “In the name of love” till I found out it was about MLK then I totally hated it. I turn it off if I hear it. Imagine some dickhead making a song about MLK – a white man?

    • IstvanIN

I used to like “Brown Eyed Girl” until I found out it was about a black female.

      • gemjunior

Ewww. WTF were they thinking? Is this a disease that is genetic – I mean has our DNA been altered when we weren’t looking – by a raging liberal.

  • It wouldn’t work no matter who tried it. Incidentally, I think Nutbar’s motivations for popping off in that regard aren’t altruistic — He’s just trying to make a name for himself. He knows that popping off about those things will accomplish nothing at least in terms of its supposed goals, but it will get Michael Nutbar on TV and at least for a few hours, turn him into Conservatism Inc.’s dark colored hood ornament.

  • din_do_nuffins

Juan Williams (what’s his real African name?) didn’t use his MSM platform opportunity to disavow Affirmative Action and Diversity Quotas.

He’s a race hustler, just the same as the others.

    • Jack Burton

He’s just using a different tactic to achieve the same ends, integration and miscegenation.

Juan Williams sided with Trayvon and said that the court and jury should have been more compassionate with their verdict. The man is a moron and thinks like a woman, with emotions, not logic.

  • Whirlwinder

The “white” black president is not interested in helping the black population. He is destroying American culture and in so doing, destroys blacks and whites equally. Black people need to jump off teh Democrat plantation and get off the government teat and gett their lives back together before they were sucked in by big government.
