French Far-Right Leader Loses Immunity, Faces Charges

BBC News, June 1, 2013

French far-right leader, Marine Le Pen, could face criminal charges for inciting racism, the BBC has learnt.

The French authorities opened a case against Mrs Le Pen in 2011 after she likened the sight of Muslims praying in the streets to the Nazi occupation of France.

As a European Parliament member (MEP), she enjoyed immunity from prosecution.

However, this protection was removed by a European parliamentary committee in a secret vote this week.

BBC chief political correspondent Gary O’Donoghue says he has been told that the vote to remove her immunity was “overwhelming”.

It will need to be ratified by the full parliament, but that’s expected to be a formality, our correspondent says.

When the parliament’s legal affairs committee first tried to consider the case, Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s far-right National Front party, failed to turn up.

This week she sent a fellow French MEP in her place.

The move clears the way for the French authorities to pursue a case against the leader, who steered her party to a record 18% showing in the first round of last year’s presidential election.

Mrs Le Pen made the remarks at a party rally in 2010 in the southern French town of Lyon.

She said that Muslims using the streets to pray because mosques were overflowing was an “occupation” of French territory.

Praying in the streets was banned in Paris in 2011 in response to growing far right protests.

By some estimates, as many as six million French people, or just under 10% of the population, are Muslims, with origins in France’s former North African colonies.

Their integration has been a source of political debate in recent years, and in 2011 France became the first EU state to ban face-covering Islamic veils in public.

The BBC has so far been unable to reach Mrs Le Pen for comment.

They have to use the power of the state in this way to suppress Le Pen. They have to use the power of the state against Chrysi Avni. But they will lose. Whatever happens in this battle or that one, they will lose the war.

    • Tamara Blitzer

What makes you so sure that they will lose the war?

  • Hunter Morrow

Vichy France was Heaven on Earth to the car-burning bioweapons that have infested it recently. And you know who brought those bioweapons in. They look White to Mr. Taylor.

  • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

    .
Secret vote + retroactive prosecution for speaking the truth. The Soviet system didn’t die in 1991, it just had a makeover…

    • The__Bobster

I guess if you hate your fellow Whites, you see nothing wrong in leveling an ex post facto charge at your hated enemy.

    • me

Yup. Marxism disguised in every country under different names…..

  • Potestas Tenebrarum

Wow. She had immunity when she made the remarks, and now they’re going to strip her of that immunity RETROACTIVELY just so they can prosecute her? Hey, why bother with the rule of law at all? Why not just create offenses and then have everyone who “violated” the laws before they were enacted sent to prison? Beats mucking with all those lawyers and trials and procedures, doesn’t it?

    • T_Losan

Here’s another idea, we can stop pretending to hire and promote journalists, police, and cabinet members on merit and just appoint the right ethnicities…oh wait…

  • Hunter Morrow

Jews brought the muslims into France and Whites are trying to kick the muslims out and are criminalized for it.

  • eiszeit

She’s a dolt for using that comparison.

    • Sick of it

As has been stated in the past, the minaret is a symbol of conquest, not faith. It’s all about conquest for these people.

      • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Well, so is a cross. It just got in first and held out against Islam for a couple thousand years. But the white Europeans suffered for it all. (Oh yes they did).

Tell us wise one what the star of david represents.

        • ATitAgain

oh wise one..whats the star of david symbolise.

        • Romulus

I’ll bet your one of the few that hasn’t forgotten how christianity came to be the dominant religion ineurope. Can anyone say “the tribe”. The French look suspiciously just like the white Arabs that ran over the indigenous Gauls(Roman word for Celt) and goths.

    • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

I don’t think so. She was emphasizing that the French people could not be comfortable or safe in their own streets and that was true during the Nazi occupation and it is true today, due to the numbers of Muslims that purposely pray in public to create confrontations, knowing that the law will be used for them against those French people.

      • The__Bobster

Hell, the muzzies block traffic in France with their upturned as$es.

        http://www.bnp.org.uk/sites/default/files/images/muslims-praying-ilegally-in-paris-streets.jpg

        • brengunn

Right in the middle of the road while the traffic waits! They have gumption, I tell you. It would be strange if such displays were not met with a little anger. It would be quite funny to see the guy on the push bike meander his way through the crowd.

          • PesachPatriot

They don’t even try pulling this kind of nonsense in jerusalem or hebron because jews or other arabs will just run them over. I have a lot of respect for france’s cuisine, art and literature but I think the brits will be dealing with their muslim problem in a much firmer fashion.

          • snow

If they can go right ahead and block traffic, then I guess it won’t be long before they stop feeling guilty a bit when they rape native white women under broad daylights in public.

          • me

            They already do…

        • David Ashton

Silly me – I just supposed someone had lost his contact lens.

        • Paleoconn

One day I wanna infiltrate one of these shindigs and lay a silent but deadly one for the guy right behind me.

    • Sloppo

I can see why you would find her comparison inappropriate. Here’s a few reasons why. The Germans were not filthy inbred African savages who worship a pedophile-pirate’s moon-god. The French people did not pay the Germans all kinds of generous welfare benefits to colonize France. The Germans would have ruled France but they would have been unlikely to ever actually eradicate and replace the French population.

      • Romulus

The original tribes of gaul circa 3500 yrs ago and earlier would not have looked that much different than Germans. Read the Roman historian diodorus siculus’very accurate description of the Celtic gauls. In Julius ceasers own book, the gallic wars, he described them, albeit from a Roman point of view.

      • me

Yup. Big difference between the Germans and Muzzie scum.

    • me

No, she was BRAVE to speak out against the hostile takeover of her country. The Marxists are the dolts, not realizing that France is a powder keg waiting for a big enough spark….

  • Achaean

This European parliamentary committee has committed a treasonous act. The BBC is also treasonous, and so is anyone who objects to the principle that Whites have a right to protect their homeland against alien invaders. Whites must rediscover their age-old Indo-European fighting spirit against the cultural Marxists who dominate our institutions today. Marine Le Pen embodies the spirit which made European civilization the greatest in human history — in exploration, poetry, science, philosophy, architecture, music, literature.

The persecution of Marie LePen is the stuff of which legends are written. Another Joan of Arc is in the making before our eyes. Her persecution is a sign of how weak and desperate our enemies our. Clearly, the rule of law is being bent to silence a movement, but that can backfire by stirring up resentments among the masses. Who would have thought that the French would have the courage to lead the fight against our extermination. Amazing and inspiring.

The Dutch courts are also prosecuting Geert Wilders on some trumped up charges.

100 years from now, Marine Le Pen is gonna have a big statue somewhere in Paris. The people who are responsible for this pathetic sham of a case – their names won’t be anywhere other than in history’s latrine.

  • The__Bobster

    _____

Ah, there it is. The anti-Whites were saving this bogus charge so that they could use it in the event that she became too successful. Well, I hope it backfires on them.

    • That said, how much do you want to bet that there is some polling data somewhere, probably not released or not meant for external consumption, that shows that Marine Le Pen is at least within political striking distance of the current French President, Mr. Segolene Rodham Royal?

      • Tamara Blitzer

        1. The current French President is NOT Segolene Royal, it is the ultra socialist Francios Hollande!

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_France

        2. The French will lose the war against Islam. To think otherwise is nothing more than mere wishful thinking. I believe in reality not wishful fantasy, which is why I’ve always hated epics like the Lord of the Rings!

        • I know that. I was sarcastically referring to the long time relationship between Hollande and Royal.

    • Freey’all

They’re bringing it out in the wake of the success of the huge protest by the conservatives perhaps.

  • Talltrees

I wouldn’t compare Nazis to Muslims; although, it’s understandable why she said it. ‘Occupy’ is her comparison. Nazis didn’t hate EVERYONE. American, British and French were treated well. Russians, no, since Hitler hated Communism. The Russians were cruel.

All of us should express our opinions to the French parliament.

Here is their website in English. Contact is on right side of page.

A lot of the Nazis converted to Islam.

It is something to think about.

Muslims raping French women in France = GOOD

Ain’t the New World Order grand?

    • Romulus

You don’t fight rapists, bombers, and rpgs with words, I’ll go with your choice.

      • Bobbala

My point is that we’re not the ones doing the choosing. I prefer words.
Remember, South Carolina tried to buy Ft Sumpter. It was the yankees that wanted blood.

        • Romulus

I understood the underlying current. I believe American patriots will be forced. If the sixties mantra was in anyway accurate, there would be NO need to dismantle the bill of rights and constitution.

  • Jefferson

France is such an anti-free speech country, that they might as well be no different than North Korea in that regard.

France is a left wing dictatorship. Everyday the French government violates the civil rights of of it’s native White French population.

France takes big brother to a whole another level.

  • MBlanc46

It was probably not the best analogy, but “liberte [don’t know how to do the accent acute]” should protect her right to say it. If they prosecute her, I hope the French come out in the streets to support her.

    • je suis paganisme

The acute accent is just a long “a”— liberté.
But, yes, Mr. White, I hope they have one of their famous nation-wide strikes over this outrage.
The French are weird and seem to be right-brained. When they get riled up, they don’t stop.

      • MBlanc46

I do hope that this riles them up.

  • Hunter Morrow

I’d take Vichy France over Jiggy France any day. Sieg Heil!

  • White Mom in WDC

I just can’t figure the French out.

  • Unperson

“The BBC has so far been unable to reach Mrs Le Pen for comment.”

I assume that’s because Mrs Le Pen is smart enough to know the Bolshevik Broadcasting Commission will only distort her words and demonize her, and therefore isn’t worth talking to.

Not that the Continental media treat the brave and lovely Marine a whole lot better. To the lamestream, she’s a pariah everywhere. Like Wilders, Griffin, Haider, et al, she has been found guilty of the latter-day crime of Excessive Whiteness.

As for the apparently felonious comparison of the 1940s German occupation of France with the current Muslim occupation, well, from what I know of these two occupations it seems to me the Germans generally behaved themselves better. They certainly never inconvenienced the French by arrogantly blocking traffic for obnoxious public prayer orgies the way these Muslims are doing these days.

THE EU PARLIAMENT IS THE CRIMINAL GANG HERE.

How can they strip somebody of immunity? They cannot. Immunity is by virtue of office and they cannot do that. The whole process, that this was done in secret and will be in effect retroactively sounds like the whole process has been rigged. The EU parliament is the criminal gang because what they are doing is criminal.

And what they are doing is illegal and null and void.

So who runs this criminal gang called the EU and wants Muslims to invade Europe?
The Oligarchs who run the EU and own and operate the French govt. should be prosecuted. La Pen has some culture, so the libbarbarians want such people destroyed.

Does that not mean that the people can also vote in secret to strip the govt. of its immunity and then take action against them?

Time for Europeans to get out the EU. And try the EU and left-wing govt. gangsters and criminals in robes for their crimes.

  • IstvanIN

The French declared war on Germany back in 1939. Now the French have declared war on the French and the Muslims are their foot solders. Very different situations.

  • Archimedes_777

    EU PARLIAMENT PRESIDENT ADMITS:
EU CREATED TO CONTROL EUROPEAN NATIONS
(AND DESTROY THEIR CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION FOR THE SAKE OF ONE GROUP.)

    See:

    http://www.haaretz.com/jews-live-in-fear-in-europe-european-parliament-president-says-1.495831

The way to control these nations and make them safe for just one group, the President’s own group, is to foist multiculturalism by force and destroy anybody (eg. La Pen) who stands up for their own nation and culture, as no patriotic act can be tolerated, and Muslims must be given free reign to destroy Europe so his group can achieve total power and subjugation, albeit over a ravaged mutilated dismembered Europe.

  • Lancasharia

I bet the BBC just loved reporting this story. Their indoctrination of the sleeping masses carries on unabated.

  • guest

So much fail in this story! There isn’t even a starting point to enumerate the fail!

If they convict her it will only give firmness and strength to her movement. It will force her followers to realize that they are in a war. Golden Dawn in Greece has gone through that phase and they no longer make any pretense of aspiring to a peaceful resolution. Too bad, most of Europe is now at a point where there won’t be any peaceful resolution.

  • KenelmDigby

Apparently the EU has absolutely no respect whatsoever for the basic human right of free expression.
Apparently the EU thinks it is fit and proper to persecute democratically elected parliamentarians, persons who are mandated by winning a majority of the popular vote, and being ‘lawmakers’ MUST be allowed the full freedom to vocalise any opinion whatsoever – on the behalf of the electorate who voted for them. There is no higher authority in a state that actually takes the concept of ‘democracy through a democratically elected parliament under universal suffrage’ seriously.
Make no mistake, although these statements might seem like long-winded, wordy abstractions they are DEEPLY, DEEPLY, SERIOUS and utterly unconsciable in a supposedly democratic state governed by the rule of law with enforceable individual human rights.
Put bluntly, it is THE stamp of a totalitarian, vicious dictatorship.
Bu what really, really galls me the most is the way the EU has the sheer shamlesss, bare-faced deceit and meretricious mendacity to dare to lecture (which they do often) other states for not ‘respecting human rights’.
Look at the way these two-faced, lying b*stards shamelessly attack Putin and Lukashenko.

  • Jotun Hunter

the time is coming – surely – to take the kid gloves off with the leftists – to clash with them in the streets. They have gone over the edge of sanity at this point, those that remain in their ranks are not mentally well, are not concerned with the truth or with creating and maintaining a healthy society. We will be right back to beer hall putsch days – maybe further back – Marie Antoinette days. We may be fewer but their ranks are mostly puffed up with effeminate emo kids and green haired teenage girls that will quiver and break at the least sign of strength. The die hard communists, and the muslims, will be the real enemy.

  • Fr. John+

If you can’t reason with your opponent on ideological grounds, resort to ad hominems.

Yup. The ‘World Court’ of the EU is looking more and more like the “Star Chamber” on its best days, and the Cheka most of the rest of the time….. Poor Le Pen. A victim, twice over.

And, for the record, praying Hagarenes ARE worse than the Nazis.

  • jeffaral

The point is, if the Germans were still occupying France, there would’nt be a single Muslim much less a black African in sight.

  • Hans Schneider

at least the german army improved and enhanced the genetic quality of the french poulation .

    • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

Well, apparently not enough since too many of the French lie supine before the muslim invaders.

      • KevinPhillipsBong

The Germans aren’t doing much to drive out the Turks, either.

    • White Pride

Get off your high horse, Mr. “Schneider”. The indigenous French are already White and never needed Nazi occupiers who killed thousands of them to improve the genetic quality of their population, especially when there are many things where the French were and are better at than the Germans (e,g,. arts, literature, architecture, agriculture, viticulture, gastronomy, environmental services, public work, nuclear energy, etc) and when they have always held their own in science, economics and engineering regardless of Hollywood stereotypes.

Moreover, little do you seem to know, that most Northern and Eastern French (Normandy, Picardy, Alsace-Lorraine, and Franche-Comté ) are already mostly of German descent (Franks and Teutons).

The indigenous French are a precious and unique White ethnicity, and deserve to keep it alive and protected from ANY invader.

Vive Marine Le Pen and vive la France !

  • KevinPhillipsBong

All they have to do is keep the French right tied up in lawsuits, defending themselves, until the country brims over in Muslims.

  • Lygeia

    She’s right.

  • Paleoconn

LePen for President. She’s smart, she’s attractive, she’s brave, she’s patriotic, she’s strong, she’s honest. What else is there?

  • Eddie Lutz

If the Nazis were still occupying France a French politician wouldn’t be able to say anything bad about them. Hey, wait a minute….
