House Dems Call McCain Racist, Sexist and Say He ‘Battered’ Susan Rice

Matt Cover, CNS News, November 16, 012

Several House Democrats on Friday attacked Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz) as a racist, a sexist, and said that his criticism of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice amounted to mugging and battering.

“There is a clear, a clear in my opinion, sexism and racism that goes with these comments that are being made by–unfortunately–Senator McCain and others,” Congressional Black Caucus chairwoman Rep. Marsha Fudge (D-Ohio.) said in a press conference Friday on Capitol Hill.

“And I strongly stand by that statement.”

Fudge said that Republican critics of Rice including McCain had never called a man “unqualified” or “not bright”, referring to comments he made on CBS’ This Morning program Thursday.

“All of the things that they have disliked about things that have gone on in this administration they have never called a male unqualified, not bright, not trustworthy. I don’t recall it ever happening,” Fudge said.

During the same press conference, Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) said that McCain and other “men” should not be allowed to “attack” or “batter this woman” Rice.

Ambassador Rice is reportedly on the short list to be nominated to replace Hillary Rodham Clinton as Secretary of State, and on Wednesday, McCain said that he “will do everything in my power to block her (Rice) from being the United States secretary of state.”

Rice stirred up controversy when she told a series of Sunday talk shows on Sept. 16 that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, five days earlier had been a “spontaneous reaction” to an online video clip denigrating the Prophet Mohammed.

U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the attack, which was subsequently dubbed a terrorist attack.

McCain told Fox News: “Susan Rice should have known better and if she didn’t know better, she is not qualified. She should have known better.”

Referring to Rice on “CBS This Morning,” McCain said the ambassador was, at the least, guilty of “not being very bright, because it was obvious that this was not a ‘flash mob’ and there was additional information by the time she went on every news show in America.”

There’s a theory going around that the real reason McCain, Lindsay Grahamnesty and Kelly Ayotte are doing this this that they really want the Ketchup-in-Law as Secretary of State.

    • EndTimesComing

Last I heard, this morning in fact, is that they want Kerry as SecDef. Now there’s a great idea that could only come from a liberal: make a war protestor, wimpy, liar and panty waist SecDef. What normal people call losers liberals want to elevate to the highest positions in the land.

  • MekongDelta69

    Well, of course.

However, NoBama had NO problem hiding behind two women’s skirts (Rice, Hillary), because NoBama is a street punk with no cojones. (I threw in a Spanish word because I want to be ‘multicultural’ and ‘inclusive’ and ‘tolerant’!)

If she’s ‘qualified’ enough to go on TV and lie, then she’s ‘qualified’ enough to be criticized for her lies and not hide under the ‘racist/sexist’ table.

If the Congressional Black Caucasians couldn’t race hustle for a living, they’d all be out of jobs.

Black privilege is that automatic “RACIST!” defense targeted at the White community when we ask questions or cast suspicions upon black sacredness.

  • “Did the president really just tell John McCain to man up? And quit picking on Susan Rice? Did he really say that if the senator has a problem with his UN ambassador, he should take it up with her boss? Is that’s the president’s way of calling John McCain a wimp?

Are you kidding me? John McCain? War hero John McCain? Decorated fighter pilot who kept “volunteering” for dangerous mission’s John McCain? Six years in a North Vietnamese prison, getting the crap beat out of him John McCain? Are we talking about “Hanoi Hilton” John McCain? A man so badly battered and rifle-butted bayoneted and beaten, often every other hour, that to this day, he’s incapable of simply raising his arms above his head? “That” John McCain? The guy who after all that refused preferential treatment or early release because his father was an admiral. “That” John McCain? That’s” the guy who needs to man up and pick on someone his own size?

Leaving aside the clearly sexist tone of the president’s faux-rage, more like “leave the lady alone go after me.” Is it me, or isn’t Senator McCain already on record as desperately trying “to” go after the president? Or at least get a simple answer from him on this whole Benghazi mess? And wasn’t it the president who put Susan Rice out on all the weekend talk shows right after the September 11th attacks, to address this mess?

If she wasn’t your go-to person, Mr. President, why did you make her that? Why were her words deemed the official white house reaction to that? If memory serves me right, John McCain asked that himself. Why is Susan Rice speaking, and not the president?

Where was the president’s rage then? And why this “sudden” rage now? And why only now, this press conference temper tantrum over the “coverage” of Benghazi now and not over four dead Americans in Benghazi then?

So much we still don’t know. This much I do know. John McCain didn’t make Susan Rice the mangled messenger the president did.

Just like I know John McCain isn’t the guy you want to all but call out for “not” being a man. I think he put that one to rest, after spending years in a small prison cell in Vietnam, when you, Mr. President, were just a kid.”-Neil Cavuto

John McCain is afraid to loose his honour. Perhaps that is why he withstood rough treatment as a POW. He probably didn’t do it for love of his people he did it to avoid being shamed for dishonouring himself before his peers or parents or his principals. That doesn’t mean his principles are good. It doesn’t mean he cares about us more than his ‘honour’.

His concern for honour and social status is probably the reason he folds so easily in the face of political correctness. He’s afraid of shame.

There is a grave injustice being inflicted on White people and John McCain is going along with it. Vidkun Quisling was a patriot, Marshall Petain who headed Vichy a war Hero. Even Hitler was a tough guy with two Iron Crosses and 4 years of frontline service.

All live in Infamy and so surely shall John McCain.

      • Xerxes22

True. Even Benedict Arnold was once a patriot and war hero. He betrayed his country for personal petty reasons.

    • carocaput

The McCain arm problem is his own fault. It was not due to torture. He didn’t assume the correct bail out position is his fighter. That is why the injuries are symmetrical.. Also that family’s patriotism is questionalble since it was his daddy who recalled the jets sent to rescue the USS Liberty in 1967.

Someone in this story is such a dimwit that they have no conception as to what “battery” means.

“How do you know they are white racists?”
“Because there are no blacks in their group”

“Why are there no blacks in their group?”
    “Because they are racists.”

    • OlderWoman

“Why are there no blacks in their group?”
      Because they are incompetent.

  • pcmustgo

Susan Rice DEFNITELY has Angry Black Woman written all over her. Always a huffy attitude look on her face. She seems to storm up to the podium.

    • Jerrybear

Any leftist woman in power has an angry masculine tinge to their demeanor. Rice is lucky enough to not be hideous like other liberal politicians. I.e. Janet Reno, Napalitano, Kagan, Hillary, Maddow, etc.

      • OlderWoman

Liberal women are an insult to our gender. They are failures as women. Rice’s job is just ‘let’s pretend.’ So is potus’. They live fake lives. Smoke and mirrors.

      • Paisan, I don’t know how old you are, but Ella T. Grasso, who was elected governor of CT in the early 1970’s, was even uglier than Nancy Pelosi or Anna Eshoo (CA Congresswoman). She looked like one of those ghouls from “Night of the Living Dead”. To this day, I refer to her as “Governor Ghoulface”.

“All of the things that they have disliked about things that have gone on in this administration they have never called a male unqualified, not bright, not trustworthy. I don’t recall it ever happening,” Fudge said.

Actually we HAVE called a male all that. Barak Hussein Obama. We’ve been saying all along that he was unqualified, not bright, not trustworthy. And it was true. Likewise true with this minion of Obama’s at the UN. Look, it’s not sexist. It’s not about gender. It’s about race. And blacks, male and female, are statistically the dumbest race on the planet. There’s no getting around it. They are also untrustworthy, unqualified for any position other than lowest wage service jobs, and Fudge forgot other attributes: violent; destructive; unable to sustain anything given to them regarding infrastructure or civilization; their own worst enemy; the world over.

    • dhs

I am happy to refute your racist ignorance. Blacks are “not the dumbest race on the planet”; that distinction goes to the Australian Aboriginee.

      • EndTimesComing

Australian aborigine is just a fancy name for black. Tribal. Like Bantu or Mau Mau. So I stand on my premise as truth. 🙂

        • IstvanIN

They are a different brand of black from Negro. Actually even more primitive with an even lower average IQ.

        • Actually, “Australoid” is a separate racial category, from Caucasoid, Negroid and Mongoloid.

      • Reality to dhs

Someone needs to read up on the differences between race and ethnicity.

      • StillModerated

According to IQ And The Wealth Of Nations: the stupidest country on Earth is Equatorial Guinea.

  • shmo123

“There is a clear, a clear in my opinion, sexism and racism that goes
with these comments that are being made by–unfortunately–Senator McCain
    and others…”

    Oh Fudge.

There is a clear racism and sexism? Where? You mean the black kryptonite shield didn’t prevent McCain from speaking the truth? I only see garbled syntax and poor grammar. And I strongly stand by that statement.

    • The racism is in their minds: ‘Don’t you be talkin’ no trash about a STRONG black women!’

  • I just watched the conference on c-span.

It’s humors to watch the party in power call the opposition party obstructionists.

Did every one of these black women support, without question or hesitation, every Bush nomination for any position? No. They protested and called into question their credentials and abilities.

They’re excusing Rice because the situation was and is ‘evolving’. (There’s that word again.)

They didn’t give Bush the benefit of the doubt about ‘evolving’ national issues. Heck, he was supposed to know that New Orleans couldn’t withstand a category 4 hurricane.

(For the record, I am not a fan of GW Bush. I’m only pointing out the double standard).

    • Jerrybear

Actually, my science teacher in high school told my class that New Orleans would be under water. It was just a matter of time. The geniuses built the city below sea level. Only the original the original French Quarter ( built above sea level) survived.

The media double standards have progressed to hysterical levels. Liberals live under a strict code of double standards but are too brainwashed to recognize their own hypocrisy.

      • The__Bobster

Almost no city was built below sea level. Think how difficult that would be. Cities such as NOLA were built on swampland and sank as the water was pumped out and the land subsided.

    • The__Bobster

Katrina was a 3+ hurricane. I knew that New Orleans couldn’t withstand such a hurricane and even predicted this would occur more than a year before it happened. So did their local newspaper,

    • carocaput

      No, it’s the new normal!

  • The average IQ of a black is 85%? I suspect the number is lower for American blacks.

    • IstvanIN

That is the American black IQ. Africa is 75.

  • Steel_Quake77

Hey if it is ok for Senate Democrats to block Robert Bork for the Supreme Court, I don’t see why Republicans can’t block Susan Rice for the U.N. job.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

    • The__Bobster

The difference is that Bork was “supremely” qualified for his prospective job.

  • IstvanIN

Race traitor McCain is racist? Hahahaha, or should I write JaJaJaJa?

    • Eagle_Eyed

If they had any brains, moderates in the Republican Party should look at these situations with some wisdom and realize that–when it gets down to brass tacks–liberal Democrats will throw you under the bus regardless of how much of a “maverick” you are in bucking your own party and negotiating with the Democrats.

McCain, who has been nothing but complimentary toward incompetent blacks and wants to legalize 30 million illegal mexicans, is now racist for opposing the blubbering fool who lied about Benghazi. So he is a racist. “Hate creep” is the term, I think.

      • IstvanIN

Shows how you get paid back for betraying your own people and nation.

  • Michael_C_Scott

Are these critics saying that Susan Rice should get a free pass on professional incompetance just because she is a woman?

    • The__Bobster

Of course not. She’s black, too.

      • Michael_C_Scott

Does that make it better, or worse?

        • IstvanIN

      • StillModerated

Black? She looks more like an octaroon to me.

        • Blacks are always grasping at straws so they’ll lay claim to any successful person who fits the one-drop rule.

          • Daisy

Unless of course your name is George Zimmerman…hispanics are People of Color when liberals want them to be, white when they don’t…

  • anarchyst

Blacks have learned well from those of the “tribe”. . . just as those of the “tribe” dismiss anyone that has valid criticism of them with cries of “antisemitism and “holocaust denial”, blacks do the same thing with “racism” and “white supremacism”. . .

  • tucson

These black females are the real racists and the know it as they celebrate and gloat over their mutt messiah rigged election win. The truth is they hate irrelevant older white males and whites in general if the truth was known.

  • King Georege didn’t like political criticism either. That is how we ended up with freedom of speech

  • They use “sexist” card only when a female politician looks relatively decently. Doubt anyone would have uttered that discussing Golda Meir’s or Madeleine Albright’s policies ..ugh

  • Christopher

I am not a fan of the NOBAMa administration but I do believe tha Susan Rice is getting a raw deal on this one. McCain needs to efocus his efforts elsewhere.

  • western outlook

Just secede all 25 Red States into a new nation and save the western race religion and culture while the eastern bloc socialist Blue States nation led by a muslim will rot in their own feces and dry up looking like Haiti in the end.
