Jackson Jr. Allegedly Misused Campaign Funds for Home Decor: Report

Anthony Ponce and Mary Ann Ahern, NBC Chicago, October 15, 2012

new federal investigation into Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s finances alleges the Illinois congressman misused campaign funds to redecorate the inside of his Washington, D.C. home.

Three weeks before the election, the feds also are looking into whether Jackson Jr. used money from his House spending account to pay for the home decor, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The Jackson family briefly put the D.C. home on the market last month for $2.5 million. At the time, a family spokesman said they considered selling the home to pay for healthcare costs linked to Jackson’s bi-polar disorder treatment.

Jackson Jr. went on medical leave from his political post in Chicago on June 10. Few details were released until his office confirmed in August Jackson had been receiving treatment for depression.

This new probe is unrelated to allegations Jackson tried to cut a deal with former Gov. Rod Blagojevich to take now-President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat.  Those claims are under review by a House Ethics Committee.

As question swirl about whether Jackson Jr. could be indicted before the November election, the WSJ reports Jackson’s lawyers “sought assurances from senior justice department officials” that he would not be indicted before the election. Those officials would not make those assurances, the paper reports.

Home decor?  Jesse Jackson Jr?  Can we draw any implications from this?

    • yes.he has always been a bit funny looking. A bit fey.

More likely than not the authorities are closing in on him for several different things, which is why he probably fled to the protection of the nut ward, hoping he can employ a diminished state of mind defense when charges are brought against him.

The white politicians in Chicago are as crooked as they come.  Knowing blacks as I do, I think it’s safe to say the black ones are even worse.

Will authorities indict him before the election? Will it matter?

Indictment or not, Obama voters will still vote from their virulent anti White privilege bigotry. Invidious Affirmative Action that fuels harmful anti White stereotypes won’t go away, and the best we can hope for is that some flash event will give us our tipping point into a permanently racially charged atmosphere.

I hate John Wilkes Booth and James Earl Ray.  They gave us martyrs of our enemies, so we suffer because they were trigger happy.

Because of Booth, we never got to see Thaddeus Stevens shoot Lincoln.

Because of Ray, we never got to see St. MLK frog marched into jail for tax evasion, embezzlement and wire fraud. Imagine how much different our lives would be but for the errors of Booth and Ray.  That’s one reason I pray for the Obama Fambly’s safety every day.

  • Michael jackson did the same thing. He was actually a perfectly rational guy, but in order to not pay his bills/taxes etc., he played the loon. Is there one decent black out there? Just one, can someone find me one, because in my entire life I have found none. Prove me wrong kids.

Funny, I did think of one but then I really thought about it .. Never mind ..

    • yes there is…he lives in the white house.(the butler!)

Oh yeah, he’s depressed alright.  Depressed because he got caught so early in his thieving career. Unlike his Daddy.

According to Gawker, Jackson Jr. was spotted drinking at the Bier Baron Tavern in Washington, D.C. two nights last week, with two different women. A server told The Daily that he had seen the congressman drinking and smoking a cigar. ‘Most of the time he’s talking on his damn phone,’ the waiter said.

Cue chariot scene from Ben Hur.  The wheels have fallen off of Jesse’s chariot!!

Jackson jr. may be elected to “medical leave” for the next 20 years or so — hopefully he will be treated by a federal prison doctor!!   Maybe if he pulls the nude Turkish bath martial-arts routine in front of the Feds he’ll dodge the corruption charges on grounds of insanity.

    But…

He could be in prison for murder and he’d still win that seat with 90% of the vote!!  His getting re-elected and staying home in this case is a GREAT thing.

Illinois Governor Patrick Quinn said on Wednesday he sees no need for Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr., to resign his congressional seat or remove himself from the November election ballot. ‘He was elected by the people to serve his term…Obviously, he has had some health challenges.’

Quinn said he saw no reason why Jackson’s absence while being treated for bipolar disorder should interfere with having his name on the November ballot.

    No, of course not.

Jackson is black and therefore the law and common sense don’t apply to

    him. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/wapo-jesse-jackson-jr-believed-he-was-reincarnated-greek-chariot-driver_654642.html

  • Looks like JJ jr.  put a lot of thought and effort into fabricating his insanity defense
