Student Arrested After Bus Fight Posted on Facebook

A Franklin Township student has been arrested after a bus fight was recorded on a cell phone and posted on Facebook.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the students—ages 14 and 15 years old—were arguing over a bus seat.

Police characterized one of the students as the aggressor, saying the teen ordered the other student out of “his seat.” The fight broke out after the other student refused.

The video posted on Facebook appears to show the student grabbing the other teen and pushing him into the seat, where he hit his head against the window. Both students then got tied up and fell to the floor.

When they recovered, one student threw and landed multiple punches to the other student’s face and upper body.
