Beautiful blond Slavic babies appear in contemporary Russian pro-natalist advertising, too. It emerged in May of 2006, when Vladimir Putin had made Russia’s demographic crisis problem Number One. A year prior, the net human decrease in this country amounted to an alarming six hundred thousand people. At this rate, Russia is projected to lose 11 million people by 2025. Not unlike the case of “heroic mothers” of the past, he proposed to reverse depopulation pragmatically: better social services for new mothers, additional funding for multi-child families, a substantial amount of capital in the form of investments into children’s future education, and so on.
Putin’s critics immediately suggested that women might start reproducing out of greed, and they argued that Putin’s programs would lead to misleading short-term population boosts. Furthermore, they urged the government to address the poor health of the aging population, particularly men, whose life expectancy is at least a decade less than that of men in Western Europe and North America.
In 2008, Russia’s pro-natalism resulted in record birth rates—the highest since the Soviet Union’s collapse. However, while these measures have been covered by the media, two crucial aspects of Putin’s plan have been consistently ignored. First, this plan involves a significant cultural initiative which feeds into Russian traditions and contemporary advertising methods alike. Most important, this plan specifically targets people of European descent.
{snip} In general, the state offers its citizens cultural celebrations, secular federal and Eastern Orthodox Christian holidays, soccer matches, city jubilees, historic blockbuster films, military parades—all in the name of the Motherland. Russians are left with a sense of a glorious past—the kind of past that Western and American academic and government institutions are constantly telling us is outdated and oppressive.
More specifically, Russians are also rather conservative when it comes to marriage and children, despite the high divorce rate. So, it’s not surprising that the subjects of demographics, child rearing, a woman’s traditional role in the home, and even adoptions and surrogate motherhood receive extensive coverage in countless television miniseries, soaps, silly gossip talk shows, serious political programs, and “public service” advertising on major state-funded channels. For example, eligible bachelorettes and bachelors on a popular award-winning show “Let’s Get Married!” on state channel 1 systematically mention a multi-child family as their primary goal for resorting to television dating.
Yet, the most explicit pro-natalist messages appear within the confines of the 75-year old architectural wonder of the world—the Moscow metro system. This type of advertising grabs the attention of over six million people (90% of users), according to the recent study conducted by TNS Gallup Media. Long escalator rides deep underground and even longer commutes across the city make billboards on walls and posters inside trains simply unavoidable.
One frequently encountered advertisement features colorful matryoshka nesting dolls and reads, “‘Love for the Motherland begins with family’—F. Bacon.”
Another billboard is a photograph of good-looking European grandparents, parents, and children enjoying the outdoors together and captioned with, “‘Family is one of nature’s masterpieces’—Philosopher George Santayana.” The most distinct feature of both ads is the fact that they don’t simply depict happy nuclear families, but, rather, emphasize genetic and historic continuity through multi-generational family “clans.”
The most overt image in this campaign states that “The country needs our records. Every minute, three people are born in Russia” and shows a young Slavic woman holding three blond, blue-eyed babies. While enormous Moscow is quite multiethnic, here, too, the government’s demographic target market is very clear.

Russians are the greatest white people in the world, together with Eastern Europe, the only true white countries.
Russia helped the Christian Orthodox countries from the Balkans to be free from the Ottoman occupation white the British Empire was helping the muslim Turks against Russia.
Eastern Europe should leave the European Union and raise the Iron Curtain again.
We don’t need rap and hip hop from America or Western Europe, we owe nothing to EU, ZEROOOOO.
I hope people will forget about communism(which did not come from the Russian pople and they suffered more than us) and join Russia.
We know who we are, we don’t need EU to tell us that we are mongrels and should accept Islam and millions of emigrants from Africa.

Kudos to Russia. At least there is one European nation whose population will not be replaced by Africans and Muslims. 200 years from now, when England and France are Muslim nations with African and Middle Eastern populations, Russia may still carry forward the torch of Western culture.
Bravo for Putin and the Russian Federation! It’s good to hear that while Russia will probably never be a democracy as many would like, at least their leaders are clear-headed enough to see that if the Slavs are to remain the dominant majority in the country, it is they, and not all and sundry, who must be encouraged to increase their fertility rate. Any such effort in Western Europe or the U.S. would be shouted down as “racist,” of course.
Addressing the alcohol and tobacco epidemic is a welcome change, too. Russian men on average live to only about 60. Why? Because they smoke and drink so heavily. It’s no mystery; there’s no genetic defect there. Keep them (more often) sober and not stupefied so much by nicotine, and maybe they’ll be more interested in raising that White birth rate!
This kind of thing is the reason why neocons are so hostile to Russia.
I’ve got a hunch that Russia just may turn out to be whites’ last great hope.
I can see the entire West with white enclaves amidst brown ones, and black ones to a lesser extent, but I don’t see anything else in our future but small nation states that have seceded or won in war.
Good for them! It seems Russia’s is the only government that actually cares about the continuity of its own people. However, I must point out that black hair and brown eyes is quite common amongst true ethnic Russians and other Slavs.
I wish the Russian people all my best and hope them every success. I regard the two Russo-German wars as a tragedy.
If the Russian people want to celebrate their past with parades, soccer matches, films, fireworks, picnics, etc., I say GOOD FOR THEM! If they want to entice Russian couples to have more children, I say GOOD FOR THEM. They deserve it. They need to promote Russia first and foremost and forget all this multicultural poppycock. The old Soviet Union was multicultural, and look what happened to it. The republics were pulled apart like taffy.
The article touched on it briefly, but Russians have always venerated their women as workers, not just mothers. There are more women doctors in Russia, than men, because women were regarded as care providers and nurturers, so the vocation of physician was more suited to them. They were also astronauts in space, and servied in active combat. In fact, Soviet sniper Lyudmilla Pavlichenko’s total of 376 kills in World War II are the highest totals for any sniper, male or female, in any war.
Why shouldn’t European Russians, be targeted for encouraging higher birthrates? It is their country, after all. I’d rather see that, then some slob students from Cuba or Africa get free benefits.

Actually, today’s Russian demographics are nowhere near as bleak as under the Commissars. The last census before the 1917 revolution had 178 million Russians in the Empire. The Bolshevik Holocaust of 1917-1920 reduced that number to 150 million (17 million shot or starved by Lenin’s thugs; 2 million starved in Turkish concentration camps; 8 million emigrated to Europe and the Americas, 1 million to Eastern Europe)

The big three auto makers should pull out their assembly plans for those big-ass 1950s Fords, Chevys, and Plymouths for export to gas rich Russia. Those cars had good heaters and big ass comfortable back seats, big enough for two. Half the people in America today owe their births to those big ass 1950s cars. Those cars were not very mechanically reliable but those big back seats could sure produce babies.
This won’t work because its too expensive. If they would just pay decent salaries and diversify their economy then it would help but they want to live like Europeans complete with a nice standard of living and low birth rate.
Doing work in a building complex in Maryland, I was pleasantly surprised when viewing a “Russian” day care facility.
Most all the kids had light eyes, there were many blondes, others were light haired, almost all fair skinned.
They didn’t look particularly Slavic, more typically American.
Although the school only went up to kindergarten, by 5 years old they all read and wrote both Russian and English and could do basic math.
There were also plenty of American flags/Americana present.
The future of the race may very well be in Russia.

if you think that Putin’s government cares about the Russian people, you would not be received kindly on a typical Russian forum. By now it has become all to clear for all but the blind that it is an incompetent kleptocracy that doesn’t function well without very expensive oil. If European or American governments get sufficiently evil, Putin will start looking like the savior of the world very quickly. Stalin was considered a savior by many people for the same reason - because Hitler was in many ways much worse.
Soprano Fan, several male snipers had higher kills than Pavkichenko. Soviet sniper Ivan Sidorenko had over 500 kills, and Fyodor Okhlopkov had 429 kills. It must be noted that many military experts believe the Soviets inflated these numbers for propaganda and morale purposes. It has been stated that if the Russian claims are true, their snipers would have killed about a half million troops, which is preposterous. I must also point out that the Soviet Union had so many problems with women in the military during WW2, that after the war, their armed forces became virtually all male and are still so to this day.
We have an excellent population growth model here in the U.S. 55% of the population works and has few kids. 45% sit on their asses drinking malt liquor all day, fathering babies they’ll never see, neverless name. Works great!
Being of Ukrainian/Russian decent, I foresee myself emigrating to Russia or the Ukraine in the near future.
I have a question. How does the Russian government prevent non-whites or better said, Muslims from cashing in on the natal benefits. Can they get away with offering these things to White Christians only? Wouldn’t there be an outcry from the UN?

Another bloody few days in Philadelphia including the motiveless murder of a man who with his son, was walking the family dog. A group of teenagers approached them and shot the father, an immigrant from Ecuador. The son grappled with the shooter and rested the gun away from him only to discover that he had been shot in the stomach as well. The gang got away and are being sought by police. No descriptions was given of the attackers and as we all know, one may simply infer the description of the “youfs”.
The people look like a nice family. They came here looking for a better life and got instead a hideous death likely at the hands of the “usual suspects”.
My husband and I have two daughters, one blonde, one redhead. Between them they have blessed us with five beautiful grandchildren (so far). All five have blonde hair and blue eyes. I have quite a few friends who are envious. The secret of having beautiful, intelligent children and grandchildren is to marry a healthy, intelligent white man and have white children. Teach them to only date and marry intelligent white men. If your forbears were thoughtful enough to hand you white genes, preserve them and pass them on and teach your children to do the same. It is the greatest gift and blessing that anyone can inherit. It is our birthright.
People wonder why birth rates in western countries are lower, and usually birth control and education gets the blame. I don’t doubt that, but there is another giant reason that is rarely acknowledged, and that is the welfare state.
People used to have kids not just because they made good farm hands, and not just because there was no birth control, but because more children meant a social safety net in old age. Now we have social security and similar pension schemes. People no longer need kids quite so much.
Not only that, but the 15% of your paycheck (remember to include the employer’s contribution here, it’s a per-capita tax and they simply pay you less to compensate) you contribute means that you cannot afford as many kids. Throw in medicare/medicaid deductions, and you’re talking about serious money coming out of each paycheck. Now mom has to go to work, which means more stress, more divorce, and kids raised by day care workers and television.
Ending the sacred cows of social security and medicare/medicaid sound like harsh medicine, but it is probably inevitable anyway. Do not believe the lies that people down on their luck were thrown out in the streets before big brother came along. There were thousands of religious charities, fraternal lodges, charity hospitals, and so forth back in the day. Get a copy of “The Tragedy of American Compassion” and read all about it. That’s another casualty of government aid, incidentally—people no longer have as much time or money to donate to charity.

In terms of demographics, this is not necessarily a disadvantage. It may in fact be an advantage. One of the foremost reasons for allowing floods of immigrants, even moreso than cheap labor, is that politicians are in a bidding war to gain the most votes. From their point of view, a brown vote is just as good as a white vote. It may even be better in fact, since browns are known to be more dependent on government handouts, and thus more dependent on politicians. They are also less fickle than white voters, and will stay loyal to whichever party (currently democrats) is perceived as giving the most handouts and keeping the immigration floodgates open. Less democratic nations are not subject to the same incentives of course, thus you rarely see them adopting insane immigration policies.

It really take a village in raising children. Some things that could help:
1. Promote family planning, via information for young families on how to start/maintain healthy lifestyles, diets, activities, prior to trying to conceive as well as after birth.
2. Updated birth clinics/hospitals, more training for physicians and nurses to give excellent support and care to expecting families, pre and post natal checkups, inviting experience, (keep people coming back for more! :-) )
3. Increase salaries for physicians/nurses.
4. Classes for new or expecting parents, on good child-rearing techniques, hot-lines for questions, etc.
5. Some kind of state support to help growing families move into apartments in the first place as well as into apartments with multiple bedrooms (3 children being the magic number.)
6. New and updated playgrounds for children.
7. Increased involvement of the Russian Orthodox Church.
8. More access to affordable daycare for working parents.
9. Networking for young families.
10. Increasing the number of places catering to families. More green spaces…
11. Increase number of after-school activities for children.
11. Summer activities, camps, scouting, etc. To keep children occupied and give a break to parents. ;-)
12. Increase positive advertising, (whole campaigns) for families (like in the article).
13. Reform of the adoption system, support for single parent households.

In it, they stated she had some 376 kills, to her credit. The Soviets bragged about her prowess, saying she was better than anyone in the Nazi Army, which, of course, infuriated Hitler.
My Russian wife and I are considering taking advantage of Mr. Putin’s generous program to move to Russia and renounce our American citizenship. Having lived in Europe for most of my adult life, I don’t like the Muslimication of Germany that I see. Though my Russian isn’t as good as my German, I think we’d make it there just fine. And I want to make sure that my two beautiful blue-eyed, blond-haired toddlers fall in love with and marry others like themselves.
I’ve been to Kiev a few times and it is so refreshing to see a “white” society. There is a sense of belonging and future. Also, they respect and revere their history. I’d like to meet and marry a lovely Ukranian women and we could have nice blue eyes kids together and a future. I posted on a FSU forum my concerns abou bringing a nice girl to the incresely 3rd world invasion of the west. Am I wrong for even trying now? Sigh. What Turkish concentration camp for Russians are you talking about? Please provide the name of the place and the dates.
Perhaps houses, space, and privacy would help. These are desirable for big families.
When I was in Russia, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, I saw massive housing projects, much larger than anything in the USA. The buildings went and went, it seemed for miles, all apartments, and perhaps 20 stories high. Also, there was a severe housing shortage, resulting in several generations crammed together in an apartment. Not a condusive environment for raising children, and certainly not LARGE families.
These huge buildings, as on the northern side of Moscow, come right up to the city limits; on the other side is dense forest. This striking contrast can be seen elsewhere in Europe. No suburbs, no sprawl, no gradual tapering off, just an abrupt change from city to country. Probably a customary sight to Europeans, but startling to American eyes.
Traveling through the countryside, it was erie to see no houses, just empty landscape. Not a farmhouse or a building in sight. On enquiring, I learned that during the communist reign all the peasants and farmers had been rounded up and settled in the cities and towns — in apartments - the easier to watch them, I suppose. In the morning, they go out to work the fields, and in the evening they come back to their apartments in the city. I suppose they’re used to city-living by now and are spoiled.
During the communist era, as I was told, there were no private houses in Russia (excepting dachas for the ruling elite of the party). But apartments are not condusive to raising families. No wonder the decline in birth rates. One of the goals should be to get them settled in spacious, private houses again. Children need lots of room to grow and play. And frazzled parents don’t want them underfoot in a crowded apartment that they share with Grandma and Uncle Ivan.
I have been to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The quantity of stunningly beautiful women is amazing. Take a walk down Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg some summer evening. Frankly, I can’t figure out how the birth rate could be so low.
I have always admired the Russian people and their traditions. I see nothing wrong with the emphasis on raising the birthrate for the Caucasian people. It’s good for the country. Here in Texas, every Russian person I have met were exceptional people (smart, classy, and nice looking). They have consistently left a favorable impression on me.
Russians have never “turned the other cheek”.
I knew a nice Black American guy who had been in the US Navy and we commented about the various countries responses to Islamic terrorists, kidnapping etc.
He told me flat out that most everyone he knew understand to “never f*#$ with the Russians”.
The idea being there are few if any Jimmy Carter types in Russia and any terrorists who threaten, hurt, kill Russians the terrorist and all the terrorists’ family members, maybe the entire village of the terrorists would be hunted down, tortured and killed.

Russia is in many ways how a White nation should have been. Political correctness and liberalism has not taken a hold in Russian society. Some years back the Russian government banned the hiring of foreigners in the retail industry. And finally the Russian (and other Eastern) Orthodox Church remains nationalistic and one does not hear all that nonsense about helping Africa in its services something you come across repeatedly in Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian etc… services throughout the White world.
The future of whites everywhere may hinge on the success of Russia’s efforts. While Russia has a thousand problems, it seems to have the will to survive as a distinct people. I fear this will is gone in the United States and much of Western Europe. Loss of confidence always leads to the death of civilization.
As someone who spends much time in Russia, with Russian nationalst at that, this article is VERY misleading.
Russia is a land that comprises over 100 ethnicities. Whites do make the majority. However the increase in birth rates have been greatest amongst Muslims. The white birth rate has only slightly increased and with a current very bad economy is only going to go down.
The demographic crisis of white Russia is very real. Currently the Kremlin is trying to make Russian an adjective. Saying that anyone can be Russian, including the 100,000 Africans that reside in Russia as well as the millions of Asians. The former patriarch Alexey of the Russsian orthodox church took the same stance.
Russia is going the way of America 40 years ago. First the leftist cried human rights, then they allowed mass immigration, then they cried civil rights, then through pluralistic democracy white America began to disappear.
On Novemeber 4th, Russian Nationalist will be having their most important march in current Russian history. November 4th with either be the beginning or the end of Russia as a white nation. Russians will either wake up and realize the uniqueness of their genetic/ethic identity or they will perish as an “ideal”.. as a multicultural America based on little synapses of neurons in the brain rather than a genetic organic identity.
I really hate to rain on the parade, but Russia has 20% Muslims in its population not counting Armenians, they are not as hostile as western Muslims since they are mostly native, but google Tatar and Bashkir.

Part of the low white birthrate problem in the US and much of the West is the comfort in which whites live. Humans, no matter the race, tend to breed more often and faster under pressure. Pressure like wars, dire social situations, etc. Once whites realize they are under the gun, this will force the battle into the open. This will result in higher white birthrates. It sounds simplistic, but it is that simple. This terrifies the elites.
The difference between whites (and E. Asians) and the other races is that when living in comfort, birthrates for the most part slow down among the intelligent peoples. Among the welfare dependent and those enjoying the fruits of Affirmative Action, birthrates rise. Partly because they’re not really paying for it, and partly because the less intelligent are more impulsive, more promiscuous on average than smarter people.
I like the author’s comments about Russia’s sense of history and tradition. Contrast this with the USA and Western Europe where history is so politically correct and distorted that White youth have no sense of belonging to a great civilization.

Francis Pegahmagabow had 378 kills in WW1. I would be curious what sources you can cite. Here are some sites you may want to check out. snipercountry.com, wikipedia.org, and wio.ru. I also read the article in the NRA magazine being a life member, and a retired police officer who was a sniper on a S.W.A.T team for several years.
I know that when Putin first assumed office some years ago now, one of the first things he did was to order every 18 year old male in the country to have a physical exam. To ascertain the overall health of the military age youth. Previous sampling had found the society as a whole to be relatively unhealthy. Too much drink, smoking of cigs, poor and bland diet, environmental degredation, etc. Communism warped the mental state and did not provide the basics for sound health and fitness. All that oil wealth is now being put to good use? I would like to think so. The potentiality is there for real growth and for having a population that thrives. Remains to be seen if it will be realized on a massive scale.
What Russia is doing is admirable, and from a demographic standpoint, makes perfect sense. But why are they protecting their majority population, while we-the USA and Europe-neglect ours? Reason, in my opinion? We in the West, have been infected over the last forty years, with the propaganda of liberal multiculturalism. White westerners have been taught, from kindergarten through college, and afterword, to feel guilty of any consious racial solidarity. They refuse to think in terms of race for whites, and believe in encouraging non-whites to have racial feelings.
By contrast, Russia was also ruled under a leftist propaganda machine: Communism. But, unlike Western liberalism, Communist propaganda was never that effective. It was meant to give you an excuse to cower before the state, and obey. That is why it had to be backed by secret police, “re-education camps”, and the gulag. The Russian people themselves could see through it all, but kept silent until the day Communism fell. They were not brainwashed like we white Western people have been. Liberal propaganda is far more effective than Communist propaganda.

Accordong to Wikipedia, she had 309 confirmed kills, the most by any FEMALE sniper in wartime. The NRA mag “America’s First Freedom”, did an article on her (I believe Oct. 2007, or Oct. 2006) saying she had 376 kills.
Still, you must admit her kill total is impressive, when you compare Audie Murphy’s kills of some 240 (per Wikipedia on “Audie Murphy”) total. Now, I know Audie wasn’t a sniper, but he was the most decorated American soldier in World War II.
Why does anyone take the claims of Soviet historians seriously? In Stalin’s day they claimed that Russians had invented the airplane, the radio, the steam engine, etc. Why accept the claims that dozens of Red Army snipers each killed over 300 Germans?

I’m so sick and tired of hearing idiotic liberals say that we need to import countless millions of third-world immigrants to compensate for the low birth-rates in Western countries and pay taxes to support the elderly. Why have these liberals not even considered making efforts to encourage the native population to have more children? The Russians apparently have common sense (unlike all the multicultural sell-outs in America and western Europe), because they would rather counter the population decline by breeding more instead of importing millions of unassimiable aliens whose culture is very unlike our own.

I don’t applaud any of these “sniper kills”. What’s there to brag about?
To me, it’s disgusting.
While I sometimes enjoy Soprano Fan’s posts, he is waaaaay off on who the top sniper is / was. People keep listing Russians. Actually, the sniper with the most kills, in any war, is Simo Häyhä as noted above. Look him up. Case closed.
Comparing Audie Murphy or other war heroes to snipers is really apples and oranges. And for the most part, Murphy and others like him were clearly visible to the enemy, they were directly in harm’s way, and in situations that often had them thinking on their feet, not hiding in wait or dug in.
