On Thanksgiving morning, the top right-hand corner of this page quoted Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center on what he said was the reaction of hate groups to the dawning of the Age of Obama: “We’ve seen everything from cross-burnings on lawns of interracial couples to effigies of [President-elect Barack] Obama hanging from nooses to unpleasant exchanges in schoolyards. I think we’re in a worrying situation right now.”

Its business is fundraising, and its success at raking in the cash is based on its ability to sell gullible people on the idea that present-day America is awash in white racism and anti-Semitism, which it will fight tooth-and-nail as the public interest law firm it purports to be. {snip}
{snip} but what you probably don’t know about—and what the law center ignores—is the atrocity committed on an interracial couple in Winchester, Calif.: Marine Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak, a Polish immigrant, and his African-American bride of two months, Quiana Jenkins Pietrzak. Four African-American Marines, two of them under Sergeant Pietrzak’s command (including Emrys Justin John, 18, of Baltimore), are accused of breaking into the couple’s home and killing them both (one is also charged with a sex crime). In the weeks since the brutal murders, the media have been largely silent about the grisly incident. Would that be the case had the alleged perpetrators been white? Don’t be silly.
And as we have come to expect, the authorities won’t attribute the Pietrzaks’ deaths to “hate.” The Riverside County prosecutor’s office says the crime was motivated by robbery. {snip}
“Hate crimes,” as trumpeted by the likes of the Southern Poverty Law Center, are a questionable legal construct used almost exclusively against whites.
Hateful or not, interracial violent crime is overwhelmingly black on white or black on Asian. The Department of Justice’s figures show that between 2001 and 2003, blacks were 39 times more likely to commit violent crimes against whites than the reverse. Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.

Even if I didn’t already know the facts presented in this article, I didn’t need to read it to know the author’s opinion, because “racket” is in the title. And I agree with the assertion.
Of course we should ignore hate crimes agaisnt white people. There is no money in it! Trust me, most hate crimes are against white people, these laws are a farce. You give a white boy that commits vandalism more time then a minority that does an assault with a deadly weapon.
Good job, Ron Smith.
Lou Dobbs is saying the same thing on his T.V. show. Millions of us, however, know about it anyway, and are mystified as to how this brazenly biased, politically-driven organization has kept its tax exempt status, since obviously they’re pursuing an obvious political agenda. It’s really shameful and evil.
With the leftists controlling things even more now, I expect the SPLC to be even more brazen.
Most of the MSM use them as “experts” on hate groups, and they speak to police groups for free so they can prejudice their opinions of reputable civic groups that they perceive as detriments to achieving their perverted agenda.
Here again, however, the ongoing economic collapse may reduce their foolish, evil contributers to a small handful, because their wealth is being decimated by the plummeting financial situation, and in this way the falling economy may turn out to be more friend to us than foe.
Wow! Of course everything Ron Smith says is true, and the murders in Winchester are not even the tip of the iceberg, but it’s amazing that a mainstream newspaper had the courage to print this editorial.
The Baltimore Sun. I’m confused. That sounds like a “legitimate” (i.e. mainstream) newspaper. That can’t be right. There is no way that a regular paper would publish an article this rational.

The murder of the interracial couple in Winchester, Calif.seems typical of the disinterest in black hate crimes. The Knoxville Horror and the Wichita massacre were deemed not to be hate crimes. However, there was a huge focus on the Jena Six alleging racial discrimination despite the fact that the victim was white. Another area where blatant racial discrimination
And what about the homosexuals who had a effigy of Sarah Palin hanging from the roof of their house? They were quite proud of that, but not a word from the racial flim-flam artists from the SPLC.

The ‘racial justice” racket has been going on for over 30 years now. At one time, there was a legitimate reason to treat blacks like victims. Now it’s just a disgusting farce. It’s astonishing that hate crimes are even constitutional. Where is the equal protection under the law when it comes to prosecuting whites worse for the same crime that is far more often commited by blacks?
I agree. It’s very positive change to see an article of this nature featured in a mainstream newspaper.
Most people do not seem to realize that the “news” is a product, and a business sells it, just as non-profit civil rights organizations sell a product — fear and its banishment.

The SPLC is the country’s best funded hate group.
They hate the Minutemen, because they believe that, like Mexico, our country has the right to control who does and does not enter it.

‘Wonderful comments, I’m inspired by the number of people waking up to the vast sea of truth hiding beneath the media-manufactured lies of the world.
Here are some more incredibly important facts:
Whites today make up only 10% of world population, by 2100 the UN has predicted we will only be 1% of world population. Massive third world immigration and disproportionate birth rates will within our children’s/grandchildren’s lifetime finalize the worldwide extinction of the white race. Whites are facing a worldwide genocide of territory loss, economic enslavement, demoralization and demonization, and ultimately criminal/terrorist violence against our people.

There must be a problem with white crime in Baltimore. We have to be reminded that crime is the province of people of color. Those getting into white-pride must be especially reminded of this, first and foremost above all other issues facing whites.
Who could have imagined such a news story? It’s almost beyond belief. Apparently, the media is even willing to print the truth as a last resort. Because a crime against a person of color somewhere would be a real crime.

There couldn’t possibly be a more unspiritual organization than the SPLC unless it’s the ACLU, and in my book that puts the lie to all the talk by these organizations of all the humanitarian type work they do that helps society.
And let’s not forget that it was in Baltimore where white passengers on Baltimore public busses were being targeted and beaten by gangs of black youths this past year.
This is utterly amazing. The Baltimore Sun is an ultra-liberal, conservative-hating rag fit only for lining the bottom of a pet’s cage. I can’t believe that an article of this nature slipped through the censor’s desk.
Some time ago I would’ve agreed that Baltimore is the home of anti-white hate crimes. However, now it’d be a misnomer to term them as such; blacks prey on whites with such frequency here that it’s an everyday occurrence.
I have a lot of contact with the black community here on a day-to-day basis. Most of the young black males see whites as “targets of opportunity” for harassment, rudeness, and the like. It’s a fact of life for whites, and they do nothing to counter it.
Every patriotic American who values our Constitution, our heritage and our way of life needs to ask himself the following questions: Why are the members of the Southern Poverty Law Center still walking around above ground? Why are the members of the ACLU still walking around above ground? Why are the members of LaRaza still walking around above ground?
“Hate” is a human emotion and the Marxist’s strive to replace human emotions with communist doctrine. God has given man the ability to ‘hate”, just as he has given man the ability to “love”. No communist atheist has the right to take from man that which God has given…
