Former TV Exec: ‘Straight, White Males’ Should Be Banned from Voting

An author and former executive who used to run several media companies was just caught on camera declaring that “straight, white males” not only shouldn’t vote, they should have their voting rights stripped away by the government.

{snip} Steven Clifford openly bragged about his views during a speaking forum.

“I think it’s the only hope for democracy in America and I will be leading a great movement to prohibit straight, white males, who I believe supported Donald Trump by about 85 percent, from exercising the franchise,” he declared to a PJ Media journalist.

Clifford is {snip} the former CEO of two media brands: King Broadcasting Company which operates television stations on the West Coast, and National Mobile Television, a TV production company.

The forum where Clifford made his appalling statement, with the snooze-inducing title “Destroying the Myths of Market Fundamentalism,” took place Oct. 19 in Washington, D.C. It was organized by Ralph Nader, the far-left Green Party activist and four-time presidential candidate.

Audio of the discussion strongly suggests that Clifford was completely serious about his proposal. He even confirmed to the reporter that he had said it and made sure the audience knew he was talking about straight white men.

It should go without saying that blocking millions of citizens from voting based on their race and sexual orientation is not only the opposite of democracy, it’s the very thing that liberals would normally rally against.

On Monday, CNN blowhard Don Lemon went on a rant against white males, and seemed disappointed that there wasn’t a ban on them.

“[T]he biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them,” Lemon declared on live television. “There is no white guy ban.”
