Juan Manuel Montes Bojorquez, 23, was arrested near Calexico, CA. He became famous as the supposed first person protected by DACA to have been deported by the Trump administration. {snip}

But U.S. Homeland Security officials said Montes had not been deported but had returned to Mexico voluntarily, causing him to lose his DACA privileges. He dropped the lawsuit in October; the National Immigration Law Center claimed the “litigation has been a taxing experience” for Montes, so he had decided to remain in Mexico.

Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim said, “Our agents witnessed and arrested Mr. Bojorquez making an illegal entry into the United States for the second time this year. Border Patrol Agents will always stop, detain, and arrest anyone making an illegal entry into the country irrespective of their immigration or citizenship status.”
