A Letter from Jared Taylor to Teresa Maria Linda Scholz

Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, May 5, 2017

Dear Teresa Maria Linda Scholz,

My name is Jared Taylor. I am the editor of American Renaissance, the organization that published the flyers that will be the subject of your meeting on May 15. I very much appreciate that you wish to sponsor a discussion about “the historical context needed to understand the arguments these flyers make,” but I suspect that your speakers will all have the same — and in my view, mistaken — understanding of that context. In the interests of intellectual diversity, it would be my pleasure to participate in the discussion. If you really wish to understand these posters, surely there is no better way than to ask the people who created them.

I note with interest that you want both “people of color” and “European Americans” to “feel save and valued on campus,” and that you invite concrete suggestions as how this can be achieved. Here, too, I suspect you are likely to have little diversity of views, and I would like to offer my perspective.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Jared Taylor, American Renaissance
