Police: Man Stabs Two After Asking About Religious Beliefs

Abby Ohlheiser, Washington Post, February 17, 2015

A Detroit man stabbed two people at a suburban bus stop after asking his victims whether or not they were Muslim, according to police. Federal authorities are now looking at the case as a potential hate crime, police said on Tuesday.

Both of the victims were standing at the bus stop outside of Detroit with the suspect on Saturday, Southfield Police Chief Eric Hawkins said. Several people there “engaged in conversation” until the suspect, identified by Hawkins as 39-year-old Terrence Lavaron Thomas, “asked some of the folks there if they were Muslims.”

Two of them answered, the chief told The Post on Tuesday: They were not Muslims.

Thomas “was not not happy with that answer,” Hawkins said. Shortly after, “without provocation,” Thomas pulled out a 3-inch folding knife “and attacked one of them,” Hawkins said.

Both victims are in their early 50s. One was stabbed five times in the attack. The other was stabbed in the hand as he tried to stop the attack, Hawkins said. Both were released from the hospital with “non-life threatening injuries.”

Thomas then fled the scene, Hawkins said. Police arrested him “within minutes.” He was carrying two knives–one of which appeared to be the one used in the attack–and some marijuana, according to Hawkins.

Thomas was charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, one count of carrying a dangerous weapon, and one count of possession of a controlled substance–all state charges.

Thomas could face a state charge of ethnic intimidation as well, Hawkins said, but county prosecutors were still determining whether it would be added or not.

Blacks and Islam (aka The Religion Of Pieces), are so compatible, for too many reasons to even start listing here.

(However, if you’re reading AmRen, you already know most – if not all – the reasons anyway.)

Yep, MD69, have a PhD plus post doc fellowship in both negrology and mestizology, awaiting committee’s pass on muzzology doctoral Thesis.
[Am still mad for you, MD; cannot help m’self.]

        <3 Doc…

    I was born in Southfield….

Hamtramck used to be a Polish enclave, now it’s all Muslims. Dearborn is pretty well gone. When I lived in the suburb of Oak Park (1976-1983) I saw plenty of Muslims (known as Chaldeans).

    • ZB01

“Chaldeans” are Catholics from Iraq; they are emphatically not Islamic and never have been. They have suffered and managed to survive for centuries under the domination of the Crescent.

Many refugees lie about their religious status, ethnic status, or sexual orientation to ride the gravy boat/train into the West.

      • Alexandra1973

I’ve heard that too. Still, the point is there are lots of Arabs in the Detroit area.

Let’s try for the best portmanteau of Black and Islam, go go go!

          • Speedy Steve

Come on, moderator! My comment was not offensive. Unless mocking a dope-head like Snoop Dog is off limits.

You can feel the PC creep into Amren even.

          • John Smith

There’s more PC here than many other conservative-leaning sites, including Gateway Pundit.

          • I am the opposite of PC, but I completely know when to STFU. This costs me nothing.

          • Get used to it. They do things for their own reasons.

This is how no-go zones start… or continue…

    • Most of us don’t into black areas anyway, Muzzlimitard or not.

There might have been a time when I’d have gone to a Harlem nightclub to see Ella Fitzgerald or Duke Ellington, but venturing into the hood to see Kanye West is no longer necessary, and besides, no rapper is worth my money. I now long for the days when tawnies preferred to avoid White areas.

Imagine what it would be like if Muslim men started proselytizing door to door like Mormon missionaries or Jehovah’s Witnesses.

    • They’d get chopped to collops at my doorstep. I’m polite to Mormons. One of the Mormon neighbors criticized me for doing garden work on a Sunday. “What are you, some sort of atheist?” she asked. I just love vegetable gardening, and pretty much everything else I do, so that doesn’t really count as work, does it? I never see JW types here except at the public library on Montebello. We completely hate Islam, however. There will be no Muslims here, not walking anyway.

      • JohnEngelman

I like Mormons, especially Mormon missionaries. When I was nineteen years old I was proselytized for six months by Mormon missionaries.

I have read The Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and the Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. Mormons consider these to be as sacred as the Bible, which naturally I have read too.

        • One of my undergrad Mormon friends liked coffee and dancing, though he wouldn’t touch alcohol, while I got myself completely plastered once a week. Greg liked the gal I dated my last year. She was probably medically crazy, but had her good moments, so while 25 years later I am very happy I packed my car and drove back to Colorado, I can say the following:

          I liked her cooking.

I am very glad that Greg didn’t pick up. She enjoys hurting guys, and it would have devastated him.

Note to anyone: I have not used her name or any part of it.

“Excuse me, sir, do you have a moment to talk about Mohammed? He shagged a 9-year-old, had elevens wives and tens of sex slaves, and occasionally raided pagan caravans to finance jihad.”

      If they do . . . I’m a Muslim!

    • LexiconD1

My first boyfriend was a Mormon. They are odd, but some of the nicest people I ever met.
My ex’s mom use to send me virginity pamphlet through the mail…I was all of 13, not something she needed to worry about. However, my ex, and his second girlfriend, ended up getting pregnant in high school, they married (still are today) and doing very very well.

Those dead, soulless eyes reveal demonic possession. And Southfield is rapidly becoming Die-troilet.

If a demon moved into that vacant head, it would be gentrifying.

Quite the tragic mulatto. He looks whiter than Malcolm X.

Actually he looks yellow .. “high yellow” ..lol

    • Who Me?

Why in the name of God would anybody even talk to something that looks like that? It’s got “crazy” written all over it.

They’re so silly I’m a little surprised the black leadership isn’t using this photo along with a caption underneath to get across their message that “Whitey is Holding Us Back.”
