Gang Offers to Arrange Sham Gay Weddings for Immigration Cheats

Keith Perry, Telegraph (London), September 22, 2014

Criminal gangs were offering to arrange sham gay weddings for people wanting to bypass immigration controls within weeks of same sex marriages being made legal in March, a report said.

An investigation by the BBC programme Inside Out discovered that one gang organises sham gay marriages for a £10,000 fee.

Peter and Ricardo, the gang’s leaders, told undercover reporters they had “fixed” weddings “lots of times”.

They offered two potential fake Romanian brides to the reporter, both of whom explicitly stated they were not lesbians but were willing to pretend to be gay and marry anyone for cash.

One of the girls, Alexandra, said she had organised six previous sham weddings and knew how to deceive immigration officers.

She said: “We have to declare we live together . . . That’s not gonna happen but that’s what we have to declare.”

She said she could also arrange a “romantic” photo shoot of the undercover reporter and herself, designed to persuade the authorities that they were in a genuine relationship and said “we gonna like, hold hands, hold each other . . . we have to.”

The number of reported sham weddings has trebled in recent years, according to the Home Office.

Mark Rimmer, head of Registration and Nationality Services at Brent Council, said: “Here in Brent, the Home Office stops marriages on a weekly basis.

“In many boroughs in London the thought is that up to 20 to 30 per cent of marriages are actually for the avoidance of immigration control.”

But these statistics only account for straight fake weddings.

Mr Rimmer said: “I think it is probably more difficult to spot the signs if you have a same sex couple whether they be male or female.”

The gang investigated by Inside Out claimed that breaking the law by fixing sham gay marriages was easy.

Ricardo said he had never had any problems with the police or immigration officers.

He said: “You say ‘I am gay’. No more questions for you. Easy for gay.”

Minister for Immigration and Security, James Brokenshire, said he was disturbed by the Inside Out London report and had ordered his enforcement teams to launch an investigation into sham gay weddings as a result.

He said: “Registrars will be given new powers later this year to better identify all fraudulent marriages.”

  • “Sham gay marriages”

    Redundant.

    • propagandaoftruth

It could be like that movie.

Hey man, let’s get married. No homo – just want to make sure you’re insured, buddy. We can even go on double dates til we find real females then get an amicable divorce.

We can both have the gold mine AND the shaft!

      You beat me to it.

How does Amren posters feel about homosexuality? What role will homosexuals have in a white ethnostate?

    • me

You’re new around here, aren’t you?

    • LHathaway

      On the bottom?

      • Kenner

        Cold….but funny-

    • 1stworlder

Some see them as victims of leftist brainwashing. You can look up a David Duke video that explains it.

    • Legalized and approved sodomy is a death sentence for any society.

    • Paleoconn

Fair question. There have been homos for as long as there have been White ethnostates. So it can work again, except we will go back to how things were, no right lobby, no marriage, no homo entertainment.

    • GeneticsareDestiny

I don’t mind homosexuals. I don’t believe being homosexual is a choice, so in my view, they cannot help being what they are. However, I don’t believe that a “marriage” between two people of the same sex is a real marriage.

In my ideal white ethnostate, white homosexuals would be welcome to live there in peace, but there would be no gay marriage or state-funded transgender reassignment surgeries.

      • redpill99

what about their political identity? a lot of white lezbos are with black feminsit lezbos. non-whites isn’t a choice either and many white women like black guys and white guys asian women

        • GeneticsareDestiny

Well, in a white ethnostate, there wouldn’t be any blacks or Asians to date, so if they wanted to do that, they’d have to leave the country to find some. And I can’t see very many liberal gays who want to miscegenate moving to a white ethnostate in the first place, anyway, so I don’t foresee this being a massive problem.

          • LHathaway

I would disagree. The goal would be to reduce the number of Single adults of color in a white ethnostate, as Enoch Powell has suggested. If they are married to a white, and as a whole they are not that great a number, this would potentially be a benefit to whites as a group/race. If there were a divorce, they would have to leave. Since whites are as a whole are such desirable partners, we would of course be getting the best admixture of color. As long this is done at a slow, controlled, gradual, limited pace this would improve aspects of the white race while still leaving us white.

I am a gay man of pure Northern European heritage (I have the genome report which verifies this) and a race realist. If the movement is to be a success it must welcome all white people who accept the reality of human biodiversity.

      • Douglas Quaid

Why does the movements success depend upon accepting deviant sexual expressions?

    • Douglas Quaid

Reading the comments on Amren every time this homosexual issue comes up I see a lot of postmodern moral relativism when it comes to the homosexual stuff. People are quick to talk about the genetic deficiencies of blacks, but don’t see homosexual expression as being either genetically or behaviorally deviant from the norm (this assume there is such a thing as normal and postmoderns are unable to affirm this). In supporting homosexuality people are closer to the Leftist egalitarian nonsense than they would like to think.

      • Jonesy Jones

Yes, being gay deviates from the norm but being left handed or having green eyes and red hair (as I do) also deviates from the norm. What’s your point?

  • Christorchaos

“Gay marriage. What harm could it possibly do?”.

“Gangs offer to arrange sham gay weddings for immigration cheat”

Imagine transporting this newspaper back in time 40 years. It would seem so bizarre it wouldn’t even register as humor or satire.

  • One of the Mexican girls I knew at the University of Texas at San Antonio told me that she’d been offered $10,000 to participate in a sham wedding to get a muzzie into the USA legally. She said it’s common.

The law needs to be changed. You marry a thurd world creep, you go live in his country because he’s not allowed to live here.

    • Simonetta

I once read of a German girl who married a Palestinian and shocked that the Israeli people were rude to her and wouldn’t let her and her husband live in Israel proper.

      Can’t imagine why.

    • CLB11267

I got one even worse. I know a Korean guy named Mr Kim who immigrated to the US through legit methods. He starts a business, makes a decent income and gets all the “good stuff”. On one of his regular calls back to the Korea he talks to his sister and she says she wants in on the action too.

Well, Mr Kim walks her through the basics and she starts on the normal pathway. However, his sister is impatient and wants to short circuit the process. What do they do? Mr Kim marries his sister in a courthouse wedding; voila, instant Green Card!!

Sounds bizarre, right? Not necessarily to Koreans. You see, they don’t consider a marriage to be real unless it is conducted in a house of worship and officiated by some sort of ordained cleric. Justice of the Peace weddings are just pretend in their view.

      • Magician

If it is that easy to get the green card, and they do not even check if the “bride” is not the groom’s own biological sister, then why are Mexicans (or any legal immigrant for that matter) in this country not bringing all their sisters (or brothers) here in the States using the same method?

        • CLB11267

Dunno. Could be a cultural thing. It could be the immigration “rules” changed making this sort of immigration method impossible or at least difficult.

          • Magician

“Dunno. Could be a cultural thing. It could be the immigration “rules” changed making this sort of immigration method impossible or at least difficult.”

Once again you are not making any sense.

Since when did “a cultural thing” enable a person to simply acquire the green card that easily and that quickly?

This is what I think you are saying.

The Korean woman said to the American immigration services, “Hey it is a cultural thing. Give me my green card now. I married my biological brother”. And then the American Immigration services responded, “Oh really, ok! right away! Here is your green card. We understand it is a cultural thing.”

I see a lot of European students, East Asian students, and African students being forced to go home once they earn their degree in America, which is also when their visa expires. The American immigration policies are very tough even for well-educated and law-abiding students who pay tremendous amounts money to attend American schools.

          • KenelmDigby

            Good.

          • LHathaway

You truly are a magician if you believe that. American immigration policies are ‘so tough’, there are 40 million people living in America right now who are foreign born. Add illegals to that and the total could be closer to 60 million.

  • ckmariner

This is hilarious. I can just imagine a huge lineup of “homosexual couples” at the government offices with guilty looks on their faces while everyone in the government office obviously knows what’s going on but can’t really say anything about it!

  • IstvanIN

Do they check to see if there have been multiple weddings? Is there some central registry? Does the same guy/girl have multiple spouses of various genders? That is the real problem here, that the government doesn’t make sure the marriages are legitimate (consummated?) and not just a business. And do they actually punish people who engage in sham marriages? There was a Nigerian Anglican priest not too long back engaged in this sort of thing in England, although his were allegedly traditional marriages. In an age of computers it is extremely easy to compile and maintain nationwide records of just about anything and sham marriages should be next to impossible.

  • KenelmDigby

Britain must exit the EU as soon as possible.
What is happening is that citizens of other, poorer EU states – have no ties of love, loyalty or affection with Britain, are flooding into Britain by the millions, and see these bogus marriages – which are made with overwhelmingly third world wannabe immigrants to Britain, as an easy way to make quick cash. There are an infinite number of east Euro EU citizens, with full civil rights to enter the UK and to marry. There is an equally infinite number of third world scammers eager to marry them, to stay in the UK, for spot cash.
The current EU dictated situation is utter madness and must be ended as a matter of urgency.

  • Haereticus

Who didn’t see this coming? Another very good reason to scrap the legislation that has permitted the farce of ‘gay’ weddings.

  • CLB11267

I guess I’m an outrider! I have a bachelors degree and a law degree and queers annoy the crap out of me!
