The Black Entertainment Television Awards is distancing itself from the violence that erupted at several parties for people attending the ceremony Sunday night.
The events were not sanctioned by BET.
The most recent shooting reportedly broke out about 2:30 a.m. Monday outside the Supper Club on Hollywood Boulevard.
TMZ reports that many famous rappers were in the club at the time, including Busta Rhymes, Game, Meek Mil and T-Pain.
No one was injured and the shooter escaped.
Early Sunday morning, about 5:17 a.m., one person was killed and four others were injured in a separate shooting at the Monalizza Restaurant and Banquet in East Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
It was not immediately clear whether the gunman attended the party or shot from outside the venue, police said.
