The man who police say plowed his car through SXSW on Thursday night, leaving two people dead and 23 injured, is reportedly an aspiring rapper who was set to perform a late-night show in Austin.

Rashad Charjuan Owens was set to play a 1 a.m. show at Club 1808 near 12th and Chicon Streets, his brother told the Austin American-Statesman. Owens, 21, raps under the name KillingAllBeatz or K.A.B254.

Owens’ brother Lamar Wilson told the paper he last saw Owens on Wednesday evening and can’t believe what happened, initially thinking his younger brother had been arrested for driving without a license.

{snip}

Wilson said Owens had been drinking and didn’t know the streets of Austin.

Owens has several misdemeanor arrests in Killeen, Texas, roughly 70 miles north of Austin, and Fairbanks, Alaska, where one of his sons lives, the Statesman reported.

In October 2011, he was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and a petition to revoke probation, according to Fairbanks records obtained by the Statesman. {snip}

I saw this story twice on line and on the evening news. None of them showed the suspect. When I saw the photos of the victims and the venue, I assumed the suspect was white.

    • Pelagian

I thought for a while there that liberal Austin was setting a Guinness Book record for Longest Suppression of a Mug Shot for Racial Reasons.

But then I finally found a couple.

      • crapps

It’s funny, I write the littlest thing derogatory about race
        and I get the mods kind attention . . . . …..

      • JohnEngelman

When I look at those photos I want to say, “That’s him, Officer. I’m sure of it.”

      • This aspiring rapper’s mug shot bares a striking resemblance to another reprehensible headline star of the day, just a coincidence I guess.

    • Ronald

That is exactly what “the news” wants you to assume.

      • roadgeek

First mug I saw, and I had to look for it, was in the Mirror, an English paper. But the mug shot was a moot point after I saw the name. and 6 kids by the age of 21. I can’t begin to comprehend the culture that produces a Rashad Owens.

    • HamletsGhost

Didn’t the “Charjuan” part tip you off?

    • The Verdict of History

Oh! How wonderful it is to see our fellow citizens beaming with such energy and ambition!

  • EngelmansBoyfriend

    A photo of the criminal.

  • This may be just a coincidence, but the SXSW in 2006 is when Twitter really hit its critical mass of being a popularly accepted and used social networking service.

  • Pelagian

    Char-Juan should be a Charred-One

Wonder if this changes those hipsters’ worldview any?

    • Oil Can Harry

His brother said he “didn’t know the streets of Austin”

Right, because whenever I get lost I drive my car into 25 people.

      • r j p

        Probably dropped his blunt.
Or he the seat so far back that he couldn’t see over the dashboard.

    • blight14

This will have ZERO bearing on the mindset of the ‘hipsters’, ‘progressives’, ‘liberals’, etc…..per Paul Kersery, the DWL’s (disingenuous white liberals), likely more of a threat to our society than even the ‘youths’ themselves.

    • dean53

No. NOTHING will change hipsters’ world view. They’d rather be dead than politically incorrect and scorned. They are too weak to handle derision by the Cool In-Crowd. Better dead than Red.

  • Sloppo

Some murder convictions and jail time will give him street cred and help his rap career take off.

  • Magician

In the eyes of liberals and feminists all black men in this world are aspiring rappers

    • saxonsun

I’m a proud and happy gay white woman, a true feminist. You are incorrect.

      • Guest

Do you mean you are homosexual?

But anyways, last evening in Toronto, I saw a very beautiful blond woman with a fantastic figure going out with two homosexual men. One was white and the other appeared to be West Asian.

A very beautiful woman told me in the past that she sometimes likes spending time with gay men in a gay bar because she does not have to be worried about getting hit on

        • Katherine McChesney

Women who ‘run’ with homosexuals are called ‘fag-hags’ and they’re usually women who do not mix well with heterosexual men. Many times they are unattractive and overweight.

  • r j p

Rashad Charjuan Owens and Lamar Wilson are brothers?
But they don’t have the same last name. I am confused.

But I am sure Rashad Charjuan Owens supports that Eskimo son in Alaska, and his others.

    • Magician

      Same mother different dads?

      • Das it.
        Da same birf mama.

      • CaptainCroMag

No, probably same dad, different moms. It’s not likely that the illegitimate kids would take the dad’s last name.

        • Max

It gets complicated real fast: could be same dad-different sistas, same dad-mother/daughter, two bruthas-same mommy & c.

  • crapps

    Nice place Bruh . . . . .1808 near 12th and Chicon Streets

    • r j p

Club 1808, where he was to rap, is actually the gray place next to Club Fourty Lounge. But Club Fourty Lounge looks like a nice place too, in a nice neighborhood. Look at how patriotic the neighbors are.

      • Tim_in_Indiana

Yeah, ya gotta love the purple-painted chain link fence of the “patriotic” household.

Of course I shouldn’t laugh at such “vibrant” diversity—the kind that liberals flee from but want the rest of us to embrace.

        Fantastic!

    • SoulInvictus

      Awwww hell…
      Google Erf ya’ll.

  • Katherine McChesney

He has all the qualifications for a rapper.

  • kjh64

Yes, the Austin papers and news suppressed the photo and name of the suspect. It was only when they said the 21-year-old father of six, THEN I knew he was Black. When they finally published his name “Rashad Charjuan Owen, that doubly confirmed it. No picture necessary.

    • r j p

21 year old father of six?
Next will find out two baby mommas got in a fight in the maternity ward.

  • Zimriel

    “KillingAllBeatz”

I guess “PlowinThruHippiez” would have been too obvious.

  • blight14

Yet another example of the extremely high costs associated with ‘free labor’……..

  • Garrett Brown

    “killinallindastreetz”

  • The state of Texas takes a dim view of almost everything. For a drunk-driving criminally-negligent manslaughter here in Colorado he’d get 15 years and serve 10.

    • Max

Does that apply to border-jumpers, their favorite enrichers (after homosexuals)?

  • Pro_Whitey

The most unfortunate aspect of this story is that this guy has already been breeding, with more than one child. Ugh.

    • bilderbuster

Blacks are worse than the Hydra where you cut a head off & it grows two more.
This aspiring rapper may be out of circulation but he left six more & you know our taxes were already paying to raise them.

      • Pelagian

an aspiring rapper makes nothing, Even a celebrity rapper is chain-poor and Benz-poor.

    • Rhialto

Perhaps it is unfortunate, but American women consider KAB54 to be prime breeding stock. He is Black and a musician. What more could a modern American woman want?

  • JackKrak

Another sing that no one in the media gets it – “aspiring rapper” is at the top of the list of terms that provoke a completely different reaction than the one they intend

  • dean53

21 years old with SIX children??! Undoubtedly all provided for courtesy of white & Asian tax-payers. This is why I am for abortion.

    • He needs to be locked up for a while just to slow him down a bit, but then I suppose there’s still conjectural visits.
It’s certainly depressing to think that with all of our high fluting talk and aspirations in wanting to create nice environments for our offspring.
That during the same time in the back ground, you have people like this, going “bang” another baby born, “bang” another baby born,”bang” another baby born, “bang” another baby born, “bang” another baby born, “bang” another baby born……and so on.
Aspiring rapper maybe, but an accomplished a-hole leech whose created six more (and counting) future problems for Right wingers to lament and progressives to ‘gently’ try to fix(i.e. throw your money at).

    • Magician

If black men keep on having five kids or more it is only a matter of time before blacks are more than 50% of the population and the welfare system collapses (or it already has?)

    • capnmorgan5150

Yep, seems like the garbage people are doing all the procreating these days.

  • MekongDelta69

The headline is too good to be true…

An ‘aspring rapper’ is… wait for it… wait for it… An actual ‘aspiring rapper.’

Rashad Charjuan Owens brother Lamar Wilson.

Do you mean ‘brother,’ as in black, or do you mean ‘brother,’ as in ‘brother from another baby-daddy’?!

  • I think the sentences would run concurrently here, but I’m not in a big hurry to find out firsthand. I do all my serious drinking at home or with the neighbors, and then I either stay home or walk home. At my mother’s house, we’re visiting for a week. I have one DUI, but there won’t be any more. They gave me 30 days in the county jail, and since I got into a fight working in the kitchen, it ended up being 45. I also got 84 hours of classes – for which I had to pay – and 60 hours of community service for the DUI and 24 more for the fight. No fine.

    No thanks!

    • Rhialto

I have lived in a semi-rural area for over 20 years. When I first moved here there were many road houses. Most have closed because of DUI fears. The only ones open cater to Hispanics, who seem to have no DUI fear.

      • In many jurisdictions, road houses are now civilly liable for any accidents their customers cause. In other words, not only is government now our babysitter, but our bartenders are expected to be as well.

  • Lord Sandwich

When I lived in Austin for most of the 1980’s I avoided the SXSW crowds like the plague. I went back to 6th St after the visiting hordes left town. This happens on the heels of the recent Liveleak video of blacks assaulting whites in the nightclub district. Austin’s title of “The Live Music Capital of the US” depends on audiences coming out at night. When I eventually moved home to Cleveland, “The Flats” entertainment district was booming with nightlife, restaurants, and concerts galore. Guess what happened? Blacks invaded the scene and people started dying. It didn’t take long for the patrons to abandon what was once a vibrant white youth music scene. The entire district collapsed. Now, many years later developers are dividing up the empty remains. Blacks destroy white culture and enterprise at every turn. This vehicle incident was not the only black mayhem at SXSW. There was a riot incited by a rapper named Tyler.

    • For a little while the club scene in downtown Colorado Springs had a reputation for violence, with blacks causing it. I’m not sure about now. The city police are pretty vigilant about DUIs, and none of the city buses run after 7:00 PM, only limited routes on Saturdays and no service on Sundays. This means that if one is planning to get inebriated downtown and not drive, getting home means an expensive taxi ride. That’s got to be a serious disincentive to going there for entertainment.

  • John K

Well, you know how those Austin libtards love diversity. They just got a big dose of it.

    • TXCriollo

south austin not the rest of us like diversity

  • Michael Mason

I think white people are starting to understand that we shouldn’t be sharing a society with these subhumans.

  • GenX Antipodean

I have a now six and eight year old and I assure you that it gets easier, but when they go to sleep is when you feel normal again.
Re this guy above, I just can not relate, it’s like he doesn’t value his own genes, so why should we?
Sometimes saying we’re equal is an insult to the majority.

  • dd121

Outs my ways MFs, Izz be rappin’.
