GOP Crafts Plan to Wreck the Country, Lose Voters

Ann Coulter, Townhall, January 29, 2014

As House Republicans prepare to sell out the country on immigration this week, Phyllis Schlafly has produced a stunning report on how immigration is changing the country. The report is still embargoed, but someone slipped me a copy, and it’s too important to wait.

Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. What does it mean for the Republican Party?

Citing surveys from the Pew Research Center, the Pew Hispanic Center, Gallup, NBC News, Harris polling, the Annenberg Policy Center, Latino Decisions, the Center for Immigration Studies and the Hudson Institute, Schlafly’s report overwhelmingly demonstrates that merely continuing our current immigration policies spells doom for the Republican Party.

Immigrants–all immigrants–have always been the bulwark of the Democratic Party. For one thing, recent arrivals tend to be poor and in need of government assistance. Also, they’re coming from societies that are far more left-wing than our own. History shows that, rather than fleeing those policies, they bring their cultures with them. {snip}

This is not a secret. For at least a century, there’s never been a period when a majority of immigrants weren’t Democrats.

At the current accelerated rate of immigration–1.1 million new immigrants every year–Republicans will be a fringe party in about a decade.

{snip}

According to a Harris poll, 81 percent of native-born citizens think the schools should teach students to be proud of being American. Only 50 percent of naturalized U.S. citizens do.

While 67 percent of native-born Americans believe our Constitution is a higher legal authority than international law, only 37 percent of naturalized citizens agree.

{snip}

The two largest immigrant groups, Hispanics and Asians, have little in common economically, culturally or historically. But they both overwhelmingly support big government, Obamacare, affirmative action and gun control.

{snip}

Overall, 69 percent of immigrants like Obamacare, according to a 2010 Cooperative Congressional Election Study.

That same survey showed that only 35 percent of native-born Americans support affirmative action, compared to 58 percent of immigrants, including–amazingly–64 percent of Asians (suggesting they may not be as smart as everyone thinks).

Also surprising, a Pew Research Center poll of all Hispanics, immigrant and citizen alike, found that Hispanics take a dimmer view of capitalism than even people who describe themselves as “liberal Democrats.” While 47 percent of self-described “liberal Democrats” hold a negative view of capitalism, 55 percent of Hispanics do.

Pew also found that only 27 percent of Hispanics support gun rights, compared to 57 percent of non-Hispanic whites. According to Latino Decisions, large majorities of Hispanics favor a national database of gun owners, limiting the capacity of magazines and a ban on semiautomatic weapons.

Seventy-five percent of Hispanic immigrants and 55 percent of Asian immigrants support bigger government–also according to Pew. Even after three generations in America, Hispanics still support bigger government 55 percent to 36 percent, compared to the general public, which opposes bigger government 48 percent to 41 percent.

How are Republicans going to square that circle? It’s not their position on amnesty that immigrants don’t like; it’s Republicans’ support for small government, gun rights, patriotism, the Constitution and capitalism.

Reading these statistics, does anyone wonder why Democrats think vastly increasing immigration should be the nation’s No. 1 priority?

{snip}

The only ones opposed to our current immigration policies are the people.

It is all about race and as long as no politicians talk about it, the country is doomed. The reason why they–legal immigrants and illegal aliens–care nothing for America and her first principles is because their forefathers had nothing to do with making this country. Dum@*ss in the White House is a prime example of what am talking about.

    • Dave4088

Conservatives lose because they only oppose legal and illegal immigration on economic and Constitutional, rather than racial, grounds. To the Marxist left, it’s about race and always has been.

      • SoulInvictus

Economic grounds are all they need if they would persuasively put forward the argument that it hurts American poor and that we can’t afford to take on all the refugees of the third world. To oppose it on racial grounds would be political suicide for a candidate and party.

        • Dave4088

Well the anti-white left can support and promote it on racial grounds and it’s not suicide. Funny how that works.

          • SoulInvictus

Very true. But doing it my way wins political support of any low wage Americans with common sense. Tell the blacks the EBT will get cut in half to share with all their new mexican neighbors and you could suck away a huge chunk of the Dem base.
The strange bedfellows the immigration issue could end up making for…

          • Dave4088

I agree with you, but white people also need to be made to understand that this tsunami of non-whites into N. America will lead to physical extinction and that we are not the same under the skin. This is where the race neutral conservatives fail miserably since they, too, have been infected with racial equality.

          • SoulInvictus

I don’t disagree, but it wouldn’t be well received via mass media yet. It’ll have to be a more blatant problem. Once the first European country becomes a majority muslim hellhole and starts public beheadings, and the French/German/English or whoever go full bore against it, then it will be more open.
In the meantime, spreading the word in a sane sounding way to non-coworkers could start warming minds to be receptive of the inevitable.

By that time though, I’d expect there to be open hostilities somewhere anyway. Crossing my fingers that Iran hasn’t advanced their favorite defense program further by then.
It’s a big reason I have mixed sentiments on the whole Israel topic… on one hand, sure there are the Rothschild financial elements, on the other hand, Israel is a heavily armed outpost against the Islamic threat. And in that endeavor, I wish them all the luck in the world.

  • Easily Ann Coulter’s best column in a while, worth reading the whole thing. And as someone that hates her guts, it takes a lot for me to write that.

Since this was Drudge’s main course yesterday evening, I knew conservative talk radio would be pretty much all immigration all the time today, and it mostly was, thankfully.

She says of Phyllis Schlafly’s upcoming report:

At the current accelerated rate of immigration–1.1 million new immigrants every year–Republicans will be a fringe party in about a decade.

If I know Phyllis Schlafly as well as I do, I think she’s making the assumption that the percentage of white people who vote Republican can’t get much higher. The state of Mississippi proves otherwise; the right kind of white people will vote almost monolithically for a party that really isn’t ideal for them and really doesn’t serve their best interests, if the other option is black rule.

    • NeanderthalDNA

What happened to the Repugnant Party in less than a decade and a half?

They used to own the debate, the propaganda, which as a former liblefty Demonrat, galled and worried me no end.

But today I wake up and see utter disarray and incompetence. The Demonrats already have no opposition party.

      • Well, as it turned out, it should not have “galled and worried” your former political self. They “owned the debate, the propaganda,” but only as long as they needed to win elections. What they didn’t own or didn’t even try was actual action and actual moving the ball forward.

Business interests predominating the Republican Party has been the case for a very very very long time, in fact, it stretches back right to its very beginning. Note that in the 1965 nation-killing act, it got a higher percentage of Republican votes than Democrat votes in both the House and the Senate. The kind of politician most likely to vote against it was a white Democrat from the South. Likewise, if we do get some sort of House vote soon, you’ll find that no votes come disproportionately from white Republicans from the South.

      • Martel

Did they really own the debate?
Or did you, like most leftists believe the narrative of the socialist underdog versus the all powerful capitalist.

        • NeanderthalDNA

You have a point. I was pretty brainwashed and histrionically passive aggressive, the way the lefties like their sheeple.

But there was a time when Fox set the tone and years of Republican propaganda makers worked hard and effectively. Much better than today.

          • Martel

Well you snapped out of it, thank the Lord ^^

Fox was founded in 1996, it would be quite an achievement if they had that kind of political clout. From a European perspective, I always noticed the vast amounts of propaganda against “Faux”,by the actual mainstream media, all other channels, newspapers, production companies and Hollywood. They always presented Fox as some sort of capitalist conspiracy at which daring, brave liberal hearted journalists fought back. This was clearly a scripted narrative and completely contrary to reality. In my opinion the little clout Fox had simply came from its viewership which was desperate for a “non-liberal” source of information.

Just look back at the history of your country, would it be that bad right now if if the Republicans actually ever had a stronghold on the media?

Republican and right-wing are dirty words in America, excluding the countryside. This is because of the dominance of left wing media, who already set the narrative during the HUAC years.

          • NeanderthalDNA

See one of my replies to QD, below. It was actually meant for you, though both your and QD’s posts were similar in nature.

“Your country”? Are you a real live Frenchy, mister Hammer? I ate too many “freedom fries” in those days too, lol, feeling better physically these days as well as mentally despite the years…

          • Martel

I’m Dutch, although I wouldn’t mind being a Frenchy, they have an innate hunger for revolutionary affairs.

          • NeanderthalDNA

Ah, was going on the “Martel” thing, obviously. I’m roughly a quarter Frenchy myself, would like to get a guillotine up and running from time to time…
            Snicker snack…

          • As a bit of historical trivia, the biggest user of the guillotine was Germany. The German version used a much heavier blade with shorter uprights, and the condemned was usually made to lay down face-up. German construction also contained more steel and less wood. The last guillotinings in Germany were 1949 in West Germany and 1966 in East Germany. The French stopped doing it in public in 1939, but only abolished it with the end of the death penalty there in 1981.

          • My sense of the matter is that leftists of almost all stripes are pathologically paranoid. The two worst kinds are the leftists that we call Eskimos or Not Eskimos or whatever, and also LGBTQMIAPDLOLPLPLTH. The Eskimos are worried that there’s a cropped-mustached Austrian drawing up plans for gas chambers inside every county Republican central committee meeting in the middle of nowhere, and the alphabet people are worried that Pat Robertson actually wants to burn them at the stake because they put tab A into slot B.

But that pathological paranoia pretty much true for all their constituent parts.

Maybe you thought “we” (using that pronoun loosely) had our act together because you were sniffing the KKKrazy Glue and that warped your mind about “our” (again, loose pronoun) effectiveness. I think the Stupid Party was equal parts incompetent and treacherous back then as it is today. What I think might be different is this: In 1994 and before, the Stupid Party was willing to fake socio-cultural conservative-populism during election season, spend its ill gotten dirty money from the Chamber Pot of Commerce type outfits and various special interests that revolve around the Republican Party, on campaign season issues that had very deep roots in the white electorate. Even though they never had any intention on following through after they won, and indeed they mostly did not. Now, they don’t even try faking it. For the most part, RINOs and establishment Republicans and neo-cons sit back and benefit from the leg work and grunt work that others (e.g. Tea Party Movement) do, and also rely on pure blind luck, such as the blue team screwing up, e.g. ObamaDontCare.

Does anyone reading these words honestly think that John Boehner would have been able to engineer a strategy and/or a movement and/or a ground game four years ago that would have made him Speaker of the House? No, he was an accidental beneficiary (and an undeserved one, at that) of the work other people did.

          • NeanderthalDNA

It’s really truly tied up with mental illness, I think. Not trying to insult anyone but the impetus to destroy and hate one’s self is not healthy.

I was suffering from some pretty nasty “issues” back then and latched onto some ridiculous stuff.

          • Ella

Everyone has a “pit” in life, but one has to recognize where one needs to go. When society becomes fractured and spilt, people will suffer more from mental illness due to lacking cultural connections and familial support.

          • NeanderthalDNA

Was brutally depressed for over a decade but recently have sort of woke up. Not necessarily happy, but then I’m really not a morning person, you know?

But yes…societal collapse and profound cognitive dissonance are not good for the mental health.

          • NeanderthalDNA

Other than some mental health issues mentioned below (around the time of my divorce, other stuff), I did have a legitimate complaint, one which I still think explains some of the Pubs’ problems…

Iraq. I always kept abreast of current events and especially was interested in foreign affairs and though I fully supported us going into Afghanistan (though not for this freakin long and with more force), I knew the administration, enabled by ALL news outlets, was lying/wrong/tragically misguided in the decision and justifications for invading Iraq.

It made no sense and nobody outside the left got that – though the left blew it out of proportion and cynically used it for their own agenda.

There was a creepy point when it just seemed like a cynical and misguided presidency utterly misapprehended the situation and almost nobody on left or right tolerated any questioning of the facts (Hussein – Arab Nationalist and enemy of Islamic fundamentalists: Islamic fundamentalists – culprits harbored in Afghanistan = invade Iraq…)

Even then I used to say I wished someone like Nixon were in power who understood how to triangulate and who understood much better the cold realities of our world.

Not trying to restart that debate, just pointing out what I was thinking.

By the way, even in my darkest confusion, I never liked the muzzies and wasted much breath pointing out to fellow liberals that they tolerated in that religion exactly what they claimed to hate in our “corrupt system”. Ugh. First time I was EVER called a “Nazi”…

          • Whitetrashgang

The tribe, and Saudi Arabia( the two countries who run American foreign policy) wanted Saddam gone because he wanted to get rid of them. Nothing more nothing less.

          • NeanderthalDNA

The neocons WERE AIPAC buffoons and lackeys, I agree. A brief perusal of PNAC (Project for a New American Century) included some pretty damning sections suggesting an invasion of either Syria or Iraq but bemoaning the lack of “some kind of Pearl harbor” to get the American people behind the whole thing.

My suggestion was to get an ironclad lock on Diego Garcia in the Indian ocean, turn it into a space age multi-service/intelligence fortress, and use it as a base to make relatively quick, in-and-out devastating strikes in the Middle East whenever “they” messed with us. Maybe dump some blood money for the human shields that got killed, but get in, do damage, and get out before we were tempted to “fix all their problems” for decades…

Lefties didn’t like that suggestion either…so I was a Nazi.

          • Whitetrashgang

We don’t have to be there except for those two countries.Saudi Arabia has been paying each president since Nixon 5-10 million per term not to invest in alternative energy (source NSA) And in fact pays twice the going rate of crude oil to stabilize that country with Saudi Arabia agreeing to buy US manufactured goods in return.(source NSA).

          • NeanderthalDNA

            Yeah, you are correct.

And Israel’s involvement was actually better documented by the left at the time than the Neocons on the “right”, who were indeed at their beck and call.

Joe Lieberman – one of the worst.

          • Whitetrashgang

The sad thing is alternative energy costs about the same as 50 dollar crude oil, it really hurts the US economy .

          • Truth Teller

We don’t necessarily need alternative energy right away. There’s tons of oil in Alaska and Texas.

          • SoulInvictus

We have tons of coal too, that doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
It’s like arguing for using whale oil to me. Sure you can, but why other than habit and to enrich the companies that monopolize it.
…we’ve been able to synthesize oil since WWII, and it works better as a lubricant than the natural stuff. Some race cars run on alcohol. Biodiesel isn’t hard to make. Sunshine is free… thousands of miles of shoreline gives easy access to tidal power… thorium nuclear reactors would actually eat old nuclear waste.
Oil is cheap and established. That’s the only reason we’re still on it.
Even if you completely disbelieve climate change, it’s dirty old tech.
It pollutes the air and water. (Ask West Virginian water drinking enthusiasts about the great ramifications of coal processing.)

          • Truth Teller

Solar powered cars would not be very efficient at this time and wouldn’t be convenient in all places. I’m very skeptical. They don’t have as much speed or power and if it’s cloudy out for a few days you’re out of luck. Hydrogen would be very expensive to implement at this time. We should try to find alternative solutions but as of now we should be drilling in Alaska. Pollution can be prevented with carefulness and also being prepared for spills.

          • SoulInvictus

Don’t need solar cars when we have these.
            http://wwwDOTteslamotorsDOTcom/models/design
(and the better ones have 416 HP)
A few Thorium nuke plants and ever improving battery tech= no need for natural oil, cleaner water/air, and a solution to nuclear waste. Win, win, win. Even better if we just pave over the southwestern deserts and every rooftop with solar panels.
Or use the predictable and plentiful tidal forces to generate power. So many feasible solutions to generate electricity that don’t require mining, drilling, or polluting anything…

We really are only on the old crap because our version of railroad barons don’t want to lose the monopoly they have on the old tech.
How would the oil companies, international bankers, power companies, etc profit if you had your home and business generating at least the bulk of its electricity…

          • M&S

            Reason for being there?
Try 120 billion barrels of oil on for size, only bare-subsistence exploited for a decade while all the other OPEC producers outdid themselves to make up the difference in the oil glut after Desert Storm that brought us back to dollar a gallon gasoline and the return of the Monster Car in the U.S. (this while Europe paid anything up to 7 dollars a /liter/…).

If you want to ruin Islam make it ineffective. Show that, for their trouble, not only the idiots who attacked you but -everyone- else will be /owned/.

And then show that the cost of their losing one of their own, just north of their holiest of holies is not simply further fragmentation of the Arab identity but **improvement** of the standards of living in a followon culture so that all their own people not only get to suffer another military humiliation at the hands of the West but also to understand, deep down, what living in a 7th century culture next door to a 21st century equivalent looks and feels like.
As mortals watching the God’s sport upon Olympus.
Owning Iraqi oil (there’s another 40+ billion in unexploited reserves along the border with Iran) would mean having a control rod on OPEC predatory/punitive pricing futures and it would provide ‘another Germany’ as the 20-40 years it takes to get a redneck culture back into the swing of civilization (read: growth industry).
The problem being that we didn’t walk into it with the attitude that, right or wrong, we were there now and we were going to win this, no matter what. And so we let ourselves be intimidated into forgetting the Hague LOLW Articles (42/43 I believe) which specifically state that the occupying power is responsible for rapidly reestablishing order and enforcing the laws of the land.
Something the sectarian fools who formed the parliamentary government were in no way, shape or form ready to do when we urgently handed over military governance to civilian control.
Had we stayed in the game with (cheap) global video surveillance and absolute control over things like electricity, cooking gas and food in trade for national ID cards (whose biometric ID would have made it impossible to be an ‘anonymous killer’ to any of several dozen cameras on telephone poles which would track you to your crime and KNOW YOU from video stills as much as addresses), we could have changed Iraq, overnight.
Simply by making it clear that this was not a game and those who were not warriors (no uniform, no command architecture, no political goals) but used violence solely to terrorize would be shot down like common criminals after a very short field court.
People don’t like to think of themselves as being criminal and they tend to treat defeat under these circumstances as proof that they are on the wrong side. Which is why Saddam had so many posters/statues/photos of himself hanging all over as proof that the State watched everything these people did.
As is, we let a bunch of generals used to dealing with other militaries as posture and counter, exacerbate an already coup psychology driven condition of Iraqi ‘my brother before my cousin, my family before my village, my village before my tribe, my tribe before my country’ mentality focused on easy street cred by attacking the outsider.
That is what made us look bad (unable to control a sectarian slaughter, weak and appeasing to peoples who only respect strength) and that is why we are now on the outside looking in as the French ELFI Group produce Iraqi oil instead of our own companies (who tried but kept having multimillion dollar forgings get blown up as soon as they tried to open the pipelines).
AfG is a total hole whose only real value is it’s strategic location opposite the Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities as well as it’s ability to control the Pipelinestan headers that will soon be sending China all the petrogas the South Pars fields can pump.

          • NeanderthalDNA

Didn’t get all that (gotta go attempt a non-virtual social life) but skimmed and makes a lot of sense.
I’m a proponent of economic autarky (as much as possible) and have long been in favor of a real attempt at developing and implementing renewable, non-oil energy systems. Even though we are still pumping plenty of oil out of our own neighborhood as a result of new technologies and political expediency, it’s still a finite resource and most of the world we trade with is dependent on the ME oil reserves.
So, as supposed guardians of the world economy, we got ever more sucked into that miserable corner of the world that brings nothing but misery and big bills to pay.

          • Truth Teller

There is plenty of oil in Alaska. The solution is as simple as lifting the drilling restrictions.

          • M&S

Re: Oil. We pull the caps on on-shelf drilling and ‘suddenly’ BP has a wellhead bust 400ft down and the world is ending as black sludge is destined to pollute the entire GOM, ruining life for the poor fishermen everywhere.
            Waaaaaah!
The fix takes weeks longer than it should (encapsulate with concrete and drill new you stupid cows) and IMMEDIATELY the result is another cap on on-shelf exploration.
BP gets fined 25 million dollars and 2 years after the supposed eco disaster of the new century there is not a single sign of the goo to be found in the entire basin.
Our yuckety yuck yuck gaarrrsh POTUS, who apparently relies on his 8 year old daughter for environmental advice, goofy grins through it like it was nothin’.
            Because it was.
This is the nature of the struggle we face against organized manipulation of our senses and our fates.
People who want ‘all the power there is’ generate some warped vision of a ‘Type I’ (globally unified) civilization which is the necessary precursor to further evolutionary as social/technical advance. It is the New Religion of the Far Left whackadoodle academia, no matter that it flies in the face of both historical and evolutionary studies which show that diversity is not equal and size dilutes power rather than focusing it (why Rome died).
Of course the moneyed elites are all good with this insanity because it means they get to invite and invade their way into further ‘wealth building’ which is nothing but 1s and 0s on a computer in some bank’s basement.
Until it makes the rest of us miserable with people we don’t want and will not breed with.
            Shrug.
Say you pay 200 dollars a month in combined utilities for a 4 person household. At 2400 dollars a year, over the period of a 30 year mortgage, that’s 72,000 dollars you could have invested into a college fund, a retirement fund or the occasional trip to a vacation spot which eased the stress on your body.
Say you lose 20% of load using long distance power lines. Remove 20% of that load by going with local grids as small as four-home battery stacks and transformer pads and REALIZE, that for whites who are eco conscious already (Mexico has the largest per-capita household garbage production in the world) this is doable because _we don’t breed like rats_..
If you’ve ever gone up on your roof to watch 4th of July fireworks, you know that it can get quite breezy, less than forty feet off the ground. Put a helical wind turbine on each corner of your house and ‘become buddhist’ (prayer wheels) every night before you go to bed.
Or install biomatic cell beds on the top of your house that grow nothing but green sludge using a base sugar and water high school science bacterial culture. Add a little sunlight and hey presto! 1,000% increase in an-aerobic (= non survivable as a pathogen vector in air) cell population of what are functionally yeasts.
Drop any day-4+ (heavier) of these little buggers down an abattoir chute to a reducer every night and turn the little cells into Methane.
Put a birdhouse thermal soak on your roof with four mirrors pointed at it. Send your waste water up to where that water is heated to 800` steam and get back 30-40% of your water without having to worry about waste treatment.
All of which would suck the bottom right out of the utilities industry stocks and make it possible for families to increasingly look forward to an era where their children paid _zero_ dollars for assured basic heat, water, electrical.
Something which is eminently worthwhile, IF you have a population which doesn’t treat ‘free stuff’ as an excuse to breed a Malthusian Outcome.
Whites don’t. Browns, blacks and yellows do.
Look at your car. It weighs at least 1.5 tons. Of which 40% if the chassis weight in steel needed to support the drive train weight as transmission, differential, drive shaft and an engine sufficient to power 3,000lbs of vehicle at a top cruise speed it will see only perhaps 5-7% of it’s life.
Pull the all the drive train and replace it with a constant speed rotary or even microturbine electrical generator. Put hub motors on each wheel and use differential torque to go around corners under MOSFET control as essentially a solidstate on-off switch capable of regulating voltage feeds by the microsecond. CAST your body in a high strength composite chassis with integrated crash cage crumple zones around the passenger compartment and a secondary body shell that could be replaced as style and family status as much as wear demanded (no corrosion, repair by Bondo). Isolate the batteries in a grounded subfloor or trunk area and REMOVE 90% of the powerplant volume.
Result? 1,000lb car, 10-12ft long, with 10-20hp generator feeding 200lb battery cage driving four, 20hp motors with 100mpg, 200-300 mile operating range, off of a 10 gallon tank.
Throw in auto-drive with RFID chips in those little raised reflectors that define modern lanes and let cars ‘train up’ within lane and at half present separation distances of each other, using MMW reaction braking and RFID programmed location nav to move around town at twice the speed and density and with half as much congestion as every car literally starts and stops with perfect coordination.
Since 80%+ of your car’s life is spent either in a garage or in a parking lot at work, those willing to make money while they didn’t need their ride could assign vehicles to a taxi service so that those who didn’t want or couldn’t afford individual transport all the time, could have 50 cent taxi fare, door to door, delivery instead of the dangerous and inefficient mass transit system.
We could do _so much_ to lean and green our society if we didn’t have an overclass parasiting us for their virtual wealth base by creating overseas resource dependencies which they justified via ‘Type I’ pursuit of insane immigration policies whose breeder populations of the genetically _stupid_ will /never/ be able to integrate into our world and so become yet another dependent group.

That is something a lot of people forget. In the early days they were called the Black Republicans for a reason. They have never stood for white interests.

    • So CAL Snowman

The republicans are already a fringe party as far as taking back the White House is concerned. I mean it appears to me that the Republican party DELIBERATELY lost the last two presidential elections. McCain-Palin and Romney-Ryan? Those were the best people the Repubs could put together for the job? The crypt keeper, the idiot, the smarmy reptilian Gordon Gecko wannabe, and P90X himself were the best the Repubs could do.

      • McCain, anyone saw coming. Palin, Romney and Ryan only seem bad because we have the benefit of 20/20 hindsight and later events. Even though Sarah Palin shifts back and forth between the decent and the bad. Remember, though, at one point in September 2008, before FinCrash, McCain-Palin had a 15-point lead over Obama in one poll.

Mitt Romney seems worse now at least in my eyes because I know from back channels what a two-faced backstabbing fink and user he was toward Kris Kobach. And Paul Ryan seemed satisfactory in 2012. We in 2012 didn’t have the benefit of his treachery in 2013 and 2014.

As far as P90X goes, well, that’s one thing he had going for him. Never underestimate the political power of selling the pleasures of the flesh.

NO NO NO you are watching theater, please realize this.

          • A fact that is not lost on me.

But it is a fact, a hard cold political reality, that there were some women who voted for Mitt Romney when they otherwise would not have because they fantasized about Paul Ryan taking them to bed.

And it’s also a fact that up-in-age bad-looking political candidates lose votes they might otherwise get for that same reason.

The world’s oldest profession doesn’t just involve standing around on street corners.

          • Part amusing, part serious.

MSNBC supposedly axed PJB because of what he wrote in his latest book. Except when MSNBC hired PJB, he had already written several books with those same themes and statements, so that dog doesn’t hunt. In reality, I think they only hired him because he knew he would lay into other Republicans, but the kook left MSNBC audience didn’t like the way he laid into other Republicans.

        • Sick of it

I knew Romney was a fake and a newly-minted conservative to boot. Folks should have listened to/read his thoughts from before the election cycle.

        • jackryanvb

Disagree with your assessment of Paul Ryan – a Jack Kemp clone, obscure Congressman couldn’t even carry his own state of Wisconsin. He pedals economic conservatism, some libertarian loon stuff that has no chance of ever coming about.

Poor and working class Whites despise economic conservatism. Go populist – Huey Long, George Wallace, Pat Buchanan.

          • 1. Romney couldn’t carry Wisconsin became of Romney.

            2. That has nothing to do with Ryan’s ideology. It has to do with vanity. In fact, you’re the one who has always said that sex appeal is one of the most underrated factors in electoral politics.

            3. That said, a lot of women ate up the images of Paul Ryan flexing his guns and lifting weights. Obviously, it didn’t garner the Romney-Ryan ticket enough votes to win, but I’m pretty certain it resulted in it getting a few more votes than it otherwise would have.

I’m going to enjoy watching the GOP destroy itself. They’ve always been the stupid party to me.

    • Paul Ryan, Renice Preibus and an RNC hack were all on MSNBC yesterday and today pumping amnesty.

Now, why would they go on a network whose hosts are left wing kooks to push an idea that its miniscule viewer base of kook leftists already agree with, a network that hardly any conservatives or Republicans watch?

For the same reason that burglars work at midnight, not noon.

      • Daniel Schmuhl

I try not to attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity.

      • Daniel Schmuhl

I try not to just attribute to malice whatever can be attributed to stupidity. It’s probably a combination of both though.

        • Except when one actually has evidence of malice, i.e. numerous public statements and evidence of campaign contributions from people and groups directly interested and invested in open borders.

          • Daniel Schmuhl

That seems more like a combination of callous self-interest and self-righteousness to me (these things aren’t conflicting in some people’s minds).

        • Rhialto

I don’t think the Repub leadership is stupid or evil, just pragmatic and short range planners. They seem to be working a strategy to win in ’14 and ’16, without any concern for what happens after that.

My take on Repub strategy is to get the immigration issue off the table before the summer recess, while keeping their financial demons happy: no Amnesty but no deportation, and the importation of lots and lots of immigrant labor. Part of the deal would be to make sure these new Americans can’t vote legally in 2016. The Repubs would then exploit the unpopularity of the Obama presidency to win the muddled middle White vote, and hope they can retain enough Christian conservative vote as well as traditional Repub vote to succeed.

Another tactic is threat of gun confiscation, if the Democrats win. The Dems have been quiet on the gun issue for awhile, but if the more rabid gun haters break loose, it might give the Repubs an opportunity to utilize this tactic. I know that many White men who do not plan to vote, would vote and vote for Repubs just to protect their right to own firearms.

      • jackryanvb

Hope Paul Ryan and Rand Paul get car jacked and eaten by Somalian cannibals. Their traitorous anti White souls then join Jack Kemp in hell and the drone on libertarian loon nonsense for eternity.

    • M&S

Given the tactics they use themselves to divide their own race and elevate others as tools to their own empowerment, it is still the democrats who will ultimately lose because a Hispanic nation has no need for a white leadership, no matter how powerful.
And a Hispanic nation which murders political opposition as Mexico does will have no problem ‘shaping elections’ by means which speak beyond any promised leuchre lifted from a tiny white minority population.
They schedule their own execution, genetically, shortly after they laugh at the Republicans.
No one can claim that a ‘by thirds’ nation of racial spoils driven, endless, internecine warfare is not a recipe for disaster for whites. And yet liberals demand this sacrifice of those who elected them explicitly to mind their collective interests.

    • WR_the_realist

I would be happy to see the Republicans destroy themselves if only I saw any realistic hope of a viable alternative spring up as a consequence. But most likely we will get some version of middle of the road Democrats, left wing Democrats, and Marxists as our parties.

I saw the following in a comment last night and was blown away. Copy and paste:

Immigration Laws: Be sure to read to the bottom or you will miss the
message… 1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the
schools. 2. All ballots will be in this nation’s language. 3. All
government business will be conducted in our language. 4. Non-residents
will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here. 5.
Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office. 6. Foreigners
will not be a burden to the
taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other
government assistance programs. Any burden will be deported. 7.
Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least
equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. 8. If foreigners come
here and buy land… options will be restricted. Certain parcels
including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born
into this country. 9. Foreigners may have NO protests; NO
demonstrations, NO waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, NO
bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to
deportation. 10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be
actively hunted and, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation
can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you. Too strict? ***The
above laws are current immigration laws of MEXICO !***

Speaking of that Cheerios commercial. This is what the

    ………

“Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but
everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial
family,” the tweet said. Michael Beckman:

    “I guess #MSNBC
will hate my family not just bi-racial & bi-religious [both
    conservative GOP]”

    E. Huneke-Bergquist: “1.) @msnbc,
you make me sad 2.) #MyRightwingBiracialFamily,
you give me hope. 3.) Love wins.

    ”Betsygraham: “Hey @msnbc
    ! Here’s #MyRightwingBiracialFamily
    and we like @cheerios too

”In short, they fought hate with love. Twitter has a
do-it-yourself policing function that can careen out of control but
also functions as a rough democracy.

Given the controversy over Melissa Harris-Perry and her panel
mocking Mitt Romney and his adopted black grandson—for which she

No amnesty. Call your so called reps in DC.

    • kenfrombayside

Keep the pressure on your reps in congress. Giving 11 – 30 million (nobody knows for sure) criminal lawbreakers legalization pure insanity. Plus, they could sponsor their relatives; that would bring the total up to about 50 million aliens in our midst. Of course, these new citizens will vote for the vile democrats and their socialist giveaways. Most of them will be unskilled, uneducated, low IQ etc. Stop this outrageous bill now. Don’t sit on the sidelines. You are not wasting your time. The American people don’t want this bill. You have to do all you can do to stem the third world assault:
      – Contact your 2 US Senators and rep in congress.
      – after biz hours, leave a message on your DC rep’s voicemail. All US Senators have multiple offices so it would be a good idea to hit all of the. Remember, be civil and don’t threaten
      – go to NUMBERSUSA then go to the take action button. You will be able to send faxes to your 2 US Senators and congressional for free. (I also gave a $50 donation).
      – use Business Reply envelopes to state your opposition to America’s insane immigration policies and the proposed amnesty. Don’t give the parties any money.
      – join an immigration group like FAIR. Strength thru numbers!
      – go to the RNC & DNC sites to email them.
      – Use the media: call a talk radio program; write a letter to your local paper. If the media outlet is liberal, then talk about economic impact of massive third world immigration.
      – text everybody in your cell phone queue now.
IF YOU DO OR SAY NOTHING, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM….

  • Truthseeker

Our enemies really struck gold when they came up with the strategy of elevating “racism” to the world’s greatest sin. Now if anyone opposes immigration or has concerns about third-world people destroying our communities and economy (all perfectly legitimate concerns, of course), they don’t have to fight back using facts or reason. They can just label that person a “racist,” and the crowd will turn on them and embrace their own suicide out of a sense of moral rectitude. Oh, white people and their altruism. Finding a way to use it against them was genius.

There is a way to win though: Stand up to them. Never cave. If they call you a “racist,” brush it off without a thought. Continue to speak the truth, because it’s on your side. It’ll drive them insane, because they expect you to cower in shame. Once that doesn’t work, they’ll have nothing left except histrionics and vitriol. If we stand our ground, we will eventually win.

  • Dave4088

The support of mass amnesty is probably the greatest betrayal to their largely white base and act of self sabotage in the history of the Republican party. It’s akin to the Marxist, anti-white Democrats relaunching “Operation Wetback” while ending welfare and affirmative action. Rather than tapping in to people’s disgust over Barrycare to recapture the Senate and impeach Obongo, they are giving their most loyal supporters a reason to stay home thus ensuring the Democrats control both chambers in 2014.

It’s an understatement to say that outside of a handful of exceptions like Jeff Sessions, the Republican party is without a doubt the controlled opposition who purposely snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at every opportunity.

    • MBlanc46

“…[T]hey are giving their most loyal supporters a reason to stay home thus ensuring the Democrats control both chambers in 2014”.

You seem to be assuming that people like you are their most loyal supporters, rather than, say, the Chamber of Commerce.

      • A point AC made at the end of her column here. Unless we put our pedal to the medal and make it clear by actions of our votes at the ballot box that immigration is a non-negotiable fundamental issue and at the top of our minds, our votes won’t matter, because we’re not going to give the RINOs million dollar sinecures once they’re out of office.

        • MBlanc46

It’s not going to be a national ballot box issue because both parties support it.

      • Dave4088

I’m not assuming people like me are loyal supporters because I am not nor have I been for quite some time. If I vote Republican it’s only because I’m voting AGAINST a left wing, Marxist Democrat.

        • MBlanc46

Fair enough. But I think that we’re doomed if we remain mentally imprisoned in the two-party system.

  • OhWow

When you see the white culture you can see the values and ideologies that made this country the best back in the day. It makes me think back to a time in the 40’s when people could speak their minds, you could make a good living working a blue collar job, gender roles were clear, and people were generally courteous and everything was clean and safe. I never got to live in those times but my elder family members always tell me about them.

It’s clear what’s different about life back then and life now in America: diversity.

Things weren’t perfect in the 1940s or Ronald Reagan’s 1980s.

We wasted the 1940s slaughtering our kinsmen the Germans and Italians who were allied with our kinsmen the Finns, Hungarians, Baltic states. Our people in the 1940 s actually allied our country with Joseph Stalin, Levanti Beria, the NKVD!

And most of us never knew the supposedly wholesome era of Ike’s 1950s. I was7 years old during the cultural civil WR of 1968 in Chicago.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

The U.S. is about to be massively flooded with tens of millions of new American citizens straight from the Third World.

And the GOP encouraged, promoted, supported and assisted in all of it.

As Michelle Bachman explained: Any House bill will be a Trojan Horse; we already know that ALL promises of “border security” mean nothing.

The only solution is what Tom Tancredo advises: Don’t bring up a bill at all:

Where is this national push? Are people rioting in the streets for immigration reform? It’s so odd in a way that it has achieved this level of attention and involvement, Tancredo said in an interview Wednesday. I would be hesitant to bring up any bill simply because of what would happen in a conference committee.

Who believes this s***? Who in the world falls for this? So the question is, why are you doing this? You can’t be that stupid. I don’t believe [Sen. Marco] Rubio is naive. So if you’re not naive, what is it? Duplicitous? For what purpose? Maybe you feel you have a niche that you’re going to try to get in for a presidential campaign, he added. The idea that they’re doing anything that would benefit Republicans in the long run is ludicrous. Hispanics vote for Democrats for exactly the same reason that other people vote for Democrats: They want ObamaPhones! They want big government! It’s got nothing to do with immigration!

Hear, Hear, Mr. Trancredo, you are a REAL American hero, a thoroughbred in a field of donkeys.

As for YOU Ann: What do you expect in return for your slavering support of Jabba the Christie?

Governor Christie To Dreamers: You Are An Inspiration

They aren’t citizens of anything, except of the third world countries they came from. The treasonous Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965 was forced onto the American people without national referendum or debate. The act is little more than a thinly veiled pretext for third world invasion and colonization.

No true-born American is under any obligation to honor this piece of criminal legislation. In fact, he would be fully justified in treating any non-white third world “citizen” as an invader or enemy combatant and to proceed as he saw fit.

  • WR_the_realist

While Ann Coulter has too often been a shill for the war mongers, on immigration she just keeps hitting the nail on the head. It’s time to stop calling the Republican Party the Stupid Party. It should now be called the Suicide Party.

I’m sure many a Democratic Party operative is having a good chuckle in private at how the Republicans seem dead set on making their own base a permanent minority.

  • Einsatzgrenadier

I notice a lot of white people just don’t care about the destruction of their own race and civilization. However, they will agree that they are being ethnically cleansed and that their countries are being handed over to vicious, brutal third world beggars. I have never had any problem convincing whites that massive third world immigration means the physical extermination of the white race. Although many whites will acknowledge that they are being ethnically cleansed in their own countries, they will also respond with total indifference to their plight.

“There will be no human races in the future because everyone will be brown”, these fools say. “I feel sorry for you because you’re missing out on a lot of the wonderful ethnic diversity these brown people bring to our countries”. Simpletons, all marching to their own deaths like a herd of geldings! The white biological stock has been deliberately poisoned by race traitors; whites have been transformed into easily manipulated mental retardates who must forever step aside because they are morally obligated to accept more and more non-white parasites and invaders.

Although much of this apathy is the result of congenital stupidity, much of it is also the result of over 40 years of state-sanctioned mass indoctrination in multicultural ideology. The most bigoted multicultural fanatics are always found on university campuses, but this comes as no surprise because the purpose of these cultural marxist indoctrination centers is not to produce citizens capable of thinking critically, but to turn free men into the malleable tools of a totalitarian state. Public education only teaches one lesson and that is to obey authority. This authority commands the white man to go against his own nature and divest himself of all ethnocentric tendencies. The suppression of racial consciousness involves steeping oneself in diversity propaganda and becoming a “transnational” citizen. This serves as a crucial stage in the globalist campaign to wipe out Europeans and all vestiges of western civilization.

Trying to awaken the racial instinct of the white masses is often a waste of time, but this is only because liberalism serves as a kind of dogmatic religious orthodoxy. The only effective way to reverse cultural marxist brainwashing is for WN to seize control of all western social and political institutions. Otherwise, the indoctrination of the masses in multicultural propaganda must continue until the white race becomes a tiny minority or ceases to exist.

    • Bossman

You’ve written a long post with no factual information, just a very biased opinion. The USA has always been a multicultural country. First, there were the Native American tribes, then came the Europeans who imported millions of enslaved Africans.

Yes, you are pushing white genocide. Massive third world immigration is death for whites and western civilization. You haven’t stated any facts, just the usual anti-white, leftist propaganda.

At least you still have Guatemala, “Bossman”. Where do we go when our countries become third world hellholes filled with alien parasites?

    • Mergatroyd

You ‘ve written the most compelling, cogent post on the entire thread.

Remember that not all Whites are worth saving and some will be left behind because time is running out and we need to secure a White homeland for our children before it’s too late. Is there anything more important than that? Leave ’em behind and be done with is.

Yet posters like “Bossman,” who is an über-anti-White, believe that we Whites don’t have a right to a homeland, not HIS people of course, he’d defend them to the death; it is only White people he wishes to erase from the earth for “past bad acts.” He believes it is morally right to genocide an entire group of people, not his own, those people being us White, of course. He tells us this every day.

You see, he has drunk deeply from the well of ignorance and fully embraced the anti-White narrative that says because of “past bad acts” Whites and ONLY Whites must ceded their territory and homeland to non-Whites from the Third World to rectify for slavery, colonialism, Jim Crow, his list is endless!

These anti-Whites are nothing more than mindless robots spouting off whatever their anti-White leaders, like Tim Wise, Noel Ignatiev tell them to.

Anyone for calling Sen. Jeff Sessions office and leaving a message for him to throw his hat in the ring for 2016? We need someone with the courage to truly enforce all immigration laws and give the millions of unemployed Americans a chance at a job. I’m also for a moratorium on all immigration until we get back on track. We haven’t had a leader since Dwight Eisenhower who valued his own citizens over foreign lawbreakers.

    • Zaporizhian Sich

A moratorium is not enough, a permanent ban is needed on all non-white, non Christian immigration.

      • Einsatzgrenadier

We need a permanent ban, followed by repatriation of all non-white immigrants to their third world countries of origin.

    • jackryanvb

Nah, Sen Sessions is doing just fine where he is.

Stop wasting your/our time on White guy on a Whitehorse President savior s. go state and local.

      • Such as it is, immigration law only gets enforced if the current President wants it enforced.

        He should run for President.

But by the same token, if he doesn’t, and maybe instead focuses what is definitely a limited time left in politics on, say, trying to become Senate Majority Leader, (if the Republicans can turn over the Senate), then that’ll be fine by me.

However, the only kind of person I’m casting a vote for to be President will be someone who has at least a very good understanding of the immigration issue and understands its importance, unless we’re stuck with a scenario again of a non-white versus a white.

        • jackryanvb

Chicago’s beloved Irish Bossmayor Daley Sr. Used to run for Presidentin Illinois a a favored son. sessions could do that in Alabama and win a state, have influence, others can do the same – that’s using local and state organization to be competitive, effective, compete to win in national politics.

We have to get away from always embracing losing Presidential campaigns/crusades where we don’t have the money, organization or National media to be competitive.

          • Yeah, but we’re right back to square one.

Patriotic immigration enforcement doesn’t happen until the President of the United States does it, and the President won’t do it if he’s not an immigration patriot.

Now, while we’re on that matter, I had a blog post a few days ago which might be up your alley, entitled:

Don’t impeach the President, impeach the Presidency.

Long and short of it is that the Presidency has gotten too powerful, attaining it too expensive, but the crucial powers invested in it too important, that we have to progress forward to some sort of neo-parliamentary system, to where the kind of effective local activism that you want and I agree that we need can actually effect national political affairs. Where we can lodge someone like Jeff Sessions in the Senate or Lou Barletta in the House and it actually results in immigration law being enforced and Hispanicus Bellcurvius being returned to its native habitat.

Not so long ago the GOP was a party of freedom, free trade, open borders, small government, personal liberty, low taxes. Now they are a party of paranoia, xenophobia, racism, religious bigotry, etc.

    • I wish they’d hurry up and start being the party of paranoia, xenophobia, racism, etc.

    • Martel

If only, unfortunately they are the only party which fervently denies race, it pretends it doesn’t exist while the democrats are working the white guilt while stimulating black, Hispanic and jewish ethnic nationalism.

    • jackryanvb

Disagree. Your free trade, open borders immigration supports Neo slavery. 3rd World non White immigrants agree to do voluntary servitude, be slaves for a year or two if promised future rights to be PC welfare victim group. Sheldon Adelson, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates are the Neo slave owners.

I liked Old South slave owners better than these Neo slave owners.

    • the sound the flood the hour

It was never a party of small government or personal liberty. It is still is a party of open borders and free trade. Seriously? What planet do you live on.

  • Zaporizhian Sich

Sooner or later, an unapologetically pro-white, it not white nationalist political movement will arise. By then we will be under serious pressure and constant violent attack on all sides. That means whites are going to find the stones to start counter-attacking and winning back what is rightfully theirs by force, might does make right and we have the right to homelands of our own. The fact that we will have to kill millions and millions of blacks, browns and other non-whites does not disturb me in the least.

    • TXCriollo

I think its starting now, this immigration crap is really causing a stir throughout america. People I know who are not really political are now involved, we are a few years from i feel a scary civil war.

      • Einsatzgrenadier

We are absolutely sick and tired of having to put up with this endless rampage of third world immigrants, who cause nothing but problems for us and our children. No one voted for massive third world immigration. No one wanted it either. I don’t want to see my country handed over to a bunch of greedy non-white foreigners, a country that my white forefathers fought for, bled for and died for. Sending letters and petitions to your congressman will not stop massive third world immigration. What we need is a devastating civil war, followed by a race war to flush out and repatriate all third world colonizers. Only a return to Anglo-American ethnonationalism can save the US from the coming dark age.

        • Zaporizhian Sich

It’s coming to that, and the kind of combat that is coming will be VERY up close and personal. I have no doubt that whites are going to be using a LOT of bladed weapons as well as guns to eliminate these third world invaders.

  • JohnEngelman

The business community, which has controlled the GOP since it was founded in 1854, likes a high rate of immigration, because it enables companies to reduce wages for American citizens. Low wages for Republican businessmen are going to have a high price for the Republican Party.

    • Martel

Yet its the democrats who provide the main votes, the propaganda network and the push for more immigration, with some RINO’s trailing along.

  • SoulInvictus

So we can lose another generation and fall even farther behind demographically?
Sorry, secession didn’t work out so well for my folks the last time.
    I’ll pass on another Gettysburg.
Unless the Feds allow it voluntarily (never going to happen), then the bloodshed would be counterproductive and I don’t understand why it pops up so frequently as a solution here unless people are completely ignorant of the last time the attempt was made… and that was in a time when it had a much greater potential for success.

  • NeanderthalDNA

Yeah. At the time I made some friends with libertarians and especially paleocons over this issue.

Paleocons and I always got along well and I respected much of their ideas.

  • jackryanvb

Had a great day. I must have talked with 20 congressional staff members, all young, White in states I’ve live in. I used *67 to block my phone #. Everyone was sympathetic and on our side. RINOs, open borders Libertarian loons , Hispanderers are back pedaling. Great job everyone.

    • I have recently re-started my calling campaign, after having finished the whole entire House toward the end of last year. The nature of the salt mines means that I can only call a few a day, and since my voice obfuscator doo-dad only works on landlines, (where I dial my voice to a stereotypically black baritone when I call black Democrat members of Congress), I can only call black Democrats when I’m home, and I won’t be at home at all this weekend, again because of the demands of the salt mines.

But from what I can tell of the offices of House Republicans I have called, two-thirds, at least according to the people I talk to, of them, will avoid anything that seems like amnesty like the plague.

Which is good in that it’s more than half. But what keeps me up at night is NOT drones, but the fear that Boehner busts the Hastert Rule.

  • Whirlwinder

For some hundred years or so, since Woodrow Wilson, the progressive/Marxist have so damaged the foundations of our Republic that I am afraid it will be difficult to save it. Just in education, with the dumbing down of our children, they have no idea what a Republic is, how to manage the country so that freedom, liberty and the individual can be promoted or even what is evil and what is threatening to our way of life. Critical thinking is a lost art in the education process. And this is just one of the damaging effects of the left.
