Rev. Jackson: Phil Robertson ‘More Offensive’ Than Rosa Parks Bus Driver

Michael Rothman, Yahoo! News, December 25, 2013

Jesse Jackson has decided to weigh in on the inflammatory comments that Phil Robertson made to GQ about gays and African Americans.

In an interview with Drew Magary, the “Duck Dynasty” star said the Nazis needed Jesus, that he never saw the mistreatment of African Americans while growing up in Louisiana before the civil rights era and that homosexuality was a sin.

A&E has already suspended Robertson, but Reverend Jackson, his Rainbow PUSH Coalition and GLAAD are demanding to meet with network execs, along with Cracker Barrel’s CEO, to discuss the future of all “Duck Dynasty” memorabilia or content.

“These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago,” Jackson said in a statement obtained by ABC News.

“At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’“

  • What’s it to you, Jesse? Do you think that a lot of black people watch Duck Dynasty ? Or are you just trying to keep your name in the headlines?

    • sbuffalonative

Speaking of people who are desperate to appear relevant, google:
MSNBC: Loving Jesus Is “Interestingly Homoerotic”

    • dd121

Why is it that no Republican ever shut JJ up? It could have been easily accomplished by Bush if the IRS had audited his tax returns. His cheating was not much of a secret. He and other criminal black “leaders” just keep babbling on, unapposed.

      • Shut JJ up?

I wish he would get more radical and kooky.

        • Precisely! This bizarre outburst demonstrates not only his increasing irrelevance, but his accelerating advance into new territory in this respect. Genuine conservatives should be gleefully encouraging J.J.’s impending crackup.

  • Luca

Poor Jesse wasn’t getting enough attention or action lately. He’ll probably switch gears real fast now that a black guy in Texas got knocked out by a White guy.

  • NoMosqueHere

Jackson is a racist white hater. He doesn’t give a damn about queers; he just wants to attack a white who’s not on his knees to the liberal black worshipping establishment.

    • Rhialto

The Reverend also ignores the fact that male homosexuality (sodomy) is a sin in all Christian religions. Consistency is not a Black strong point, and Jackson craves attention.

      • Being “down low” is a black tradition, that’s why Revrun ignores it.

      • Katherine McChesney

Bet that JJ swings both ways.

  • Spartacus

Why must I be informed every time this monkey belches another idiocy ?

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Because he attacks Whites. He is a useful idiot and tool of the media and government. They don’t give a damn about him except to the extent that he can attack Whites and extort $$ from them.

  • Erasmus

Go to Yahoo and check out the responses. The anti-Jackson posters outnumber the pro-Jackson posters I’ll see between 50:1 and 100:1.
Poor Jesse. The country has caught on to the fact that the black grievance industry (BGI), including Jack$on, Obama, Holder and $harpton is nothing but a bunch of self-serving pimps.

  • IstvanIN

How does this dumb darkie keep escaping the morgue?

  • bigone4u

Whoever this assclown is demanding a meeting with ought to “Just say NO.”

    • sbuffalonative

      White Privilege:

  • sbuffalonative

‘White Privilege’ means, ‘Shut up white man! Your opinions no longer matters’.

  • MekongDelta69

I thought it was $harpton who babbled this idiocy.

But no matter – they’re both rich, race-hustling pieces of feces, who would never have been able to get a real job when I grew up.

  • Lot’s of negoes duck hunt, they have another name for it though, Knockout Game.

Re: In an interview with Drew Magary, the “Duck Dynasty” star said the Nazis needed Jesus, ….

I have a Rosary hanging on my door that my great uncle took off a WWII German soldier.
He brought it home to his father (my great grandfather – proof they were not godless?). Some how my grandfather ended up with it, and then I did when he died.

    • Max Krakah

The NAZIs were godless. The Wermacht were NOT NAZIs or if they were, it was only because of pressure ,the SS were godless NAZIs and if one of them was caught with a rosary, he would not be in the SS anymore, but sent to the Russian front as a private.

      • Alexandra1973

Sorry to tell you guys…the Catholic church was behind Nazism.

This is what Franco said after Hitler’s (supposed) suicide:

“Adolf Hitler, son of the Catholic Church, died while defending
Christianity. It is therefore understandable that words cannot be found
to lament over his death, when so many were found to exalt his life.
Over his mortal remains stands his victorious moral figure. With the
palm of the martyr, God gives Hitler the laurels of Victory.”

        • Katherine McChesney

Photos can be googled of Eugenio Pacelli and a slew of bishop making the Nazi salute.

      • bilderbuster

The SS wanted to go to the Russian Front.
It was an honor for them to fight communists.

        • Max Krakah

Most of the SS operated behind the front lines. No one wanted to be on the front lines when Germany was retreating, I can guarantee you that.

    • Katherine McChesney

      Hitler was a Roman Catholic.

      • Max Krakah

Reallllllyyyyyy? So which church in berlin did he go to?

  • Max Krakah

I am not at all offended by Phil Robertson, in fact I AGREE with him. Why is it that I DON’T COUNT!!! I guess this is an occupying government, and not one that represents the white people of this country.

    • sbuffalonative

You and the majority opinion do count which is why they’re working overtime to vilify this guy. If they can crush him, they can crush anyone. They need this victory to push their agenda.

      • Max Krakah

I think they are going to lose this one. He will go to Glenn Becks Network. His merhcandise is still flying off the shelves. Let Cracker barrel make a foolish stand. They will loose a HUGE portion of their clientele and what will they replace them with? Cracker Barrel may end up being the next Chucker Cheese

        • sbuffalonative

I certainly do hope they have over played their hand. I does seem like they’re quieting down and backing off. I suspect they’re in a huddle to find a new way to frame their argument so they don’t look like the intolerant creeps they’ve exposed themselves as.

Watch for a second round where they start talking in quiet tones implying they’re the real victims.

          • Max Krakah

A&E is backtracking BIG TIME now. They do not want these guys going to Beck’s Network! WE won this one, the libs just retreated!!!!

  • Max Krakah

The negro, is handicapped by a fatal level of narcissism, and that narcissism is making them push things way too far. You wait and see, they will make it impossible for white people to live with them. They will make it impossible for all except the pathetic diehard libs to care what they think about anything. They are making themselves ridiculous, and irrelevant.

  • Irishgirl

What right does Jackson have to “demand” a meeting with A&E or Cracker Barrel? Ridiculous.

    • Max Krakah

It’s about time someone told him he does not hold any elected position and has no right to demand anything.

    • Kenner

He gave A&E 72 hours to agree to a meeting. So far, crickets.

      • Irishgirl

72 hours or else what? How does he get away with these threats? (Rhetorical question)

        • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Because the threats have worked so well in the past. He’s called for national boycotts of businesses in front of CNN, MSNBC and other mainstream broadcasters that support anything that “sticks” it to Whites. Usually these businesses cough up tens of millions to him and Al just to get them to go away — it’s a business decision!

Remember Jacka$$ is in the shakedown business with full and complicit media and government backing. He fits right in with their anti-White agenda — and, bottom line, that’s what this is about, attacking Whites.

          • River North Distributing rivernorthbeer(dot)com

Nothing like getting a free beer distributorship in the third largest city in the country. And that is why I drink no products they sell.

      • Max Krakah

Well, A&E just lifted it’s “ban” on Phil Robertson. I would say that A&E just decided to push that brown load ,known as Jesse Jackson, down the chute.

    • fuzzypook

He wants to meet with them for a shake down.

    • bilderbuster

A&E just refused to meet him.

      • Irishgirl

        Good.

  • Based on Jesse Jackson’s infamous sexual harassment case, shouldn’t he be defending the gay slur too?
I’m loving this Duck Dynasty drama, I’m loving the way this show was meant to be a “laugh at the rednecks” show from the East/West coast elites, but instead has been taken to heart by “the people”.
Why do gays and blacks get to dictate what everyone, even those outside there own sphere of interest gets to say or believe anyway?
    The power of whining.

    • Max Krakah

Their era of rule is coming to a close. IT only happened because there was a great deal of goodwill from white america that made them decide to try to be “inclusive” regarding these groups. That good will is all gone . It is gone, and there is a huge amount of bad will building up. It took awhile for the goodwill to translate into political action. it may take some time for the bad will to translate as well, but be sure, it will become the way this country moves. Knockout games, shakedowns, forcing people to lose their businesses because they won’t cater to gays, it is all creating EXTREME bad will, and there will be no way those two groups will ever regain goodwill from white america, not in a hundred years at the earliest. Be sure, things will get much much worse before change starts happening, and at that point, these two groups will be permanently dispatched to the realm of unacceptable.

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

That’s why they’re pushing so hard for “immigration reform” — they’re going to need those new 20+ million democrat voters for the next election — that combined with voter fraud and they’ve got it made…

    • sbuffalonative

Yes, google Tommy R. Bennett and Jesse Jackson. BTW, what ever happened with Jesse’s love child? Also google: Say It Ain’t So! Jesse Jackson A Deadbeat Dad?

      • Typical, married father of five, spreading it around, including on the down low, but then doesn’t want to pay a penny for his (child support) mistakes.
Black males all seem to have the same modus operandi.

        • fuzzypook

Philandering is part of the Jackson’s family values. I used to work with a girl who dated Junior while he was engaged to his now wife.

    • Brian

The libs have swung the pendulum way past tolerance. Now they want totalitolerance.

  • John K

Jesse Jackson has been making inflammatory statements throughout his “career”, but no one has ever called him out.

Phil Robertson said what needed to be said, and he’s 100% correct. He has my full support.

Jackson, on the other hand, has been bullying corporations and weak willed whites throughout the years, and will avoid anyone who would stand up to him. It is no surprise that he waited until Dale Earnhardt passed away to begin bullying NASCAR. Earnhardt had a reputation for being direct and unapologetic with his statements, and would’ve told Jackson where to stick it. Phil Robertson should tell Jackass where to stick it.

    • I was working in a bar during the race in the early 90s where a black thought he was goring to drive a Cup race. Bump and run. No Earnhardt / Gordon BS that day. Dale was the king.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Low on funds Jesse? Child support payments catching up?

Jesse Jackson sees a pay day in there somewhere from A & E and Cracker Barrel. The only “reason” Jackson understands is large wads of cash.

And notice he only uses “Rev” when the IRS is around.

As for Phil Robertson, he knows how to take care of water moccasins and skunks, he’s disposed of many…

  • I wasn’t particularly a fan of Duck Dynasty before the controversy. Enter Jesse Jackson into the mix, I just became a fan.

  • lily-white

Its a sad fact that nowadays when I hear the word “Reverend”, I cringe… It never used to be that way…

  • Obama doesn’t like Jesse Jackson? That’s so surprising to me, considering that Jesse once said that he wanted to “cut Obama’s n**s off.”

    • Brian

BHO said plainly he was irritated by the ‘professional blacks’. Ha! Here’s lookin’ at you, Jesse.

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

This was said to appease Whites who are starting to turn against BHO in large numbers with more joining when Obamacare finally hits and hits hard.

        • Brian

Perhaps, but I could also see him genuinely being annoyed by Dyson, Jackson, Sharpton, Smiley, West, and the rest of the clown car who are always complaining at him that he doesn’t do enough for the poor blacks, that he’s just like GWB, etc. They don’t understand that even a black quasi-Marxist has to spread the goodies around, not just dump all of them on one group. There are _many_ people to pacify with other people’s money, not just a few… 😉

  • willbest

protesting and boycotting is a middle class white person thing. In a sane world JJ would be consider a race traitor.

  • Pro_Whitey

Jesse Jackson offends me more than the last bowel movement I had. I flushed the bowel movement. Time to flush Jesse.
By the way, if there are still municipal buses running in Montgomery, Alabama these days, I bet they are segregated again because whites without holes in their heads would not dare get on a bus.

  • KingBarryTheDingle

Praise be! Jackson took time out of his busy day, shaking down people who actually WORK for living, visiting his chip-off-the-old-block son in prison, and writing checks to his love-child’s momma, to weigh in on the Duck Dynasty false media hoopla. He must have smelled a dollar.

  • MarcB1969

Phil Robertson’s White privilege includes growing up in a house without indoor plumbing or electricity in 1950’s Louisiana, just like the father of my fiance. I wouldn’t expect much empathy for pathological black dysfunction from either of these beneficiaries of White privilege.

  • Katherine McChesney

    You’re offensive MRI.

  • Katherine McChesney

Maybe your friend was a ‘fag hag’.

  • Ograf

Jesse Jackson is old, he looks awful. He is still playing the pimp game and all the bus driver told Rosa was to move to the back, a procedure that they were used to in that day and age. As a matter of fact that was a set up anyhow construed by the communists.
