I’m guessing that Jack Swagger will find himself outmatched against Del Rio and will try to cheat in some terrible way in order to gain an advantage. That will work just long enough for the crowd to turn against him and then Del Rio will take over the fight again, pass up an opportunity to cheat himself, then accidentally injure Swagger and stop fighting to make sure he is okay. While Del Rio is selflessly saving Swagger, Zeb will blindside Del Rio and Swagger will be awarded the belt. Then Swagger, in a tearful apology, will give a speech about how Del Rio fights with honor and cares about even those who would cheat him out of what is rightfully his and, hence, is the truest of Americans. Swagger will then publicly break ties with the racist Zeb and swear allegiance to Del Rio. If, by some chance, I am wrong and Swagger wins and continues crusading for the American people then I will begin looking to professional wrestling for moral guidance.

Rasslin’ has always been a soap opera where the good guy eventually vanquishes
the bad guy. Now, let’s see who the good guy is. Can you imagine that
the forces that be will allow a blond-haired blue-eyed guy to be the
good guy? I don’t think so.

    • Shattered

      It’s obviously a political setup.

I’m not sure how to put this, but:

The legal ones aren’t much different than the illegal ones.

I agree. Not to diminish the flood of Mexicans (well actually I’d love to, lol) but…

The Black is problem/issue number 1, hands down.

        • jc

I think whites are the problem

The WWE tried something similar to this with The Nation of Domination, a group of black muslim “heels” (bad guys). It garnered a lot of “heat,” but made me uncomfortable seeing pro wrestling using blatant racism as a new angle. This might backfire in some way. Verne Gagne’s now-defunct AWA tried an angle in the mid-1980’s with a pro-aprtheid “South African” wrestler named Colonel DeBeers, whose gimmick was speaking ill of blacks during his interviews.

    • The__Bobster

What are you watching? Whenever I surf past the WWE programs, the cRappers and squat monsters are always the good guys, just like the Injuns used to be.

      • Johnny Clay

The WWE used that black muslim angle about 15 or so years ago. The Rock was one of the first members. The Colonel DeBeers thing was from the mid-80s. I hardly watch wrestling anymore, anyway.

    He’s the heel?

Fine young white physical specimen, patriotic, standing up and all…(lol)…

But he’s the heel? Show’s how hated we are.

They’re out for us, buddy. Genocide.

Yeah, I know, raslin’, but little signs here and there show the Truth.

The white fans who take the WWE seriously, are an unfortunate reminder that not all Caucasians have high IQs. Pure scripted garbage with predetermined outcomes. And we all know the Politically Correct “Pro-Immigration” outcome this phony match will have.

    • Conan

I don’t think anyone takes it seriously nowadays. They watch it in the same way one would watch a soap opera or movie.

      • Jaego

I went to one once just for fun. Several very sorry specimens were sporting T-shirts saying “Believe or leave”.

    • JohnEngelman

I love the photo of the man and the lion.

  • Conan

This storyline is a ripoff of RJ Brewer – wrestler who does the same character while pretending to be the son of Jan Brewer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Rm20aRpG068

Mexicans in south Texas love wrestling. The script for the match and possible rematches will ensure that Mexicans get riled up, but eventually get to celebrate their hero’s victory. I’m not sure there’s much to takeaway from this since wrestling has always been low class and clownish, as well as widely recognized as fake and stupid.

  • jambi19

Interesting. I had a understanding that the Mcmahons are die hard Republicans. This could just be all showbiz. A lot of the villains in pro wrestling are fan favorites. Can’t make the good guys pro white especially when the $PLC and ACLU from the YOU KNOW WHO tribe would have something to say about it.

    • Jefferson

I read that conservatives outnumber liberals in the wrestling industry. Which is not surprising, because it is an industry that is predominantly made up of White males. The WWE IS considerably less “vibrantly diverse” when compared to the NFL and the NBA.

    • Ulick

“I had a understanding that the Mcmahons are die hard Republicans.”

The McMahons will do whatever is best for the McMahons. Exhibit A of Linda putting her interests ahead of Republican interests (not that I care about the Republican Party)…

“Linda McMahon is making her final play to win over Democrats and independents with new campaign doorhangers reading “Vote Barack Obama For President And Vote Linda McMahon For U.S. Senate.”

      • jambi19

No surprise this is as expected. Thanks for the link.

    • PesachPatriot

I’m pretty sure I’m the only tribe member who ever gave a second thought to pro-wrestling…I enjoyed watching the undertaker, kane, mankind, stone cold steve austin and triple h destroy each other in the ring, but I realized it was all fake by the time I was 10. Wrestling is a glorified soap opera for man-children…a less bloody version of old roman gladiator games.

  • Katherine McChesney

    This article is a dud.

  • Sorry if this offends anyone, but watching “professional wrestling” is a bigger waste of time than watching “professional football”. Both of them kill brain cells, in my opinion. I don’t care if McMahon and family are Republicans or anarchists. The vast majority of the talent loads up on legal, semi-legal and illegal drugs to do what they do. And letting White children idolize them is a seriously bad idea.

    • joesolargenius

Well said it’s about time the truth was spoken about these events and television in particular as they definitely portray us as the bad guy in most shows nowadays.

    • Hmm, since my previous post, Mr Swagger, or whatever his name is, has been arrested and charged with DUI and drug possession.

  • tarczan

You are all missing the point. Wrestling is comedy. But as the say, all good comedy is grounded in reality. No one really takes it seriously, but in this case I bet ther Mcmahons don’t mind making money pushing an idea they believe. I’m sure they believe a sliver of what that guy is saying. This is some very good writing, don’t you wish a politician said those things?

    • Jefferson

I wish a politician would say the things that Jeb Coulter said. The only political party that wants to stop the flow of illegal immigrants from coming into this country is The Constitution Party, but unfortunately they do not have much money to compete with the 2 party system

  • I know the wrestling business well and their setting up Jack-Swagger to be the “bad guy” and take the fall. TERRIBLE! Go to Mexico and see who they cheer for, it definitely won’t be Mr.USA Jack-Swagger.

  • Steven Bannister

What I see here is the WWE making fun of the Tea Party and immigration patriots.

    Have I missed something?

  • 1gravity

The WWE is successful because its execs closely monitor the passions of its target audiences. That the WWE would do this with the immigration debate going on in DC says something. But what?

  • wolf

Swagger is not going to lose the feud because he is white. Del Rio is a far superior wrestler.

  • SintiriNikos

Total setup. Enar_Larsson’s post is 100% accurate, regardless of the sequence of events. This is so predictable, it’s laughable. And for all those who say the majority of the wrestling ‘industry’ conservative or Republican (funny how bereft we are now of real industry, that we are reduced to calling this spectacle an industry, but never mind), I say so what? How many CINOs and RINOs do you know who are against immigration?

  • jc

Screw all u racist pricks white ppl are the problem
