Pastor Leads ‘Forward’ Chant at Obama Pre-Inauguration Church Service

Ben Shapiro, Breitbart, January 20, 2013

Today, just before taking his official inauguration oath, President Obama attended church, receiving the accolades of the media for doing so. Obama, of course, has a rather checkered history with religion; his old pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, used to deliver fiery anti-American, anti-Israel diatribes from the pulpit. At Obama’s first inauguration, Rev. Joseph Lowery gave his invocation by listing racial slurs and implying that white people were responsible for the world’s ills.

Now Obama’s newest pastor, Rev. Ronald Braxton, is joining their prestigious company.

At Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, Braxton reportedly crafted his speech around Obama’s personal political slogan: “Forward!”

Obama, said Braxton, was just like Moses facing the Red Sea: “forward is the only option … The people couldn’t turn around. The only thing that they could do was to go forward.” Obama, said Braxton, would have to overcome all obstacles—like opposition from Republicans, presumably, or the bounds of the Constitution. Braxton continued, “Mr. President, stand on the rock,” citing to Moses standing on Mount Horeb as his people camped outside the land of Israel.

But it wasn’t enough to compare Obama with the founder of Judaism and the prophet of the Bible. Braxton added that Obama’s opponents were like the Biblical enemies of Moses, and that Obama would have to enter the battle because ”sometimes enemies insist on doing it the hard way.”

The service ended with the pastor leading the crowd in a chant of “Forward.” Really.

This was no religious service. It was a worship service for the man Newsweek labeled “The Second Coming.” And if Obama thinks anything like the pastor he chose just before taking his oath of office, America is in for a long, narcissistic, imperial four years.

One assumes the phrase “burning Bush” prophetic to this pastor.

The Obama chant scares me. It makes me feel like america is already a third world nation. A bunch of lemmings chanting the name of their cult of personality that they know little about (not that it matters to them). This is America’s future — diverse hordes chanting the name of the tinpot dictator heading the banana republic that was formerly a great nation.

    • So CAL Snowman

When White people walk the streets in FEAR in our own country, that’s how you know the USA is a third world country. Yes we are a third world country just like Brazil. There’s no “we are going to be like Brazil” we are already there.

The talking heads on TV said that Justics Sotormayor received the second biggest chant even though practically nobody in attendence could name any of her legal opinions. Minorities (and delusional whites) cheer minorities simply because they’re minorities. Diversity in a nutshell.

    • DudeWheresMyCountry?

Even beyond that, they cheer minorities simply because they are not White. Its so disingenuous… diversity in a nutshell.

He’s no minister. He’s a blasphemer. But, it’s funny he refers to Moses enemies. Those would be the Egyptians…whom the blacks claim to have been.

I saw an interview on the TV news today with a white reporter interviewing some black guy who was at the inauguration. He was holding a sign with a picture of obama dressed as a pharaoh. On the top of the sign in big ,bold letters it said, “Return of the King.” Later in the day I saw another interview like that but with a black woman who kept exclaiming, “I love MY president. He is my president. I love everything about him…” This is hero worship. I never recall people adulating before any president like this in the past. Even conservatives with Ronald Reagan never called him a king or “My president.” Blacks worship him like a lord and savior, like Jamie foxx called him a couple weeks back. This will not end well for us.

Blacks are simple-minded folks who are easily swayed by music and emotional rhetoric. Information content is not as important to them as it is among whites and asians. This explains why they are so often duped by religious and political charlatans.

For blacks, it’s not about Obama’s policies whether good or bad per se (although, of course, they want the government goodies too). It’s about him being a black man occupying the highest office in the land. It’s about Obama being handsome, well-spoken, and accomplishing something great as a black man. Blacks, in effect, identify with him because of race. It makes them feel good about themselves. You see, most blacks are like little children – always having to be led and wanting to look up to someone who can guide them. In this case, it’s one of their own. Thus, it shouldn’t surprise us when they speak of Obama as their ‘Savior,’ ‘My President,’ or any other worshipful terms.

      • DudeWheresMyCountry?

Blacks are simple minded folks easily swayed by anything anti-White. Even if it ultimately destroys them too as with our Mexican invasion, they will bask with glee, as long as it is anti-White. They are primitive and tribal people, much like the scorpion that got a ride on the mammals back across the river.

Blacks are sycopahants for famous blacks and Obama in particular. I’ve noted before that I have several blacks in my Facebook Newsfeed because I work with them and it’s easier to accept their friend request than to cause a stink at work by not accepting. It also oddly amusing yet frustrating on days like this. The Obama idolatry was through the roof with routine proclations of his greatness. There were references to it being a fantastic day in black history which shows the prism through which they view history. The most telling status of how many blacks think and view race relations was when one woman noted, “It was awesome to see Pau Ryan walking BEHIND Jay-Z and Beyonce.”

      • Cherry Bomb

Paul Ryan was also booed — he was probably spat at too. He was a fool for attending and should have shunned this abomination like Mitt Romney did.

      • OlderWoman

Jay-Z and Beyonce….if they hadn’t achieved their status in Hollywood they’d be cleaning houses and parking cars in L.A. I’m curious who Beyonce slept with to get her record deal.

        • Some Guy

You mean stealing cars and working the corner?

          • OlderWoman

Perhaps. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt.

    • Cheering for Obama and unconditionally supporting everything he does is the same as cheering on Da Chicaga’ bu’s or the Detroit Pistons for these folks.

    • Wonder if they realize that Obama doesn’t get to be president after the next four years (although I’d not be shocked if we start hearing chatter about eliminating term limits so he can run again). Should be interesting to see what happens if the Dems can’t find another minority to run at the top of the ticket in 2016. Remember, just like there are black jobs and black congressional seats, the blacks will feel entitled to the presidency going forward. Once something goes black, it cannot revert into the hands of a non black and certainly not a white person.

    • OlderWoman

‘…a picture of obama dressed as a pharaoh.’

Blacks weren’t Pharoahs. They are nothing like the Egyptians who built a powerful culture and excelled in architecture, etc. Blacks also claim to be the Israelites. These people cannot get their stories straight.

  • SintiriNikos

This Shapiro could have left it at ‘anti-American diatribes’. I don’t give a toss about ‘anti-Israel diatribes’, and why should any American care about any diatribe that is anti-anything but the USA?!

    • Xerxes22

I would bet that Mr. Shapiro is more upset about Wright’s anti-Israel diatribes than his anti-American diatribes. Just as the news media didn’t turn on Louis Farrakhan untill he started criticizing the Jews. When he was attacking Whites they were completely silent.

      • Nate Miller

Shapiro is a dark complexioned Jew with typical middle eastern semitic features. He is not white and what bothers me is why do some deluded white conservatives include Jews as whites? Even the brave Matthew Heimbach stated in interview to RT recently that Jews are a distinct ethno-racial group distinct from white Europeans. Hello? Israel is in Asia, NOT Europe. Jews are NOT Europeans and neither are Asians ( as some here on Amren seem to mollycoddle and drool upon). On a white site, there is NO need for non whites which DOES include Jews and Asians.

These people are NOT white, but middle eastern semites who belong in west Asia.

        • falsedawn

Wherever they belong, the end of the zionist state isn’t going to be too long in the future. It’ll be when the Hasidic Jews and Palestinians become the majority of the population. That’ll put the last nail in the coffin of the zionist idea…

          • What’s scary is that these people have nukes…and please, no one say it’ll be okay because they are our friends. If anyone thinks nuclear Pakistan is a destabilizing force, ask yourself how safe the world will be when a country that thinks it’s “God’s chosen” feels its existence threatened.

          • SintiriNikos

I believe it was an Israeli general in the 60s who said something like if Iran isn’t developing nuclear arms, they must be crazy, ie. crazy not to defend themselves against Israel who has those arms. He also threatened about the proximity of European cities to the Israeli arsenal’s range. ‘If we burn, everybody burns’.

      • SintiriNikos

Absolutely, the only thing anybody (other than race realists) ever say negative about Jesse Jackson is that he called NYC Hymietown.

  • This is why the NRA’s “Elitist Hypocrisy” ad is so effective. Because it’s so spot on. Obama literally think he’s a better person than you and I, because he almost assigns himself divine status.

  • Obama, said Braxton, was just like Moses facing the Red Sea ….

No, Obama is parting the White Sea and the Red is the oozing Blood Sea brought forth by increase in violence by blacks directed at Whites since Election Day, 2008.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Obama, said Braxton, would have to overcome all obstacles – like… the bounds of the Constitution. Braxton added that Obama’s opponents were like the Biblical enemies of Moses, and that Obama would have to enter the battle because ‘sometimes enemies insist on doing it the hard way.’

What kind of sick church is this?

Maybe those who say 0bama is the anti-Chirst are not wrong.

For the most part, blacks subconsiously understand they’re got to murder all White people. They know their time is limited. That as long as White people are here, they’re existance here is tentative. Their big problem though is they have no way of carrying a plan of any sort through to fruition. But they know very well White peoples ability to carry out their plans.

  • whatever nevermind

At least the bright side is that now you know the depths of the problem being dealt with and why the Creator (who favors his white chosen blessed Shem race) wiped the original single human race in Mesopotamia aka modern day Iraq at the mouths of the Tigres and Euphrates rivers where the cradle of civilization began and that borders the 3 continents of Europe Asia and Africa (to show equality).

We know reading the ancient hebrew Torah media book of Genesis that this omnipotent omniscient great Creator of the universe became distraught and picked a favored gentile name Noah with his 3 gentile sons and 3 wives and a male and female clean land animal of each kind meaning they were not the dirty large beast man eating dinosaur types who mainly resided in the western uninhabited hemisphere to board a large boat or ark that the preferred gentiles built to withstand about 6 total months of a great worldy flood after it rained 40 days and nights flooding the earth.

The large boat with the 8 humans of the original single race and all the saved animals ended up after the waters receded on the top of a mountain called Ararat that is in today’s Turkey and all the inhabitants of the single race and unclean animals were killed that BTW have oddly been discovered in muddy tracks or human form. Forget the ape skeletons found in Africa that pc scientist atheists allege is where evolved life began millions of years ago to make the negroid race appear to be the beginning of all life so that the white caucasoid race would come from that cursed Ham race according to the ancient hebrews in their Torah media book.

It makes perfect sense that Mesopotania or the center of Europe Asia and Africa would be the cradle of life that began 6000 years ago by the Constantine Shem chosen race approved writings of 1700 yrs ago that go back 3500 yrs on ancient hebrew scrolls allegedly begun by Shem white chosen race Moses who wrote the first 5 books supposedly.

Bottom line is the youngest son Ham’s race was cursed after the flood for adultry homosexual perversion and of course everybody has known this all through the ages since all Hamites lived in Africa and mostly in the wild jungles with the wild animals as self contained and never meant to have been removed from their Creator assigned headquarters that of course would never have happened had it not been for the evil introduction of African slavery 500 years in the new west that was a catastrophic mistake being paid for now by the Shem white race who angered their G-d greatly and suffering their punishment.

    • David Ashton

With respect, this makes about as much sense as the Black Muslim theory of racial origins as developed by the “Honorable” Elijah Mohammed.

    • anonymous

I don’t understand why Noah didn’t rescue the “dirty large beast man eating dinosaur types.” Were they left behind because they were predators? If so, why didn’t he rescue the herbivores like brontosaurus? Granted, the sauropods would probably have been too big for the ark, but he could have taken some eggs, right? Also, there were a lot of pint-sized herbivores like Archaeoceratops, which apparently only weighed about 5-10 pounds. Surely, he had room for them. Also, I’m not sure why one kind of animal is “unclean” when another one isn’t. Does this only apply to predators and, perhaps, to scavengers? If so, why did Noah save so many predatory mammals and amphibians, not to mention scavengers like the hyena? This stuff is very confusing.

What does the Bible say about flattery?

    • OlderWoman

“For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.” (Psalm 5:9)

      • shattered

Thank you. I thought as much. Obama’s tactic of flattery reveals much.

  • OlderWoman

Blacks have the habit of preaching sermons that twist scripture to suit their politics. That’s why I say they don’t really worship the true Jesus Christ. One one hand they claim to have been Egyptian Pharoahs and that they all would have been kings and queens…on the other hand they claim they are the true black Israelites – God’s Chosen People. See how they lie? These people and their leaders lie so much they don’t know how to tell the truth. Lies are passed from generation to generation through their churches and black organizations. Read black blogs to get a true picture of who these people really are.

  • Average Joe

As far as I can tell, there is no evidence outside the Old Testament that Moses ever existed, but even if he did, the parting of the Red Sea and the rest of those stories are pure mythology. So it makes sense to compare Obama to Moses, since Obama himself is basically a mythological figure existing only in the minds of blacks and credulous white liberals. I also want to point out–just to set the record straight–that Beyonce lip-synched the national anthem. Thank you for your attention.

  • PesachPatriot

Wow…obama is definitely not Moses…Moses was probably a lot better with finances(if stereotypes are to be believed) and didn’t run up trillions of dollars in debt.
