Black Women in Cook County Make 61 Cents on the Dollar When Compared to White Men

The National Partnership for Women and Families recently released a report on the wage gap for African-American women in the U.S. We took a look at state and local data to see how big of a gap there is between a white man and a black woman’s median yearly income nationwide, statewide and in Cook County. Here’s what we found:
