Al-Qaeda Blamed for Europe-Wide Forest Fires

Telegraph (London), October 3, 2012

Al-Qaeda has been blamed for a recent series of forest fires across Europe, as the head of Russia’s Federal Security Service claimed they were set by arsonists as part of the group’s low-cost attack strategy.

“One should note that setting fires to forests in the countries of the European Union is a new tendency in al-Qaeda’s strategy of a ‘thousand cuts’,” Alexander Bortnikov said, according to state news agency RIA Novosti, at a meeting of heads of security agencies.

“This method allows (al-Qaeda) to inflict significant economic and moral damage without serious preliminary preparations, technical equipment or significant expenses.”

In linking al-Qaeda to the deadly wildfires, Mr Bortnikov pointed to calls to launch a “forest jihad” by various extremist websites which he said also publish detailed instructions about how and where to best carry out arson.

He said it was very difficult for special services to find and prosecute such arsonists.

Deadly fires have swept through forest land in EU countries such as Portugal and Spain over the past few months, killing scores of people and forcing thousands to evacuate.

Last month, a forest fire in the Spanish region of Valencia forced authorities to evacuate around 2,000 people from their home.

More than 184,000 hectares of land in Spain alone were destroyed by fires between January 1 and September 16, according to its agriculture ministry, the highest amount in a decade.

In its continuing campaign against the West, al-Qaeda has vowed to “bleed the enemy to death” by resorting to inexpensive, low-scale attacks it refers to as a “strategy of a thousand cuts”.

Hispanic gangs do the same thing here.

Both the arson problem in Europe and here are easy to solve — No Muslims in Europe, no non-white Hispanics in America.

    • alas

I commend you for making the distinction between white- and non-white hispanics, unfortunately most people do not.

      • IstvanIN

“White” Hispanics support their black, mulatto, mestizo and Indian co-ethnics and are more than happy to see”Anglos”, non-Hispanic whites, genocided so they can take over and recreate Latin America.  If you think Bob Menendez and Marco Rubio are your friends you are sadly mistaken.

      • I was watching a black-Hispanic panel discussion on c-span. There was a white Hispanic. I can assure you he didn’t identify with whites.

      • Actually, the United States would probably do well to stop dividing Americans into largely arbitrary “Hispanic” and “non-Hispanic” categories (which we weren’t doing before 1970 or so anyway), and instead just rely on the traditional races of white, black, Asian, and Native American.  (Most of those we identify as Hispanic are really just Native American and can get their affirmative action benefits that way.)  If we did that, it would remove affirmative action benefits for white Hispanics, causing them to affiliate more with the American majority (e.g.,, no longer supporting affirmative action or open borders immigration in order to increase their political power) as well as cause a general increase in affiliation, and hence patriotism, with the United States instead of those countries those we label Hispanic came from.

Also, U.S. census forms, which have whites mark whether or not they also Hispanic, I find rather risky, similar to the Nazi census in 1935 in which Jews had to identify themselves to the government as such.  Perhaps paranoia on my part, but should the U.S.’ open borders policies and resulting crippling public debt lead to crushing poverty and a totalitarian future (i.e., the day the EBT cards no longer work) those whites who can’t also check the Hispanic checkbox may be facing a grim future.  As an insurance policy against future totalitarianism (similar to American Jews’ post-WWII efforts to make sure religion questions would never be on the U.S. census) I suspect it would be better to remove that Hispanic checkbox so the government doesn’t have that information.

I say let them do their worst.

If the Western countries suffer significant collapse due to economic sabotage by Jihadi fifth columnists, the first thing that will happen will be that Muslim families will be cut off welfare.

The CIA would label such unintended consequences as “blowback”.

This strategy has a low dollar and risk of prosecution cost but it has a high political costs.  It will do much to turn rank and file Greens and assorted other left wingers against Muslims.

       in your dreams……..

nothing trumps hatred of white men, even killing bambi

    • I agree. In your dreams.

Environmentalists are radical leftists. They’ll blame whites for being intolerant of Muslims and driving them to desperate extremes. Their solution will be appeasement and capitulation.

      • The__Bobster

True, they’ve been mum on the ecological damage done by the Mestizo invaders on our side of the border.

      • Sloppo

When the muslims burn down their family’s house or kill some of their family members it will change some of their minds.  There are many reasonable people who used to be liberal until harsh realities got too close to ignore anymore.

      • bubo

Yup.  Environmentalists will never blame brown for anything.

  • loyalwhitebriton

Why not burn down trees? It’s a cheap and effective way to cause social and economic upset, and trees, by and large, are a bunch of dirty, stinking, filthy, infidels!

  • The sooner Europeans give these “jihadists”, and the scum that twisted immigration policy to allow this, the boot, the better off we will all be.

I wonder if we will see a call to repatriate European countries? I can build houses, grow food, and shoot stuff; there has to be a need for that somewhere.

  • HamletsGhost

    Just wondering.
Is this why there are no trees in the Middle East, just desert?

  • IstvanIN

I hope I live to see the European politicians, or at least their children, executed when Islam finally prevails.  They must be made to pay for their crimes.

  • Yet another article showing that mass importation of Muslims into Christian lands just does not work well.  This is once again Amren at its best–collecting local news articles into one common place, so race realists and others who want to know the frequently uncomfortable truths about the world can efficiently get this information.  No wonder why open-borders groups like the SPLC, ADL and the Marxist antifa groups work to shut this site and its speakers down.

The muzzies in Israel have been doing this for years…

  • Their strategy of a ‘thousand cuts’ takes many forms, all leading to the same event. The end of Christendom.

I had read that the Sphinx’s nose was shot up by musket fire from one of Bonaparte’s soldiers.

    • Michael C. Scott

“I had read that the Sphinx’s nose was shot up by musket fire from one of Bonaparte’s soldiers.”

That turns out not to be the case.  The Sphinx was defaced on the orders of a Muslim Imam.  Strict Islam holds that depictions of humans and animals, especially in statuary is a form of idolatry, and thus blasphemy.

In Saudi Arabia, this is carried to an extreme, where buildings associated with their prophet and his early life in Mecca are still being demolished, lest Haji pilgrims want to see them.  Despite this attempt at architectural and physical censorship, we know a few things about Mohammad’s appearance, and one of these is that he had red hair and wore a beard but shaved his moustache, forbidden pictoral depictions aside.

In Stratford upon Avon, William Shakespeare’s old home is preserved, as is the birthplace of Rousseau in France, and other notables around Europe, where people love their own history.  I’ve visited old half-timbered homes in Colchester, England that still have 17th-Century cannonballs wedged in parts of their structures.

Islam is not simply a religion.  One of the hats it wears is a “culture-in-a-box”.  Where Iran is concerned, Islam followed Christianity and Zoroastrianism, but what about the prior religion in western Indonesia.  On Bali, the people are Buddhist, but what about before then?  One of my observations about Islam is that it aims to destroy even the memory of what was there before, much as the Taliban used anti-aircraft guns to shred ancient Buddhist statues carved into a cliff face in Afghanistan.

  • I wouldn’t want to refer to Native Americans as “Indians” which to me refer to people from the Republic of India and the associated problems we have with them (taking away jobs from Americans, via coming here on American worker replacement visas, enrolling in fraudulent U.S.-based universities and then working full time or via American companies offshoring work to India).  “Native American” is a more respectful term, even if not historically accurate, but they’re now a part of us, being U.S. citizens since the 1920’s and having fought in America’s wars, including our present-day ones (think of Comanche David Yeagley’s lawsuits against the open-border Marxists who worked to shut down a recent Amren conference.)

As for Native Americans (Indians) being our enemies, part of survival is correctly identifying who your enemies are *today* (China, Muslim and south-of-the-border immigration, etc.) and not be distracted by past enemies.  Failure to do so would make us like too many South Koreans, who lose sight of the dangers posed by totalitarian China and North Korea and instead want to get into a war over the tiny Takeshima/Dokdo island with Japan.   South Koreans’ unfortunate distraction with Japan over the latter’s former colonization of their country is telling, because it’s precisely a nation’s inability to correctly identify its present-day enemies that leads to it being colonized/taken over.
