UCLA Provided $100k for Radical Anti-American Separatist Group

Josiah Ryan, Campus Reform, July 25, 2012

A student group espousing anti-American separatist views at the University of California–Los Angeles (UCLA) received $100,000 in funding from the college administration last year, reveals an internal budget obtained by Campus Reform.

The recipient of the funds is a student-organization, Moviemiento Estudiantil Chicano de AZTLAN (MEChA) which believes that the Southwestern U.S. states New Mexico, Arizona, California and parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado are in fact part of a separate nation called “Aztlan.”

The national organization’s website states that their aim is “reclaiming the land of our birth” and calls the organization “a nationalist movement of indigenous gente [people] that lay claim to the land that is ours by birthright.”

“As a nationalist movement we seek to free our people from the exploitation of an oppressive society that occupies our land,” reads the site. “[A]ztlan belongs to indigenous people, who are sovereign and not subject to a foreign culture.”

The website organization also urges Americans of Latino descent to reject “the assimilation and accommodationist melting pot ideology.”

Individuals associated with the organization have also been linked with militant actions. In 1993 MEChA made headlines when its leaders spearheaded a riot at UCLA, resulting in a reported $500,000 of damages and 99 arrests.

In separate incidents in 2002 and 2008 individuals from MEChA chapters were also implicated in the mass destruction of conservative campus publications that took hostile views to their organization.

The budget documents acquired by Campus Reform, reveals that UCLA allocated $101,012.48 to the MEChA chapter for the 2011-2012 school year out of roughly $600,000 “retention fund” which is derived out of student fees.

  • The more money radical Hispanic groups get, the better it is for our cause.  Like I have said, blacks aren’t really dangerous until they start dressing up in business suits and start yammering for civil rights and fairness.  I pick NBPP and NOI over NAACP, and similarly, I pick MECHA and Mexica Movement over MALDEF.

As an aside, I think I finally figured out the reason why the Bill Kristol types who run slick neo-con mags came out for the Shari’ah Spring, even though it resulted in regimes openly hostile to the neo’s favorite country.  It’s the Hegelian Dialect — The problem is the solution.  Just as I want our racial opponents to be as radical as possible, Kristol and Co. want Muslims to be as radical as possible. Kristol is a high class crypto-millenarian.

I really despise Dr. Lovelace’s twin brother.

“Kristol was treated like royalty and came off as … a Republican Party warlord,” bragging “about how all the hostile elements to Israel inside the Republican Party were purged over the last 30 years—(and) no one (now) dared to question the power of the Israeli lobby.” [Bill Kristol celebrates Republican Party purge of ‘oldfashioned Arabists’ Scowcroft, Baker and Bush I, May 21, 2012]

      •  It’s not that Kristol isn’t close to right when he said that, but I think there was a lot of blustering on his part, too.

One thing he gets mightily wrong in that little blustering bloating bragging rant of his is that he somehow thinks that Bush encouraged PJB to leave the Republican Party in the fall of 1999.  Not even Bush was that stupid to create someone who could have bled votes away from him and cost him the election.  At one point in early 2000, a poll done in Arizona had PJB getting 18% of the vote in a three way between himself, Bush and Gore, but that all evaporated as Bush and Gore were close in the fall.

  • What’s funny about this argument that New Mexico, Arizona, California and parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado do not belong to America is, if that were true and those areas were restored to Mexico, we’d just have Mexicans sneaking into Oregon, Idaho, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Nebraska for the U.S. freebies.  There’s no end to it.

What groups like MEChA really want is the infrastructure.  If whites were to turn that area over to mestizos, the infrastructure would just deteriorate until it reached a level that the mestizos could maintain.

This experiment has already been tried. Not with mestizos, but blacks. When white rule ended in Rhodesia, the infrastructure was pretty close to first world standards. Today it is falling apart.

Closer to home, just look at Detroit . . . once a thriving metropolis, now a third-world hellhole. . .

    • Angry White Woman

We already DO have Mestizos “sneaking into” all the other states of the Union for all the goodies they can get–which are plenty. I say if we let them have the southwest, bomb all the infrastructure into oblivion first. Tell them they can have it back, but without the roads, buildings or any of the other improvements that White civilization has been building and improving upon since about 1830 or so.  I’ll bet there’ll be few, if any takers on that offer.

  • Church_of_Jed

Let them have the land, and then send them a bill. Cut off all “too White” services if they don’t pay.

Make them feel like their are back home in turdworld.

These Mexicans believe that “the Southwestern U.S. states New Mexico, Arizona, California and parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado are in fact part of a separate nation called “Aztlan.””

If I am not mistaken, at one point we gave them $15 Million for the loss of land after the Mexican American War. Would they pay us back in today’s inflation adjusted dollars? I doubt it.

Also, if they are given all this land by our corrupt government, do they realize that they will not be receiving any more social welfare benefits like Nutrition Assistance, Section 8, Cash Assistance, Medicaid, etc. I would think that at that point White people would rise up and demand that their money not go to anti-White Mexicans.

Let’s face facts. Mexicans claim that various parts of this country were “stolen” from them and that they have the right to have them back. The real reason they are in this country is because they don’t know how to create a First World country in Mexico so they come here to take advantage of our infrastructure. It has NOTHING to do with loss of land.

  • Mexicans are sooooo much better than blacks right?  The civil war will start in the Southwest, NOT the South.

You know, I brought up the Soultrean Hypothesis and the Kennewick Man to a neocon and they said it sounded like ‘white supremacist’ stuff, despite the fact I pointed out the Kennewick Man was white, that his weapons were more prehistoric European than ‘native american Indian’ and that his body carbon dated back centuries upon centuries before the first ‘American Indians’ got here.  I’ve also read White Apoclypse, which where I first got exposed to the Soultrean Hypothesis.

  •  Ordinarily, no.  But if we give our money to a radical enemy that scares our people into our camp, then it’s almost as good as giving money to AR itself.

  • if this is the case, I would love to have all the Mexicans leave the South, the Midwest, and the Northeast, where they do not have roots there to move to Aztlan. Wouldn’t it be nice to have them all in one place to make it easy to deport the illegal ones.
