Journalists Mock Whites — Without Consequence
Gregory Hood, American Renaissance, July 1, 2020
Journalists are crudely mocking whites on Twitter and face no consequences.
Pulitzer Prize winner and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman:
Reality is coming for white supremacists driving golf carts https://t.co/dx4vM4taww

Karen Attiah is The Washington Post’s Global Opinions Editor. She recently posted:
She deleted this tweet. However, it wasn’t because she thought she did anything wrong. She made this very clear.
Same. Lol. https://t.co/tcNsP2BF6y

“Non, je ne regrette rien”

Also, her tweet about the Jussie Smollett hoax is still up.
Regarding the heinous attack on @JussieSmollett, yet another reminder that Trump’s ascendance and the resulting climate of hate has meant that lives have been increasingly at stake since 2015.
Smollett could have been killed by those thugs screaming MAGA. Let that sink in.

In another case, CNN’s Nathan McDermott made a strange tweet about Betsy Rothstein, who just died from cancer.
I didn’t know Betsy Rothstein and only read her occasionally, and I am sad that she passed away, but there’s clearly a divide in values political journalists hold when (almost) everybody mourning her online is a white reporter who covers DC.
— Nathan McDermott (@natemcdermott) June 30, 2020
Mr. McDermott writes for CNN’s KFile, which exists to search through others’ social media and get them fired. His current campaign is against Trump Administration appointee Merritt Corrigan. It’s striking that he can blithely say that there is something wrong that those mourning a dead woman tend to be white.
Still, he was relatively restrained. Others simply smeared her as racist.
Betsy Rothstein wrote all kinds of weird stuff about me and was a racist

people can mourn their friends, but it is pretty striking to see Neutral, Objective Reporters celebrating the career of a racist bully https://t.co/ToTbAFIeMn

In the midst of a national reckoning on race and all of white DC journalism is writing loving tributes to open racist Betsy Rothstein and I’m sure she was really very kind to you personally but also what the actual fuck, people?
— Sarah Christopherson (@sarahcgchris) June 30, 2020
If you don’t know anything about Rothstein, here is a charming article that tries to justify calling her “a racist, a bigot, and a tool of the boss.” Judge for yourself if it succeeds.
You’re racist while you live, you’re racist when you die, and you’re racist if you mourn your friends.
