The sentencing of a man who raped his teenage daughter repeatedly over several years and ordered her to throw the two newborn babies he fathered down an air shaft has been postponed because he is still undergoing psychological tests.

{snip}

The man has pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated sexual assault and is expected to serve up to 35 years.

DNA tests showed the man fathered both children—a girl, who died just after birth, and a boy, who survived—with his daughter, who is now 20.

Officials say the man had a sexual relationship with is daughter beginning when she moved from El Salvador at age 13 in 2000, D’Andrea said.
