Twitter Suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene

Paul Bedard, Washington Examiner, January 17, 2021

Newly-elected Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, an ardent supporter of President Trump’s bid to expose voter and ballot fraud, has been punished by Twitter for blaming the defeat of two Georgia senators on state leaders for failing to “fix our elections.”

Twitter suspended key provisions of her Twitter account because, they said, she “violated” unexplained rules.

In a statement, she said, “The borderline monopolistic stranglehold a few Big Tech companies have on the American political discourse is out of control. If a conservative dares to utter a political opinion that is deemed unapproved by the internet police they are now subject to false accusations of ‘inciting violence’ simply for having an conservative view.”

Greene added, “Americans rights are being stripped and they aren’t being heard by the people they elected to represent them. And with Big Tech silencing them, they literally can’t be heard. The censorship has got to stop.”
