Nearly 70 Percent of Murders in St. Louis Are Unsolved

Police said 68 percent of the homicides in St. Louis City in 2015 are unsolved.

“It is concerning that we only have 25 percent of our total number of cases this year cleared,” said Captain Michael Sack with St. Louis Police.

So far, there have 78 homicides in St. Louis in 2015. The city is on pace to have the most homicides in one year since 1985.
