Clinton Courts Latinos in Nevada, Calls for Path to Citizenship

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called on Tuesday for a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, courting Latino voters and drawing a line between herself and Republican rivals for the White House in 2016.

“We can’t wait any longer for a path to full and equal citizenship. Now, this is where I differ from everybody on the Republican side,” Clinton told a group of students at a high school in Nevada.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, a Republican who is weighing a White House bid, has proposed legal status for undocumented immigrants that falls short of full citizenship, although he has not ruled out some way for them to become Americans eventually.

Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination for the November 2016 presidential election, said Republicans were offering “second-class status.”

“When they talk about legal status, that is code for second-class status and we should never forget who this debate is about,” she said at Rancho High School.

The school is approximately 70 percent Hispanic and less than 10 miles north of the Las Vegas strip of casinos, a magnet for workers from all over the world.

Was anyone expecting her to court White males? This “news” isn’t news. That said, does anyone expect this target audience to actually listen to her per se? They’ll vote for her, for all the usual reasons, but they won’t necessarily listen to her.

    • Jaggers

You’re right, the Democrats have literally given up on whites (especially male and working class). The Obama campaign basically admitted this in 2012. They just want us to stay home and give up.

  • This goes to show you that HRC is not the supergenius, either political or otherwise, that some people make her out to be.

When it’s a tie ballgame, bottom of the ninth, no outs, and a runner on third, and you’re up to bat, you don’t need to swing for the fences, just hit the ball anywhere beyond the infield.

Likewise, HRC thinks that there’s some great new margins of Hispanic voters that she can win just on the differential of promising full citizenship over and above just plain “legal status” and work permit. When in reality, there isn’t; most Hispanic illegals and other illegals really don’t care about citizenship per se (as it is, citizenship has been watered down to irrelevance anyway), all they want and need is the microscopic odds that they could be deported reduced to zero, and a work permit.

BTW, there’s a lot of propaganda going around that Hillary is somehow reversing Bill’s “tough” immigration enforcement polices when he was President. Pure propaganda; Bill was pretty much open borders all the way. If Bill seemed “tough,” it was only a matter of being microscopically more so than either of his two successors.

I’m not surprised to learn that Hillary is wasting no time selling out Americans.

    • ElComadreja

I’d expect nothing else from the loathsome harridan.

    • Light from the East

She keeps working on maximizing democrats voters by all means. Apparently, she puts her party’s interest over America’s core interest as a nation.

      • Why should she do anything different? The fundamental unit of loyalty in a proposition nation democratic republic that allows for political parties is the political party. Don’t go thinking that anyone is actually going to care about white people.

If she found out that Satanic pedophiles who sacrificed children existed in large enough numbers to influence the vote, she would be courting them too and telling them how oppressed they are.

    • John Smith

She got a child rapist off already.

Useful idiot and new grandmother. Has no clue what kind of country she’s leaving her grandchild.

    • Don’t worry about the grandkid. The Clinton Crime Family slush fund will have more than enough money left to buy that brat 10 Harvards.

      • Jason Lewis

Be funny if the new majority are able to vote themselves that money.

        • Rossbach

When you think about it, there is little reason to suppose that they won’t.

          • Jason Lewis

I’ve known they’ll eventually do it for a long time. I just like throwing it out there.

Anti-Whites are always the ones who screech most loudly about being populists, but they fail to mention that their populism is reserved for non-Whites.

  • Hillary Clinton: An ‘enemy within’ who is willing and ready to sell out her country to hordes of non-assimilating, third-world peasant invaders. She will be the final straw that broke the camel’s back is she wins the presidency in 2016 . . . But then I suppose it doesn’t matter anyways because this country has already went beyond the point of no return when it twice elected Barack Obama, the great destroyer.

Hillary Rodham Clinton will call for a ‘full and equal path to citizenship’ for immigrants living in the country illegally

I didn’t know Hillary Clinton had switched parties and is now running as a Republican.

    • Illidan Stormragge

It’s the fundamental flaw with democracy. Times get tough, people vote for welfare. Impossible to turn back. Then immigrants come in, vote for more immigrants. Each party has to pander to stay relevant. Every democracy drifts left over time I think and degrades.

Beginning of the USA, only around 10% of the population could vote.

From these pictures, you can see that a white man’s worst enemy is himself because of his altruism.

    • ElComadreja

This could also apply to blacks, Muslims and homosexuals.

Rewarding illegal criminals who disregard our immigration laws, while disenfranchising legal Citizens, Whites and Veterans who DID build this country and live by the rule of law is the mantra of politicians these days.

Make NO mistake that traitors to the rule of law, like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Hollywood, self-loathing liberals and the media want to completely disenfranchise White, Christian America–and moreover, destroy them.

As usual, all the choices for president are awful. I wouldn’t mind a woman being president but Heaven help us if it’s Hillary Clinton. Jeb Bush is a lying, Mexican-loving, open borders race-traitor. I don’t like any of the other “Repugnants” running either. This country is in deep doo-doo.

    • LeonNJ

Yes I’m afraid so. Both parties are too similar nowadays to see any real difference. It’s getting as bad as the UK who are having their presidential elections tomorrow. All the major parties there are just different shades of crazy left wing ideology. Even the ruling “Conservatives” over there are as nutty as Nancy Pelosi.

    – Amanda Becker, Reuters, May 5, 2015

That is the ideal situation for the GOP: legal status for undocumented immigrants that falls short of full citizenship. The immigrants will cause wages for American citizens to decline, but they will not be able to vote Democrat.

  • Rob

Let Clinton trade in her citizenship for a Mexican one and we can call it even.

  • MikeofAges

Providing legalization is an act of generosity. Once granted legalization many illegals, except for assimilated young people, will not be highly interested in getting quick citizenship. If HIllary Clinton is flipping this card this early in the campaign she must be desperate already. Or not very astute. I imagine she thinks she can get Hispanic voters agitated over this issue. I doubt it. If legalization is provided, those who are motivated will seek citizenship. Some may not want citizenship.

Necessarily, legalization must precede citizenship. Even if a bill is touted as providing “a path to citizenship”, the outcome will be little different. Hillary Clinton is a demagogue, and a not very good one at that.

  • Hilis Hatki

Hillary is such a pander bear.

  • John Smith

First, the Clintons sold American high tech and military secrets to China. Now, they are doing their best to destroy America from within by importing illegals, likely subsidized by China and other countries donating to their foundation.

  • Realist

So, Hillary is Mexican and Bill is black.

  • WR_the_realist

Do you still love the Democratic Party, John Engelman?

Importing more Democrats is their top priority. It overrides any concern about increasing economic inequality or protecting the environment.

  • Eagle1212

Nevada has one of the highest number per capita of illegals living and it’s them causing financial ruin and wreaking havoc in the workforce while unemployment continues to be at an all time high.
