Missouri Lt. Gov.: Justice Dept. More Racist Than Ferguson Cops

Newsmax, March 17, 2015

Peter Kinder, lieutenant governor of Missouri, has come out swinging against the Justice Department, saying it is more racist than the Ferguson police force.

“There is more racism in the Justice Department than there is in anywhere I see in the St. Louis area,” Kinder said Monday on “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.

“We’ve come an enormous way in 50 years. That’s not to say we don’t have still more to do. But it is the left–the [Attorney General] Eric Holder and [President Barack] Obama left–and their minions who are obsessed with race while the rest of us are moving on beyond it.”

Kinder, a Republican, also ripped into the Show Me State’s Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon, a bitter political adversary, for keeping him in the dark about Ferguson developments.

“The governor communicates effectively with no one, not the mayors when their towns were burning,” he said. “Except he does get on the phone to [Obama senior adviser] Valerie Jarrett in the White House.”

Kinder said the Ferguson protest movement was based on a lie–a discredited claim that Brown had his hands up and begged, “Don’t shoot!” before he was shot dead by Wilson.

“It’s bad enough the protestors were behaving that way, but we have a right to expect much more from the attorney general . . . and the president of the United States,” he said.

“Instead, what we got too often from them was incitement of the mob and encouraging disorder in Ferguson and disrupting the peaceable going about of our daily lives in the greater St. Louis region. It’s been enormously destructive and enormously hurtful.

“Ferguson is not a slum area, it is not even a declining area. It is a stable community filled with good people, solid businesses, and it was experiencing something of a renaissance of small businesses in the area where the rioting broke out before the 9th of August.”

Kinder said the Obama White House was guilty of an “enormous injustice perpetrated upon the good citizens of Ferguson.”

“We’ve never seen an administration like this. We’ve never seen a Department of Justice like this: staffed with radical, hard left, radical, leftist lawyers. They are not like any Justice Department in American history. Eric Holder is unlike any previous attorney general,” he said.

  • Before you get your hopes up about Peter Kinder:

He’s a “lover.” You figure out the first word. Yes, it starts with “N.”

    • johningermany

Still, anyone who stands up against the racism of Holder and Obama can’t be all bad.

      • Not any farther than I could throw him.

As it is, he’s not running for Governor. Those little improprieties of his from a few years ago apparently have not been forgotten.

        • Katherine McChesney

Exactly WHAT are his ‘little improprieties’?

          • WJaMrenfan

Well, he is not a model hero, that’s for sure. But, at least he is speaking sense about Ferguson. The stuff in that post will cause him a lot of trouble if he runs for higher office, but hopefully on the Ferguson topic others will speak up.

          • I could overlook this if I didn’t already know he was this state’s analogue of Jack Kemp.

          • Epiminondas

            Sounds like a typical sociopath.

          • LexiconD1

I don’t know, hypocrites tend to talk out of both sides of their mouth.

for the record, I don’t care what they ‘say’, I judge them by what they do.

          • IstvanIN

            Well, at least she’s White.

          • Katherine McChesney

So you’re taking the word of a two dollar whore? However, there must be some truth in what she’s saying.

          • I don’t know if we should, but she’s the reason why he didn’t run for Governor in 2012, and why he’s not running next year.

      • ElComadreja

        Make a bet?

    • Larry Klein

You sound like a SPLC troll. I could care less, at least he’s telling it like it is, calling out the tyrants.

      • Sorry if you don’t believe that I’ve been paying attention to him since 2004.

        • Larry Klein

He did a service unparallelled by any other public official of his stature.

          • He talked. Which is such a rare commodity in modern political life.

          • Larry Klein

I think you have a personal axe to grind with this guy. It’s unhealthy

          • No, I don’t know him. Just his history.

          • Usually Much Calmer

            That’s quite a leap.

    • MeanWhiteBoy

“We’ve come an enormous way in 50 years. That’s not to say we don’t have still more to do”
When I saw that he made this statement, I stopped reading. We do not have any more to do!

    • connorhus

As I said the other day one of his aides was also quite willing to discuss open hostility towards “Conservative Americans” by the Democrats back in December. I am not sure what game he is playing or even if his staff member was parroting their current view or not but he openly admitted this last election taught the state Republicans a few things. They are beginning to realize who actually puts them into office, or at least did for a few months. I imagine a few of them like Kinder still have to play nice with the Blacks in St. Louis and KC district but the disingenuous White Democrat voter is almost a thing of the past in Missouri. The college town of Columbia is about the only exception to the rule as I think even Springfield went Republican this time around.

Maybe we are seeing a dramatic shift in Republican sentiments here?

      • Alden

When politicians dare to say Whites instead of conservatives I will vote for one.Conservatives just blather anti abortion, pro business, etc and have done nothing to help Whites.
The White cause is not the conservative cause.

        • connorhus

I would beg to differ. Whites need nothing but a level playing field therefore a Conservative cause is all that is required. If the Constitution is followed according to the spirit and letter while travesties such as Affirmative Action and Government sticking it’s nose where it doesn’t belong are removed there would be no need for a White cause per se as natural selection and ability would take care of that for us.

          • Spikeygrrl

Ooo-rah to you!, I could not agree more.

Personally, I hate how the “Religious Right” has taken over the Conservative cause, but only because these clueless Bible-thumpers truly do not perceive that the perfect is the enemy of the good. Without them, front and center with their hatred of anyone who does not share their theology, this center-right nation would have never elected Slick Willy…and, of course, the rest is history.

    • IstvanIN

He doesn’t appear to be married to one.

    • El Baga Doucha Libtard

      Ahhhhh … nuts.

  • Luca

He was on a roll. But he should have also chastised those feral protestors and warned them about turning their town into Detroit 2.0.

    • Larry Klein

There were so many other other shysters to call out that I think it just sllipped his mind.

  • TomIron361

Well, let’s see what happens after the blacks burn down Ferguson this summer.

    • ElComadreja

Don’t you mean what’s left of Ferguson?

  • Guatemalan Housekeeper

    Dear Mr. Kinder;

Get a clue my friend, race is numero uno among Africans. Everything else is a secondary issue to that. Makes no difference if it’s a crack addict living under a bridge or the president, if they’re black, they share that same mindset. Only whites (and a few others like myself) make any attempt at being “color blind.”

    • Samuel Hathaway

You’re 100% correct, Guatemalan Housekeeper. Only whites have attempted to be colorblind, and a “few others like yourself.” Are you in fact, Guatamalan?

      • ElComadreja

She’s probably as Hispanic as I am, lol.

  • james AZ

    AGREE. 100%.

  • jaye ellis

Run this guy for Governor of MO.

  • LackawannaErie

But it is the left–the [Attorney General] Eric Holder and [President Barack] Obama left–and their minions who are obsessed with race while the rest of us are moving on beyond it.”

    ————————————————————————

No one but white Republicans is “moving beyond race.” Race is very, very important to blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, Jews etc.

  • A politician that actually speaks the truth? This is amazing. He needs support.

But he is too optimistic. What he said about Ferguson being stable is no more true, certainly not after Holder and Obama did their work to incite riots and arson by siding with liars and perjurors.

“Ferguson is not a slum area, it is not even a declining area. It is a stable community filled with good people, solid businesses, and it was experiencing something of a renaissance of small businesses in the area where the rioting broke out before the 9th of August.”

  • Epiminondas

A politician with balls. What a concept. Are there any more like him around?

    • bv

      How long will that last?

  • FozzieT

“Ferguson is not a slum area, it is not even a declining area. It is a stable community filled with good people, solid businesses…”

    Was. Not is.

    • ElComadreja

Yeah. He sounds a bit delusional.

  • Jeff

Wow, impressive comments by the Lt Governor. I’m always attentive when a politician in this country takes a stand against the hate mongers of the left. Especially knowing that the MSM will be sharpening the long knives to eviscerate him in as public a fashion as possible.

As for the “scandal”, I frankly find it nostalgically refreshing that he’s guilty of nothing more than being infatuated with a female of questionable morals. Very quaint and old fashioned. It’s almost charming in a Victorian sense of inproprietary.

    • jaye ellis

Always be on the look out for new, local talent.

Our best hopes are local boys and girls.

  • Spikeygrrl

I had never previously heard of Kinder, but he is now on my radar for MUCH bigger things.

YOW! Can you even begin to imagine what this nation could become if all our professional politicritters were that honest?! And can you envision the horror of many genuinely goodhearted, longtime center-left voters when finally brought face-to-face with the true objectives of the Soros/Soetoro/Ayers/Holder/Rodham Clinton/Cloward-Piven plan???

  • Ram Paul

Did anyone expect anything other than complete disaster from a black president?

    • ElComadreja

I’ve asked the same thing time after time on many forums. America doomed itself Nov. 4th 2008.

    • JustSayin

I’ve never seen so many White people who are aware of the black menace as I have during the last several years, and for that I thank Obama and his ilk of anti-White minorities and race traitors.

  • JohnEngelman

“We’ve come an enormous way in 50 years.”

    – Peter Kinder, lieutenant governor of Missouri

During the last 50 years whites have become more tolerant of black social pathology. Black social pathology has gotten worse.

  • AVOIDTHEGROID

“while the rest of us are moving on beyond it.”

    Speak for yourself.

  • Mjollner

They simply can’t let us forget about race, if that were to happen the great excuse for any type of African failure would invalid and that looks to currently unacceptable currently.
