Report: Protesters Yell at NYPD at Slain Officer Memorial

Ian Hanchett, Breitbart, December 22, 2014

CNN Correspondent Sara Ganim reported that a small group of protesters were yelling at police officers who had gathered to pay their respects at a memorial to slain NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos on Monday.

While Ganim said that most of the people who had showed up were paying their respects to the officers, she added “I do, just in full disclosure, want to say that in the last couple of minutes, for the first time today, we’ve seen protesters come out here and start yelling at groups of police who are mourning their slain police officers.”

Ganim continued “it’s just a few of them, Suzanne, and like I said, just in the last five minutes, and they’re quite frankly yelling at a group of police officers who are standing here silently, just looking at the memorial of candles and flowers and posters, and they’re yelling similar rhetoric that we’ve been hearing over the last couple of weeks related to the shooting of–the chokehold death of Eric Garner and the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri.”

    • See The Future

The proper response would be to string them up from lamp posts as a message for the rest.

      • mattj458

In a perfect world, in a perfect world.

    • evilsandmich

The fact that there wasn’t a full-on riot to put this “small group” into a hospital would tell me that there really weren’t that many citizens there supporting the officers either, alas. (Police in attendance would have their hands tied of course).

    • Oil Can Harry

Now that Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church is dead the left is copying his idea of protesting funerals.

    • Bornwinner_11

the perfect response for the pigs would to go kill there selves and family to make the world better blue lives dont matter

  • SentryattheGate

Policeman; what a thankless job! They have twice the suicide rate as the national average.

  • Samuel_Morton

“In full disclosure.” That’s what you say when you know you’ve done something wrong, and you don’t want to be caught lying about it later. CNN and every other MSM source knows they have been whipping up hatred with a completely false narrative, and now that blacks have begun reaping what the news networks have sown, they are falling over themselves trying to cover their tracks.

    • See The Future

It will be my pleasure to see all the white talking heads at CNN be replaced by blacks.

      • MannyR

Have you watched MSNBC lately? Nothing but nerdy negros in hipster glasses doing their best to talk white in a subtle non aggressive tone.

  • superlloyd

The hypocrisy of these idiots is beneath contempt.

  • dd121

Do you think they want to choose up sides? Let’s go.

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

      Let’s hope they do.

      They will lose.

  • John Smith

As disgusting as this is, it is beneficial to us. The more Joe Sixpack and Sally Soccermoms see this, the better.

I was also gratified when the police turned their backs on this pig who runs NY.

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Here’s a photo of the hospital hallway when the officers turned their backs on DeBlasio.

I think far more should be done – I’d like to see ‘justice’ visited upon the vile DeBlasio and the protesters HE encouraged.

If that were one of my family members, I would have DEMANDED that DeBlasio be barred from the hospital.

  • Latino Nationalist

Last week several individuals at a Pro-NYPD rally had t-shirts which read “I Can Breath.” Mocking the death of Eric Garner. So my point is there is no difference between both sides.

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

How could anyone yell “I can’t breathe” 11 times if he couldn’t breathe?

Only morons and idiots – like Al Sharpton and De Blasio – would believe that.

The cops didn’t kill Garner- too many years of KFC and smoking did.

      • Latino Nationalist

Who really knows what Garner felt. It’s a debatable question but let’s not sit here and pretend that Officer Pantaleo is totally innocent. I will say that these people turn everything into a race issue when in reality it’s not. People like Sharpton feed off incidents such as these.

        • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Garner had a criminal record including 30 arrests, on charges including assault and grand larceny. He also suffered from a number of health problems including heart disease, severe asthma, diabetes, obesity and sleep apnea.

He was in the process of resisting arrest by several officers.

Officer Pantaleo was instructed to take Garner into custody and he “used the takedown technique that he learned in the academy when Mr. Garner refused,” said Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch.

The 23-member grand jury included nine non-white jurors.

Garner did not die at the scene, he suffered cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and was pronounced dead an hour later.

If Garner had not resisted the arrest for illegally selling cigarettes, he wouldn’t be dead today.

          • Latino Nationalist

I get what you mean. Ever since I researched the incident that occurred with the Weaver family my entire outlook has changed. To top it off every single cop I know is a former nerd mad at the world. Enjoy your Christmas and be safe.

          • Dr.Bazzi

Garner was a criminal with 30 arrests as accurately pointed out, so he decided that he would not go for the 31st arrest, one could only wonder why. He knew the routine of being arrested and that his slick lawyer would have him out on the street again.

          • Bon, From the Land of Babble

            It’s a combination ultra-low IQ and brainwashing, i.e., “It ain’t my fault!”

He’s been told since birth that every failure, arrest and crime he commits is the fault of Whites – and he’s got the government, media and academia behind him — to also keep their jackboots on old Whitey neck when it comes to black- on-White crime.

        • MannyR

No offense there “esse” but could you SHUT UP! Fools like you are the problem. He was a career criminal being arrested for breaking the law after being warned multiple times, he choose to fight the cops,he lost period. There’s no more to the story. BTW this site isn’t for you. Your wasting your time.

I take offense to your “essse” comment. Secondly had no idea Spaniards weren’t welcomed here.

I know what you mean but sometimes these cops also get out of hand. Look what happen to the Weaver family. All four of my grandparents are Castilian. Hablas espanol?

          • propagandaoftruth

The world – and there for the set of worldlings known as “cops” – is imperfect and imperfectable.
Man, regardless if tincture, was born to suffer. The will toward justice is admirable, but evil can never be destroyed. It’s a question of degree.
            Lo hablo, si.

      • Nancy

Thanks for the head’s up, Bon! I bought a t-shirt for myself. Gotta love eBay!

        • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Wear it now – I have a feeling in 15 minutes no one will know what it means – another “crisis” will rear its head soon – just as the media moved on from Michael Brown after he served his purpose.

The “struggle” hasn’t been about justice in a long time.

          • Spikeygrrl

Hey, I still wear my “Palin 2012” fleece. Quite often.

I don’t give a rat’s butt if civilian leftards remember what it means. Whenever I’m on a military base (e.g., shopping at the commissary, seeing one of my doctors), AT LEAST three people — sometimes a dozen or more — stop me to compliment the sentiment.

So please don’t fret about your shirt becoming “obsolete.” Just think of it as a litmus test: anyone worth talking to WILL remember what it means.

    • MannyR

There’s a tremendous difference for one group that supports civilization and another that supports gang member thugs that murder and kill innocent people.

      • Latino Nationalist

I would never defend a thug like Michael Brown. The reality is that more Whites are killed by police but Sharpton doesn’t see it that way.

    • Bill Moore

      Hello Latino Nationalist,

The protesters are going after the wrong actors.

The real problem in the Eric Garner case is the greedy politicians that are
      taxing everything in sight.

When normal folks can’t afford a twenty-five cent pack of cigarettes, because
it has seven dollars of tax on it, and are reduced to buying one cigarette at a
time, can’t we see that something is wrong?

The police are then ordered to go after the fellow selling one cigarette at a
      time.

The proper response to Eric Garner dying is to go pick up about ten politicians
and chain each of them to a bumper of a car by their ankle, then drive the car
around until the only thing left is a part of a leg.

      That’s my thoughts,

      Bill Moore

      • PvtCharlieSlate

        Jeez, Bill.
That’ll leave an awful mess in the street and it’ll draw flies, too.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

CNN Correspondent Sara Ganim reported that a small group of protesters were yelling at police officers

    Was one of them DeBlasio?

I swear if one of those slain police officers were one of my family members I would do everything I could to keep the likes of DeBlasio – and Biden, for God’s Sake – away from their funerals.

I would fight tooth and nail, physically if I had to, if either of them tried to attend.

    • MannyR

Good looking women that DeBlasio is married to. Something tells me this guy has had low self esteem for quite a while.

      • Belinda Boundreau

DeBlasio: ‘amish’ choice for ‘mayor'(?) of NYC? ‘amish’ control under Bloomer was just too obvious.

  • IstvanIN

We have become a nation of savages.

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Why I prefer White-run societies which are orderly and based on Rule of Law.

Without Rule of Law there is brutal violence, chaos and anarchy – or an authoritarian, strong-arm police state to control violence, chaos and anarchy.

We are no longer a White-run society; in fact our overlords are doing everything they can to tear apart White heritage, history and culture.

      • IstvanIN

        You are 100% correct.

      • phillyguy

and boy are they succeeding, I hope I am still living when the day comes when the s**t hits the fan.

  • mattj458

Side note as I don’t know where to comment on it. The “peaceful protesters” in Cleveland over the weekend, most wearing masks, assault the network news camera man in front of police. No charges. What part of peaceful makes masks necessary? Cowards make masks necessary.

    • SentryattheGate

I vaguely remember hearing years ago that it’s illegal to wear a mask in public; varies with location no doubt.

  • Belinda Boundreau

Comments state it isn’t Michael Brown. Often typical negro behavior though.

  • NoMosqueHere

Hopefully things will come to a head and all the self hating whites will come home.

  • Vito Powers

I was watching CNN during Sarah’s “full disclosure” moment. All she did was TALK about protesters being there. The camera didn’t pan over to the protesters at all, it just stayed fixated on Sarah babbling.

We can’t have visuals of the “peaceful protesters” not being peaceful, can we?

  • WR_the_realist

The Westboro Baptist Church has found its match on the left.

  • Ringo Lennon

I don’t believe for one minute this is about cops killing black thugs. These are communist and anarchist groups doing this. If I was the NYPD I would put out investigators and seek out the leaders of these groups and deal with them harshly.

  • rebelcelt

Blacks want the right to kill Whites without repercussions. Whether it is a White Citizen when he is Polar Bear hunting, a storekeeper who is not handing the cash over fast enough , or a policeman doing his job. They are incensed that a White man might just have the sand to resist his violence and shoot him dead. They hate themselves for their own failure as a people and grasp desperately, at excuses that White Liberals provide. I wish we could force all White Liberals to live in the black neighborhoods. I mean the real slums that Blacks create. Force them to send their children to all black under performing schools.

  • SentryattheGate

I agree! I’ve seen this years ago,and was pleased to see it again. We must support our local police from federal control and increasing militarization.
