Private Autopsy Suggests Vonderrit Myers Was Shot While Fleeing St. Louis Officer

Robert Patric, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, October 24, 2014

A private autopsy of Vonderrit D. Myers Jr., killed Oct. 8 by a St. Louis police officer, shows that his wounds included six shots in the back of his legs and one in the face, a forensic pathologist reported Thursday.

Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, consulting for Myers’ family, said he examined the body, visited the scene in the Shaw neighborhood and was aware of witness statements provided by family lawyers before concluding that Myers was shot while fleeing up a steep hill.

In all, Myers, 18, had seven leg wounds, several with upward trajectories. Wecht said he was unable to determine the order of the shots, but that at least one of the leg wounds would have felled Myers immediately and the head wound would have rendered him unconscious.

Police have said that Myers fired first in a confrontation about 7:30 p.m. near Shaw Boulevard and Klemm Street, and that he was found with a gun that matched to three bullets recovered from the ground near where the officer had been.

Jerryl Christmas, one of the Myers family lawyers, said witnesses told their investigator that Myers was fleeing and “begging for his life” before the officer walked up and delivered the final shot.

As Myers’ mother and father looked on, Christmas and lawyer Jermaine Wooten told reporters they believe the crippling leg wound came between the fourth and seventh shots, and that the head wound was from the last shot.

They deny that Myers fired or even had a gun.

Brian Millikan, the attorney for the officer, said Thursday that those lawyers’ interpretation was “just not true.”

“All of the bullet entry wounds are exactly consistent with what the officer told investigators,” he said.

Millikan said Myers did climb a small hill, then turned and began shooting. The officer took cover and returned fire, Millikan said. He said that Myers ended up on his side, with his legs and his gun pointing at the officer. The lawyer said he believes that the leg wounds happened at that point.

He said the officer then took cover behind a building on the same level as Myers. Millikan said the final shots were fired after the officer ordered Myers to drop the gun, which was still in Myers’ hand, and that Myers responded with curses. When the officer looked again, Millikan said, he saw the gun on the ground.

Wecht said that one shot struck Myers in the left leg, somewhat to the side of his thigh. Three shots hit him in the back of the right thigh, between his buttocks and his knee. Three more hit his left leg, two in the thigh and one in his calf. Five of those bullets were recovered in the body. None of the shots was close-range, he said.

Preliminary autopsy results released earlier this month by the St. Louis medical examiner, Dr. Michael Graham, showed that Myers was shot from six to seven times in the lower extremities. The fatal shot entered Myers head through his right cheek and was recovered in the body, he said.

Asked Thursday about Wecht’s conclusions, Graham said, “I don’t know that you can say that somebody was fleeing, because that implies intent.” He cautioned that he could not determine the sequence of shots without other physical evidence and witness statements. But he said that Wecht’s conclusions appeared to be similar to his own regarding the wounds.

Under questioning, Wecht acknowledged that Myers may have suffered leg wounds while lying down.

The official autopsy report won’t be finished for at least seven weeks, Myers family lawyers said, due to pending laboratory and toxicology results. Wecht said that he would wait to produce his final results until he receives the official report. He said he obtained a diagram of the wounds, but had not seen any other autopsy results, which he said are “very important” when conducting a second autopsy.

{snip}

The shooting prompted protests and claims that Myers was holding a sandwich, not a gun, when he was killed. Christmas said Thursday that independent investigations should be conducted of all police shootings.

In response, police union officials and lawyers released information, including the officer’s claim that he thought before giving chase that Myers might have had a gun, and lab results indicating that Myers had fired a gun.

Union officials also said photos circulating on social media showed Myers posing at some earlier point with the handgun found after the shooting.

Police said lab tests found gunshot residue on Myers’ hands, shirt and inside the waistband and pockets of his jeans consistent with the firing of a gun.

This is the racist White version filled with all kind of so-called facts and evidence and all that White people mumbo-jumbo.

Now for the “keepin it real” black version: Meyers was sitting down under a tree eating a sandwich and studying for the bar exam when an officer came up and executed him for dropping some crumbs on the ground. First the officer shot him six times in the leg to make him suffer and then delivered the “coup de grace” at point blank range while Meyers begged for mercy, with his hands up and offered no resistance.

they should have hired one of them African witch doctors to do the autopsy.

    • The hilariously ironic aspect to recent events in the St. Louis area is that these sorts of shenanigans are the exact opposite of how to be taken seriously by the rest of society. Making up nonsense in the face of all facts to the contrary and then throwing a collective temper tantrum over the aforementioned fictional nonsense makes them seem like a bunch of spoiled children. Black leaders’ constant catering to this nonsense merely undermines their credibility – what little they have among all but the most pathologically lib-tarded – with the other 88% of the country.

Myers’ family members say he “dint do “nuffins”. Why can’t we just accept that and move on.

It is time for Whites to stop allowing that kind stupidity to even enter the public discourse. It is demeaning to lend any credence whatsoever to such drivel.

The race hustlers such as J. Jackson and Al Sharpton need to be shut down. Why do we allow them even one nano second of air time?

    • bilderbuster

We know for a fact that at one time Sharpton was a government operative and somehow keeps getting better jobs & is promoted by the media, never gets discredited no matter how outrageous his behavior, fools around with the IRS and doesn’t suffer for it, and gets invites to the White House.
I’m convinced that this clown has been protected for decades by powerful forces in the US government that goes beyond having “friends in high places”.

      • B B

        ditto. never have. never will.

    • Germanicus

Suggest the means of “shutting thwm down.”

      • anony

Right off the top, media should not give them one nano-second of air time. I’m not suggesting any form of violence, btw, but derision at every turn sounds good along with no media whatsoever!

As an example, why has no one, to my knowledge, in the media not re-visited the entire Tawana Brawley case? Big Al perpetrated that crime.

Now as to how this could be done, I have no idea.

        • Jacobite2

I disagree. In case you hadn’t noticed, violence has been on the table, for non-whites, ever since 1964. Personally, I’m getting tired of feeling like I’m a character in an old Western movie, where the hero’s girlfriend has been kidnapped and so he has to take all the BS the bad guys are handing him. You know, once his girlfriend has escaped and he sees her peeking around a building, he proceeds to awesomely kick major *ss. When US blancos are going to get in gear is my question.

          • anony

Actually, I have noticed the violence, and I think it’s been around long before 1964.

To use your analogy, the girlfriend has not yet escaped, so it would be fool-hardy for Whites to initiate violence against the bad guys right now. When she does escape, or is rescued, all bets are off.

          • Jacobite2

Before 1964, when you saw the words ‘race riot’ in a newspaper, it would be referring to whites attacking non-whites. The last big race riot in Detroit (before ’67) was about 20 years before, when whites ran wild in some ‘neighborhoods’. And WW II was extra-special — white race riots against Mexicans (the ‘zoot suiters’) in L.A.; white riots in the Birmingham, AL shipyards, for just two. Just as your failure to get the flu shows that your immune system is strong, and killing off the alien viruses, so white riots are signs that American society’s immune system is strong and effective in keeping alien races under control.

        • Germanicus

What works with your idea is that the media operates, essentially, outside of the courts and administrative law. Unfortunately, this new institution has not only been captured by, but it is the creation of, the tyrannical forces to which we are subjected in a soft slavery. For a little while we have something of free range on the internet–but of course not really anonymously. We need to use it while it lasts.

    • DiversityIsDeath

You know why. Because “the chosen ones” who control the media and public discourse have a vested interest in keeping this nonsense going. They LOVE this stuff.

Sure as we’ve seen in Big Mikes case private autopsies aren’t all that reliable. Was his fee paid before or after his press conference?

    • bilderbuster

This guy Wecht (forensic pathologist, lawyer) has been around forever since being a coroner in Pittsburgh (Democrat). He spent years on the JFK assasination. I was not surprised to see them bring him out if the fridge for this lib cause.

  • If living anywhere near whites is so dangerous for the n-tards, perhaps they should all just leave.

They have the most resource-rich continent on Earth, yet can’t manage to live above subsistence-level poverty.

It’s like that old joke about the angel Gabriel talking with God after He created the Earth, asking God what He was thinking by putting all the great natural resources (gold, diamonds, oil, metals, cool animals, etc.) in a singe continent?

Then God says, “Yeah…but wait til you see the kind of PEOPLE I put there!”

          • kikz2

great quote ‘attributed’ to darwin.. although doubtful.. but germaine……none the less…

“Since the dawn of history the negro has owned the continent of Africa –
rich beyond the dream of poet’s fancy, crunching acres of diamonds
beneath his bare black feet. Yet he never picked one up from the dust
until a white man showed to him its glittering light. His land swarmed
with powerful and docile animals, yet he never dreamed a harness, cart,
or sled. A hunter by necessity, he never made an axe, spear, or
arrowhead worth preserving beyond the moment of its use. He lived as an
ox, content to graze for an hour. In a land of stone and timber he never
sawed a foot of lumber, carved a block, or built a house save of broken
sticks and mud. With league on league of ocean strand and miles of
inland seas, for four thousand years he watched their surface ripple
under the wind, heard the thunder of the surf on his beach, the howl of
the storm over his head, gazed on the dim blue horizon calling him to
worlds that lie beyond, and yet he never dreamed a sail.”— Charles
            Darwin

          • Samuel Hathaway

Charles Darwin did have some insight, didn’t he?

          • anony

The quote is all anyone needs to know to understand totally why blacks in this country, in fact worldwide, are the bottom of the barrel.

It’s not about slavery, it’s not about poverty, it’s not about oppression, it’s not about micro-aggressions, it’s not about discrimination, it’s not about unequal schools.

            It’s about being sub-Saharan African.

        • mikekingjr

Heck, Mr. Scott, I might be able to contend with that, if the American negroes do not invade Africa. Give me a fair shot. I’ll go live with and defend my Afrikaaner Brothers and Sisters. I’m sure they are a fascinating and worthy bunch.

      • mikekingjr

  • WNs and race realists know the truth, but the average college student, secretary, sanitation worker, etc, hears these nonsensical stories and believes that blacks are oppressed, murdered, and persecuted by whites, through the police.

Thus, even though the story told by blacks here is stupid, from a propaganda standpoint, there is a victory for liberals and blacks. The politicians are going to send more gifts to the blacks and quite possibly reach a settlement with the parents.

Not until we start winning the propaganda war will these cases go away.

    • I no longer care what they believe. Moreover, I would be delighted if the left’s narrative was actually true. I wouldn’t oppress my Japanese wife as if some sort of nasty Euro-patriarch, because I love her, but cracking skulls all day long before being hosed off in uniform now has a certain appeal.

      • Lt. Greyman, NVA

I agree Michael. Whites always lead with talk, logic, “assessing the situation” negotiation and finally force. They beg the negro to “act” civilized. Never happens.

negros lead with force, enabled by their tribal big men.

One thing that has gotten through to me over the years is to stop talking. Whites can’t justify, plead or argue any more. Fight for their survival or be sheep, but don’t impede those who wish to survive.

    • MBlanc46

It might help if we presented a public presence the way the Michael Brown and Vonderrit Myers (and before them, Trayvon Martin) agitators do. We could use some rallies and marches in support of the police officers involved in these cases.

  • LHathaway

We had something like this at a strip mall I a worked (I wasn’t working that day, thank goodness). An individual from a certain ethnic background robbed a jewelry store a coupe of shops down from where I worked. As the perp left, the store owner (russian) shot the perp in the back as he was leaving. He died on the sidewalk outside. No protest. No notice taken. No police action. I still say it was murder, since the the guy shot him in the back as he was leaving. I do imagine these types of murders happen, even at the hands of police officers. In this case, since/if the guy had fired shots at the officer (or even if he simply still had a gun, perhaps) I don’t think the officer shooting him in the back should be charged with a crime. At least not murder.

    • I just do not care. Good shooting!

It is long past time that this BS stopped. It must stop now. Ordinary people will do it if the police will not.

Hey Michael whats your funniest/craziest prison story involving blacks? Or even whats it like living in prison amongst them? I imagine it to be one super stressful nightmare

        • The funniest was a “fight” in the shower in the Denver County Jail. I was punched by a black guy and ducked just enough that his fist ran into my forehead, and not my snot-box. He broke every bone in his hand, and it sounded like gravel crunching. I didn’t go down, but he ran right away. His right hand eventually swelled up to the size of a football and needed surgery to save it.

I refused to provide information or press charges, because I wasn’t a rat, but I thought it was completely hilarious.

          • Itooktheredpill

I just happened to catch a few minutes of Bill O’Reilly last night (I don’t watch him often) and he was presenting the evidence that tended to prove that the ‘gentle giant’ had attacked and rushed Darren Wilson—and the two negro ‘pastors’ took the position that the facts were open to ‘intepretation’.

Facts NEVER mean anything to negroes hell bent on demanding retribution for a White invoking reasonable self-defense.

    • mikekingjr

      retribution fo’ da slobbery.

    • Samuel Hathaway

yeah, I saw the two black “pastors.” More evidence to tune them out and NEVER trust a word they say about anything. O’Reilly was too charitable. I would have pulled the kill switch, muted them both and immediately gone to a commercial break instead of letting them rant on and on.

almost every black male i know over the age of twenty is a pastor or a reverend or something like that.

        • Samuel Hathaway

Oh, listen, even black women are onto the “preachin’ thang.” A 400 pound black woman in another dept. in the bldg. I work in is actually a “REVEREND” on the side. When she told me this, i wanted to laugh, but I just nodded in polite agreement whether it was true or not.

i’m all for the Bible and Christian living; however, when I hear the word “REVEREND” it conjures up such phonies as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the granddaddy of ’em all… the REVEREND Dr. Martin Luther King, Joonyah.

          • This is becoming a “reverend” requires no real accreditation. Some of the diploma mills sell doctorate of divinity degrees. One could probably order one online for about $20.

          • Samuel Hathaway

I’m much more inclined to listen to a “street” preacher in a large city than these “reverends” who do it because it’s more in tune with the “black historical experience.”

          • Nancy

At the first school where I worked downtown, the music teacher went by the name “Dr. Balbour”. This dude went on and on about how he used to tour with Ike and Tina Turner or some such nonsense, and the common understanding was he bought his PhD through mail order.

Incidentally, the teachers all pointed out one of our part-time janitors, a humongous Bantu woman who seriously resembled a large gorilla. They said she was Evander Holyfield’s sister. She certainly LOOKED like she could be related, but who knows?

Bottom line: These people will do just about ANYTHING to make themselves appear smarter, or more famous. The annual Atlanta auditions for Star Search caused quite a frenzy every year, with kids telling me “they momma’s gonna take dem down to Stahhh Search”.

Thank God I left before Tyler Perry built his studio down the street. I can only imagine what those bantu knuckleheads brag to each other nowadays: “My momma’s be takin’ me to Tyler Perry to be inz da MOVIES!”

I know…just the other night, I was at a Parent Meeting for my oldest’s Spring Break trip to Europe. We were in the teacher’s classroom up at the high school, and all the kids going on the trip were there, filling out paperwork and whatnot.

These two bantu sisters were there with their mother, and we had to waste a full five or ten minutes listening to the teacher attempting to puzzle out the correct spelling and pronunciation of their nonsensical names: something like “La’Daronda” and “La’Dalanda” or something equally absurd.

I can’t begin to tell you how difficult it was for me to sit there with a straight face, and not cut my eyes over to my kid. Especially when the teacher asked, “How am I going to be able to remember who’s who?” (I SO WANTED to call out, “I know! Let’s give them two ACTUAL names, for starters.”)

If I were the cop, instead of hitting him 7 times in the legs, I would have aimed straight for the bojeebees*, to make certain there would not be any more Vonderrits sprouting from this Dindu’s loins.

*Ebonic translation of the white racist word, ‘testicles’.

    • LIBERTYSINCURSION

“there would not be any more Vonderrits sprouting” – Did I miss something or what? Cause I thought he accomplished that task just fine with his chosen marksmanship.

      • RacialRay

I don’t suppose the cop meant to kill the perp, but rather to halt his advance (or retreat). Since its always such a messy thing for a white cop to snuff out a black suspect, and since there were so many successful hits to the brotha’s legs, I will assume that the cop was attempting merely to ‘shoot out the tires’. I am suggesting that by aiming for the sack, he could stop the perp AND preclude the possibility of any future chilluns, without having to explain why it was necessary to actually kill him.

        • blanjm5

The account given by the cop was that the suspect fell. His legs and gun were pointed at the cop. This accounts for the upward trajectory of the rounds.

Military and LEO the world over are taught to aim center mass. Sharpshooting appendages only happens in the movies.

These lawyers representing these scum Negro and making the police out to be executioners should be tried as well. They can share a cell with the vile Negro they are trying to release back into our society.

  • Until this autopsy of St. Sandwich making the issue muddier, it was definitely St. Swisher. But now, with St. Swisher becoming settled science and St. Sandwich having question marks, the script is going to flip.

QD, while watching the Weather Channel this morning (only to discover yet ANOTHER day in the mid-80s…I hate Atlanta), the weatherman was talking about record highs today in St. Louis. I thought of you.

Surely the natives will be even more restless than usual. Hopefully they’ll hold off a few more days releasing any more evidence, you think? No sense in stirring the pot, at least while the ferals can run around in shorts and t-shirts, shooting their loaded sammiches everywhere.

      • The whole weekend has been warm, peaking with today. But after today it’s going to get back down to normal. Long term we’re not going to have our usual rotten November weather until about the middle of November. If I’m gaming that, then I think Bob McCulloch is gaming that.

They might as well make T-shirts that say “I am black” or “I am a hoodrat.”

That’ll cover all the thugs that commit suicide by cop!

Yet another example of diversity causing racial conflict and social upheaval. Still waiting for the ‘enlightened’ to provide evidence showing that “diversity is our strength”. Just hearing or saying it doesn’t mean that it’s true. If they truly believe it, surely they can articulate how having blacks amongst us is a benefit to society and how the pros outweigh the cons. Because I just don’t see it.

    • B B

you never will because there is no benefit whatsoever. negros ruin everything they touch.

      • They certainly ruined Camden, New Jersey. That city was once home to New York Shipbuilding & Drydock Corporation, which during World War Two was the largest, most productive shipyard in the world. Among other ships, they built the supercarrier “Kitty Hawk”, the battleship “South Dakota”, the large cruisers “Alaska” and “Guam”, the heavy cruisers “Salt Lake City”, “Chester”, “Indianapolis”, “Bremerton”, “Fall River”, “Toledo” and “Macon”, the light cruisers “Savannah”, “Phoenix”, “Nashville”, “Cleveland”, “Columbia”, “Montpelier”, “Denver”, “Atlanta”, “Dayton”, “Worcester” and “Roanoke” and the light carriers “Independence”, “Princeton”, “Belleau Wood”, “Cowpens”, “Monterey”, “Langley”, “Cabot”, “Bataan”, “San Jacinto”, “Wright” and “Saipan”. Postwar they built the fast combat support ship “Camden” and three of the Thresher/Permit class nuclear attack submarines, “Pollack”, “Haddo” and “Guardfish”. “Pogy” had to be towed from there to Pascagula, Mississippi for final completion at the Ingalls yard there. (Conway’s All The World’s Fighting Ships 1922-1946 and 1947-1995).

The shipyard closed in 1968 after 69 years of production.

  • Who Me?

“It was a sammwich, not a gun. And iffn it was a gun, it was somebody else’s fault. It was the fault of YT cause we don’ gots mo money. Gibbsmedat!”

    • Social media pictures of him taken by his friends clearly show him brandishing handguns, including one that shows him with three of them. Since handguns can not be sold to persons under 21, this strongly suggests that the other two were also stolen.

A prompt search warrant of his mother’s home would likely have turned up the other two pistols, but I imagine she has since disposed of them, which is felony evidence tampering.

  • “His parents still deny he had a gun.”

Instead of making lame excuses after the fact, maybe Vonderrit’s imbecilic parents should have taught him not to shoot at cops, rather than waiting until the police gave him a doctorate-level education on the subject. Additionally, since he was under house-arrest on an ankle monitor at the time while a previous weapons charge was working its way through the court system, perhaps they should also have told him to stay home. The fact that he was outside was already a violation of his bond conditions, whether he had a handgun, a sandwich or anything else. Since the gun was reported stolen only 8 days before his fatal encounter with the cops, it seems overwhelmingly likely that this wasn’t the first time he violated his house-arrest court-order.

I don’t have a real job, haven’t had one since early 2006, and don’t want one. If a judge gave me a PR bond with house-arrest on an ankle monitor, it wouldn’t affect me at all; my wife would do the shopping, and I’d finish up the projects around the house that I’m already working on. In other words, impact would be effectively zero. Vonderrit was doubtless likewise unemployed, and I very much doubt he was in school (though house arrest conditions normally allow one to go to work, school, medical appointments and meetings with the probation department). For him, staying home should have been a completely convenient no-brainer. He wouldn’t have had as many options as I as to how to spend his time at home, but that’s the result of 30 years’ accumulation of tools on my part.

If he had stayed home, Myers would be having Thanksgiving dinner with his mother in just under five weeks from now, maybe a little worried about whether he was going to get jail or prison time for for his June case, but otherwise in fine health. That wasn’t a priority for him, while doing more of the same stuff that got him arrested last summer was. In fact, since he was already under indictment or information for a felony, possession of any sort of firearm at all would instantly constitute a separate federal felony, whether the weapon was stolen or not. Even if he had peacefully surrendered, he would have been locked up for violating bond, and the feds would have given him 60 months for the gun, of which he’d have to serve 53. That age can be a great time in a guy’s life, but I can think of better ways to spend it than rotting in a cell.

    • MBlanc46

I doubt that Vonderrit had the long-term planning capacity or the self-control to avoid a violent encounter with the police at some point. No more than Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown did. Violent outbursts were going to manifest themselves sooner or later. Society is probably better off that they happened sooner rather than later, and that they ended fatally for the teens.

  • jayvbellis

All Amren readers should note that it is now standard procedure for Black race hustlers to commission their own “private autopsy” to be used to spread PC disinformation to back up their lies.

Our side must insist that there are no such things as “private autopsies” only official, state sanctioned autopsies by accredited medical certified officials.

Anybody can hire some quack to look at a dead body and claim most anything, demonic possession or some other nonsense.

    • The one Michael Brown’s family hired wasn’t even state-certified to conduct a post-mortem, so I imagine that any court testimony he tried to provide as an expert witness would be disregarded at best, and might theoretically result in him being cited for contempt.

    • Unfortunately, cops do sometimes overstep their authority and kill people unjustifiably. Black hoodlums, and their families, are spoiling what might otherwise be an effective tool against a government that often defends bad cops when they murder.
