Boston ‘Teeming with Protesters’ in Giant Rally Against Housing Illegal Immigrants in the State

Dave Urbanski, The Blaze, July 26, 2014

Illegal immigration protesters descended upon historic Boston on Saturday decrying Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick’s decision to offer shelter in the state to unaccompanied minors.

While Bree Sison of WBZ-TV estimated the crowd numbering in the hundreds, Boston.com described the area in front of the State House as “teeming with protesters,” noting that rally organizer Jeff Kuhner, host of WRKO’s The Kuhner Report, put the number closer to 10,000.

More from Boston.com:

This week, a state official said it remained ‘unclear’ how many unaccompanied minors crossing the nation’s southern border illegally would be coming to Massachusetts and how many could stay in the state longer. The state has offered to house up to 1,000 children at one of two secure facilities for up to four months.

“I’ve never seen any kind of a backlash like this before on any issue ever,” Kuhner said of Patrick’s decision, Boston.com noted. “People in this state are livid. They feel betrayed by the political elite.”

Kuhner also noted what he saw as a diverse group:

When I see this army in front of me, and I see them black and white, Hispanic, young, old, men, women, Americans, children, adults, rich, poor, veterans–our great veterans–legal immigrants like Jeff Kuhner, that when I raised the alarm, when I called out for all of you to come, and I see so many of you here standing by me shoulder to shoulder, I can’t tell you . . . how honored, humbled, and touched I am.

Patrick was elected twice with the help of a third-party straw candidate. He is pure scum.

  • Jeff Kuhner sometimes guests hosts for Michael Savage, so he’s got a little bit of national name recognition.

When I found out about this surprise good news on Saturday, and saw that it was in Boston, one of the first things that came to mind was that I wouldn’t want to be Jeanne Shaheen right now. And right on cue, good ole Scott Brown was first this season to use this Camp of the Saints influx in a media buy. Now there’s one who knows how to shoot, and at something other than his own foot.

    Leftist hypocrites:
Diversity for thee, but not for me
Freedom for me, but not for thee

    • propagandaoftruth

Do they want them back where they came from or would they be OK sending them down South or out in the heartland to Dem those racist strongholds up I wonder?

  • Black Plague

The protestors will not prevail. They’ll be labeled racists and then it’s game over.

    • LACountyRedneck

We need 50,000,000 racist protesters making noise. We’re all racists. So what. Lets water down that term even further.

  • Adolf Verloc

Don’t be a piker, Gov. Patrick! We can send you LOTS more!

  • Einsatzgrenadier

If these protesters want to have an impact, they should show up in Washington and try storming the White House instead.

    • LACountyRedneck

      “…they should…”. WE should.

Boston and Massachusetts have a lot more realists than it would appear from their electoral choices. Too many have Irish Alzheimer’s, which causes them to forget everything but their grudges. The GOP was associated with the old Yankees they hated, so they hate the GOP. Not that the GOP is so great (especially the Mass. GOP, to call them RINOs is to mischaracterize them as more conservative than they are). However, the Democrats are out to replace them, and to make their kids’ and grandkids’ lives more difficult and dangerous, and they still go pull the lever for them. If they would only at least refrain, or vote third party, I would not mind so much, but dang, they pull for the Democrats. As for the Yankees, they barely exist anymore, having used birth control and general ennui to cut their numbers dramatically. The last thing the people have to worry about is the old New England Yankee types.

Send them to Harvard—I’m sure the liberals there will find a home for these ‘dreamers’.

  • Protests might have some effect in a representative government or in a government of laws. But this is no longer a government of laws. Not until protests disrupt the system, such as with a general strike, will anything much happen. The “people’s voice” is a laugh these days.

Boston needs to feel more pain, too many there don’t get it.

    • LACountyRedneck

Too many everywhere don’t get involved. I’m ready to make some noise.

    They’re teenagers – many of them are gangbangers … If you’re 15, you’re not a child. A child is 12 and under.

According to the Obama regime, a child is anyone under 32. Some of these children are even attempting to enroll in schools:

Adult Illegal Immigrants Posing as Children To Enroll in High School

Adult illegal immigrants posing as unaccompanied alien children appear to be attempting to enroll at public high schools.

Some of them have had gray hair and they’re telling you that they’re 17 years old and they have no documentation, Jamie Cerulli, the Lynn mayor’s chief of staff, tells NRO.

The most liberal city in the most liberal state is protesting against liberalism:

Once Patrick was re-elected, he threw under the bus his campaign trail promise to implement Obama’s Secure Communities program that notifies ICE of illegal immigrants who are arrested for other crimes Patrick set up secret hearings around the state to solicit input from only pro-illegal immigration special-interest groups.

Here’s Deval Patrick and his State Police Chief. This is what you voted for, Boston.

Ever see a picture of the newly commissioned Naval Admiral? 5’2″, black…never helmed even a Boston Whaler or flew a kite. Yet she’s going to be in charge or a Navy Task force, including an aircraft carrier….understanding the complexity of “trapping” an F18 at night, on a black rolling deck, in the middle of an ocean ( that is if she isn’t spewing her guts out from sea sickness ) somewhere near Libya? If she can find it on a map? BTW…I’m all for a transgender getting command of a boomer someday too.

      • Wholly Unconvinced

Sickening insanity… military affirmative action that high up the chain is just ridiculous.

  • Zimriel

I’m sure these protests will have the same effect that the anti-busing protests did. Noise will be made, some moron or moby will get violent and then the whites will move elsewhere and vote for Democrats.

    • JohnEngelman

Most Americans react against those who initiate the use of civil violence. The violent response to non violent civil rights demonstrations caused the civil rights legislation to be passed.

      • Valmont

JFK got shot by “a pathetic little Communist” (Jackie’s verdict), and that, indirectly, caused civil rights legislation to be passed.

        • JohnEngelman

It contributed. The main factor was segregationist violence.

          • LACountyRedneck

Yes. Violence works. Voting from a few lousy options doesn’t.

          • JohnEngelman

You do not seem to understand my reasoning. Segregationist violence helped the integrationist movement.

    • FlaVet

Bingo…and as always against their own interests. Buh bye “America”. They can always become a colony again….of Venezuela or Cuba this time around. And Juan Veldaz can be their diversity governor.

    • Correct. Nothing will change. Certainly not in Boston, bastion of liberal elitism.
Doesn’t anyone get it? The whole thing is about eliminating the middle class.
Between the banks, the 3rd world invasion and job outsourcing, it’s a fait acompli.
While protests like this are better than nothing, they’re still a pee-shooter in the night.

  • MBlanc46

There are many decent, hardworking Americans in Massachusetts. To the best of my knowledge, I’ve still got some relative there and I hope that they still fit into that category. Some still vote Democrat for historical reasons, just as many decent, hardworking citizens of Cook County, Illinois, do. Perhaps if the Repubs weren’t the party of the plutocrats and cheap labor, more decent, hardworking citizens would vote for them.

    • FlaVet

Yea…they vote “Dem”….when Kennedy was in reality a Republican. But they’ve been stuck on stupid ever since…..hoping for a another King named…Kennedy.

      • MBlanc46

In Chicago, they used to say, “In Chicago, the Dems are the Repubs”.

    • JohnEngelman

Yeah, I guess. And if the moon was made of green cheese we could use it to feed the hungry.

The Republican Party exists to advance the economic interests of the richest ten percent of the United States. If it did not do that it would not be the GOP.

      • MBlanc46

I can’t disagree with that, John. But it’s pretty hard to make a case that the Dems don’t have their noses as far up the rear-ends of plutocrats as the Repubs do.

        • JohnEngelman

If the Democrats had a veto proof majority in the Senate, and a significant majority in the House of Representatives they would raise the top tax rate, like they did in 1993, and throughout the Roosevelt administration.

If the Republicans had the White House and both Houses of Congress, they would cut taxes for the rich. Tax policy is one significant area where the Democrats and the Republicans differ.

  • Paleoconn

Deval Patrick is a hated, corrupt, spend-crazy governor. He spends taxpayers’ traveling the world. Typical black politician. perhaps he should invite these gangbangers to live in his house or in his neighborhood.

Governor O’Malley of Maryland at least showed his hypocrisy early on by saying his state does not welcome these illegals…right after saying we can’t send them back to their own dysfunctional countries.

Patrick and his elitist cronies should be forced to house and feed these people. Ditto Obama.

It’s so nice to see people making sense for once. In this PC age where down is up, it’s so refreshing to see some common sense.

That whirring sound you hear is Teddy Kennedy spinning in his casket at a very high rate of angular velocity.

    • FlaVet

Do you really care if he’s spinning?

You’re the man Jared. I’m just one of a million or so very peed off vets. But…whatever, right? God Bless ya brother. At the risk of you not being a believer…..which I care not about…LMAO. And I’m waiting for you to get 5,000 comments and 10,000 up votes. Welcome friend. Somehow…somewhere…I lost my 5,000 or so….on this Disqus animal.

    • FlaVet

Back at you Sir…thanks for the thumbs up….

      • Jared Arrevois

        Same!

  • Not a word in any of the major news networks about this. Instead they’re talking about how the First Family is visiting the MC-17 crash site.

  • Billy Clinter

Obama should house them in the Lincoln bedroom if he is so in love with these ‘children’.
