77% Want Illegals Sent Home, 81% Say It’s a Serious Issue

Paul Bedard, Washington Examiner, July 28, 2014

A huge majority of Americans, 81 percent, believe the new immigration crisis of unaccompanied children streaming over the U.S.-Mexico border is serious, and almost as many want them gone–some even if it’s not safe to return, according to a new poll.

In an Economist/YouGov.com survey, however, the public isn’t heartless in how they view the plight of the children, with 66 percent expressing sympathy for their situation that drove them north, where U.S. Border Control officers are catching the new arrivals for immigration processing.

But while there is an understanding among many Americans that some of the children are fleeing violence in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, a majority, 57 percent, believe the illegal immigrants are coming to America because they believe “that the U.S. government is or will be granting amnesty to undocumented immigrant children,” said the new poll.

{snip}

While 77 percent said they want the illegals returned, there are different degrees in how fast it should be done. For example, 10 percent said that Border Control should just return the children to the Mexican border. Another 32 percent said that the children should be returned home “regardless of conditions in their home country,” and 35 percent said they should be returned “only if” conditions are safe.

…and send home future democratic voters? This government will have no part of it.

  • MekongDelta69

    “77% want illegals sent home”

If America was still normal, as it used to be, that number would be 99%

I like one part of their sign (in the original article):
“Stop Separating Children From Their Inmigrant Parents”

You need an IQ and a grasp of history. (Even Cesar Chavez – anti-American, anti-white radical that he was – didn’t want illegal immigration.)

    • propagandaoftruth

Impeach him. Use this. Even if it doesn’t work, if done right, it could start a fire.

    • TruthBeTold

It’s not just ‘normal’, it’s the incessant ‘progressive’ liberal propaganda.

The MSM and the government are giving only one side of the story; ‘these people are innocent children. America isn’t about ‘hate’. We need to do more’.

Americans don’t understand the issues because they’re only being given one side of the story.

      • Sick of it

I think of the white children who will be raped or killed by these savages.

        • Nonhumans

Even if not raped or killed, they will be displaced. Which amounts to treason by our politicians and government otherwise.
          .
Anyone know what the standing federal law prescribes as punishment for traitors?

          • Sick of it

Apparently a plane ticket to Israel and a suitcase full of cash. Unless you share FedGov’s dirty little secrets with the public.

          • Black Swan

When it comes to traitors, there are federal laws but they’ll never be followed by this administration

There is only one thing that will do traitors justice and it involves a tree and a rope.

          • Sheik Yerbouti

Seems odd that dealing with traitors would be something that is regulated by the government. What use is the second amendment if we are hamstrung by constantly changing regulations and legal traps?

    • Caucasoid88

Hmm. 77 percent of Americans want illegals sent home. Latinos make up about 23 percent of our population.

  • ElComadreja

The minute this country elected a black POTUS it was all over. Appeasement never works.

    • Sick of it

      Just like South Africa.

    • Black Swan

I appreciate your comment but presidents have been bought off and installed for a long long time in this country, way before Obama took office.

      • Jo

That’s true, but Obama is the lowest of low.

        • Whitetrashgang

Not really its all the same, you cant blame a actor if the script is bad.

        • DiversityIsDeath

Maybe the next Democratic president– even if he’s White– will behave even more destructively against White America than Obama. Who knows what’s to come? (Better gird yer loins!)

      • ElComadreja

You misunderstand. By electing a black POTUS we were signaling to the world that we were truly finished as a nation. The old strong America that they feared would have never consented to being governed by a negro. We’re no longer to be taken seriously, as befits any nation that allows blacks into positions of power. The election of Barack HUSSEIN Obama was a misguided attempt at appeasing both blacks and Muslims. We’re the national equivalent of a stupid white kid that winds up in jail, tries to get “down wit da bruthas” and winds up getting raped.

  • Alexandra1973

“Some even if it’s not safe to return.”

Oh, come on. Typical liberal mentality–play on someone’s emotions.

These criminal invaders bring violence with them, so whether it’s “not safe” to return is a rather moot point.

A place is only as safe as the people inhabiting it.

    • TruthBeTold

Oh, come on. Typical liberal mentality–play on someone’s emotions.

      Unfortunately it works.

No one wants to believe they ‘hate children’.

      • Pro_Whitey

I don’t hate my kids. That’s why I want these brown ones out.

        • Nonhumans

Exactly what I was thinking. America is for white children. If it’s not safe in their (invaders’) home countries, let them pick another Hispanic country to go to.
          .
Oh the other countries don’t want them either…no surprise!!

        • Garrett Brown

          They aren’t even children.

      • ElComadreja

I have a heart of stone concerning these little brown and black sub-humans.

    • John R

Yep, but take heart. Just as in the case of the Zimmerman verdict, it shows that most Americans are not as dumb as the liberal media thinks. Most people are just getting fed up, and are seeing through this B###SH##.

      • ThomasER916

That’s because most Americans are still White. Change the Whiteness of America and the BS comes easy.

  • Truthseeker

If a little over half the population supports something like gay “marriage,” it’s a sign that it’s the true will of the people and must be imposed on everyone. I have a feeling though, that this poll result will be used as proof that the people are too stupid and intolerant to know what’s good for them, and that more diversity should be imposed on them.

    • John R

No. Because gay marriage, while morally repugnant, is not directly affecting anyone. And gays are only a small segment of the population. But apparently even some libs are waking up to the fact that all of us are going to be handing our country over to foreigners who will bleed us dry.

      • Black Swan

That’s why the agenda against us is accelerating. The hostile elites in charge of this country’s government need to import enough low IQ, low information voters to out-vote a White population that is indeed, beginning to wake up.

      • Ashley Johnson

Gay marriage and illegal immigration are equally repugnant imho.

        • Wholly Unconvinced

Equally repugnant, yes, but not equally dangerous. Illegal immigration affects everyone, one way or another. Gay marriage affects homosexuals.

(I know this is a simplistic view, and the “normalization” of homosexuality is obviously dangerous, but honestly, I think the constant media attention and political whoreing of gays by gays is much more dangerous than if we just said “okay, fine, get married, and quit whining” denying them the ability to marry gives them an opportunity to grandstand about how they beez oppressed! And cry for special rights and privileges.)

          • Ashley Johnson

Well I guess gay marriage isn’t that bad since it does only affect gay people. what I have a problem with is gay culture, it gets forced on us by the media and now it’s forced on kids in schools, it will only get worse as time goes on.

oh omg I love the guns look too! is my new profile pic better? I also like the one you mentioned. and the shirt was turquoise not pink 😛

          • Wholly Unconvinced

Hahaha, my apologies, I was probably just visualizing sort of a perfect picture, attractive white girl, AR-15, and a “girly” pink shirt just to emphasize that “yea, that’s a girl, and she’s busy being a better shot than you”.

And nothing wrong with the previous one, as dresses are nice too, lol.

This new one is definitely also a winner, pink hearing protection instead of a pink shirt, plus the other two elements? I can live with that.

(On a serious note, just checked over some of your comments on the Canada murder story, and gotta say, awesome job not getting riled up by the lunatic lefties over there. You kept everything simple, true, and backed up by facts, all of which are things they hate, plus you being a girl on try opposed of all that really seemed to be short circuiting their brains. You’really an excellent example of what we should all be doing, ie: fighting the good fight on steady one issue we hold near and dear.)

          • Ashley Johnson

            Thank you Wholly Unconvinced 🙂

          • Garrett Brown

More proof that congress does not care about the people and this includes the republicans.

    • Ringo Lennon

Republicans are controlled opposition, except that guy from Alabama.

      • mobilebay

That’s my guy, too…Sen. Jeff Sessions. He lives in the same town in which I was born. I’m very proud of him and would vote for him for President. He knows the wrong turn this country has taken and I believe he could fix it if elected. However, there has been no talk to him running. Too bad. He and Kris Kobach might just get this nation back on the right track.

        • Ringo Lennon

I knew who he was. I just wanted someone to bring his name up. He would make a great president. A no nonsense guy.

  • TruthBeTold

A few months back there was a poll showing which issues Americans found most important.

There were something like 20 on the list. Immigration was on the bottom of the list.

However, it became an issue because people like the Gang of Snakes encouraged people to come here with their talk of amnesty and legalizing ‘DREAMERS’.

It became an issue because our representatives made it an out-of-control issue.

    • John R

Yes, ironically, Obama may have finally overreached. A lot like Hitler, in that respect.

  • Visceral

The leftist utopian dream coming to fruition before our eyes….the dream captured in John Lennon’s “Imagine” is coming true:

    “Imagine there’s no countries
    It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace…

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world…”

Isn’t it great! Let’s all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Now if all those old crusty white conservatives would just get out of the way we could make the world a perfect place….

    • Sick of it

Sing it with me “It’s the neeewww worrrrld orderr…all rainbows and roses, until you get shot!”

    • JohnEngelman

John Lennon sang, “Imagine no possessions,” while dying a very rich man.

      • Alucard_the_last

Let’s not forget that he and Yoko held a concert to benefit the prisoners at Attic after the riot. Lennon and Yoko said that the prisoners should be freed and judges should go to jail. Now Yoko goes to Mark Chapman’s parole hearing to plead to keep him in jail. Typical leftist.

        • JohnEngelman

Attitudes like that were fashionable during the War in Vietnam. That war was evil and pointless. It was justified with appeals to traditional wisdom and morality. When young people turned against the war, many turned against much in traditional wisdom and morality that merited respect.

In his “Reflections on the Revolution in France” Edmund Burke wrote, “an absurd theory on one side of a question forms no justification for alleging a false fact, or promulgating mischievous maxims, on the other.”

The War in Vietnam was tragically futile. The appeal that what is called “Cultural Marxism” has on aging leftists cannot be understood without understanding the damage that the war had on the collective psyche of many young people.

If you were not alive back then, be glad that you were not young and impressionable at the time. Years later Mark Rudd, a prominent member of the anti war movement admitted, “The War in Vietnam drove us insane.”

    • John R

Yes, but thankfully a lot of the Baby Boomer Generation are old and dying off. The young and middle aged people here today, the White ones anyway, are seeing what their crap left them.

      • mobilebay

I think you have your generations mixed up, John R. The Baby Boomers are those born after the big war and range from about 65 down. They are not going anywhere soon. If by the “old and dying off” remark you meant those that saved this country in WW11, you’d better thank your lucky stars. They aren’t called the “Greatest Generation” for nothing. Perhaps you’re very young. If so, time will take care of how you think of the past.

        • John R

Yeah, I know. Not really “dying off” but the most liberal cohort of the Baby Boomers-the older ones-as opposed to the late term ones. The older Baby Boomers are more liberal than the younger ones. They remember the “noble civil rights demonstrations” and the “reverend doctor King”, etc. The younger Boomers remember abuses in the food stamp program and how great a president Ronald Reagan was. So, its a matter of perspective. The older cohort, say from age 60 to 70, are no longer the demographic holding most position of power in this country. (These are the people born between 1945 and 1955, “older boomers”). That is why support for affirmative action and unchecked immigration fell so noticeably among Whites in recent years. That is all I meant. Thanks for your reply.

    • WR_the_realist

Needless to say, even without countries or religion people will find plenty of reasons to hate each other anyway. Without possessions there would be plenty of hunger. The food in my fridge is one of my “possessions”. The farmer’s land and equipment are his possessions and he wouldn’t grow food if he didn’t own them.

  • Count me in the 34 percent that have no sympathy for the little thurd world monsters. Most of them are young adults who bring the love of ignorance, disease, and crime with them. I’m tired of seeing their ugly brown faces on the Internet. No sympathy, no amnesty, none of my tax dollars going into their bellies. Drop them off back into Mexico and shoot them if they turn up again.

    • Nonhumans

I’m tired of seeing their faces at work (as freeloading ER patients), on the road (uninsured and intoxicated), at the grocery (spending welfare dollars, ie our taxes, that they have NO right to), and at many other establishments that I should be seeing fellow American faces.
      .
In a sane country, without a treasonous government, illegal aliens would be deported without any delay, whatsoever.

  • A Freespeechzone

Why isn’t it at least 99% of all Americans that want illegals deported?

Don’t they know these illegals will DESTROY this country by taking more than they give?

Moreover, these ‘illegals’ come from Socialist Central American countries and have NO CLUE about self-reliance and hard work. Look at the HIGH percentage currently on social programs.

Failure to respond with mass Civil Disobedience to stop this will only insure our demise and a future that will put their children and grandchildren in bondage.

    It’s now or…..it’s over.

    • Ashley Johnson

I think conservative white Americans would want the illegals deported, I know I do, but we’re a very small percentage. Where I live it’s liberal paradise and my beliefs are constantly under attack by people my age, if I voice my opinion on the immigration issue I immediately get shot down.

      • Nonhumans

Don’t sweat getting shot down. Fly with a hole in your wing. Liberalism is a disease, afterall. When it all comes apart, anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together will easily and clearly see that the whole mess is the fault of the libtards, and could have easily been prevented.
        .
When it eventually mends, after a lot more blood, sweat, and tears, hopefully, libtards will be pariahs of the worst kind, or even better, extinct.

        • Ashley Johnson

Liberal people are good and their hearts are in the right place, but they’re really naïve, they don’t live in reality lol. I have a friend who’s a liberal and we always get into arguments over gun control, something I’m against and very passionate about. I think liberal people will realize soon that their kind nature will eventually come back and bite them on the behinds!

        • Zaporizhian Sich

If you fly with a hole in your wing Ashley, I fly full of holes and part of the tail shot away after a battle, just like the German Ju-87 Stukas, Russian IL-2 Sturmavecs and the more recent A-10 Warthogs and Russian SU-25 Frogfoots. When you take intense ground fire, you know you found your target. As for liberals being good hearted, I disagree. They are generous with our money, lives, children and futures, never their own. Just peel the curtain back and you will see that as we know it today really is a malignant, genocidal ideology. They want to impose it on others, never their own. They are also hypocrites. So no, I harbor nothing but contempt, hostility and even hatred towards them.

  • Einsatzgrenadier

I can’t imagine a bigger issue than third world immigration. It is the single biggest threat to the survival of this country. Yes, there’s black crime, affirmative action, a large population heavily dependent on welfare handouts and other issues. However, third world immigration will destroy this country. And when the invaders take control of the country, all the other problems will become much, much worse. We won’t be able to fix anything unless we get rid of these racial foreigners.

    • kenfrombayside

This will become reality when each and everyone of you speaks out. Being silent makes you complicit in the destruction of America. Keep the pressure on your reps in congress. Giving 11 – 30 million (nobody knows for sure) criminal lawbreakers legalization pure insanity. Plus, they could sponsor their relatives; that would bring the total up to about 50 million aliens in our midst. Of course, these new citizens will vote for the vile democrats and their socialist giveaways. Most of them will be unskilled, uneducated, low IQ etc. Stop this outrageous bill now. Don’t sit on the sidelines. You are not wasting your time. The American people don’t want this bill. You have to do all you can do to stem the third world assault:
      – Contact your 2 US Senators and rep in congress.
      – after biz hours, leave a message on your DC rep’s voicemail. All US Senators have multiple offices so it would be a good idea to hit all of the. Remember, be civil and don’t threaten
      – go to NUMBERSUSA then go to the take action button. You will be able to send faxes to your 2 US Senators and congressional for free. (I also gave a $50 donation).
      – use Business Reply envelopes to state your opposition to America’s insane immigration policies and the proposed amnesty. Don’t give the parties any money.
      – join an immigration group like FAIR. Strength thru numbers!
      – go to the RNC & DNC sites to email them.
      – Use the media: call a talk radio program; write a letter to your local paper. If the media outlet is liberal, then talk about economic impact of massive third world immigration.

  • LHathaway

“81 percent, believe the new immigration crisis of unaccompanied children streaming over the U.S.-Mexico border is serious, and almost as many want them gone”

What percent are immigrants of some kind, 19%? This shows the power of the media, more than anything. Were there just as many youth illegals entering the USA previous years?

  • John R

77% of Americans want the immigrants sent home? I think we have done this before: Blacks, about 13%, mestizos…..Actually I am surprised that the percentage is even that high. Even some of the squat monsters are catching on to the fact that it is THEIR wages that are being negatively impacted. Of course, you can’t count on blacks to reach ANY kind of logical conclusion on anything. “I wants sum uv dem messican biches!” (No White “bitches” available in some areas.)

  • Ashley Johnson

Call me heartless, but I don’t care about the conditions in their countries, I want them sent home. These people made the mess in their countries, they should go back and fix it, don’t come to the U.S. and turn our country into the third world slum you’re trying to escape from.

    • IstvanIN

I am heartless, too. The US should have stood as an EXAMPLE to the world of what a well run, liberal, free, prosperous society could be like and not become the world’s toilet.

    • M.

It’s more like tough love than heartlessness. Periodically relieving the Third World of its surplus population will neither solve their problems nor make our situation better. Eventually, all this will do is make our countries become more like theirs, and we would all end up losing.

If liberals really wanted to help third-worlders, then the most effective and durable way to do so would be to them in their countries: increase partnerships, encourage investments, targeted economic aids, etc. That‘s how you help the Third World. But something tells many of those who are liberal on immigration just want to see their white countries get browner, for reasons I cannot quite fathom yet.

      • Ashley Johnson

Our countries will become more like theirs if they keep coming here, heck some American cities are already turning into a third world because of them. My parents would talk about how Compton in Los Angeles used to be white and clean until the black people came, and now the Mexicans have pushed out the black people and turned it into little mexico. I’ve discovered that Liberal people suffer from a major guilt complex, especially when it comes to being white.

        • Ringo Lennon

Too bad these white liberal types are in positions of power. Their guilt complexes are hurting normal whites.

      • Einsatzgrenadier

But something tells many of those who are liberal on immigration just want to see their white countries get browner, for reasons I cannot quite fathom yet.

The liberal totalitarians want to destroy the white race and western civilization in order to make themselves richer and more powerful.

        • Sheik Yerbouti

Yea, they don’t seem to be trying to do this with the Chinese. Different rules.

    • Zaporizhian Sich

I AM heartless, and so are a growing number of other whites. These brown invaders and their enablers will find out just how heartless we will be when our lives are threatened by both, and we are fighting for our survival. I see them for what they are, threats to me and mine who will have to be rendered harmless, and most likely that will lead to large numbers of them ending up in graves.

  • Ringo Lennon

77% Want Illegals Sent Home, 81% Say It’s a Serious Issue

So how come same bonehead politicians keep getting reelected. Boy, American voters are stupid.

    • Sick of it

John Engelman voted for Obama twice.

      • Alexandra1973

Imagine if we had a Chinese guy running next election….

        • Sick of it

He’d probably vote under at least 10 different identities.

  • Black Swan

A huge majority of Americans, 81 percent…believe the crisis is serious.

These polls mean nothing and the Democrats have nothing to worry about. The Republicans won’t do a thing because they’re bought and paid for and many are on board with the illegal invasion.

  • Black Swan

They also worked their evil agenda (Civil Rights, busing, forced integration, no ID for voting, 1965 immigration flood act) in the days when Americans got their news from the likes of leftists like Walter Cronkite on a few news stations and only had access to leftists papers like the New York Times, which couched White dispossession as if it were the most noble of efforts and anyone who objected, a hateful, xenophobic bigot

The Internet has opened up a whole new world of information and exposed many Whites to the other side of the news, so to speak. That’s why there’s such a push for censorship of Internet content by the cultural marxists.

  • Paleoconn

This might be the issue that wins elections for the Repugs. See Brat, David. I just hope they keep their promises and the ones with good numbersusa scores keep those good scores or improve. I would not, for example, vote for Rick Perry just because he pretends to be pro secure borders.

    Sessions-Kobach 2016

I have read that many of these ‘children’ are almost fully-grown teenagers, and with rap sheets of crimes already committed, that are merely fueling the gang culture operating so well in the ‘Obamanation.’

Whether adolescent or merely nin years old, if their skin pigmentation is different from mine; if they don’t speak English; if they hail from south of the border, I have but one word for them:

    Illegals- “RAUS!”

Fifth columnists are fifth columnists, no matter the age.

  • Amnesty, huh? Who might have possibly given these invading greaserito y greaserita criminals that idea?

  • meanqueen

So, 77% huh? Can someone please explain what is wrong with the other 23%??

    • Ringo Lennon

The other 23 are the invaders and their supporters

  • Ringo Lennon

Went to Southern California two years ago. Beautiful! You got the mountains, the ocean, the climate, all the Hollywood history. Only one problem, I stayed in Motel 6 in Baldwin Park. Nothing but Mexicans there and everywhere else. And to think this beautiful area was once 80% white! What happened? Why weren’t people at Town Hall meetings?

  • Carlos Geary

Sometimes is difficult to figure out the root causes for a given problem. A common problem, may have different root causes.
However, there is a link between land-grabbing and human trafficking. Every native or mestizo population, regards its ancient lands as their home even if they have a title or not and only leave their lands, if they are prosecuted or evicted from their ancestral lands. Land grabbing is the buying of large pieces of lands, that is the ancestral home of natives in developing countries, by domestic and transnational companies and even by some individuals, because, corrupts government officials in those countries approve its sale.
At the present moment, Western Europe, USA, Australia and even less advanced countries like Brazil and Argentina in South America, are receiving massive waves of irregular emigration. Migrants entering these countries, clandestinely via land and sea routes, are in the hands of criminal organizations, but most of them, only left their lands, due to land-grabbing and that is the main root of the problem. In order to solve, this international problem, we should resolve the root cause, that can lead to solutions.
Land-grabbing and human trafficking should be seriously investigated.

  • Black Swan

Yeah, it was in all the papers on the front pages….NOT.

Follow the money, as to WHO funds their campaigns. Those large campaign donors buy politicians like commodities. The politicians are personally enriched and leave office with millions and a sinecure at a think tank or university. Those who are installed and then run their own agenda will find themselves smeared by the media and up against a very heavily funded and publicized candidate during their next election cycle.

Anyone who thinks elections in the US aren’t controlled and politicians aren’t bought and paid for is not paying attention.

Here’s an example. Recently, big Republican pols lined up in Las Vegas to kiss Sheldon Adelson’s ring and do his bidding because he has the bling to finance majory political campaigns which cost hundreds of millions of dollars: (really, where else are they going to get that kind of money?)

Mr. Adelson’s effort officially kicked off on Wednesday, when lawmakers, including a senator, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who has accepted tens of thousands of dollars in donations from the businessman and his family, introduced legislation originally drafted with Mr. Adelson’s lobbyist. The bill would close a three-year-old loophole in federal law by banning online gambling – a growing industry that Mr. Adelson argues is bad for casinos and gamblers – and shutting down online gambling in a handful states that recently legalized it. The dispute has already largely sidelined the industry’s powerful trade group, the American Gaming Association, after Mr. Adelson threatened to withdraw from the organization if it continued to back expanded online gambling, according to several industry executives.

Mr. Adelson’s political prominence will be on display Thursday in Las Vegas at the start of the four-day meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition – an event that has attracted several 2016 presidential prospects, including Jeb Bush, a former governor of Florida; Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey; Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin; and Gov. John R. Kasich of Ohio. Mr. Adelson, whose $38 billion fortune makes him among the richest men in the world, poured roughly $100 million into Republican campaigns in 2012, and he is known for pushing ideological fights in Washington.
