Tommy Robinson: EDL Leader Held at March

Yahoo! News, September 8, 2013

English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson has been arrested on a controversial march that was prevented from going through the centre of one of Britain’s biggest Muslim communities.

A tweet on the EDL website stated: “Tommy’s been arrested for incitement.”

A¬†Metropolitan Police¬†spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man was arrested for breaching section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 and inciting others to breach section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986.

“He has been taken to a central London police station where he currently remains.”

The far-right EDL had lost a High Court battle over where its members are allowed to demonstrate.

The organisation had wanted to hold the rally in an area in Tower Hamlets, east London, which it says is “subject to Sharia law”.

But judge Mr Justice King ruled that a police decision to impose restrictions over fears of serious public disorder was reasonable and proportionate.

By 6pm on Saturday, 14 people had been arrested, but it is thought the numbers may have risen.

The Met Police allowed the protest to go ahead, but under strict conditions which meant any march would be held at the outskirts of the borough and close to Tower Bridge.

A counter demonstration was held by anti-fascist and anti-racist groups. Their supporters were among those arrested.

Anti-racists should be forced to live in a Muslim ghetto.

      Or a black one.

Doesn’t matter which. They won’t be around for too long.

This is why we have to get rid of the judges …

  • David Ashton

The British police have no right or duty to arrest someone just because of their personal “presence”, nor to enforce either sharia law zones or violent threats from the Socialist Workers’ Party and its fronts. They are entitled to stop meetings or marches if they “apprehend disorder”. The trouble is that no distinction is often made between the organisers of disorder and its intended targets.

    • “Inclusive” types can go where they please, with police escort if deemed necessary.

      Truly disgusting.

    • watling

Tommy was arrested for publicly refusing to kowtow to official state doctrine that Islam is a religion of peace.

It was a political arrest in the finest traditions of the Gestapo, the KGB and the Stasi.

      • David Ashton

“Truth is no defence” where “race” is concerned.

  • JackKrak

An Englishman gets arrested just for trying to walk into a part of his own country while red carpets are set up for the next million muslims to come to Britain.

You cannot make this stuff up.

    • Manaphy

Another average dream-turned-to-reality by the usual suspects.

    • watling

Even George Orwell couldn’t have made this up. If he had, people would have rubbished his book for being too farfetched.

      • David Ashton

Yes, we have the beginnings of the Thought Police in Airstrip One. The Newspeak Appendix to “1984” rings bells today – a trivial recent example being a worried editoral discussion at The Guardian as to whether the word “pygmy” was “racist”!

        • stewball

          It probably is today.

          • David Ashton

Along with “blackboard”, “niggardly” and “Mohammedan”.

      • Johnny Squire

Jean Respail’s “Camp of the Saints” tells the story of massive immigration being shoved down the throats of the French, with the immigrants being Hindus instead of Muslims. Great Britain has quite a bit of both to deal with.

  • John Smith

What the F*** is it going to be like when whites are a minority everywhere?!

Are we supposed to proactively wipe our rear end before we say or do anything because “they” might decide that they are offended?

    • Truthseeker

Look at South Africa if you want an idea. Whites are supposedly the big bad racists who are morally inferior to their oppressed little selves, but once the opportunity is there, they won’t feel a twinge of guilt about becoming the oppressors.

      • me

The best we could hope for, from the savage Black and Brown hordes, if they ever did rise to power, is ‘oppression’. It will be genocide, done with the savagery and glee that they’re famous for. This is why we have to fight back this wave of Marxist infiltration and ‘multicultural’ chaos. The Bantus and the squat monsters do not have compassion, even for each other.

  • cecilhenry

Let’s translate this out of newspeeak:

Nobody expects the Muslims to obey the law in a democratic society, so we will punish Native British citizens to keep the peace.

This has both low expectations for non-whites, and discrimination against whites at the same time.

    FTWR…

    • David Ashton

The problem is primarily all the “white liberals” rather than every “brown muslim”.

  • MBlanc46

So instead of arresting the people who would have created the disorder, they arrested a guy who wanted to walk down the streets of his own country.

    • David Ashton

Yes, and it goes back a long way to the 1930s.

Let me give you one small example out of hundreds from the post-war period when a group demonstrating against immigration with Union Jacks flying were told by the police to put that “provocative” flag away. They did so, and were left to carry lowered unfurled flag-poles. They were then shown on TV as a group carrying staves with which to attack immigrants.

      • MBlanc46

I didn’t realize that it went back that far.

        • David Ashton

In the 1920s and 1930s the communists used to break up meetings they disapproved. In 1932 the British Union organised stewards in black shirts to protect their meetings, but this was impeded by the Public Order Act 1936. They still managed peacefully to organise the largest indoor meeting at Earls Court in 1939.

After WW2 meetings and marches because progressively more difficult for all anti-immigration groups because of police restrictions or bans on areas, the denial of public halls, occasional effective co-operation between leftist disrupters and peaceful marchers, and the ever-increasing restrictions on politically incorrect “speech”. We even had a student arrested for jokingly calling a police horse “gay”.

Given the closure of the main media to so-called “racists”, Amercans can perhaps begin to understand why our people seem to have “done nothing” to stop the disaster.

          • MBlanc46

We do at least have the formal rights of free speech and freedom of assembly. They’re routinely restricted, of course, but at least we have the possibility of seeking redress in the courts. It must be difficult not having a written constitution.

          • David Ashton

There are pros & cons re a written constitution like your own in the US. We are both subject to judicial activism by political appointees and fashionable ideology, in our case from pseudo-Europe.

          • MBlanc46

It’s certainly no guaranty. As Peter Finley Dunne put it, in the mouth of his character Mr. Dooley, “The Supreme Court follows the election returns”.

          • David Ashton

            A Democracy is a government of [mad]men, a Republic is a government of law[yer]s.

          • MBlanc46

And since every other form of government has been demonstrated historically to be a failure, we have a lot of options left.

      • stewball

I don’t believe it – think one foot in the grave – lol. Even in those days? Who were the immigrants? My lot?

        • David Ashton

In the1920s and 1930s Jewish immigrants did in fact make a substantial contribution in membership and money to communist and other leftwing organisations; this can be easily and conclusively documented from their own documents. Some of them initiated the attacks on British Union even before this organisation criticised Jews and before the Nazis came to power. The irony was that while British fascists were speaking against Jewish communists in the later 1940s, their hero Stalin in the USSR was actually killing them.

From the later 1950s onwards Mosley’s new organisation opposed immigration from the “coloured” commonwealth on economic and cultural grounds. They were opposed by leftists, including quite violent Jewish personnel with long memories inflamed by the suffering of their people in WW2 (which Mosley had actually opposed). The disruptions of anti-immigration meetings were not restricted to ex-fascist groups. But the Board of Deputies of British Jews was the chief – and successful – lobbyist for restrictions on free speech on all “racially sensitive” issues. The “anti-racist” groups (in which, we now know, Indian communists had a hand) meanwhile began to spread their influence and propaganda by what they themselves called “nationwide agenda-networking” until they have created the government/EU-enforced “equality and diversity” agenda on our native population. To their credit there were Jews opposed to both communism and postwar immigration (e.g. Harold Soref, Gerald Nabarro & Alfred Sherman), and more today because the third-world immigrants, not only Muslims, don’t like Israel, or them.
Poetic justice for your “lot” – but national injustice for ours.

          • stewball

I know about the communists from the serial about the outbreak of the Spanish flu. They were all Russians with a very bad knowledge of English. And Jews have never been liked so obviously that now includes Israel. C’est la vie.

          • David Ashton

Personally I have always been in favour of amicable co-existence between Jews and other peoples, though this has been problematic for complex historical reasons. If there is just one book (out of many) by a Jewish writer which helps to explain, with rare relative impartiality, the difficulties past and present, and allowing for a few incidental inaccuracies and omissions, I would recommend, with respect, that you read Albert S. Lindemann’s “Esau’s Tears” from your local library. Some of our posters who dislike Jews could also profit from this literary exercise.

          • stewball

Thank you for your advice. I will certainly try to find this book.

      • itdoesnotmatter

Have you not heard of John Reed and Louise Bryant?
There’s a film made about their lives and Communist activities, “Reds.” It dates back to their meeting in 1912.
Hollywood was all over this flick with accolades.

        • David Ashton

Yes, I have his book on the “Russian” revolution.
Communist influence in Hollywood has been documented by the Jewish anti-communist Ronald Radosh, and previously by John T. Flynn and a small number of Jewish contributors (with movie links) to John Birch Society publications.

    • BarnyL

Correct. Other examples are handing out a leaflet and speaking in private.

      • itdoesnotmatter

It happened to Dearbornistan Christians who dared hand out leaflets on the corner near a muzzie festival. I think it was Dearbornistan.

  • IKantunderstand

We need a Tommy Robinson. We need somebody with balls. Infiltrate the Tea Party. One of us needs to run for president in 2016. Even knowing they won’t win, we need to draw attention to what is happening to Whites! We need to run a third party candidate, I don’t care if this person has no chance to be elected, we need to draw attention to the plight of Whites in this country. I would nominate Spartacus, but it would appear he is not eligible. I swear, I am getting close to running for president myself. I will run on the “Save Whites/ Save civilization platform.

    • The EDL is apolitical. It is a grass roots movement. Tommy does not and won’t run for political office.
The EDL is not a movement in favour of white power. Their movement has Jewish divisions, Sikh divisions, Hindu Divisions, Gay and Bi Divisions. They are not racists.
The EDL’s mission is to de-Islamicize Britain.

      • David Ashton

The EDL has two handicaps: (1) it still has a hooligan element, and (2) it is ostensibly multiracial. As a catalyst for change it may have some effect, and “Robinson” does not lack guts, or fluency in argument.

        • Wethepeople

Hooligan element doesn’t bother me, but the problem you listed second is THE problem.

      • stewball

Forgive my ignorance but what does EDL stand for?

        • BarnyL

          English Defense League.

          • stewball

            Thank you.

    • stewball

Please God don’t let Obama get in again. I’ll be good.
Can he get in for a third term?

    • David Ashton

Jared Taylor. He would make a good American President if and when elected. He looks like a President, and thinks like an American. Better than David Duke or someone called Mr I. Kantunderstand, at any rate.

  • itdoesnotmatter

Turnabout is fair play. If Native Brits are by law restrained from breaching certain neighborhoods in their own home country for ideological reasons, nonEuro/nonwhites’ access should be restricted as well. Full stop.
This means: an end to legal encroachment into white areas by odoriferous browns, blacks, especially those who wear weird things on their heads, faces or bodies for cultural expression.

    • stewball

Ooh must not upset the bloody Muslims.

      • itdoesnotmatter

I’ve seen Islam referred to as “the dark presence at the world’s table.” They don’t have to say a word.

  • kjh64

These people are SICK!!!! I mean what man could have sex with an 8 year old child to the point of killing her? Savages.

    • Diversity Awareness Brigade

These are the savages you are supposed to “tolerate”.

“The future must not belong to those who blaspheme savages.”

  • David Ashton

The powers-that-shouldn’t-be have already realised this, which is why the police force has been “politically corrected” in various ways already (examples on request). The old Leninist-Comintern policy was to detach sections of the police and armed services ideologically, and a similar process has been at work in the ethnic homeland of the English people.

  • David Ashton

Violent whites definitely go to prison. Violent non-whites may not. The Police have their orders and their “equality and diversity” rules imposed by government. What is your answer to this dilemma apart from calling English people cowards?

  • JohnEngelman

Muhammad married Aisha when he was 49 and she was six. He consummated the marriage three years later.

  • itdoesnotmatter

Of course, they will violently riot. B-b-bu-but, isn’t that against Her Majesty’s law? [irony].
I’m watching the U.K. closely, reading the papers and blogs, both liberal and conservative. Unless people wake up, Britain, as we know it, will turn before the U.S.

  • stewball

I’m sorry but I do have to disagree with you at this point. Too many white fathers family neighbours and young white boys even who would not blink twice at raping an 8 year or younger child. It happens to little boys as well.
