  • On this day 236 years ago, thirteen British colonies on the North American continent seceded from the British Empire.

Think I’m playing with semantics?  Take  a look at this:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/9204961/George-Washington-named-Britains-greatest-ever-foe.html

    And this paragraph therein:

Guided the American rebels to victory over the British in the War of
Independence. Often outmanoeuvred by British generals with larger armies,
his leadership enabled him to hold together an army of secessionists from 13
different states and keep it in the field – and ultimately prevail – during
    the protracted struggle.

Among the reasons listed in the document officially declaring the secession:

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to
bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian
Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction
of all ages, sexes and conditions.

I read the DoI, and I wonder who this is any different from what’s happening today.  I look at each bullet point, and I think, Obama’s doing that, Obama’s doing that, Obama’s doing that too, check, check, check…

    • obama and his agenda has never been secret and ya know it.

What makes me sick is how all the information about obama was out there yet people Voted for him anyway.  I’m still shell shocked.

The comments about White People and wright and Indonesia and Ayers and the campaign funding he got the Middle East and the “promise” to take from the General Fund and then “changes” his mind (once he saw how little money was there) and the questionable birth place and just his comments/speeches and how he Voted on Issues (as senator) and of course, all his Absent Votes.  I just can’t believe he won not counting the Fraudulent Votes that is.

      • This is just the tip of the iceberg when dealing with America’s new political racial future.  What is probably most frightening is that we will look back on these present times with nosalgia, that is, we will remember this present as the “before complete ruin” of our society as we still had some precious fumes left of the past.

        • All I can do is cry out to God.

nostalgia – you mean like being able to walk down the Street without being attacked or see trash and graffiti everywhere and degenerate crime and not be forced to pay for our own replacement in the words of Jupiter?

On the Good Side, “We” will Prevail.

        • Ingsoc

If we don’t put a stop to the destruction of our country, “we” won’t have a history to be nostalgic about.
Our history, liberty and way of life are being systematically eradicated and erased by a totalitarian reign of terror that has descended on what was the freest country and peoples that ever existed.

We whites will be passing down our history in whispers, under threat of persecution, in fear of Big Brother and our very lives.  This is what it’s coming to, and quickly.  This next election will seal our fate.

  • He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

    Administrative amnesty for illegal aliens.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing
importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should
be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend
    to them.

    Jan Brewer.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable…

I’d call Washington DC “unusual” and “uncomfortable” these days.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

Obama hasn’t done this yet, but he’s doing his best to make the House of Representatives meaningless.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

    Showing John Roberts “photos.”

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of
Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance

The 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce ObamaCare (who thinks of the IRS when they need health care?)  And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

“We need a civilian peace corps at least as powerful as the military itself,” — Obama

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to
our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to
    their Acts of pretended Legislation

Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg and her ilk believe in “international” jurisprudence

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders
which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States

Have the murderers of Waco and Ruby Ridge ever really been held accountable?

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent

    I didn’t consent to the tax-mandate-tax-mandate-tax-mandate-tweedledee-tweedledum

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury

“Plea bargain, you’ll be a lot better off.”

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

    International “Criminal” Court

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments

“The Bill of Rights is a charter of ‘negative liberties.’  We need more ‘positive liberties.'” — Obama

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

Most Western wild fires spread far faster than they should because environmentalist wackos won’t let us do reasonable maintenance on them.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to
compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with
circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most
barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

Or, it makes us more vibrant and diverse.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to
bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their
friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

Not yet, but you know he’s liked to hand Americans “accused” of “war crimes” in Afghanistan to “tribal authorities.”

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to
bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian
Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction
of all ages, sexes and conditions.

And also:  Black savages, Chicano savages, gangs, kidnap-prostitution rings, drug cartels, Trayvon Martin, New Black Panther Party, MS-13, Chinese espionage, affordable housing, Section 8, voter fraud….

    • “He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
Most Western wild fires spread far faster than they should because environmentalist wackos won’t let us do reasonable maintenance on them.”

There is absolute proof that the federal government was responsible for turning back fire fighters and their equipment to the horrific fires recently in Texas. This was seen as a punishment to the state of Texas in which hundreds of millions of dollars of property and homes were destroyed. All under the direction of Homeland Security and thus, the traitor obama.

Have fun but make sure you come back here tomorrow with the same number of fingers you had this morning.

  • Hm… some people have different views:

Cheers to our founding fathers–the greatest white men that ever lived.

    • RebelliousTreecko

       * the greatest “right-wing extremists”, and “White supremacists” that ever lived. 😉

Saw the fireworks last night in a nearby town, and now my town’s having them tonight.
Sometimes I get tired of the fireworks, but I love the general feeling of patriotism and remembrance for our ancestors.

what are you?  a black supremist?  oxymoron or just moron………

let me guess, diversity is your strength

  • ncpride

Well, we certainly have cause to celebrate as we welcome the newest member of our extended family who was born this afternoon. What a precious gift, and our excitment is overwhelming.

    • Oh… congratulations !

      • ncpride

Thank you! Hopefully, this will be the first of many for my nephew and his wife.  We’re keeping our fingers crossed anyway.

    • CONGRATULATIONS!!!

White People ought not to be afraid to have children ’cause we all know, we’re gonna be there for each other so have many many more!

  • Hirschibold

There is a rumor going around that in the wake of Obama’s presidency, July 4th will henceforth be known as Dependence Day.

  • Rocky Bass,

Happy 4th guys, cruel joke that it’s become.

  • I won’t be waving the Yankee flag today, but I will be enjoying some ribs in honor of those brave men who dared to oppose tyrants. We could use their help today to take on the corrupt fools who co-opted their brave banner.

    • HenryHolliday

      I’m flying the Gadsden.

  • Giuseppe Verdi

Ah, but now we have Presidents’ Day instead, where we can celebrate the achievements of Barack Hussein Obama, George W. Bush, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmah Cartah, Chester Allan Arthur, John Tyler, William Henry Harrison, Warren G. Harding, and other illustrious leaders. Now isn’t that better than celebrating Washington’s Birthday?

    • And to make it even worse, the reason for one celebration day for all presidents was so that the calendar could make way for that greatest of all leaders, Martin King, whose story somewhat reads like the obama story:  full of half-truths and made up details, even unto the aliases for each. And it is entirely obvious to us here that the plan of deconstruction of America required the destruction of its white heroes, which is to say all of its heroes.

  • Jared Pierce

    Happy Independence Day to all.

On the eve of setting out for the South again and the CofCC conference. I will then be all Conferenced out until next fall and HL Mencken.

I think fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July

    –George Carlin

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

I am shocked by how few American flags I’m seeing down my street — just mine and another house…

What have we become?  Will there be salvation for our American tradition of liberty?   I give it a 50-50 chance.

    Bon

    • I think that many people who occupy the geographical area that used to be America view the flag as little more than a logo of a corrupt, oppressive government. I used to pledge allegiance to it with my hand over my heart, but I just don’t feel it anymore.

    •  Did you see any Confederate Battle Flags?

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

My God! How little do my countrymen know what precious blessing they are in possession of and which no other people on earth enjoy!

This is the last stand on Earth.”

    ~Ronald Reagan

    • Dear BonSoon,

It will take a Bon/MonSoon before anyone sees and you know it.  We’re all here just Hopin’ and a Hopin’ Away and Wasting Time and in the meantime, “American Politicians” whom “We” have NO Control over, is guaranteeing our Death in more Bills (laws/budgets passed) than we can name.  I Cry Foul ’cause that’s all I see.

  • I know this will be deleted but I’m writing it anyway:

Our Founding Fathers’ bequeathed us Gold and “we” turned it into Dust but “We” can get it back.

FIGHT and FIGHT NOW! they say.

    • Strike when the iron is hot. The time is coming, but it is not here yet. Patience is what makes us better than our enemies. We are not blinded by fury or hatred, we are calm, focused and always at the ready.

      • I guess you think I’m “blinded” by hate and/or fury?  I admit I’m not the best at writing but please believe me when I tell you that nothing I write is about “hate” or “fury”.
You don’t need to “hate” or be filled with “fury” in order to fight for your Right to Live.  You can fight in many different ways.  You can stop patronizing non-white businesses.  You can pester Congress although personally speaking, I’ve never gotten anywhere with that and you can check out of this “society” too.

I think White People should learn how to live off the land again.  We’ll be safe in the woods while they’ll be busy killing each other for what little resources there are left and those who do manage to find their way to our woods will be dealt with at that time.

  • John Adams said “The general principles on which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity.”……He next asked them: “Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day [the Fourth of July]?” – http://www.wallbuilders.com/libissuesarticles.asp?id=82

  • Bill_der_Berg

It’s very quiet here.  Is  it St Trayvon’s Day?

  • loyalwhitebriton

I briefly considered posting a link to a site (which is actually very interesting) that gives a British perspective on the US war of independence, then thought better of it; I would either get ‘moderated’, or shouted down by Amren-ers.

    Anyway, Happy Independence Day!

    • I don’t see the problem with doing so, unless the site has a lot of bent crosses and curiously moustached German dictators on it.

      • loyalwhitebriton

I can assure you, there are no bent crosses or German dictators on the site.

        The site is http://www.redcoat.me.uk/Rev-War.htm
This link will take you to “The American Revolutionary War”; at the bottom of the page there is a link to another ‘redcoat’ article “Buried History of the American Revolution”.
        Both are very interesting articles.

        • This URL is hardly unfit for AR consumption.  It goes under the category of “there are two sides to every door.”  Actually, six sides if you count the narrow edges.

It also deserves to go under the category of “Woulda Coulda Shoulda.”

          http://takimag.com/article/declamations_of_independence_steve_sailer#axzz1zXB9BDuc

Every Fourth of July, a heretical question nags: Would it have been so bad if America hadn’t won its independence from Britain?

This is not a popular topic among Americans, who invest everything about independence with transcendent import. We’re not happy merely saying that the Revolution was started by men who felt they had what it takes to rule themselves and who turned out to be right. Today, we want America to be both unique and a role model for the world.

Still, the most straightforward way to evaluate this question is by considering our neighbors’ contrasting histories. The Mexicans followed America’s lead and liberated themselves from Spain with their decade-long War of Independence, which began just over 200 years ago.

          • loyalwhitebriton

If the fledgling America had lost it’s war against Britain, I still think that the US would have gained independence eventually (history shows that all empires eventually contract), but perhaps in the way that Canada, Australia, New Zealand, did; i.e., retain the British Monarch as constitutional head of state, coupled with a Parliamentary democracy. In fact, considering the spirit of white European Americans, with their sense of independence, rugged individualism, and exceptionalism, it may well have turned out that America would have instituted it’s own All American Constitutional Monarchy…but I digress.
Also, I find the contrast with Mexico interesting. The Spanish, along with most of Europe, subscribed to Roman inspired Civil-Law (everything is disallowed, unless it’s allowed)*, whereas the early British settlers were steeped in Anglo-Saxon Common Law (everything is allowed, unless it’s disallowed)*. This Anglo-Saxon Common Law developed over centuries, and was behind both the Magna Carta 1215 and the English Bill of Rights 1689. The US founding fathers must have been familiar with both of these important documents, as there are so many similarities between the concepts contained in these documents and the US Constitution, Bill of Rights, and US Legal system – everything from property rights, to habaeus corpus, to the right to bear arms, and more.
Anyway (before this goes on and on), I think that it can be historically demonstrated that nations founded on British/Anglo values are consistently more free-er and prosperous, than otherwise.

*a slight oversimplification, I grant you, but still encapsulates the spirit of the concepts.

“.. curiously moustached German dictators on it…”

About The Patriot: “It’s horrendously inaccurate and attributes crimes committed by the Nazis in the 1940’s to the British in the 1770’s”.
Professor Mark Glancy, Queen Mary University, London.

For example, burning down a church full of civilian townsfold. This simply didn’t happen! It appears German director Roland Emmerich was looking to redeem his own people by making the British as bad as the Nazis. Quite theraputic, I’m sure, but it is still fiction!

Look up The Patriot on Wikipedia for numerous other legitimate criticisms.
    Nuff said.
